  • Let $\mathcal{F}(B)$ be the Fresnel class on an abstract Wiener space (B, H, ${\omega}$) which consists of functionals F of the form : $$F(x)={\int}_H\;{\exp}\{i(h,x)^{\sim}\}df(h),\;x{\in}B$$ where $({\cdot}{\cdot})^{\sim}$ is a stochastic inner product between H and B, and $f$ is in $\mathcal{M}(H)$, the space of all complex-valued countably additive Borel measures on H. We introduce the concepts of an $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transform ($1{\leq}p{\leq}2$) and a convolution product on $\mathcal{F}(B)$ and verify the existence of the $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transforms for functionls in $\mathcal{F}(B)$. Moreover, we verify that the Fresnel class $\mathcal{F}(B)$ is closed under the $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transform and the convolution product, respectively. And we investigate some interesting properties for the $n$-repeated $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transform on $\mathcal{F}(B)$. Finally, we show that several results in [9] come from our results in Section 3.

  • Recently, the grain boundary diffusion process (GBDP), involving heavy rare-earth elements such as Dy and Tb, has been widely used to enhance the coercivity of Nd-Fe-B permanent magnets. For example, a Dy compound is coated onto the surface of Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets, and then the magnets are heat treated. Subsequently, Dy diffuses into the grain boundaries of Nd-Fe-B magnets, forming Dy-Fe-B or Nd-Dy-Fe-B. The dip-coating process is also used widely instead of the GBDP. However, it is quite hard to control the thickness uniformity using dip coating. In this study, first, a $DyF_3$ paste is fabricated using $DyF_3$ powder. Subsequently, the fabricated $DyF_3$ paste is homogeneously coated onto the surface of a Nd-Fe-B sintered magnet. The magnet is then subjected to GBDP to enhance its coercivity. The weight ratio of binder and $DyF_3$ powder is controlled, and we find that the coercivity enhances with decreasing binder content. In addition, the maximum coercivity is obtained with the paste containing 70 wt% of $DyF_3$ powder.

  • $^{11}$B NMR measurements have been performed to investigate local electronic structure and 4f spin dynamics for TbNi$_2$B$_2$C single crystal. $^{11}$B NMR spectra show three resonance peaks due to the quadrupolar interaction. Shift and linewidth are huge and strongly temperature-dependent. In addition, both are proportional to magnetic susceptibility, indicating that the hyperfine field at the boron site originates from the 4f spins of Tb. $^{11}$B NMR shift and relaxation rates show high anisotropy for field parallel and perpendicular to the c-axis. Anisotropy of the shift and the relaxation rates suggests that the hyperfine field perpendicular to the c-axis is larger.

  • In order to upgrade native sheep, Rambouillet (R) rams were mated to Kaghani (K) ewes to generate F1 ($R{\times}K$) crossbred ewes. Crossbred ewes were backcrossed to Rambouillet rams to produce B1 ($R{\times}F1$), B2 ($R{\times}B1$) and B3 ($R{\times}B2$) genotypes. Weaning weight of 2605 lambs and wool weight of 2378 mature ewe records, representing R, K, F1, B1, B2 and B3 genotypes, were analyzed to compare genetic variation among genotypes produced during upgrading process and identify genotypes of the highest performance. Performance of Rambouillets was also evaluated under semi-temperate climate. Data were adjusted for yearly variation considering Rambouillet as a control. Genotypes influenced lambs weaning weight (p<.01). B1 lambs were heaviest (18.4 kg) followed in order by B2, F1, B3, R and K lambs (18.3, 17.9, 16.9, 16.8 and 13.2 kg, respectively). The highest wool production was 2.5 kg from R ewes followed by B2 (2.3), B3 (2.3), F1 (2.0) and K (1.2) ewes (p < .01). Ewe mating weight, reproduction, growth and wool production of Rambouillets deteriorated significantly after the first decade of their importation. Compared with the first phase (1959-1971), ewe mating weight, litter size, birth weight, lamb weaning weight and wool production declined by 20, 23, 32 and 36%, respectively, in the second phase (1972-1988).

  • This study was conducted to select a probiotic strain using Bacillus strains living in the intestines of Protaetia brevitarsis seulensis larvae. To select Bacillus strains, the ones derived from Protaetia brevitarsis seulensis larvae were heated at 80℃ for 10 min, Subsequently, they were appropriately diluted and screened primarily for carboxymethyl cellulase (CMCase) activity, followed by secondary selection based on protease activity. Among the selected strains, the F23-72 strain exhibited excellent CMCase and protease activities. This strain was identified as Bacillus velezensis F23-72 through 16S rDNA analysis. F23-72 showed similar activity to B. velezensis KACC10334 and K10 for CMCase, avicelase, cellobiase, xylanase, and mannanase, indicating the excellent functionality of extracellular enzymes. While its auto-aggregation was higher than L. plantarum K9, it was lower than B. velezensis K10. However, its co-aggregation with pathogenic strains and mucin adhesion was lower than with L. plantarum K9. These characteristics suggest that Bacillus strains generally have low adhesion to the intestinal mucosa and a low ability to remove pathogenic bacteria. B. velezensis F23-72 exhibited slightly superior antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella Typhimurium compared to KACC10334 and K10, with the best results observed at 18 and 24 hr. In conclusion, B. velezensis F23-72 demonstrates excellent extracellular enzyme activity and antibacterial properties, but low mucosal adhesion and pathogenic bacteria removal ability, suggesting its potential use as a probiotic to aid in digestion.

  • In [17, 18], the fuzzy stability problems for the Cauchy additive functional equation and the Jensen additive functional equation in fuzzy Banach spaces have been investigated. In this paper, we prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of the following quadratic functional equations in fuzzy Banach spaces: (0.1) f(x + y) + f(x - y) = 2f(x) + 2f(y), (0.2) f(ax + by) + f(ax - by) = $2a^2 f(x)\;+\;2b^2f(y)$ for nonzero real numbers a, b with $a\;{\neq}\;{\pm}1$.

  • For an irreducible binomial polynomial $f(x)=x^n-b{\in}K[x]$ with a field K, we ask when does the mth iteration $f_m$ is irreducible but $m+1th\;f_{m+1}$ is reducible over K. Let S(n, m) be the set of b's such that $f_m$ is irreducible but $f_{m+1}$ is reducible over K. We investigate the set S(n, m) by taking K as the rational number field.

  • Let G be a reductive algebraic group and let B, F be G-modules. We denote by $VEC_{G}$ (B, F) the set of isomorphism classes in algebraic G-vector bundles over B with F as the fiber over the origin of B. Schwarz (or Karft-Schwarz) shows that $VEC_{G}$ (B, F) admits an abelian group structure when dim B∥G = 1. In this paper, we introduce a stable functor $VEC_{G}$ (B, $F^{\chi}$) and prove that it is an abelian group for any G-module B. We also show that this stable functor will have nice properties.

  • Cochinchina momordica seeds (CMS) have been widely used due to antitumor activity by Mongolian tribes of China. However, the details of the underlying mechanisms remain unknown. In the present study, we found that an EtOAc (ethyl ester) extract of CMS (CMSEE) induced differentiation and caused growth inhibition of melanoma B16 F1 cells. CMSEE at the concentration of $5-200{\mu}g/ml$ exhibited strongest anti-proliferative effects on B16 F1 cells among other CMS fractions (water or petroleum ether). Moreover, CMSEE induced melanoma B16 F1 cell differentiation, characterized by dendrite-like outgrowth, increasing melanogenesis production, as well as enhancing tyrosinase activity. Western blot analysis showed that sustained phosphorylation of p38 MAP accompanied by decrease in ERK1/2 and JNK dephosphorylation were involved in CMSEE-induced B16 F1 cell differentiation. Notably, 6 compounds that were isolated and identified may be responsible for inducing differentiation of CMSEE. These results indicated that CMSEE contributes to the differentiation of B16 F1 cells through modulating MAPKs activity, which may throw some light on the development of potentially therapeutic strategies for melanoma treatment.

  • The fishing hooks were tested for breaking and unbending due to plastic deformation of the material. Study of tensile test is not complicated, but has not even worked out fully enough, especially when the test specimen is subjected to plastic deformation. The fishing hook is subjected to unbending stress and the critical section is a Point which is furthest from the line of action of the forces. The dynamic force of fish during jerks depends on their speed of movement and body weight, the kinetic energy corresponding to it and also on the rlastic displacement of the rigging which absorb the energy. Six kinds of hook were tested by the dynamometer under tensile speed 290mm/min (subscript s) and 780mm/min (subscript f). According to their results, the breaking load(B: kg) can be induced with the formula $B={\alpha}wd^2+\beta$ where w(mm) is the distance between the barb base and the lower shank and d(mm) is diameter. The coefficients of the formula for the round hooks(R) and the angular hooks(A) are approximately as follows: $$R:\;\alpha_{s}=0.5,\;\beta_{s}=1.6,\;\alpha_{f}=0.4,\;\beta_{f}=1.4$$ $$A:\;\alpha_{s}=1.1,\;\beta_{s}=2.0,\;\alpha_{f}=1.0,\;\beta_{f}=0.9$$ The ratio of $B_{f}\;to\;B_{s}$ is corresponding to 0.8. The ratio of deformation(X) that is moved distance of barb base at break to the distance(H) between head base and barb base is about $50\%$. Further study should be carried out on the subject of impact and fatigue test under the same condition which is exerted force by the hooked fish.
