This study analyzes the effect of quality of services provided to the students' in relation to their satisfaction and loyalty. Respondents in this study were seventh semester students of Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al-Washliyah, the total number of students was 312. Data analysis techniques in this study used was SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) using the SmartPLS program. The results showed that students' satisfaction significantly mediated the correlation between academics and students' loyalty, between non-academic and students' loyalty, between reputation and students' loyalty, and between campus access and students' loyalty; on the other hand, students' satisfaction was not significant in mediating the correlation between program issues and students' loyalty. The findings suggest that it is necessary to improve the quality of lecturers to improve students' academic abilities and communication skills. As far as non-academic aspects are concerned, conducting training and development efforts and increasing awareness programs for administrative staff is important. For the reputation aspect, to carry out several marketing campaigns which predict to have an effect upon students in building positive perceptions of campus has to be executed as well. Meanwhile for access aspect, it should be made certain that every student can have direct access to staff employees, and it is necessary to improve dimensions which can increase students' satisfaction so that students are convinced of their choice of campus and then they are likely to recommend their chosen university and spread positive things about their institutions.

Purpose: This study examined the relationships among disaster nursing knowledge, disaster preparedness attitudes, and disaster nursing competency among nursing students by identifying the predictors of disaster nursing competency. Methods: The study participants were 306 nursing students in the nursing departments of 3 universities located in G City and J Province. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, the Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: The participants' scores for disaster nursing knowledge, disaster preparedness attitudes, and disaster nursing competency were 5.41±1.68, 4.29±0.46, and 2.84±0.78, respectively. Disaster nursing knowledge, disaster preparedness attitudes, and disaster nursing competency exhibited positive correlations. The factors influencing disaster nursing competency among nursing students included disaster nursing knowledge, disaster preparedness attitudes, year level, disaster training experience, first-aid training experience, disaster area experience, medical service experience, and disaster severity awareness. These variables explained 17% of the variance in disaster nursing competency. Conclusion: Disaster nursing knowledge and disaster preparedness attitudes was positively related to disaster nursing competency. The findings of this study indicate that it is important to develop and apply education programs aimed at increasing disaster nursing knowledge and enhancing disaster preparedness attitudes among nursing students to improve nursing students' disaster nursing competency.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to define the concept for psychological insulin resistance in the Korean population with diabetes. Methods: The Hybrid model was used to perform the concept analysis of psychological insulin resistance. Results from both the theoretical review with 26 studies and a field study including 19 participants with diabetes were included in final process. Results: The preceding factors of psychological insulin resistance were uncontrolled blood glucose and change in daily life. The concept of psychological insulin resistance was found to have three categories with 8 attributes such as emotional factors (negative feeling), cognitive factors (low awareness and knowledge, low confidence for self-injection) and supportive factors (economic burden, dependency life, embarrassing, feeling about supporters, feeling of trust in, vs mistrust of health care providers). The 8 attributes included 30 indicators. Conclusion: The psychological insulin resistance of population with diabetes in Korea was defined as a complex phenomenon associated with insulin therapy that can be affected by emotional factors, cognitive factors, and supportive relational factors. Based on the results, a tool for measuring psychological insulin resistance of Koreans with diabetes and effective programs for enhancing insulin adherence should be developed in future studies.
Purpose: To investigate factors influencing sexual harassment and the frequency of incidents among university students. Method: During 1-20 July 2004, 339 students from five universities in Busan, Korea, responded to a written questionnaire. The SPSS Program calculated descriptive statistics, chi square test, and logistic regression analysis of the data. Result: Of the total respondents, 69.3% (62.6% of the males and 77.2% of the females), reported that they were victims of sexual harassment. Conversely, 72.5% (males 84.3%; females 58.4%), indicated that they were sexual harassment offenders. Characteristics of the reported victims were significantly different in terms of class year, proportion of males to females in their academic department, and group norms regarding sexually harassing behavior. Characteristics of the admitted offenders were significantly different in term of proportion of males to females within their academic department, group norms, and awareness of sexual harassment. Factors predicting sexual harassment included gender, proportion of males to females in an academic department, the group norms regarding sexually harassing behavior, and the offenders experiences. Conclusion: This study suggested that occurrence of sexual harassment among university students were related to various factors. Prevention programs should be developed that focus on these factors.
This study calculated the potential customer satisfaction improvement index (PCSI index) and average satisfaction coefficient (ASC) by categorizing quality attributes based on the Kano analysis for medical service quality. This study seeks to suggest ways to increase the efficiency of medical business management by determining priority to improve after applying the indexes to IPA. To achieve such purposes, this study conducted a survey on 150 outpatients of a premium general hospital and 200 workers in four different sections in the same hospital. As a result of the analysis, there was a difference in the awareness of service quality to improve patient satisfaction between the outpatients and workers. Therefore, the focus should be put on those items deemed important by the patients rather than those that the workers called attention to in order to effectively improve service quality. Along with efforts to alleviate or eliminate inconveniences experienced by patients, it is necessary to provide training programs for workers on customer reception and management such as delivering services with a kind manner and giving explanations in a proper and professional manner and exhibiting the right attitude.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of the mental health improvement program in Korean firefighters. Methods : A total of 502 firefighters working at Daegu, Ulsan and Gumi participated in the mental health improvement program for an 8-week period. The program included evaluation and counseling as well as psychoeducation for mental health awareness. Subjects were divided to two groups including the PTSD high risk group and PTSD non-high risk group. Results : The program resulted in a significant decrease in mean scores of depression and insomnia for all firefighters. PTSD high risk group showed a significantly higher level of depression, anxiety, and insomnia. Multiple logistic regression analysis with PTSD high risk group as a dependent variable indicated that moderate depression was a high-risk factor for PTSD in firefighters, as compared to no depression ; in addition, subthreshold and moderate insomnia was another risk factor. Conclusion : The evaluation and management of psychopathologies including depression and insomnia associated with traumatic events can be helpful to improve the mental health of firefighters.
