  • HAUSAT-2 비행소프트웨어 개발은 HAUSAT-2의 요구 조건을 분석하였고, 분석 결과에 따라서 HAUSAT-2 비행소프트웨어를 설계하였다. 설계 완료 후 소프트웨어 코딩 및 컴파일을 수행하고, 개별 시험과 통합 시험을 거쳐 비행소프트웨어의 알고리즘을 검증한다. 현재 HAUSAT-2의 개발 상황은 시험 모델에 대한 통합 시험을 마쳤고, 시험 결과를 분석하여 비행소프트웨어의 수정 및 운영 체제 추가 개발을 진행 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 HAUSAT-2 비행소프트웨어(flight software)의 아키텍처와 전반적인 개발 과정 그리고 개발 환경에 대하여 설명한다.

초광대역 통신 시스템의 전력 스펙트럼 밀도 분석 (Analysis on the Power Spectral Density of Ultra Wideband(UWB) Communication System)

  • 초광대역 통신은 전 주파수 대역에 걸쳐 스펙트럼이 존재하는 광대역 신호를 이용하는 방식이다. 이 신호의 스펙트럼은 마치 기저 대역 잡음과 유사한 형태로 존재하고 그 전력 또한 매우 낮게 구성할 수 있으므로, 타 통신 시스템에 간섭을 주지 않고 통신을 가능하게 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 평균값이 0이고 대칭성을 갖는 레일리 모노펄스 Antipodal 방식을 처음으로 적용하였다. 확률 과정에 의한 전력 스펙트럼을 분석한 결과, 기존의 펄스 위치 변조에서 발생되는 불연속 스펙트럼을 완전히 제거하여 스펙트럼의 억압도를 높이고, 오류 확률 및 전송 속도 면에서도 유리함을 보였다.

제주지역 레이더 음영지역 해소에 관한 연구 (A Study on Resolving the Radar Blind Sector in Jeju region)

  • Due to the influence of Han-la Mountain which is located at the center of Jeju Island, a radar blind sector has been appearing in the south-east, low-altitude area of Jeju Island. Thus, the region is perilous for aircraft using surveillance in this area with the existing radar equipment that is currently available. In addition, as the popularity for domestic leisure aviation is on the rise, the safety in low-altitude area should be guaranteed. Where not only IFR flights but also VFR flights are mainly used. Therefore, immediate measures to the present state of radar blind sector in Jeju Island should be taken into serious account. Regarding the circumstances, this study's purpose is to help secure the aviation safety in Jeju region by analyzing the current air traffic surveillance system in Jeju Island and comprehending its vulnerable factors. Moreover, this study compares secondary radar surveillance system, ADS-B and MLAT(Multilateration) system with factors based on the guidance materials from ICAO Asia and Pacific region office to suggests an adequate surveillance technology considering the regional characteristics of Jeju.

  • As around the world, ground and underground transportation capacity is reaching its limit, centering on urban areas. As urban traffic becomes congested, time and cost are astronomical, and environmental destruction caused by urban pollution is becoming increasingly serious. As a way to solve this problem, the means of flying over the air are in the spotlight as the next generation of future transportation, and the concept of urban air mobility (UAM, Urban Air Mobility) is defined as systematic planning. The development of an electric-powered vertical take-off (eVTOL) aircraft that obtains electric power through a battery using a personal aerial vehicle (PAV) as a means of transportation has accelerated. As the aircraft development of new technology aircraft in the evtol method is actively carried out, the need to prepare systems such as aircraft certification standards, pilot qualification systems, and qualification management is emerging. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), which lead international standards, announced new special technical conditions and temporary regulations SCVTOL-01, respectively. However, the pilot qualification system for operating the uam aircraft has not yet been clearly announced. Therefore, this paper analyzes the recently announced FAA regulations and EASA regulations to identify differences and directions in perspectives on UAMs and study the existing vertical take-off and landing aircraft (VTOL) pilot qualification system to present directions for qualification classification.

남.북한 항공법 비교연구 (A Comparative Study on the Civil Aviation Law between South and North Korea.)

  • 남 북간 정상회담을 위한 서해 임시직항로가 개설된 이후부터 서울과 평양 간 직항로를 이용한 민간항공의 교류는 부정기적이며 당국자간의 필요에 의하여 계속되어 왔다. 남 북한 간의 정상적인 항공기운항은 양국 간 협의에 의하여 이루어 질수도 있고 또는 부지불식간에 예상치 못한 상태에서 이루어 질수도 있다. 본 연구는 남 북간 항공법의 차이를 비교연구 함으로써 향후 남 북한 간 민간 항공기의 정상적인 운항에 기여할 수 있는 바람직한 제도적 기틀을 마련하는데 목적이 있다. 남 북한은 혈연, 역사, 언어 등을 같이하는 분단체제이나, 남한과 북한은 법체계가 다르게 되어 있다. 남한의 법은 대륙법계의 영향을 받아 체계적인 규정형식을 취하고 있는 반면에 북한의 항공법은 사회주의법계의 영향으로 그 규정이 일반적이며 추상적인 것이 특징이다. 항공법의 법원에 있어, 남한과 북한은 모두 국제민간항공협약의 체약국으로 협약상의 규정과 권고사항을 바탕으로 제정된 결과 많은 유사점이 있으나 항공기 및 비행장등에 대한 소유권의 유무, 공법 및 공사법 체계에서 오는 항공사의 책임제도와 보험가입의무등 상이한 내용도 연구결과 도출 되었다. 그러나 북한법에 관한 연구는 자료가 매우 제한적일 뿐만 아니라 북한의 법령자체도 거의 공표되지 않고 있는 실정이기 때문에 본 연구에서는 국내에서 수집 가능한 자료를 중심으로 북한의 항공법과 남한항공법을 내용상의 차이점을 중심으로 비교 연구하였다.

항공안전 데이터를 이용한 항공기 공중충돌위험식별 모형 검증 및 고도화 (Validation of Mid Air Collision Detection Model using Aviation Safety Data)

  • In case of South Korea, the airspace which airlines can operate is extremely limited due to the military operational area located within the Incheon flight information region. As a result, safety problems such as mid-air collision between aircraft or Traffic alert and Collision Avoidance System Resolution Advisory (TCAS RA) may occur with higher probability than in wider airspace. In order to prevent such safety problems, an mid-air collision risk detection model based on Detect-And-Avoid (DAA) well clear metrics is investigated. The model calculates the risk of mid-air collision between aircraft using aircraft trajectory data. In this paper, the practical use of DAA well clear metrics based model has been validated. Aviation safety data such as aviation safety mandatory report and Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast is used to measure the performance of the model. The attributes of individual aircraft track data is analyzed to correct the threshold of each parameter of the model.

항공종사자에 대한 처분제도 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of the Administrative Disposition System for Airmans)

  • In the aviation, airmans play a key role in aviation safety and perform tasks within a given range based on professional knowledge. If they fail to properly fulfill their obligations under the Aviation Safety Act, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport(MOLIT) will dispose of them in accordance with the purpose of the Aviation Safety Act. However, in the case of this disposition, it does not specifically consider the circumstances of the violation, and has a limitation in that the evidence regulations are too limited, and the contents of the disposition are uniform. Therefore, this study attempted to present a plan to improve the disposition in order to improve the problem of administrative disposition for airman. To this end, we conducted a comparative analysis of the disposition of airmans through overseas cases, and Specifically, the three-stage disposition model and effectiveness were conducted in the direction of specific judgment on violations and predictability of disposition. We would like to propose a safety improvement order to increase the level of safety and proposed amendments to the law for the method of imposing a fine for negligence.

미국 FAA 신체검사 기준 및 AME 보수교육 변화동향: 한국과의 비교 (US FAA Physical Examination Standards and Amendment of AME Conservation Education: Comparison with Korea)

  • The purpose of the aviation physical examination guideline is not only to determine the physical fitness of the aviation workers but also to treat the underlying diseases of the aviation employees effectively and to carry out the optimal aviation duties. As medical science advances, treatment guidelines for various diseases are rapidly changing, and aviation physical examination guidelines need to be revised accordingly. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the change trends of the AME guideline around the world and appropriately reflect it according to the situation of Korea. It is also necessary to continue the training of AME who are required to carry out examinations and certificates by these revision guidelines. Therefore, it would be desirable to analyze the education system of the advanced countries including the US and introduce the advantages of these systems into Korean AME education curriculum. Primarily, with the development of the Internet, various online lectures have been developed recently. Therefore, we first aimed to look at the changes in the current AME guideline of the Federal Aviation Administration. Next, we aimed to discuss changes in the course of the AME refresher course. Finally, we would like to suggest some points to be improved by comparing these AME guidelines and educational programs with those of Korea.
