조건부가치측정법(CVM)을 활용한 개발사업지구 내 유휴부지 유료주차장 활용방안 연구 (The Utilization Method of Unsold/Unused Land in Urban Development Project Areas : Estimating Feasibility of Temporary Commercial Parking Lots Using CVM)

  • In this study, the author suggests utilizing unsold and unused land as temporary commercial parking lots as a way to raise funds for active public transport use. In addition, reasonable parking fee scheme is suggested by estimating marginal parking fee and marginal parking distance for the commercial parking lots based on the CVM. The author conducts a survey to investigate citizens' opinion on utilizing unsold and unused land in the urban development project area as temporary commercial transport facilities such as parking lots. Based on survey outcome, travel behavior and requirements are analyzed and marginal parking fee and marginal parking distance are estimated through the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM). The results are as follows: in the single-bounded dichotomous choice model, people are willing to pay 216 KRW for 165m in average for 10 minutes and their willingness to pay goes down against reaching distance to the parking lots from 365 KRW for 50m, 295 KRW for 100m, 173 KRW for 200m, and 51 KRW for 300m; in the double-bounded dichotomous choice model, people are willing to pay 285 KRW for 165m in average for 10 minutes and their willingness to pay goes down as well against reaching distance to the parking lots from 310 KRW for 50m, 297 KRW for 100m, 272 KRW for 200m and 248 KRW for 300m. It is clearly appeared that people's willingness to pay goes higher as distance to reach the parking lots goes shorter.

경유지를 고려한 서울시 공공자전거 통행발생량 추정 모형 개발 (Estimating Travel Frequency of Public Bikes in Seoul Considering Intermediate Stops)

  • 최근 탄소중립의 대안으로 떠오르고 있는 자전거의 통행행태를 파악하기 위하여 경유지를 고려한 통행발생량을 추정하고자 하였다. 서울시 공공자전거인 '따릉이'의 GPS 주행궤적 데이터를 이용하여 통행에서의 중간 경유지인 체류 지점을 파악하고, 인구, 토지이용, 물리적인 특성을 반영한 통행발생량 모형을 분석하였다. 맵매칭과 체류 지점 탐지 알고리즘을 이용하여 체류 지점을 추정한 결과, 전체 통행의 약 12.1%에서 체류 지점이 나타났다. 체류가 발생한 통행은 비체류에 비해 평균 이용거리와 이용시간이 더 길며, 체류 지점이 집중되는 시간대는 오전 첨두시와 오후 첨두시 사이의 비첨두시인 것으로 나타났다. 시각화 분석에 따르면 공원 및 레저 시설, 업무시설에서 주로 체류 지점이 나타났다. 체류 지점을 고려하기 위하여 기존의 대여소 기반이 아닌 육각격자를 분석단위로 설정하였으며, 영과잉 음이항(Zero-Inflated Negative Binomial, ZINB) 모형을 이용하여 체류 지점을 고려한 통행발생량을 추정하였다. 분석결과, 자전거전용도로 및 자전거·보행자겸용도로(분리형)와 같이 자전거 이용자의 안전이 확보된 자전거 인프라에서 통행발생량 및 체류 지점에서 발생한 통행이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 공공자전거는 대중교통의 접근수단으로서 퍼스트&라스트 마일 수단의 역할을 하며, 생활중심지와 고용중심지에서 통행발생량이 커지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석 결과를 토대로 자전거 인프라의 추가 확충 계획 시 이용자의 안전시설 및 공간 확보가 우선돼야 하며, 대중교통과 연계한 자전거 인프라 시설 보급방안의 수립이 필요한 것으로 보인다.

철도건널목 정시간 제어방식 개발 밑 효과분석에 관한 연구 (Development of a Time-Based Railway Crossing Control System and Evaluation)

  • Traffic accidents at highway-rail crossing result in larger social and economic damages than the accidents at the typical highway intersections. The traditional control and warning systems of the highway-rail crossing have limitations in that 1) they do not recognize the differences of the trains' arrival times because they rely on the distance-based control system, rather than the time-based one, and 2) thereby they usually cause longer delays of vehicles and pedestrians at the highway-rail crossings. The objective of this study is to develop a time-based railroad crossing control system which takes into account the speed and expected arrival time of trains. using the spot speeds and acceleration rates of trains measured at three points, the developed system was found to be able to accurately estimate the arrival time of train. VISSIM simulation package was utilized to compare system effect of the developed time-based railroad crossing control system with that of the conventional distance-based one. It was found that the developed time-based railroad crossing control system reduced the average travel time, maximum delay length, average delay time, and average number of stop-experienced vehicles as much as 7.0$\%$, 75.6$\%$, 12.7$\%$, and 60.0$\%$, respectively, compared with those from the conventional distance-based one.

도로곡선반경에 따른 가변전광표지의 교통안전효과 분석 (An Analysis of Safety Impacts of Variable Message Signage as Functions of Road Curve Radius)

  • PURPOSES: The purpose of this study is to estimate the impact of variable message signage (VMS) on traffic safety as a function of road curve radius using statistical methods. METHODS: In order to analyze the impact of VMS installations on traffic safety, travel speed, lateral distance, and geometric data relating to road curvature in each study area was acquired and analyzed for the impact of providing VMS information on driver performance and traffic safety using statistical methods including student t-test, Mann-Whitney test, and the Anderson-Darling test for estimating traffic safety hazard zone in each lane. RESULTS: As a result of analyzing driver performance characteristics before and after providing VMS information, it was determined that by providing VMS information, mean travel speed is deceased and vehicles are driven with increased precision, following the centerline in the first and second lanes. Also the results of analyzing traffic safety impacts of VMS indicate that traffic safety performance factors in the first lane of the Gapyeong section can, on average, increase in the left and right side of the lane by 19.22% and 68.98%, respectively, and in the case of the second lane, safety impacts, on average, can increase in both sides by 100%. For the Hongcheon section, traffic safety impacts in the first lane, on average, can increase along the left and right sides of the lane by 32.31% and 47.18%, and within the second lane, traffic safety can be increased along the left and right side of the lane by 10.97% and -0.01%, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: Based on the results of this study, the impact on traffic safety obtained by providing VMS information for road sections with smaller curve radii is greater than can be obtained for road sections with larger curve radii.

  • This study was conducted to develop a vehicle, leading or following a worker at a certain distance to assist laborious transporting works in greenhouses. A prototype vehicle was tested in the practical field conditions using a developed control algorithm. Results of this study were summarized as following: 1. The sensing device consisted of infrared sensors was attached to the front of the vehicle and turning following algorithm was developed to make the vehicle turned as it follows a worker simultaneously. 2. The measured average power consumptions were 110W and 89W, equivalent to 5.2-6.4 hrs battery durations, at low speed with and without the maximum payload, respectively. 3. Results of the travel tests showed that the deviations from the center of row spacing were $\pm$100 mm along the ridge and $\pm$85 mm along the hydroponic bed in the greenhouse. Therefore, the worker-following transport vehicle was feasible to travel along the row without collision in the greenhouse.

  • This study examines the relationship between the usage of public bike and physical environment factors around the public bike stations using the public bike rental history data from 2016 to 2017 in Seoul, Korea. Focusing on the different influences of determinant factors by distance to public bike station, this study identifies influential factors that affect the usage of public bike. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, both the land use and physical environmental variables of bike station areas show strong associations with the usage of public bike. Second, the usage of public bike is also associated with neighborhood living facilities, business facilities, land use mix, the distance to subway station, public facilities and universities. This finding indicates that public bike has played a role as a transportation mode for the short-distance travel and commuting purposes in everyday life. Third, this study shows that the usage of public bike is strongly associated with the average slope, traffic volume around public bike stations, distance to streams or rivers, and the types of bike lane. This finding also indicates that surrounding environmental factors play an important role in the usage of public bike. Finally, this study identifies the different influences of determinant factors on the usage of public bike by distance to public bike station. This study suggests policy implications for the potential locations of public bike stations in the future.

  • 본 연구는 대중교통 카드 자료를 이용하여 대중교통 이용자의 통행행태를 분석한다. 통행행태 분석을 위해 토지 이용방식에 따라 공간적 범위를 주거지역, 업무지역, 쇼핑지역 등 세 종류로 분류하였다. 각 역별 환승 비율 분석 결과 주거지역이 쇼핑지구와 업무지구에 비해 환승 비율이 높게 분석되었으며 주거지역의 경우 마을버스 보다 지선버스 및 간선버스의 통행 비율이 더 높게 나타났다. 또한, 쇼핑지구와 업무지구의 간선 버스 및 기타 버스의 통행 비율이 마을버스 및 지선 버스 보다 더 높게 나타나 토지이용별로 버스 수단 이용에 있어 다소 차이가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 보행거리는 일반적으로 사용 되어온 400m와 유사한 300m ~ 400m가 최대 보행거리로 분석 되었으며, 일반인보다 청소년의 최대 보행거리가 더 짧은 것으로 나타났다.

GIS를 이용한 도시민의 야외 운동장소 접근 특성 분석 - 서울시 공원의 운동기구 사용자를 중심으로 - (Characteristics of Citizens' Access to Outdoor Exercise Places by Using the GIS - Focused on the Users of the Outdoor Exercise Equipment Installed in Parks, Seoul -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the accessibility to the place for outdoor exercise. For that, the departure (resident) location of the users of outdoor exercise equipment within 12 parks in Seoul have been investigated. A total of 1,733 people have been surveyed during the two-week period between Aug.2 and Aug. 15 and 815 cases were analyzed. We also investigated demographic characteristics, access method and related factors such as location, climate and visiting time. The results were coded through ArcGis program and the accessibility to each exercise location, difference in regional accessibility and accessibility characteristics in terms of climate and time have been analyzed. The results are as follows: First, visitors to the Han River start from the places further than the visitors to the streamlines. Second, the average moving distance is longer for the users aged under-60 than for the users aged 60 and over to reach the exercise place. And the average moving distance for visitors to the Han River destination is the longest with 748 meters, followed by 203 meters for general parks and 92 meters for streamline parks, respectively. Third, in each non-waterfront parks, the moving distance by users under-60 was longer by about 230 meters than that by users 60 and over. Fourth, exercisers in the weekend travel more by 244 meters than those during the midweek users to reach the exercise place. Fifth, the number of visitors to the Han River increased in the weekend while visitors to the streamlines decreased in the same period. Sixth, the traveling length for bicycle users is three times as much as that for pedestrian visitors. And the departure locations of bicycle users were more widely distributed.

교통상황과 확률적 수요를 고려한 차량경로문제의 Hybrid 유전자 알고리즘 (A Hybrid Genetic Algorithm for Vehicle Routing Problem which Considers Traffic Situations and Stochastic Demands)

  • 도심지에서 수요지간의 이동시간은 복잡한 도로사정과 외부환경으로 인하여 실시간 변화하는 교통상황에 큰 영향을 받고 있으며, 수요는 시기나 성향에 따라 확률적으로 변화하고 있다. 대부분의 차량경로문제 연구는 차량경로를 선정함에 있어 수요지간의 이동거리와 평균속력, 확정된 수요를 고려하여 경로를 구성하고 있으며, 교통상황과 확률적인 수요의 동적인 외부환경 반영이 미흡하였다. 본 연구에서는 원활 지체 정체의 교통상황과 확률적인 수요를 고려한 현실적인 차량경로문제를 제안하였다. 수리모형을 구축하고, CPLEX 11.1을 이용하여 검증하였으며, 총 소요시간을 최소화하는 Hybrid 유전자 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 교통상황과 확률적 수요를 고려한 차량경로문제의 결과를 기존의 휴리스틱 알고리즘과 비교하였으며, 본 연구에서 제안한 알고리즘이 가장 우수한 해를 제공하였다.

타치키스탄 - 신강 지역 지진의 진앙에 대한 상대적 위치 결정 (Relative relocation of Tadzhi kistan-Sin kiang events)

  • 1996년부터 1978년까지 타치키스탄 - 신강 지역에서 발생한 60개의 지진들으 진앙 위치를 잘 알려진 기준 지진을 이용한 상대적 위치 결정 방법을 사용하여 재배치 하였다. 지진들의 기록된 지역의 넓이가 약 $300{\;}{\times}400{\;}km$ 정도가 되기 때문에 이 지역을 네 곳으로 분할 하였다. 각각의 지역들은 정확한 진앙 위치와 주시가 알려진 기준 지진들을 지니고 있었다. 계산 결과 기록된 진앙의 위치들이 평균 0.3도 이동되었다.
