급액속도가 원심식 박막증발기의 운전 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Feeding Rate for Operation Properties of Centrifugal Thin Film Evaporator)

  • 원심식 박막증발기를 이용해 마늘착즙을 증발 농축하면서 급액속도가 증발표면에서의 액의 흐름상태와 운전 특성에 미치는 영향에 대해서 조사하였다. 급액속도 $25{\sim}125kg/h$의 운전 조건하에서 증발표면에서의 이론적인 박막의 두께는 $0.52{\sim}0.89mm$ 그리고 체류시간은 $1.77{\sim}6.75$초로 계산되었다. 한편 Reynolds number로 판단해 볼 때 증발표면에서의 마늘착즙의 흐름은 대체로 층류로 여겨졌다. 일정한 증기 및 증발온도 조건하에서 농축비는 급액속도가 증가함에 따라 감소한 반면 증발속도와 총괄열전달계수는 어느 일정한 값까지 증가하다가 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 그리고 급액속도 $25{\sim}125kg/h$(증발온도 $40^{\circ}C$, 증기온도 $95{\sim}120^{\circ}C$, 급액의 초기농도 $32^{\circ}Brix$)에서 농축비는 $1.04{\sim}2.04$, 총괄열전달계수는 $3,074.33{\sim}17,614.70kJ/m^{2}{\cdot}h{\cdot}^{\circ}C$ 였다.

  • Recently, it is necessary for study on renewable energy due to environmental pollution and fossil fuel depletion. Therefore, in this study, the filling temperature according to the nozzle geometry was evaluated based on the limit temperature specified in SAEJ2601 for charging hydrogen, a new energy. There are three types of nozzles, normal, angle and round, fixed the average pressure ramp rate at 52.5 MPa/min, and the injection temperature was set at 293.4 K. As a result, the lowest temperature distribution was found in the round type, although the final temperature did not differ significantly in the three types of nozzles. In addition, Pearson's coefficient was calculated to correlate the mass flow rate with the heat transfer rate at the inner liner wall, which resulted in a strong linear relationship of 0.98 or higher.

  • 태양열(太陽熱)을 이용(利用)한 곡물(穀物)의 건조(乾燥)와 저장(貯藏)을 겸할 수 있는 농가용(農家用) 태양열(太陽熱) 저장고(貯藏庫)의 개발(開發)에 필요(必要)한 기초자료(基礎資料)를 얻기 위(爲)하여 구조(構造)가 간단(簡單)하고 가격(價格)이 저렴한 콘크리트 벽체의 저장고(貯藏庫)와 그 지붕을 대신(代身)한 태양열집열기(太陽熱集熱器)를 설계(設計) 제작(製作)하여 집열기(集熱器)의 성능(性能)을 실험(實驗)에 의(依)하여 구(求)하였으며 집열기(集熱器)에서 가열(加熱)된 공기(空氣)와 상온통풍(常溫通風)에 의(依)한 벼의 건조특성(乾操特性)을 비교(比較) 분석(分析)하였다. 건조(乾操)된 곡물(穀物)의 저장시(貯藏時)에 그 온도(溫度)를 예측(豫測)할 수 있는 simulation model을 개발(開發)하여 그 적합성(適合性)을 검정(檢定)하고 저장곡물(貯藏殺物)의 각(各) 부위(部位)에 대(對)한 온도(溫度)의 변화(變化)를 분석(分析)한 결과(結果)들을 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 본(本) 실험(實驗)에 설계(設計) 제작(製作)된 태양열집열기(太陽熱集熱器)의 효율(效率)은 평균(平均) 26%였으며 총열전달계수(總熱傳達係數)는 약(約) $25kJ/hr.m^2\;^{\circ}K$였다. 2. 태양열(太陽熱)을 이용(利用)한 건조(乾燥)에서는 공시(供試)벼의 함수율(含水率) 23.5%에서 15.0%까지 건조(乾燥)시키는데 7일(日)이 소요(所要)되었으며 상온통풍건조(常溫通風乾燥)에서는 함수율(含水率) 20.0%에서 15.5%까지 건조(乾燥)시키는데 12일(日)이 소요(所要)되었다. 3. 건조소요시간(乾燥所要時間)은 태양열(太陽熱)을 이용(利用)한 건조(乾燥)가 배(倍) 정도(程度) 빠르나 하층부(下層部)의 곡물(穀物)의 과건현상(過乾現象)의 방지책(防止策)이 철저히 구명(究明)되어야 할 것이다. 4. 저장곡물(貯藏殺物)의 온도(溫度)를 예측(豫測)할 수 있는 simulation model을 finite difference method에 의(依)해 개발(開發)하였으며 검정(檢定) 결과(結果) 실측치(實測値)와 잘 일치(一致)되었다. 5. 저장곡물(貯藏殺物)의 온도(溫度) 변화(變化)는 벽체와 접촉(接觸)하고 있는 부위(部位)에서 컸으며 곡물(穀物)의 손상(損傷)도 이곳에서 심(甚)할 것으로 사료(思料)된다.

김치 동결시의 물리적 특성 및 동결시간 예측 모델 개발 (Development of Freezing Time Prediction Model and Thermo-physical Properties of Frozen Kimchi)

  • 본 연구에서는 냉동처리한 김치의 동결에 따른 물리적 특성을 조사하고 적정 동결시간을 예측하기 위한 모델을 개발하였다. 김치의 동결 전후의 밀도를 부피에 대한 중량의 비로 산정한 결과 김치의 밀도는 1001.9$\pm$0.03 kg/㎥(동결전), 987.0$\pm$0.07 kg/㎥(동결후)이었고 김치의 체적팽창은 4.67%(-15$^{\circ}C$)이었다. 김치의 빙결점은 양념액에서 -2.5$^{\circ}C$, 고형분은 -4.$0^{\circ}C$로 측정되었다. 김치의 빙결율은 -5.$0^{\circ}C$일 때 약 50%이상, -1$0^{\circ}C$일 때 약 75% 이상, -$25^{\circ}C$일 때 약 90% 수준이었다 시료의 초기온도( $X_1$), 시료의 두께( $X_2$)와 시료의 초기빙결점에서 동결매체 온도사이의 차의 역수( $X_3$) 및 표면열전달계수의 역수( $X_4$)를 독립변수로 하고 동결시간(Y)을 종속변수로 설정하여 다중회귀 분석을 실시한 결과, $Y_{kimchi}$=3.856 $X_1$+13982.8 $X_2$+8305.166 $X_3$+ 3559.181 $X_4$-639.189($R^2$=0.9632)의 방정식을 구하였다. 이 식은 기존의 모델에 비해 측정치와 예측치가 비교적 유사한 것으로 나타났으며, 평균 절도오차도 10% 수준이었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 새만금과 같은 간척지를 활용하여 대규모 첨단온실단지를 조성하는 경우 간척지의 환경적 특수성 중 높은 풍속에 따른 유리 단열재의 에너지 효율을 평가하였다. 현장에서 주로 사용되는 온실 단열재 중 4가지에 대한 평가 결과, 최대 37.4%의 에너지 차이를 보여, 온실 피복재의 선정이 중요함을 제시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 일반적인 내륙에서의 온실을 설계하는 것과 달리, 간척지에서는 내재해성 온실규격을 따라 시설을 설계하여야 하며, 에너지 소비량은 높아진 풍속과 재질을 고려하여 산정되어야 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 에너지 효율성을 온실 피복재의 종류와 풍속에 따라서 제시하고 있으며, 이는 대규모 첨단온실 조성 시 에너지 소비량을 예측하고, 이를 바탕으로 신재생에너지원을 포함하는 에너지 설계에 활용될 수 있다

다중회귀분석에 의한 식품의 동결시간 예측 (Freezing Time Prediction of Foods by Multiple Regression Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 서로 다른 동결조건 및 방법에 따른 우육 및 tylose의 단순하며 간편한 동결시간을 예측할 수 있는 모델을 모색하기 위하여 23개의 실험데이터를 이용하여 시료의 초기온도$(X_1)$, 시료의 두께$(X_2)$와 시료의 초기빙결점에서 동결매체 온도사이의 차의 역수$(X_3)$ 및 표면열전달계수의 역수$(X_4)$를 독립변수로 하고 동결시간(Y)을 종속변수로 설정하여 다중회귀 분석을 실시한 결과, $Y_{tylose}=3.45X_1+7642.84X_2+4642.67X_3+2946.89X_4-431.33\;(R^2=0.9568)$$Y_{beef}=0.68X_1+7568.98X_2+2430.78X_3+3293.26X_4-299.00\;(R^2=0.9897)$의 방정식을 구하였다. 본 모델은 Cleland & Earle와 Hung & Thompson의 모델과 마찬가지로 평균절대오차는 10% 수준으로, Plank, Nagaoka 및 Pham의 모델보다 정확함과 아울러 매우 간편함을 보여 주었다. 또한, 우육 및 tylose의 $6{\sim}7^{\circ}C$ 범위에서의 열확산율은 $4.43{\times}10^{-4}m^2/hr$$4.39{\times}10^{-4}m^2/hr,\;-10{\sim}-12^{\circ}C$에서의 열확산율은 $2.42{\times}10^{-3}m^2/hr$$3.32{\times}10^{-3}m^2/hr$로 측정되었고, tylose 및 우육의 빙결점은 각각 $-0.6^{\circ}C$$-1.2^{\circ}C$로 나타났다. 그리고 표면열전달계수는 송풍식에서 무포장시 $20.57\;W/m^2^{\circ}C$, wrap 포장시는 $16.11\;W/m^2^{\circ}C$, wrap 과 Al-foil로 포장한 경우에는 $13.07\;W/m^2^{\circ}C$로 계산되었으며, 침지식은 송풍식보다 냉각속도가 약 10배 이상 빠르게 나타났다.

지하수 관개에 의한 수도의 멸준양상과 그 방지책에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Rice Yield Decreased by Ground Water Irrigation and Its Preventive Methods)

  • The purposes of this thesis are to clarify experimentally the variation of ground water temperature in tube wells during the irrigation period of paddy rice, and the effect of ground water irrigation on the growth, grain yield and yield components of the rice plant, and, furthermore, when and why the plant is most liable to be damaged by ground water, and also to find out the effective ground water irrigation methods. The results obtained in this experiment are as follows; 1. The temperature of ground water in tube wells varies according to the location, year, and the depth of the well. The average temperatures of ground water in a tubewells, 6.3m, 8.0m deep are $14.5^{\circ}C$ and $13.1^{\circ}C$, respercively, during the irrigation period of paddy rice (From the middle of June to the end of September). In the former the temperature rises continuously from $12.3^{\circ}C$ to 16.4$^{\circ}C$ and in the latter from $12.4^{\circ}C$ to $13.8^{\circ}C$ during the same period. These temperatures are approximately the same value as the estimated temperatures. The temperature difference between the ground water and the surface water is approximately $11^{\circ}C$. 2. The results obtained from the analysis of the water quality of the "Seoho" reservoir and that of water from the tube well show that the pH values of the ground water and the surface water are 6.35 and 6.00, respectively, and inorganic components such as N, PO4, Na, Cl, SiO2 and Ca are contained more in the ground water than in the surface water while K, SO4, Fe and Mg are contained less in the ground water. 3. The response of growth, yield and yield components of paddy rice to ground water irrigation are as follows; (l) Using ground water irrigation during the watered rice nursery period(seeding date: 30 April, 1970), the chracteristics of a young rice plant, such as plant height, number of leaves, and number of tillers are inferior to those of young rice plants irrigated with surface water during the same period. (2) In cases where ground water and surface water are supplied separately by the gravity flow method, it is found that ground water irrigation to the rice plant delays the stage at which there is a maximum increase in the number of tillers by 6 days. (3) At the tillering stage of rice plant just after transplanting, the effect of ground water irrigation on the increase in the number of tillers is better, compared with the method of supplying surface water throughout the whole irrigation period. Conversely, the number of tillers is decreased by ground water irrigation at the reproductive stage. Plant height is extremely restrained by ground water irrigation. (4) Heading date is clearly delayed by the ground water irrigation when it is practised during the growth stages or at the reproductive stage only. (5) The heading date of rice plants is slightly delayed by irrigation with the gravity flow method as compared with the standing water method. (6) The response of yield and of yield components of rice to ground water irrigation are as follows: \circled1 When ground water irrigation is practised during the growth stages and the reproductive stage, the culm length of the rice plant is reduced by 11 percent and 8 percent, respectively, when compared with the surface water irrigation used throughout all the growth stages. \circled2 Panicle length is found to be the longest on the test plot in which ground water irrigation is practised at the tillering stage. A similar tendency as that seen in the culm length is observed on other test plots. \circled3 The number of panicles is found to be the least on the plot in which ground water irrigation is practised by the gravity flow method throughout all the growth stages of the rice plant. No significant difference is found between the other plots. \circled4 The number of spikelets per panicle at the various stages of rice growth at which_ surface or ground water is supplied by gravity flow method are as follows; surface water at all growth stages‥‥‥‥‥ 98.5. Ground water at all growth stages‥‥‥‥‥‥62.2 Ground water at the tillering stage‥‥‥‥‥ 82.6. Ground water at the reproductive stage ‥‥‥‥‥ 74.1. \circled5 Ripening percentage is about 70 percent on the test plot in which ground water irrigation is practised during all the growth stages and at the tillering stage only. However, when ground water irrigation is practised, at the reproductive stage, the ripening percentage is reduced to 50 percent. This means that 20 percent reduction in the ripening percentage by using ground water irrigation at the reproductive stage. \circled6 The weight of 1,000 kernels is found to show a similar tendency as in the case of ripening percentage i. e. the ground water irrigation during all the growth stages and at the reproductive stage results in a decreased weight of the 1,000 kernels. \circled7 The yield of brown rice from the various treatments are as follows; Gravity flow; Surface water at all growth stages‥‥‥‥‥‥514kg/10a. Ground water at all growth stages‥‥‥‥‥‥428kg/10a. Ground water at the reproductive stage‥‥‥‥‥‥430kg/10a. Standing water; Surface water at all growh stages‥‥‥‥‥‥556kg/10a. Ground water at all growth stages‥‥‥‥‥‥441kg/10a. Ground water at the reproductive stage‥‥‥‥‥‥450kg/10a. The above figures show that ground water irrigation by the gravity flow and by the standing water method during all the growth stages resulted in an 18 percent and a 21 percent decrease in the yield of brown rice, respectively, when compared with surface water irrigation. Also ground water irrigation by gravity flow and by standing water resulted in respective decreases in yield of 16 percent and 19 percent, compared with the surface irrigation method. 4. Results obtained from the experiments on the improvement of ground water irrigation efficiency to paddy rice are as follows; (1) When the standing water irrigation with surface water is practised, the daily average water temperature in a paddy field is 25.2$^{\circ}C$, but, when the gravity flow method is practised with the same irrigation water, the daily average water temperature is 24.5$^{\circ}C$. This means that the former is 0.7$^{\circ}C$ higher than the latter. On the other hand, when ground water is used, the daily water temperatures in a paddy field are respectively 21.$0^{\circ}C$ and 19.3$^{\circ}C$ by practising standing water and the gravity flow method. It can be seen that the former is approximately 1.$0^{\circ}C$ higher than the latter. (2) When the non-water-logged cultivation is practised, the yield of brown rice is 516.3kg/10a, while the yield of brown rice from ground water irrigation plot throughout the whole irrigation period and surface water irrigation plot are 446.3kg/10a and 556.4kg/10a, respectivelely. This means that there is no significant difference in yields between surface water irrigation practice and non-water-logged cultivation, and also means that non-water-logged cultivation results in a 12.6 percent increase in yield compared with the yield from the ground water irrigation plot. (3) The black and white coloring on the inside surface of the water warming ponds has no substantial effect on the temperature of the water. The average daily water temperatures of the various water warming ponds, having different depths, are expressed as Y=aX+b, while the daily average water temperatures at various depths in a water warming pond are expressed as Y=a(b)x (where Y: the daily average water temperature, a,b: constants depending on the type of water warming pond, X; water depth). As the depth of water warning pond is increased, the diurnal difference of the highest and the lowest water temperature is decreased, and also, the time at which the highest water temperature occurs, is delayed. (4) The degree of warming by using a polyethylene tube, 100m in length and 10cm in diameter, is 4~9$^{\circ}C$. Heat exchange rate of a polyethylene tube is 1.5 times higher than that or a water warming channel.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm.
