An Architectural Study on the Improvement of Energy Efficiency of Public Institution - Focused on Public Office Buildings Remodeling of Passive Design Elements - (공공기관 에너지 효율등급 향상을 위한 적용 설계요소에 관한 연구 - 공공청사 리모델링시 패시브 디자인요소를 중심으로 -)

  • There are lots of buildings which were built before the Legislation on building energy rating system. Remodeling of the buildings would be required for an improvement of the building energy rating system was enforced by the government. In the Passive Building Design, Elements which will be used for the remodeling are Insulation, Window, External venetian blind, Heat exchanger. The Purpose of this study is to indicate a Method for the improvement of Energy saving by an analysis of Construction Cost, Cost Evaluation, Energy performance Efficiency in applied design elements. In this study, the remodeling of existing public buildings to improve energy efficiency rating was applied to extract the elements of design-specific energy performance, efficiency, and the application of the designs that has been analyzed. The results were as follows: applying the design-specific cost-effective investment that represents the economy (investment efficiency/%) surveyed the average insulation(7.0%), triple glazed windows(10.1%), double glazed windows(12.1%), external shading(24.5%), and Heat(77.2%) were analyzed in order to be more efficient. Analysis of the basis of information on the existing public buildings to improve energy efficiency rating for the remodeling depending on driving conditions at a degree of individual difference. The main effect, however, depending on economic investment, design elements, heat exchangers, external awning, double glazed windows, triple glazed windows, insulation, is recommended as review of the order shall be determined.

Chaebolgroups Propping: Evidence from the Stock-Price Effects by Changing of Corporate Bond Rating (재벌기업집단의 propping 효과 -기업 신용평가등급 변경-)

  • I examine propping within chaebolgroups, using changes of bond rating events made by corporate credit evaluation institutions. Much studies related to the internal capital market and tunneling have enhanced our understanding of the important function of chaebolgroups in emerging market, but relatively little is known about propping within affiliated firms. In a common sense, propping implies capital reallocation within affiliated firms to save a financially troubled affiliate. In event study on announcement the changes of corporate bond rating, I found most positive numbers in chaebolgroup's CAR. Particularly when lower change than higher change, decrease ratio of CAR is higher positively in chaebolgroups, which relatively shows that there is more propping effects in chaebolgroups than non-chaebolgroups. In multi-regression analysis, after strengthen restriction of internal mutual investment, propping effects are decreased positively in chaebolgroups than non-chaebolgroups when credit rating adjust lower, which implies there was more propping in chaebolgroups.

A Design of HPPS(Hybrid Preference Prediction System) for Customer-Tailored Service (고객 맞춤 서비스를 위한 HPPS(Hybrid Preference Prediction System) 설계)

  • This paper proposes a HPPS(Hybrid Preference Prediction System) design using the analysis of user profile and of the similarity among users precisely to predict the preference for custom-tailored service. Contrary to the existing NBCFA(Neighborhood Based Collaborative Filtering Algorithm), this paper is designed using these following rules. First, if there is no neighbor's commodity rating value in a preference prediction formula, this formula uses the rating average value for a commodity. Second, this formula reflects the weighting value through the analysis of a user's characteristics. Finally, when the nearest neighbor is selected, we consider the similarity, the commodity rating, and the rating frequency. Therefore, the first and second preference prediction formula made HPPS improve the precision by 97.24%, and the nearest neighbor selection method made HPPS improve the precision by 75%, compared with the existing NBCFA.

Initiation of Pharmaceutical Care Service in Medical Intensive Care Unit with Drug Interaction Monitoring Program (내과계 중환자실 약료 서비스 도입과 약물상호작용 모니터링)

  • Objective: It is to evaluate the drug interaction monitoring program as a pilot project to develop a pharmaceutical care model in a medical intensive care unit and to analyze the influencing factors of drug interactions. Method: Electronic medical records were retrospectively investigated for 116 patients who had been hospitalized in a medical intensive care unit from October to December in 2014. The prevalence of adverse reaction with risk rating higher than 'D' was investigated by Lexi-$Comp^{(R)}$ Online database. The factors related with potential drug interaction and with treatment outcomes were analyzed. Results: The number of patients with a potential interaction of drug combination was 92 (79.3%). Average ages, the length of stay in the intensive care unit and the numbers of prescription drugs showed significant differences between drug interaction group and non-drug interaction group. Opioids (14.4%), antibiotics (7.2%), and diuretics (7.2%) were most responsible drug classes for drug interactions and the individual medications included furosemide (6.4%), tramadol (4.9%), and remifentanil (4.5%). There were 950 cases with a risk rating of 'C' (84.6%), 142 cases with a risk rating of 'D' (12.6%), and 31 cases with a risk rating of 'X' (avoid combination) (2.8%). The factors affecting drug interactions were the number of drugs prescribed (p < 0.0001) and the length of stay at intensive care unit (p < 0.01). The patients in intensive care unit showed a high incidence of adverse reactions related to potential drug interaction. Therefore, drug interaction monitoring program as a one of pharmaceutical care services was successfully piloted and it showed to prevent adverse reaction and to improve therapeutic outcomes. Conclusion: Active participation of a pharmacist in the drug management at the intensive care unit should be considered.

A Movie Recommendation Method Using Rating Difference Between Items (항목 간 선호도 차이를 이용한 영화 추천 방법)

  • User-based and item-based method have been developed as the solutions of the movie recommendation problem. However, these methods are faced with the sparsity problem and the problem of not reflecting user's rating respectively. In order to solve these problems, there is a research on the combination of the two methods using the concept of similarity. In reality, it is not free from the problem of sparsity, since it has a lot of parameters to be calculated. In this study, we propose a recommendation method using rating difference between items in order to complement this problem. This method is relatively free from the problem of sparsity, since it has less parameters to be calculated. And it can get more accurate results by reflecting the users rating to calculate the parameters. In experiments for the proposed method, the initial error is large, but the performance has been quickly stabilized after. In addition, it showed a 0.0538 lower average error compared to the existing method using similarity.

Rasch Rating Scale Modeling of the Disability Identity Scale (장애 정체감 척도의 Rasch 모형 적용)

  • In this Study, to reconstruct the disability identity scale(Lee and Shin, 2006)), Rasch rating scale model was applied to the four sub-dimensions of the Disability Identity Scale in a sample of spinal cord injuries(N=397). The Disability Identity Scale was verified by explorative factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. However, factor analytic procedures can't evaluate item-fit indices, item difficulty, and appropriate scale category. A number of limitations posed by confirmatory factor analytic procedures can be averted with the use of Rasch rating scale model which is in the item response theory(IRT). So in this study, Rasch model was applied to the Disability Identity Scale. Results revealed that (A) 20 items were selected from Rasch model, (B) the difficulty level of the Disability Identity Scale was the average level, (C) 4-point rating scale was appropriate for the Disability Identity Scale. Finally, we could suggest that the sub-dimensions concepts of the disability identity became clearer and items were to the good fitting.

Movie Recommendation System based on Latent Factor Model (잠재요인 모델 기반 영화 추천 시스템)

  • With the rapid development of the film industry, the number of films is significantly increasing and movie recommendation system can help user to predict the preferences of users based on their past behavior or feedback. This paper proposes a movie recommendation system based on the latent factor model with the adjustment of mean and bias in rating. Singular value decomposition is used to decompose the rating matrix and stochastic gradient descent is used to optimize the parameters for least-square loss function. And root mean square error is used to evaluate the performance of the proposed system. We implement the proposed system with Surprise package. The simulation results shows that root mean square error is 0.671 and the proposed system has good performance compared to other papers.

An Empirical Analysis about the usefulness of Internal Control Information on Corporate Soundness Assessment (기업건전성평가에 미치는 내부통제정보의 유용성에 관한 실증분석 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide an efficient internal control system formation incentives for company and to confirm empirically usefulness of the internal accounting control system for financial institutions by analyzing whether the internal control vulnerabilities of companies related significantly to the classification and assessment of soundness of financial institutions. Empirical analysis covered KOSPI, KOSDAQ listed companies and unlisted companies with more than 100 billion won of assets which have trading performance with "K" financial institution from 2008 until 2013. Whereas non-internal control vulnerability reporting companies by the internal control of financial reporting received average credit rating of BBB on average, reporting companies received CCC rating. And statistically significantly, non-reporting companies are classified as "normal" and reporting companies are classified as "precautionary loan" when it comes to asset quality classification rating. Therefore, reported information of internal control vulnerability reduced the credibility of the financial data, which causes low credit ratings for companies and suggests financial institutions save additional allowance for asset insolvency prevention and require high interest rates. It is a major contribution of this study that vulnerability reporting of internal control in accordance with the internal control of financial reporting can be used as information significant for the evaluation of financial institutions on corporate soundness.

The Effectiveness of Ultrasound-Guided Soyeom Pharmacopuncture Therapy at Acromioclavicular Joint of Shoulder in Patients with Anterior Shoulder Pain: A Retrospective Study (견관절 전방 통증 환자에서 초음파 유도하 견쇄관절 소염약침요법 병행 치료의 효과: 후향적 연구)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study was to observe effectiveness of ultrasound-guided Soyeom pharmacopuncture therapy at acromioclavicular joint of shoulder in patients with anterior shoulder pain. Methods We analyzed medical records of 9 patients hospitalized with anterior shoulder pain who had admitted to Department of Korean Rehabilitation Medicine, College of Korean Medicine, Daejeon University from March 1, 2021 to June 13, 2021. 9 patients were treated the treatment of Soyeom pharmacopuncture therapy on acromioclavicular joint under ultrasonic guidance with Korean medicine treatment (such as herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxabustion, etc). The study was conducted as a retrospective observation study which analyze the patient's medical records. We used numeric rating scale (NRS) to evaluate pain reduction and the shoulder range of motion (ROM) to evaluate function improvement twice (before pharmacopuncture treatment and 5 days later treatment). Statistical analysis was performed using the IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 program (IBM Co., Armonk, NY, USA). Results The average of numeric rating scale reduced statistically significantly from 5.56±1.13 to 3.11±1.36 (p=0.004). The average of shoulder flexion ROM increased statistically significantly from 166.67±8.17° to 175.00±8.37° (p<0.05). And the average of shoulder abduction ROM increased statistically significantly from 158.57±20.35° to 172.86±12.53° (p<0.05). Both NRS and shouler ROM showed statistically significantly improve after treatment. Conclusions This study shows ultrasound-guided Soyeom pharmacopuncture therapy at acromioclavicular joint of shoulder has a meaningful clinical effect on the improving shoulder pain and ROM especially on flexion and abduction.

The Study on Development of R&D Technology Rating Methodology in the Defense Area (국방 R&D기술 등급평가 방법론 개발 연구)

  • This paper presents the technology rating methodology that is applicable to defense R&D technology. First, a technology profitability index was developed using multiple regression analysis to forecast the revenue from technology transfer. Secondly, the technology evaluation index was derived using hierarchical analysis with expert opinion. Finally, the weighted average of the technology profitability index and technology evaluation index were calculated to derive the technology rating. This study is significant in that it is first attempt to evaluate defense R&D technology by rating. If the defense R&D technology rating methodology is applied in practice, it can contribute to efficient R&D budget allocation. In addition, it will help in the vitalization of technology transfer in the defense R&D sector.
