GMG 시간 사용 모델 및 핵심성과지표를 이용한 지하 광산 트럭 운반 작업 성능 평가 (Performance Evaluation of Truck Haulage Operations in an Underground Mine using GMG's Time Usage Model and Key Performance Indicators)

  • 본 연구에서는 GMG (Global Mining Guidelines Group)에서 제안한 시간 사용 모델과 핵심성과지표(KPIs)들을 이용하여 트럭 운반작업에 대한 성과를 평가한 결과를 제시하였다. 이를 위해 철과 티탄 철을 주로 생산하는 국내 지하광산을 연구지역으로 선정한 다음 블루투스 비콘과 태블릿 PC를 이용하여 트럭 운반작업 데이터를 수집하였다. 수집된 데이터를 분석하여 트럭 운반작업의 단위작업, 활동 및 이벤트, 소요시간을 식별하였으며, 시간 사용 모델을 기반으로 시간 범주를 분류하였다. 트럭 운반작업의 성과는 가용률, 이용률, 효율성 측면의 9개 성과지표를 이용하여 평가하였다. 그 결과, 가용률 측면에서는 가동시간이 33.9%, 물리적 가용률은 95.7%, 기계적 가용률은 94.9%로 나타났다. 이용률의 경우, 가용장비 이용률은 83.1%, 자산 이용률은 28.1%, 운영 및 유효 이용률은 각각 79.6%, 77.7%로 나타났다. 또한, 효율성 측면에서는 운영 효율성이 97.6%로 높게 나타났으며, 생산 효율성은 49%로 나타났다.

  • A Stochastic simulation model for optimal design and evaluation of the integrated weapon systems under the consideration of the RAM (reliability, availability and maintainability) and life cycle cost (LCC) was developped. This model is supposed to satisfy a need regarding the methodology of optimaldesign and performance evaluation for both developpers and users of weapon systems.

신뢰도 분석에 근거한 SIS 평가 방법론 개발 (Development of the SIS Evaluation Method Based on Reliability Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 결함수목 분석법을 이용하여 Safety Integrity Level(SIL)을 평가하고 시스템의 목표한 SIL에 도달하지 못할 경우에 신뢰도 분석과 시스템 retrofit을 통해서 목표한 SIL을 만족시키게 하는 방법을 개발하였다. 신뢰도 분석에 근거한 SIL 평가 방법을 검증하기 위해서 415V Diesel BUS에 대해서 위험성 분석을 수행하였다. 기존의 415V Diesel BUS에 대한 이용가능 상태는 $99.40\%$로 SIL 2등급에 해당된다. 개발된 평가방법을 이용하여 diesel generator와 isolator switch의 교체후 시스템의 이용가능 상태는 $99.94\%$ SIL 3등급으로 상승되었다. 본 연구에서 제시한 신뢰도에 근거한 SIL 평가 방법을 적용하면 사고 예방과 손실감소로 일어나는 유지보수 비용의 절감 등을 가져오면 물론 시스템의 신뢰도를 극대화 할 수 있다.

  • Man-machine system is an integrated total system which is linked by functions of man and machine, and the value of the system is determined by its compatability. And it is able to evaluate the system value on the aspects of utility, availability, and cost benefit. The authors previously represented the methodology of system utility using transfer functions, and this paper successively discusses the reliability of man-machine system. The reliability estimation and evaluation methodologies are briefly mentioned, and some examples are shown in this paper.

  • This research suggests a criterion, security quality, which is a unifying principle in computer network security that has the lack of a unifying principle. The security quality includes secrecy, integrity, recording, and availability among the factors that represent the security evaluation of the computer system. So, we defined the security quality, which is a basis for determining the security level, as the grand total of evaluation about each factor.

  • An economic evaluation is required in order to apply to the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA) for a listing in the national drug formulary. To assist companies in preparing the necessary documents, HIRA published guidelines for the economic evaluation of pharmaceuticals in 2006. The guidelines are composed of two parts: guidance and explanatory notes. Each guideline reflects the best practice which meets both the theoretical consensus within the academic community and local situations, like data availability. To enhance the transparency of evaluation, guidelines emphasize the reproducibility of data and analysis result. That is, all evaluation processes are required to be described in enough detail to be replicated by reviewers. With growing experience and theoretical development in this area, HIRA guidelines will be revised periodically.

In vitro Evaluation of Phalaris minor Seeds as Livestock Feed

  • The nutritional worth of Phalaris minor seeds was assessed in comparison to conventional cereal grains like maize and wheat. P. minor seeds had higher total ash and cell wall constituents as compared to wheat and maize grains. The CP content of P. minor was comparable to wheat grains but higher than maize grains. The in vitro studies revealed that the net gas production and availability of ME from P. minor was comparable to that of maize but the digestibility of nutrients was significantly (p<0.05) lower than that of conventional cereal grains. The digestion kinetic parameters for DM and CP revealed that P. minor had the highest (p<0.05) soluble fraction (a) followed by wheat and maize. Reverse trend was observed for insoluble but potentially degradable fraction (b). The effective and true DM and CP degradability was significantly (p<0.05) higher in wheat grains followed by that in P. minor and maize grains. The digestibility of OM and NDF was not affected by replacing cereal grains in concentrate mixture with P. minor seeds up to 75 per cent level. But the availability of ME from concentrate mixtures was comparable to control only up to 50% level of replacement. Replacement of cereal grains with P. minor did not affect the rapidly soluble fraction and insoluble but potentially degradable fraction of concentrate mixture containing P. minor up to 75 per cent, but it was depressed significantly at 100% replacement level. The effective and true degradability of DM of concentrate mixtures containing P. minor from 50 to 100 per cent was comparable to that of conventional concentrate mixture (CCM). The wheat based concentrate mixtures showed higher net gas production (208 vs. 201 ml/g DM/24 h), digestibility of nutrients and ME availability (9.64 vs. 9.54 MJ/kg DM) as compared to maize based concentrate mixture. The wheat based concentrate mixture had significantly (p<0.05) higher rumen undegradable fraction and effective degradability. The data conclusively revealed that conventional cereal grains could be replaced with P.minor seeds up to 75 per cent without affecting the availability of nutrients.

우리나라 공공도서관의 이용자만족도에 관한 연구: 2010 공공도서관 운영 평가 이용자만족도 조사 결과를 중심으로 (A Study on the User Satisfaction of Public Library Users in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 전국 공공도서관 이용자를 대상으로 이용자만족도 조사를 실시한 후, 현재 우리나라 공공도서관의 서비스가 이용자의 만족을 얼마나 성취하고 있는 가를 분석하고, 도서관의 서비스별 품질을 나타내는 세부항목별 요인들이 도서관의 전반적 만족도에 미치는 영향관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 이용자만족도 지표는 공공도서관에 대해 이용자들이 지각하는 도서관의 전반적인 품질을 측정할 수 있도록 설계하였으며, 6개 변인(장서, 직원, 시설, 프로그램, 온라인서비스, 정보제공정도)으로 구성되었다. 분석결과 도서관 전체 이용자만족도는 정보제공정도, 시설, 직원 변인이 높게 나타난 반면, 온라인서비스 및 프로그램 변인은 상대적으로 낮은 만족도를 보여주었다. 또한 도서관의 서비스별 품질 중 장서, 직원, 시설, 프로그램, 온라인서비스, 정보제공정도 전체 요인이 전반적 만족도에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 그 중에서 정보제공정도와 시설, 장서 요인 순으로 큰 영향력을 발휘하는 것으로 파악되었다.

Failure Cost와 Life Cycle Cost를 고려한 연속시스템에 대한 최적 장치 선택에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Equipment Selection of Series Systems using Life Cycle Cost and Failure Cost)

  • In this study, the required life cycle cost is evaluated in consideration of the equipment's availability during its lift cycle. In order to meet the maximum availability required by the process, the failure cost and life cycle cost is assessed The optimal equipment selection method is presented according to the analysis of the failure cost and life cycle cost. For the systems in which equipments are connected serially, the optimal equipments are selected by minimizing the life cycle cost and satisfying the required system availability goal. In addition, the selection methods and lift cycle cost are analyzed according to the cost variation of the equipment. By using the life cycle evaluation procedure, the failure cost and maintenance cost needed during the life cycle of the equipment can be presented.

실시간 고장포용 생산시스템의 적정 성능 유지를 위한 최적 설계 기법에 관한 연구 (Determination of the profit-maximizing configuration for the modular cell manufacturing system using stochastic process)

  • In this paper, the analytical appproaches are presented for jointly determining the profit-miximizing configuration of the fault-tolerance real time modular cell manufacturing system. The transient(time-dependent) analysis of Markovian models is firstly applied to modular cell manufacturing system from a performability viewpoint whose modeling advantage lies in its ability to express the performance that truly matters - the user's perception of it - as well as various performance measures compositely in the context of application. The modular cells are modeled with hybrid decomposition method and then availability measures such as instantaneous availability, interval availability, expected cumulative operational time are evaluated as special cases of performability. In addition to this evaluation, sensitivity analysis of the entire manufacturing system as well as each machining cell is performed, from which the time of a major repair policy and the optimal configuration among the alternative configurations of the system can be determined. Secondly, the recovery policies from the machine failures by computing the minimal number of redundant machines and also from the task failures by computing the minimum number of tasks equipped with detection schemes of task failure and reworked upon failure detection, to meet the timing requirements are optimized. Some numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the work.
