고속전철용 보조전력변환장치 1,2군 동시 기동 (Simultaneous operation of two group of Auxiliary Block for Korean High Speed Train)

  • Power Car PC1 and PC2 of Korean high speed train have a auxiliary block which consists of two PWM converter respectively. If a auxiliary block happens a critical failure, the other supplies power to full load of train. In this case, a stability of auxiliary block reduces by a increasing load. For increasing a stability of auxiliary block and train system, a auxiliary block consists of two group four PWM converter which operates simultaneously. If a group of a auxiliary block happens a critical failure, the other supplies power to load of a auxiliary block. This paper describes a method for simultaneous movement of auxiliary block which consists of two group four PWM converter.

  • As the on-board electric devices determine the performances of vehicles, production of reliable devices is important. To keep the reliability of devices constant, management of performance evaluation of the on-board devices is crucial. Because temperature has a serious effect on failures of the components of the devices, its measurement is the first step for good management. In this study, we described performance characteristics of domestic auxiliary block developed through G7 project. We measured the performances of auxiliary block during test running by the developed on-line measurement system. After we save the input real-time data from each signal of Korean High Speed Train through the network line, we can acquire necessary information through post-processing program. We verify the motor block characteristics of Korean High Speed Train by this system.

  • Power factor and harmonics are increasingly important for high speed train auxiliary block. This paper presents experimental results of the power factor and harmonic performance of two parallel PWM circuits under various supply and load conditions. For reducing harmonics the harmonic content is eliminated by the phase shift between two converters switching phase. Experimental results show the usefulness of the proposed method and applicability to PWM converter in auxiliary block of high speed train.

  • For the research, we developed the hardware and software of the measurement system for on-line test and evaluation. The software controls the hardware of the measurement data and acts as a interface between users and the system hardware. In this paper, we studied performances of the auxiliary block for high-speed railway vehicle. In order to performance these works, the conversion system was developed. Using this system, we obtained the important results, such as voltage values for the battery charger and auxiliary block. Also, we diagnosed the faults and performed the evaluation for auxiliary block using the measurement system and data.

  • In this paper, as the first step to assess and enhance the reliability of Korea High Speed Train, auxiliary power system is selected and reliability analysis is carried out. The auxiliary power system is classified into subsystems and functional analysis is conducted. Reliability block diagrams are drawn and reliability parametric analysis is performed. Analysis results show that the reliability of auxiliary power system depends on critical items. To grow the system reliability, activities should be concentrated on improvement of critical items.

화상통신에서의 오류전파 제어를 위한 보조모션벡터 코딩 기법 (Exploitation of Auxiliary Motion Vector in Video Coding for Robust Transmission over Internet)

  • 인터넷을 통해 동영상을 전송할 때, 네트워크의 상태에 따라 패킷 손실이 발생할 수 있다. 패킷 손실이 발생하면 해당 프레임 뿐 아니라, 그 프레임을 참조하는 다른 프레임의 화질에도 영향을 미치는 오류전파가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 전송 중 패킷 손실로 인한 오류전파를 최소화하기 위한 부호화 기법인 AMV(Auxiliary Motion Vector)를 제안한다. AMV 기법에서 부호기는 한 개의 매크로블록을 압축하기 위해 여러 프레임과의 움직임 예측을 수행한 후, 상위 두 개의 매칭블록을 선택한다. 두 블록 중 압축 대상 매크로블록과 더 유사한 블록을 움직임 보상에 이용하며 이 블록을 참조블록 또는 기본블록이라 한다. 나머지 블록을 보조블록이라 하며 참조블록이 손실된 경우 복호기가 참조블록의 대체용으로 이용한다. 보조블록의 정보는 압축된 매크로블록의 헤더에 블록의 모션벡터와 프레임 번호를 삽입함으로써 전송된다. 이 기법은 다른 기법에 비해 압축에 이용되는 참조블록의 수를 최소화하고 보조블록을 이용하여 오류를 요구함으로써 오류전파가 발생하는 범위와 그 강도를 줄이는 장점이 있다. 제안된 기법의 코덱을 구현하기 위해 H.263 표준 소스를 수정하였으며, 다양한 패킷 손실율의 트레이스를 생성하기 위해 시뮬레이션 툴인 NS-2를 이용하였다. 실험 결과 제안된 기법은 전체적으로 H.253 표준에 비하여 높은 성능을 나타냈으며 특히 화면의 변화가 적은 경우 패킷 손실율이 높을수록, 변화가 심한 경우 패킷 손실율이 낮을수록 높은 성능을 나타내었다.

  • This paper presents a novel prototype of an active auxiliary quasi-resonant snubber(Auxiliary Quasi-Resonant Commutation Block-Link; ARCB)-assisted three phase voltage source soft switching space voltage vector modulated PFC rectifier, which uses Zero Voltage Soft Switching (ZVS) commutation. The operating principles of this digitally-controlled three phase soft switching PWM-PFC rectifier system with an instantaneous power feedback scheme are illustrated and its steady-state performance is evaluated using computer-aided simulation analysis.

  • Electrical Power supply System conditions of korea high speed train consists of main transformer, four AC-DC PWM converter of Auxiliary Block, Battery Charger in Power Car and Trailer Car, Trailer Inverter, Auxiliary inverter. Main transformer, at nominal voltage of 25kv supplied to secondary winding nominal output Voltage 383Vac, The Auxiliary block consists of AC-DC converters for generating 670VDC power, Auxiliary inverters for ventilation and air compressor, Trailer car inverter provide three phase power supplies at 440Vac for air conditioning and heating. The Battery charger Trailer and Power car supplies 72VDC all necessary equipment to energize the trainset equipment and suppy essential control. This Paper introduces the combined test results of the power supply system for korea high speed train. The main purpose of this combined test is to verify the performance of the power supply system that is designed to operate up to full load test.
