This paper proposes a soft-switching bidirectional dc-dc converter (BDC) with an auxiliary circuit. The proposed BDC can achieve the zero-voltage switching (ZVS) using an auxiliary circuit in the buck and boost operations. The auxiliary circuit supplies optimal energy for the ZVS operation of the main switches. The auxiliary circuit consists of a resonant inductor, a back-to-back switch and two capacitors. A small-sized resonant inductor and an auxiliary switch with a low-rated voltage can be used in the auxiliary circuit. Zero-current switching (ZCS) turn-on and turn-off of the auxiliary switches are possible. The proposed soft-switching scheme has a look-up table for optimal switching of the auxiliary switches. The proposed strategy properly adjusts the turn-on time of the auxiliary switch according to the load current. The proposed BDC is verified by the results of PSIM simulations and experiments on a 3-kW ZVS BDC system.

This study aims to analyze and compare the structures of auxiliary tables regarding places - for example, Korea using several decimal classification systems such as DDC, UDC, KDC and NDC. For each auxiliary table, the codes were described in detail and the special characteristics were discussed. The common characteristics and the different aspects of different decimal classification systems were investigated as well as divisions of Korea in Korean Wikipedia and an administrative district classification system. This study suggests a new basic summary for the expansion of codes of Korea in auxiliary table in DDC with its principles and options and it will be useful for revising process of many decimal classification systems.

The dynamic characterization of a three-story auxiliary building in a nuclear power plant (NPP) constructed with a monolithic reinforced concrete shear wall is investigated in this study. The shear wall is subjected to a joint-research, round-robin analysis organized by the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute, South Korea, to predict seismic responses of that auxiliary building in NPP through a shake table test. Five different intensity measures of the base excitation are applied to the shaking table test to get the acceleration responses from the different building locations for one horizontal direction (front-back). Simultaneously to understand the global damage scenario of the structure, a frequency search test is conducted after each excitation. The primary motivation of this study is to develop a nonlinear numerical model considering the multi-layered shell element and compare it with the test result to validate through the modal parameter identification and floor responses. In addition, the acceleration amplification factor is evaluated to judge the dynamic behavior of the shear wall with the existing standard, thus providing theoretical support for engineering practice.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the area table of twenty editions of the DDC in order to identify what major changes have been made chronologically. The summaries about which were discussed according to the edition order about the change processes of the most extensive area table of the DDC auxiliary table are as follows. 1. It is from the 17th edition that area table appeared as a special auxiliary table in DDC for the first time and the method of classifying areas like from 930 to 999 which is regional history in history class was taken before the introduction of independent area table. 2. The entry numbers in which the area table was applied increased continuously until the 18th edition but the applied entry number was rather decreased in the 20th edition especially the number was mainly decreased in history class, this is the result of the fact that the entry was classified by area table without enumerating each regional history in history class except for the basic area since the 17th edition but recently at least the area of over national unit according to the necessity of enumerating the entry in regional history within history class. 3. The relocation or revision of area table was made according to the literary warrant of the relevant area by period political and administrative conditions and the request of related organization or classifiers of the area rather than by the topographical features therefore the revision was made chiefly about the highly interested Europe Northern America especially the United States. 4. The entry numbers which were expanded according to area indicate that gradual improvement for the international feature as the revision of edition is repeated is made but because of the expansion of Northern America, especially the United States, regional disproportion is represented by the occupation of 56% in the entire entry numbers of the United States in case of the 20th edition. Lastly, the reasonable reform plans of area table will have to be groped on the basis of the results of analysis above and the consideration about the problems in the development of area table of DDC and the other main classification systems.

This study is to analyze and suggest the KDC's facet structure. KDC is using the Decimal Classification's facet structure. New suggestions are : Clearly use standard subdivisions and add instruction like 'Add to base number $\~$ notation $\~$ from table $\~$' : auxiliary tables contents are need to revise and expand to make a add table found in schedules and provide numbers to be added to designated schedules numbers are necessary.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate of the usefulness and to develop new auxiliary equipment that can bending angle of the bone of the knee various depending on the thickness of the thigh of the human. The subjects agreed for research purposes and were selected from normal person who do not have past knee-related diseases and grouped thin group A and thick group B for the thigh. We set in order to obtain images in the axial direction of the bones of the knee, $35^{\circ}$ to increase by $5^{\circ}$ angle of knee flexion, $45^{\circ}$, to $55^{\circ}$, and we performed combinations of 9 tests by incident angle X-ray per each angle, $40^{\circ}$, $50^{\circ}$ and $60^{\circ}$. As a result, we have developed an Merchant auxillary equipment of X-ray table integral type in radiographic images which was easy to use and could take images of various integral knee joint angles adjusting different body types. Using the auxiliary equipment, in the case of X-ray incident angle $50^{\circ}$ and $60^{\circ}$ with the knee flexion angle of $40^{\circ}$ in group A, and in group B, Knee flexion angle of $45^{\circ}$ and $35^{\circ}$, the X-ray incident angle at $60^{\circ}$, excellent images were derived. Future, it would be very useful in the examination of patients with a variety of body types.

KDC(Korea Decimal Classification), which is representative literature classification scheme in Korea, was revised and published in 1996. The purpose of this paper is to suggest a reform measure after detecting out issues and problems associated with the KDC 4th ed. through the result of lecture. The outline of suggestions are as follows : (1) There are not all items of auxiliary tables in relative index. (2) Auxiliary table 2 (Geographic Areas) is not detailed. (3) The manual for the shake of efficient usage is nonexistent and notes are poor in content. (4) Sufficient minimax and alternatives must be setted up for efficiency usage. (5) Some parts of the main schedule are disorder and not logical.

Time(Period table) is the chronological factor in a subject. Classification schemes are using the period tables for represent the time. CC and UDC's common auxiliary of time tables are consistence and clear. DDC and KDC are using the different way, though the notation is complicated.
