  • Today recycling has been one of the most important Issues In industry as it is required to save the limited amount of natural resources and to keep the environment green. In spite of many efforts to increase recycling rate in industry, however, the practical solutions are very limited. The difficulties are caused by the existence of many parts made of diverse materials and their inevitably complicated assembly structures to satisfy different needs. This paper represents a study on the disassembly sequence generator system for parts recycling. With disassembly costs and revenues, the optimum disassembly sequence can be found with a linear programming.

밀폐공간에 놓인 전자 칩의 열발산에 복사 열전달이 미치는 영향 (An effect of Radiation Heat Transfer on the Thermal Dissipation from the Electronic Chip in an Enclosure)

  • Electronic components in an enclosure have been investigated to prevent undesired thermal problems. The electronic devices, such as ECUs of automotive engines, are operated under the contaminated environments, so that they rely on the passive cooling without any fluid-driving methods. Therefore the radiation heat dissipation plays more important role than the conduction and convection heat transfer. Hence their combined heat dissipation phenomena have been simulated by a numerical model to reveal the effects of supplied heat flux, emissivity of material, geometry of enclosure, charging gas and pressure. The result showed that the radiation had a significant effect on the heat dissipation of module in an enclosure, and some space above the module should be reserved to prevent its thermal problem. In addition, the higher thermal conductivity and pressure of gas in an enclosure could be necessary to improve the thermal dissipation from the electronic devices.

Effect of Temperature and Humidity on the Performance Factors of a 15-W Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell

  • Fuel cells are one of the renewable energy sources that have sparked a lot of scientific attention for solving problems related to the energy crisis and environmental pollution. One of the most crucial subjects concerning the utilization of fuel cells is modeling. Therefore, an analytical steady-state and dynamic fuel cell model was described in this study. The parameter for the identification process was investigated, and the MATLAB/Simulink implementation was demonstrated. A 15-W proton exchange membrane fuel cell was used to apply the suggested modeling methodology. Comparing experimental and simulation findings indicated that the model error was constrained to 3%. This study showed that temperature and humidity affect fuel cell performance.

  • The purpose of this research is to discuss the development history and future strategy of Geely Automobile Group Co., Ltd. Founded in 1997, Geely Automotive Group has grown from a small workshop to one of China's leading automakers after nearly three decades of development.This paper first reviews the development of Geely Automobile, from the initial small-scale production to the current global layout and diversified product line. Secondly, it analyzes the challenges and opportunities faced by Geely Automobile, including the intensification of market competition and the changing demand for technological innovation.And put forward the future development strategy of Geely Automobile, including improving the quality of products, expanding the international market and promoting the development of new energy vehicles. By analyzing the development history and future strategy of Geely Automobile Group Co., Ltd., we can better understand the company's position and future development direction in China's automobile industry.

자율주행 자동차 산업의 미래 시나리오 예측 연구 (A study of future scenario forecasting of autonomous vehicle industry)

  • 최근 급격한 변화를 겪고 있는 자율주행 자동차 분야의 미래 기술 및 시장 전망 예측에 대한 요구와 관심이 집중되고 있다. 자동차 산업의 특성상, 복합적 요인의 상관관계가 미치는 영향력이 크고 요인 간의 복잡도가 높으므로, 체계적인 미래 예측 방법론 적용을 통한 미래 전망분석 및 전략 수립이 시급하다. 본 연구에서는 자동차 분야에 적합한 미래 예측 방법론 중 필드 변칙 완화기법(Field Anomaly Relaxation)과 다중관점 개념 기법(Multiple Perspective Concept)을 복합적으로 적용하여, 자율주행 자동차 분야의 핵심기술 및 산업 동향에 관한 미래 시나리오들을 개발하여 실증하였다. 도출된 3개의 시나리오는 전문가 평가 체크리스트를 통하여 타당성을 검증하였다. 본 연구 결과는 자율주행 자동차 산업과 같은 다양한 변동성이 존재하는 분야의 미래 예측 방법 중 한 가지로 적용될 수 있다는 점에 의의가 있다.

  • According to ISO 26262 (the international standard on functional safety for automotive industry), the functional safety should be considered during the whole automotive systems life cycle from the design phase throughout the production phase. In order to satisfy the standard, the automotive and related industry needs to take appropriate actions while carrying out a variety of development activities. This paper presents an approach to coping with the standard. Analyzing the standard indicates that the safety issues of the automotive systems should be handled with a system's view whereas the conventional approach to solving the issues has been practiced with focus on the component's level. The aforementioned system's view implies that the functional safety shall be incorporated in the system design from both the system's life-cycle view and the hierarchical view for the structure. In light of this, the systems engineering framework can be quite appropriate in the functional safety development and thus has been taken in this paper as a problem solving approach. Of various design issues, the analysis and verification of the safety requirements for functional safety is a key study subject of the paper. Note, in particular, that the conventional FMEA (failure mode effects analysis) and FTA (fault tree analysis) methods seem to be partly relying on the insufficient experience and knowledge of the engineers. To improve this, a systematic method is studied here and the result is applied in the design of an ABS braking system as a case study.

  • 본 논문은 세계 자동차산업을 대상으로 2015년판 OECD-TIVA 자료 분석을 통해 구축된 수출품의 해외조달 부가가치 네트워크 특성을 사회네트워크 기법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 그 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 1995-2011년 기간 동안에 생산공정 분업은 EU, NAFTA와 같은 역내 경제블록에 한정된 것이 아니라 세계적인 차원으로 심화되었다. 둘째, 수출품의 부가가치 해외조달 네트워크는 위계적이고 공간적으로 집중되고 평균거리가 짧아지는 좁은 세상 네트워크의 특성들을 보여주었다. 셋째, 자동차산업 글로벌 가치사슬에서 주요 공급자는 소수의 국가들에 불과하지만 중간재의 사용자는 다수의 국가들이다. 가장 핵심적인 해외 부가가치의 공급자들인 미국, 독일, 중국 간에 특징적인 차이가 존재한다. 생산공정 분업이 글로벌 수준에서 전개된 것은 사실이지만 그 이면에 중심과 주변, 국내와 외국자본의 이분법의 긴장이 놓여 있다.

SnO2를 이용한 CO 및 NOx 가스 감지 센서 제작 및 특성 연구 (Fabrication and Evaluation of the SnO2 Based Gas Sensor for CO and NOx Detection)

  • In this paper, we fabricated and evaluated the gas sensor for the detection of CO gas and $NO_X$ gas among the vehicle exhaust emission gasses. The $SnO_2$ (tin dioxide) layer is used as the detection material, and the thin-film type and the nano-fiber type layers are deposited with various thicknesses using sputtering method and electro spinning method, respectively. The experiments are performed in the chamber where the gas concentration is controlled with mass flow controller. The fabricated devices are applied to the CO and $NO_X$ gas, where the device with the thinner $SnO_2$ layer shows better sensitivity. The nano-fiber has the larger surface area, and the shorter response time and recovery time are obtained. From the experimental results, both types of gas sensors successfully detect CO and $NO_X$ gases, which can be applied to measure those gases from the vehicle emissions.

중형 차량의 외부 유동특성에 관한 연구 (Investigation of Aerodynamic Characteristics of a Medium-Size Vehicle)

  • Computer simulation of the air flow over an automotive vehicle is now becoming a routine process in automotive industry to assess the aerodynamic characteristics of a medium-size vehicle such as $C_d\;and\;C_1$ and aslo to investigate the possibility of improving aerodynamic performance of the vehicle as a preliminary design for the production line. Mainly due to its contribution in saving time and cost in the development of new cars, computer simulation of the air flow over a vehicle is usually done well before a production car is introduced to the market and in gaining more and more attention as powerful computer resources are getting readily available nowadays. To aerodynamically design a car is mainly related with reducing a drag coefficient of car. A well designed car usually has a $C_d$ value in the range of $0.3{\sim}0.4$. It is understandable that automotive industry is rushing to reduce a drag coefficient as reducing even a small fraction of the $C_d$ value can have an enormous overall impact on many areas. Actually, the present research model was able to achieve a $C_d$ value in the range of $0.3{\sim}0.36$ for flow velocities of $60km/h{\sim}100km/h$ by strategically removing the possible factor hazardous to lower $C_d$ value. Prediction of the medium-size vehicle aerodynamics using CFD was performed when an actual car model was in the development stage and three-dimensional modeling was also performed to optimize it as the best model in terms of the best aerodynamic performance.
