  • Many products related to automobile and airplane industry have been manufactured by semi-solid forging. In this paper finite element analysis of product by combined extrusion in semi-solid state was performed and its experimental verification using A356 was conducted. distribution of solid fraction was analyzed and compared with the experimental microstructure in the product. In addition, distribution of temperature in the product was analysed by finite element method.

  • In this paper, a development of the control system for the milling machine which is used to cut teeth of the automibile keys is presented as an example of the industry-university cooperation. The machine is controlled by a computer and a PLC. The control of the servo motors are accomplished by the computer and mechanical sequences are by PLC. This machine is capable of cutting key teeth up to the accuracy of 10 microns.

  • An Order Management System related to press die fabrication in automobile industry are developed in this research. This system is constructed by CORBA and XML to avoid disorder from data integration. Because CORBA can integrate diverse applications within distributed heterogeneous environments and XML can be made use of data exchange format, The developed system is available on almost any hardware platforms, operation system environments, and programming languages.

  • This paper aims to find out the R&D personnel management strategies which enhance the productivity of researchers. The R&D personnel management practices are examined focusing on career development and compensation scheme. As proxies for higher motivation and/or productivity, job satisfaction and propensity to leave of researchers are analyzed to evaluate the management practices. Using the survey data from researchers in the Korean automobile industry. this paper suggests the management strategies to raise job satisfaction and thus lower propensity to leave of R&D personnel.

  • Quality estimation of the weld has been one of the important issues in RSW which is a main process of the sheet metal fabrication in auto-body industry. It was well known that among the various welding process variables, dynamic resistance has a close relation with nugget formation. In this study, a new quality estimation algorithm is developed with the primary dynamic resistance measured at welding machine timer. For this, Back propagation algorithm of neural network is used.

  • This study examines the wearing conditions of working clothes according to the working environment and working processes at machinery, automobile, shipbuilding industry sites. It also investigates the relationship between the wearing sense of working clothes and the overall comfort according to work processes. The hazardous working environment was high in the order of the shipbuilding industry, machinery, and automobiles. The findings on the harmful overall work environmental factors were the noise, heavy dust, and noxious fumes, respectively. In general, the satisfaction with the wearing performance of working clothes was low especially with regard to sweat absorbency, sweat permeability, body protection and covering, and the work motion suitability. In respect of the correlation between the overall comfort and the wearing sense of working clothes, the satisfaction was decreased in the order of movement comfort, sensual comfort, and physiological comfort.

  • 자동차 산업은 자동차에 소요되는 2만여가지 이상의 부품의 다양한 종류만큼 시스템적인 표준화가 매우 어려운 산업이다. 이미 완성차업계는 SAP과 같은 글로벌 ERP 패키지를 사용하고 있으며, 기준 정보관리 표준을 만들어 사용하고 있지만, 수많은 부품 공급사들은 기준체계가 없거나, 주먹구구식의 체계로 인해 PDM, ERP, MES등 시스템 도입 및 활용에 가장큰 장애사항이 되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 국내 자동차 완성차 및 관련부품산업의 실질적인 표준 품번 체계가 통합된 표준 모델을 만들고, 표준화를 위한 지침서를 작성하기 위하여 완성차업계 및 타 산업군 사례기업의 표준체계를 조사하고, 자동차 부품회사를 샘플링하여 실증적으로 연구하여, 유의미코드와 무의미 일련번호의 합리적인 적용 기준을 제시함으로써 국내 자동차 관련 산업의 정보화에 필수적인 기준정보 관리수준의 표준화 체계를 제안한다.

협동로봇 시장 진출 성공요인 분석 (Analysis of Factors for the Success in Entry into Cooperation Robot Market)

  • Robot refers to machines that recognize the external environment and assess the given situations in order to operate autonomously by imitating the manner in which humans behave. Although Korea still lacks global competitiveness, Korea, as the $4^{th}$ ranked robot manufacturing country in the world, is currently expanding the domains of robots from application in manufacturing to application in service provision. Accordingly, this study aims to analyze the factors for the success in entry into the cooperation robot market among various robotic markets in accordance with the literary research method in consideration for the importance of robot industry that could determine the future national competitiveness. The result of the analysis of the factors for the success in entry into the cooperation robot market, shows that factors including analysis of the trends in manufacturing robot market, strategy for benchmarking of the leading cooperation robot companies, activation of small and medium enterprise-centered cooperation robotic industry, excavation of demands for cooperation robots with focus on automobile, semiconductor and IT industries, utilization of the opportunities provided by government's robotic industry policies and standardization of cooperation robot components, etc. determine whether one will succeed in the market or not. Furthermore, it is believed that fortification of competitiveness of the manufacturing sector through the powerful policy support for the robotic industry at government level and policies on cultivation of new growth engine through specialization of the robotic areas closely related to daily life must be implemented concurrently because it is forecasted that competitiveness in robotics technology will become the criterion for national competitiveness in the future.

자동차 항만의 서비스 품질요인이 고객만족 및 충성도에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구: 평택항 자동차부두를 중심으로 (A Study on the Effect of Automobile Port's Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty: Focusing on the Pyeong-taek Automobile Port)

  • 본 연구는 자동차항만의 서비스 경쟁력 강화방안을 도출하기 위하여 자동차항만 서비스 품질의 척도를 추출하여 자동차항만 서비스 품질이 고객만족에 미치는 영향력과 고객만족도가 고객 충성도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 서비스품질 분석을 위해 유형성, 신뢰성, 반응성, 확신성, 공감성 등 5가지 변수를 측정도구로 이용하여 자동차 항만의 특성에 따라 서비스품질 요인을 도출하고자 했다. 분석방법으로는 설문조사 설문문항을 통해서 서비스품질요인 척도를 도출하고 개념타당성을 검증하기 위해 탐색적요인분석, 수렴타당성 검증을 위해 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰성 확보를 위해 cronbach's ${\alpha}$계수를 활용하여 분석하였다. 품질요인들 사이의 관계성 분석을 위해 상관관계분석을 그리고 서비스 구매자와 제공자 두 집단간의 서비스 품질요인이 고객만족에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 분석결과 공감성 요인이 자동차항만 고객 만족에 가장 큰 영향력을 주는 품질 요인이었으며 고객 만족도를 높이기 위해서는 첫째, 직원교육을 통해 고객에 대한 배려, 고객의 이익을 우선시 하는 태도 등 서비스 마인드를 높이는 방안이 필요하고 둘째, 고객 필요시 항만서비스 및 탄력적인 하역시간 운영이 필요하고. 마지막으로 정보시스템을 통한 물류업무지원과 노사화합을 통해서 자동차 항만의 공감성을 높일 수 있는 방안이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

특허정보를 활용한 분산형 에너지 기술융합 네트워크 분석 : 대구지역을 중심으로 (Network Analysis of Technology Convergence on Decentralized Energy by Using Patent Information : Focused on Daegu City Area)

  • The objective of this study is to investigate patent trends of Daegu city which tries to introduce environment friendly energy and to develop new technology or new industry sprung from technology convergence on smart decentralized energy technology and other technologies. After applying network analysis to corresponding groups of technology or industry convergence, strategy for future energy convergence industry is provided. Patent data applied in Daegu city area are used to obtain research goal. The technology which contains several IPC codes (IPC Co-occurrence) is considered as a convergence technology. Path finder network analysis is used for visualizing and grouping by using IPC codes. The analysis results categorized 13 groups in energy convergence industry and reclassified them into 3 cluster groups (Smart Energy Product Production Technology Group, Smart Energy Convergence Supply Technology Group, Smart Energy Indirect Application Technology Group) considering the technical characteristics and policy direction. Also, energy industry has evolved rapidly by technological convergence with other industries. Especially, it has been converged with IT industry, and there is a trend that energy industry will be converged with service industry and manufacturing industry such as textile, automobile parts, mechanics, and logistics by employing infrastructure as well as network. Based on the research results on core patent technology, convergence technology and inter-industry analysis, the direction of core technology research and development as well as evolution on decentralized energy industry is identified. By using research design and methodology in this study, the trend of convergence technology is investigated based on objective data (patent data). Above all, we can easily confirm the core technology in the local industry by analyzing the industrial competitiveness in the macro level. Based on this, we can identify convergence industry and technology by performing the technological convergence analysis in the micro level.
