  • A feeding system is a key component in manufacturing packing boxes such as printing, slotting and gluing. The role of the feeding system is to feed corrugate cardboards which is usually tick and large. So, a special method is necessary to feed corrugate cardboards. This paper suggests a concept and an automatic feeding machine to feed corrugated cardboards using TRIZ, the theory of inventive problem solving. The automatic feeding machine consists of units to regulate the machine according to length and width of corrugated cardboards, a feeding part with a plurality of small rollers, and a sucking part which intensify frictional force between rollers and the lowest feeding cardboard. In particular, the feeding part is composed of an up-and-down motion plate with holes to suck the lowest corrugated cardboard as well as small rolling rollers after stopping in a moment. Thus this machine does not sensitive to size of corrugated cardboards and also can keep feeding accuracy during feeding fast.

  • In the general manual feeder of an LED lighting assembly system, many workers are needed to supply parts to the main conveyor. The automatic feeder for modern automation lighting assembly systems consists of a completely automated feeding system and a magazine system that supplies the parts automatically. A standardized LED panel and diffusion cover is stacked in the cartridge of the magazine system. The structural safety of the automatic feeding system with regard to handling the load from the panels and covers stored in the cartridge should be guaranteed. LED convergency lighting modules are assembled using two LED panels and one diffusion cover in an automatic feeder. In this study, the structural safety and fatigue life of the automatic feeder and magazine were analyzed by considering the load generated in the automatically assembled LED convergency lighting system. In addition, the dynamic behavior of each auto-feeding system and magazine delivery system was visualized, and the working process was evaluated via dynamic simulation using a virtual engineering method. A tack time table for automatic feeding systems was derived by developing a virtual prototype.

고속이송계의 열변형오차 자동보정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Automatic Compensation of Thermal Deformation Error for High Speed Feeding System)

  • In the recent years, development of machine tool with high speed feeding system have brought a rapid increase in productivity. Practically, thermal deformation problem due to high speed is, however, become a large obstacle to realize high precision machining. In this study, therefore, the construction of automatic error compensation system to control thermal deformation in high speed feeding system with real time is proposed. To attain this purpose, high speed feeding system with feeding speed 60mm/min is developed and experimental equation for relationship between thermal deformation and temperature of ball screw shaft using multiple regression analysis is established. Furthermore, in order to analyze thermal deformation error, compensation coefficient is determined and thermal deformation experiments is carried out. From obtained results, it is confirmed that automatic error compensation system constructed in this study is able to control thermal deformation error within $15{\sim}20{\mu}m$.

  • This paper is concerned on kinematic analysis and simulation of an automatic feeding mechanism subjected by the motion of a curvilinear inverse can. The curvilinear cam is rotated by positioning a translating roller and the automatic feeding mechanism is moved to the sliding position by the motion of a campin fixed on the curvilinear cam. The curvilinear cam consists of two arcs of circles and two straight lines. The modular approach is used for the kinematic analysis of the feeding mechanism.   • This paper is concerned on kinematic analysis and simulation of an automatic feeding mechanism subjected by the motion of a curvilinear inverse cam. The main objection is the development of computer-aided design (CAD) program for simulating the motion of the cam-feeding mechanism using computer-graphics. A computer program CACAFS (Computer-Aided Cam and Automatic Feeding System) is independent of computer hardware used. The program is also interactive using a menu-selection technique. As the second part of the paper for the motion simulation of the cam-feeding system, this paper discusses the state-of-art for CAD. The first part of the paper presents the algorithm to simulate the notion of the cam-feeding mechanism.

  • A neutral section is installed around feeding substation(SS) and sectioning post(SP) that M phase and T phase are isolated in AC feeding system. 육상양식장용 자동 먹이 공급 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A study on the development of automatic feeding system in an inland aquafarm)

  • 오늘날 해안의 인구 증가와 산업화로 인하여 해안의 수질오염이 날로 증가하고 있으며, 이로 인한 생태계가 파괴됨으로써 수산물 양식업에 많은 문제를 발생시키고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 해상 양식장이 육상 양식장으로 이동하고 있다. 본 논문은 육상 양식장에서의 자동 먹이 공급 시스템에 관하여 설명하고자 한다. 현재의 자동 먹이 공급 장치는 먹이양의 정확도가 떨어지고 먹이 공급 모터에 의해 먹이가 부서지는 단점을 지닌다. 그러나 제안하는 시스템은 현재의 시스템과 비교했을 때 로드 셀과 밸브의 조합을 사용하여 제어함으로써 높은 정확도를 가지고 먹이를 공급할 수 있으며, 먹이를 육상 양식 수조에 안전하게 공급할 수 있다. 실제 시스템을 통한 실험을 수행함으로써 모든 상황에서 육상 양식장 수조에 먹이를 공급할 수 있음을 입증한다.
