  • It is a small injection molding machine for table top considering the material heating mechanism and the design and structure stability by securing the mechanism that compresses the inside of the material heating tube by using the electric actuator and by providing space between the body and the material heating tube to reduce heat loss Develop body. An electric actuator suitable for applying pressure to the inside of a material heating tube is a mechanical system composed of a rigid structure. Since a large force is repeatedly applied to the electric actuator and the push rod, the interaction between the moving parts and the dynamic Maximum stress through analysis and prediction of fatigue life of critical parts The pushrod reflects the structural analysis results of the electric actuator and the push rod, and pushes the inside of the material heating tube by the push rod to inject the molten material from the nozzle into the mold. The pushrod operates by the operation of the electric actuator. The material heated by the coil heater is ejected through the nozzle by the pressure of the material heating tube, and the material heating tube and the nozzle are also lowered at the same time as the push rod is lowered, so that the material is closely adhered to the mold. We want to study the completion of the injection.

Evaluation of Formability Dependent on the Location of Injection Gate of Vertical Machining Center ATC Tool Port Using Injection Molding Analysis (사출성형해석을 이용한 수직머시닝센터 ATC 툴 포트의 사출 게이트 위치에 따른 성형성 평가)

  • Injection molding is a manufacturing method of melting the polymer resin and injecting it into a mold to molding it into the desired form. Due to the short molding time and outstanding formability, complex products can be shaped with high precision and it is the most widely used polymer molding method. However, there may be areas that are not filled depending on the location of the injection gate where polymer resin is injected. Formability is determined by deformation and surface precision due to the impact of residual stress after molding. Hence, choosing the location of the injection gate is very important and molding analysis of injection molding is essential to reduce the cost of the mold. This study evaluated the injection formability based on the location of the injection gate of the vertical machining center ATC tool port using injection molding analysis and the results were compared and analyzed. Injection molding analysis was conducted on filling, packing, and deformation according to the location of the gate of the ATC tool port. From each injection gate location, filling time, pressure, and maximum deformation were compared. At gate 2, conditions of molding time and the location of the gate were far superior in production and quality. Gate 2 produced the smallest deformation of 0.779mm with the best quality.

  • An on-line glucose flow injection analysis system was developed and used for the automatic analysis and addition of glucose in the cultivationof a Saccharomyces cerevisiae in a korean paper digestion wastewater in order to increase the cell concentration. The system was composed of a ceramic sampler a sampling valve an injection valve an immobilized glucose oxidase column a debbble a flow cell with platinum electrodes a potentiostat a computer and interface system and tubing pumps. The glucose concentration of the wastewater medium was mainitained at the low concentration of $176{\pm}31 mg/L$ with the on-line FIA system and by adding glucose and $>(NH_4)_2S0_4$ the cell concentration as total cell count can be increased by 3.1times.

  • Resent removal work for road signs has been labor intensive and required times since it has been done manually using shaving type equipment. While traditional process is conducting, there are traffic jams caused by the passing control, and happened unexpected accidents to workers working at dangerous road circumstance. Besides, in current shaving method, there are high potentialities on the air pollution as well as the explosive accident occurred by using a propane gas. So, as an alternative, we have studied to develop the automatic erasing equipment made up with a high pressure water-jet system and automatic control system, mobile system; Wate-rjet system consists of an intensifier and nozzles to give a high pressure and spray on the sign, and automatic control system is composed of one axis robot using a hydraulic servo actuator controlled by a lever, And as a mobile system, a truck plays an important role for the transport of equipment and the forward movement in a removal process. In this paper, we have analyzed the characteristics of road signs and have investigated current erasing methods in the field. And we have organized and designed automatic erasing equipment, and we have made a basic experiment to find out the optimal spray condition as like the spray distance, spray angle and injection pressure.

  • Automatic grease lubricator of gear type was developed by mechanical design, analysis and test with products manufactured by rapid prototyping machine. The mechanism of gear driving was designed in similar to the watch mechanism and lubrication could be controlled by PCB circuit. The body of the lubricator was analyzed by stress analysis with different constructed angle. Digital mockup was analyzed and RP products were combined with PCB circuit and grease. RP products and injection moulding products were tested and compared for roughness and roundness, Finally the grease was drained out for testing the time.

  • This paper introduced an automatic generation method of falling motions for humanoid robots to minimize a damage. The proposed approach used a PGA based optimization technique to find a set of joint trajectories which minimize a damage of the falling over and down. Injection-migration PGA technique is introduced and compared with EMO and various migration topologies. To verify the proposed method, experiments for falling motions were executed for Sony QRIO robot in Webots simulation environments.

  • This study shows an optimization procedure for an automatic determination on the gate position to ensure the fill-uniformity within a part cavity by using the injection molding simulation. For an optimization, the maximum pressure-difference within a part cavity induced at the stage of filling is used to evaluate degree of fill-uniformity. In addition, a direct search scheme based on the reduction of design space is developed and applied in the optimization problem. This corresponding proposed methodology was applied in the optimization on the gate location for a CD-tray molding, as a result, showed the improvement of the fill-uniformity within the cavity.

  • This paper described the effect of dual clutch transmissions on the stability emissions characteristic in a GDI engine at vehicle Inspection and Maintenance(I/M) program. In order to investigate the influence of direct injection gasoline engine with DCT, the experimental apparatus consisted of GDI engine with 4 cylinder, dynamometer and exhaust emissions analyzer. Analyzed emission gas include CO, HC and NOx results that DCT vehicle in the case of NOx, HC in automatic transmission vehicles less than 1/2 level was confirmed to be exhausted. However vehicle specific power increases CO also has increased.

On-line Monitoring of a Glucose Concentration on a Fermentation Process of Wine for an Automatic Control of a Fermentation Process (발효공정 자동제어를 위한 포도주 발효 중 포도당 농도 온라인 측정)

  • A flow injection analysis method (FIA), which analyzes sample conditions after injecting a sample and reagents into a continuous stream, are recognized as the most adequate analyzing method according to the increase of sampling frequency, the decrease of measuring time and the diversity of measuring targets. Specially, the FIA is considered to be used effectively for the control of a fermentation process to produce fermentation food and useful microbial production by activation of a fermentation industry for development of biological materials. In this study, a flow injection analysis sensor unit was developed for on-line monitoring of the fermentation process. The performance was verified by on-line measuring the concentration of glucose of the fermentation process of wine. The glucose concentrations of the samples were measured every 12 hours during the whole fermentation process and compared with those by a HPLC. The concentration relative errors of glucose on the fermentation process of wine showed below 30% within 72 hours and over 50% after the 72 hours. The sensor unit had potential to on-line monitoring of the fermentation process but some problems to overcome for an commercial application.
