속도 추종 스페어 타이어 투입 시스템 개발 (Development of a synchronous automated system for inserting spare tire)

  • With a great requirement of innovation caused by severe competition current companies are encouraged to improve bottleneck areas in production procedure. Specially a chassis line in which assembly processes are mainly carried out manually has the large potential to be automated. The putting of spare tire in trunk in chassis line is still dominated by free dropping method. Through that, parts in trunk such as luggage room lamp, jack and so on were damaged and the complaint of assembler in the next process was occurred due to physical strength. To eliminate these, tile robot system was in this paper developed to place spare tire on the mounting hole in trunk. The movement of robot was synchronized with the velocity of chassis hanger. With this automated system the productivity of the chassis line was increased from the benefits such as simplification of the system using only robot without the mechanically synchronized transport, inserting spare tire into the right position with robot, reduction of damaged parts and production of various type of car.

직교배열을 이용한 통합물류시스템의 실험 설계 및 분석방법 (Design of Experiment and Analysis Method for the Integrated Logistics System Using Orthogonal Array)

  • 이 논문은 Automated Guided Vehicle(AGV)를 이용하여 운영되는 통합물류시스템의 시뮬레이션 실험설계와 분석에 관한 방법을 제시한다. 물류창고의 AGVs(Automated Guided Vehicle system) 성능을 최대로 운영하기 위해선 많은 변수들이 고려되어져야 하는데 대표적 중요 요인에는 차량 대수, 속도, 운행규칙, 부품 타입, 스케줄링, 버퍼 사이즈 등이 있다. 우리는 이 논문에서 다양한 중요요인들 중 (1)처리량 최대화, (2)차량 이용률 최대화 (3)차량 혼잡 최소화, (4)Automated Storage and Retrieval System(ASRS) 이용률 최대화를 고려하기 위해 직교배열(Orthogonal Array)로 실험계획을 수립하였고 이를 이용한 시뮬레이션 기반 분석과 진화전략(Evolution Strategy : ES)를 이용한 최적화를 각각 수행했다. 그 결과 ES에 비해 직교배열이 실험 시간과 회수를 절약하였고 두 결과에 대한 유효성 검사 또한 큰 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 따라서 본 논문에서 제시한 방법을 이용한 분석 방법은 시간, 회수 그리고 실험의 정확성에 대한 분석의 효율성을 증대시킬 것으로 예상되며 통합 물류 시스템 이외의 시스템에도 적용이 가능 할 것으로 생각된다.

  • Much labor, an exceedingly long lead time, and the skills of experienced engineers are required for press tool design. To reduce such problems, several CAD systems for blanking or piercing have been developed. This paper describes a computer-aided design for blanking or piercing of irregularly shaped sheet metal products. An approach to the system is based on knowledge base rules. The process planning & die design system is designed by considering several factors, such as complexity of blank geometry, punch profile, and availability of press equipment and standard parts. Therefore, after checking a production feasibility for irregular shaped sheet metal products, this system which is implemented strip layout module can carry out a process planning and generate the strip layout in graphic forms. Also this system implemented die layout module can carry out a die design for each process which is obtained form the result of an automated process planning and generate parts and assembly drawing of a die set.

Linearized Transistor Model Based Automated Biasing Scheme for Analog Integrated Circuits

  • This work presents an automated transistor biasing scheme for analog integrated circuits. In order to effectively bias the transistor at a desired operating point, the proposed method uses a linearized transistor circuit model along with the curve fitted expressions obtained from the pre-simulated I-V characteristics of the actual transistor. As a result, the transistor size that leads to the desired operating point can be easily determined without heavily relying on the circuit simulator, which will lead to significant design time reduction. Furthermore, the proposed method is applied to an actual amplifier circuit where the design time based on the proposed biasing method showed 10× faster than the conventional design approach using the circuit simulator.

  • 본 연구는 설계 과정의 분해, 시공 과정의 조립, 공사비 적산 등 공사의 계획과 관리에 걸친 모든 공사 관리의 업무를 체계화할 수 있는 공동주택의 공사정보분류체계를 제시하였다. 또한, 본 연구는 이 공사정보분류체계를 작업순서에 따라 관계형 데이터베이스(Data Base)로 구축 방법을 제시하였고, 구축된 데이터베이스를 근거로 적산 자동화 시스템 개념 모형을 구축하였다. 이러한 적산 자동화 시스템 개념 모형은 기존 적산 시스템들의 근본적인 문제점이었던 부적절함을 해소하여 공동주택 건설현장에서 효과적으로 적용가능한 과학적인 적산 시스템으로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

Development of Automated Welding System for Construction: Focused on Robotic Arm Operation for Varying Weave Patterns

  • Welding is a significant part of the construction industry. Since most high-rise building construction structures rely on a robust metal frame welded together, welding defect can damage welded structures and is critical to safety and quality. Despite its importance and heavy usage in construction, the labor shortage of welders has been a continuous challenge to the construction industry. To deal with the labor shortage, the ultimate goal of this study is to design and develop an automated robotic welding system composed of a welding machine, unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), robotic arm, and visual sensors. This paper proposes and focuses on automated weaving using the robotic arm. For automated welding operation, a microcontroller is used to control the switch and is added to a welding torch by physically modifying the hardware. Varying weave patterns are mathematically programmed. The automated weaving is tested using a brush pen and a ballpoint pen to clearly see the patterns and detect any changes in vertical forces by the arm during weaving. The results show that the weave patterns have sufficiently high consistency and precision to be used in the actual welding. Lastly, actual welding was performed, and the results are presented.

  • In this paper, we studied Automated External Defibrillator and Electro- Cardiogram System. Proposed System, CU-EX1, is a PC-based AED/ECG system that manages the data acquired by Paramedic CU-ER1. The system controls the transfer of data from the Paramedic CU-ER1 and the storage of the data in a local host computer. Patient data could be entered as soon as the rescue data is stored in a local computer. The system also displays the data on a local computer and facilitates review of rescue events.

Design of Automated Warehouse Systems

  • The warehousing of inventories is an enormous expense to industries worldwide, and yet there are few available that can be used to design rack storage systems while considering overall system costs. The primary objective of this paper is the development of an overall ware hous storage system costs model to aid a warehous planner in the design of automated warehouse systems. A simulation model and statistical estimation procedures are used to determine the maximum inventory levels accumulated in the receiving, storage, and shipping areas. The overall cost model is developed to determine the required total land, the initial investment fund, the number of pieces of handling equipment, and the storage rack configuration for the main storage area. A numerical example is then presented to demonstrate the application of the overall system cost model developed in this paper.

접속 행렬을 이용한 순차 시스템 제어기 설계 (Design of Sequential System Controller Using Incidence Matrix)

  • 본 논문에서는 페트리 네트로 記述된 제어 사양을 접속 행렬로 해석한 후, 그 결과를 근거로 병렬 시퀸스의 수행이 가능한 순차 시스템 제어기(Sequential System Controller)를 설계하였다. 순차 시스템 제어기는 입력 처리부, 그리고 점화 처리부와 토큰 제어기로 구성된 페트리 네트 제어기로 구성된다. 입력 처리부에서는 입력 신호를 선택하여 점화 처리부로 전달하며, 점화 처리부는 토큰 운전기의 토큰 상태에 따라서 입력된 신호의 점화 여부를 판단하게 된다. 제안된 제어기는 제어 사양의 변경시 접속 행렬을 저장한 롬의 내용 변경만으로 제어기의 변경이 가능하고, 페트리 네트 제어기의 모듈화가 가능하여 기능의 확장이 용이하므로 자동창고 시스템, 반송 시스템, 및 승강기 시스템과 같은 순차 시스템 제어기의 개발 및 실현을 용이하게 할 수 있다.
