In recent years, graphics authoring tools have evolved into a variety of formats in line with the rapidly changing digital design field. However, in the field of interface design, screen shape and size depending on the user's environment, it needs more flexible and scalable authoring tools. Along with the emergence of variety of new tools, work processes are also changing. This study investigates what kinds of graphic authoring tools are currently used by designers and compared the result to the case of overseas and examined the difference in the environment of graphic authoring tool. This study looked at criteria and satisfaction of designers choosing authoring tools and how the choice depends on the type of company we are working in and the type of project we are involved in. Research shows that the choice of authoring tools depends on the type and efficiency of the project. Based on this, a reference is provided to establish the standard and working environment for designers and companies to select graphic authoring tools and propose the future direction of graphic authoring tool environments.

We can define the procedure of Authoring that it makes area cord and the reproduction prevent menu programmed into MPEG II video stream , Audio which is AC-3 audio stream and subtitle under its own category. And it makes process an attribute, an order and an operation, gives the last disk image, Which is DVD(digital versatile disc). There are various process of Authoring tools in the market so that authoring tools can enable, encourage, and assist users ('authors') in the selection of tools that produce simple title, video production and editing suites. In this paper, we will compare and analyze authoring process in which image and sound are authorized into DVD with IEEE 1394port between Window system using generally with Desktop PC and the Macintosh that is based on OSX.

The needs and practical use of multimedia authoring tools in education are increasing. In the paper. we analyze essential elements and the functional features of an authoring tool which may be required for developing multimedia CAI programs. Based on a review of popular authoring tools in the market, GREAT-II, Artware, Authorware professional, ToolBook and IconAuthor, we present the improvement direction of next generation multimedia authoring tools.

Animation tool has been made changes rapid development of animation from analog tool to digital authoring tool. Depending on the change in the status of digital authoring tools, education of digital authoring tool has brought many changes occurred in the institute and university. Digital authoring tool was insufficient for research of authoring tool due to the recognition that authoring tool is a simple tool. I try to resolve the difficulties through the analysis digital authoring tools to students studying at the university. In addition, Suggests social/cultural change of animation practitioners and effective training methods of digital authoring tools in the education of beginners and practitioners. This tool have perceptual knowledge and narrative knowledge. Since the language features and knowledge features is difficult to learn. it must be learned knowledge of computer graphics of professional level properly to learn. Then users should try to be creative within the authoring tool to produce creative results. also formed the community and to exchange information for self-development further it should form job market that authoring tool make formed through medium. So, I think that there is a need to change academically attitude to authoring tool. because this is not only the positive side but it occurs phenomenon to enslave users in authoring tool, and blind faith in the authoring tool or critical stance on software. It was a lot of pre-existing research that investigate engineering and industrial side in the authoring tool. Through this thesis, We will find social/cultural features and academic significance, and investigate that how to approach the method of education.

We discuss the characteristics of authoring tool for the lecture on demand(LOD) in a cyber university. We introduce a media art contents authoring tool called ECAS(Exhibition Contents Authoring System), and methodology employed in its development. ECAS was developed using the graphical user interface to overcome difficulties with existing authoring tools that are text-based. For efficient implementation of graphical user interface, GMF(Graphical Modeling Framework) technique by Eclipse was used. SWT(Standard Widget Toolkit) and JIT(Just-In-Time) were used to improve speed and performance of ECAS. We show convenience and efficiency of ECAS by comparing with existing media art contents authoring tools.

The automated quantity take off technique using BIM authoring tools has been recently issued, and the studies of this method for the accuracy, efficiency, and the unit computing for the simple volume, area and number have been developed. Meanwhile the main concerns such as the details for the level of modelling, and the costs and time for the calculating BOQ item are still required to study. In this paper, the earth works, drainage works, pavement works, and facility works using BIM authoring tools are designed in 3D, and the applicability of automated quantity take off technique using BIM authoring tools is discussed, respectively. As a result, automated quantity take off are limited in the earth works, drainage works, pavement works, and facility works. But Most items of BOQ can be supported in Re-bar model.

There has been increasing demand of hypermedia as computing and educational environment change. Most authoring tools developed recently have various built-in functions., but they are not enough to create hypermedia program or easy to learn. Even though teachers might try to develop hypermedia program with existing authoring tools, they usually come to face with the difficulties of creating new nodes, adding new data, or keeping user's activity records. Therefore, this study investigated to present a prototype of Educational Hypermedia Editor that can be conveniently used in hypermedia programs. According to the theories of courseware design, instructional design, learning theory, and hypertext and hyperemia, design strategies for the study were selected. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of domestic authoring tools as well as foreign authoring tools, the Educational Hypermedia Editor that has authoring and executing mode was designed and developed. Because the Educational Hypermedia Editor was designed for information retrieval CAI(Computer Assisted Instruction) materials, it is expected that the Educational Hypermedia Editor will be extensively used in the urea of social science classes, investigation studies, and information processing studies.

In this paper, we propose the authoring tools engine supported a 4 dimension display contents which serve display of high quality (UHD*250) curved using 4 dimension engine, which is a innovation technology by authoring tools of management software supported 4 dimension editing environment on curved flexible display. The important technology is as follows, the first, the authoring tools of 4 dimension viedo wall for a flexible high quality display(UHD*256) using multiscreen synchornization, the second implemented a bidirection interaction technology of UI/UX interface, which is established by 360 degree recognition sensor for digital signage, the 4 dimension viedowall flexible display with curve, the third, implemented the authoring tool software for various dimension electronic books first in the world.
