This paper presents a security and authentification scheme against unauthorized disclose and attack in ATM(Asynchronous Transmission Method) with various service. Four various options to place security layer between the AAL and ATM layers is discussed. The suggested security and authentification can be integrated with the call setup procedures of ATM.

Applying wireless mode to an existing wired home network system, the users became to use services of home network conveniently in their home. In order to construct a safe network in home network system, it needs user authentification and interactive authentification to mobile devices. In this paper, we propose an interactive authentification mechanism in order to make a safe home network system in mobile environment.

지리적으로 분산되어 있는 이기종의 분산 컴퓨팅 자원과 대규모 데이터를 효과적으로 활용하기 위해서 최근에 GRID 컴퓨팅 환경에 대한 연구가 매우 활성화되고 있다. 이러한 GRID 환경을 구현하기 위해 필요한 부분중의 하나가 사용자와 자원간의 인증에 관련된 문제이다. 현재 Globus Toolkit은 PKI(Public Key Infrastructure)를 기본으로 하는 보안정책을 사용하고 있다. 이 정책은 인증과정에 적지않은 오버헤드가 발생되는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 사용자와 자원간의 직접적인 인증으로 인해 발생하는 성능상의 비효율성을 줄이기 위해 사용자가 자원에 접속 하기전 AIS서버(Authentification Information Server)를 이용하여 미리 인증을 거친후, 자원에 접근한 때는 기 발급된 식별자로 인증 될 수 있도록 처리해주는 메커니즘을 제안한다.

인터넷 등 네트워크상의 거래에서의 인증은 주요한 인프라이다 네트워크상에서의 거래에서는 일반적 대면거래에서와 달리 상대방 확인과 내용에 대한 확인을 할 수 없다. 이러한 문제점을 해결해주는 것이 바로 인증이며 인증은 암호방식을 사용하며 신뢰받는 제3자에 의해 수행된다. 인증사업을 위한 제도적 뒷받침을 위해 각국은 디지틀서명 및 인증기관에 관한 디지틀 서명법을 제정하고 있으며, 민간부문 뿐만 아니라 공공부문을 포괄하는 상호인증을 가능케하는 국가적 차원의 공개키기반구조 확립에 주력하고 있다. 본고에서는 이러한 인증의 개념과 국내외 인증사업 및 정책에 대해 살펴보았다.

의약분업의 시작으로 환자의 약국에서의 대기 시간을 줄이기 위한 전자처방전이 활성화될 것이 예상되지만, 의사가 전자처방전 작성에 할애하는 노동력을 줄이기 위한 방법과 전자처방전의 신뢰성과 전송상의 환자 동의 여부를 증명하는 방식이 현재까지 나타나고 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 이 문제를 지문인증, 음성인식과 압축기술을 이용하여 해결하는 방식을 제안하며, 실제적 구현을 통하여 그 타당성을 제시하였다. 실제 실험실 수준에서 시험한 결과 일반저긴 전자처방전에 비하여 처방전 작성시간이 20% 정도 절감되었으며, 복잡한 복약 지도의 경우에는 더욱 효과적일 것이다. 본 시험에서는 온라인 지문인증에 소요되는 시간은 제외하였다.

IPSec authentication provides support for data integrity and authentication of IP packets. Authentication is based on the use of a message authentication code(MAC). Hash function algorithm is used to produce MAC , which is referred to HMAC. In this paper, we propose a cryptographic accelerator using FPGA implementations. The accelator consists of a hash function mechanism based on MD5 algorithm, and a public-key generator based on a Elliptiv Curve algorithm with small scale of circuits. The accelator provides a messsage authentification as well as a digital signature. Implementation results show the proposed cryptographic accelerator can be applied to IPSec authentications.

The entire plant of Leptadenia reticulata (Asclepidaceae) is extensively used as lactogen, traditionally, in veterinary practice. The plants of Dregea volubilis and Pentatropis microphylla (Asclepidaceae) are now used as its substitute and sometimes replace the original drug as traditional lactogen. The lactogenic potential of these drugs was studied in rats using, pup weight, weight of mother, parenchyma percentage, secretary rating, estimation of total protein content and glycogen content of mammary glands tissues as assessment parameters. HPTLC profiles of bioactive extracts were also generated to serve the authentification needs. The results of present studies show that P.microphylla forms a better substitute over D. volubilis.

The authors have developed a reading & writing textbook for engineering students to improve their communication capability, and also analyzed the outcomes that the students accomplished through the Engineering Reading and Writing class. The reading & writing textbook has been organized to be used as a guidebook with which the engineering students can practically solve the problems that they would face continuously after they finish their regular curriculum and when they are employed. The questionnaire survey analysis has been performed in order to evaluate the textbook contents, lecturing, and learning outcomes for the lecturers and students finished the engineering reading and writing classes. Desirable evaluation has been resulted in the broad areas: subject extraction from the readings, logical understanding, summarizing, practical writing, writing principle, etc.

Ginseng (Panax ginseng) is recognized as one of the most valuable medicinal herbs in Asia and it contains diverse phytochemicals that contribute to its pharmacological effects. Although lipids represent a major component of ginseng, ginseng lipids are still far from being fully explored. This review is focused on ginseng lipid components and methodologies of their analysis. The ginseng lipid compounds were categorized according to the structural features of each lipid class. This basic information on ginseng lipid components and the analysis methods will be applicable to authentification or quality control of ginseng products, and development of lipid-based pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals from ginseng.
