This study suggested how to apply it decision-making of product development rapidly by design evaluation process to objectify and the result to quantify with viewpoint of design evaluation sets to marketability. Coverage of this method limited to the evaluation stage of design concept. The procedure of study, first of all, referred to some type of design evaluation method and their feature. And next, referred to some kinds of demand forecasting for marketing. Above an, this study focused on the method of demand forecasting by buying intentions surveys proper to the marketability evaluation of new product design. On a case study, I had investigated preference survey and buying intentions surveys about the design proposal of "language master audio". I selected the best design proposal through the conjoint analysis and also investigated demand forecasting. First, on the basis of buying intentions surveys, choose population and had produced buying demand, awareness demand, potential demand. I could estimate some profit to take out expense and cost from the buying demand. This estimated profit is marketability judgement data of product design at the design concept stage and can be utilized to measurable data for decision-making of product development. Through the case study, this method could forecast a target demand, and even if it is some difference between real sales volume, but the case study could verified that this method is effective to the evaluation of marketability in case of completely new product got on the typical category and the product category could be set up the population clearly.

The purpose of the study was to understand and explore the quality of life in cancer patients in the context of a Korean culture and society. Grounded theory method guided the data collection and analysis. A total of 10 cancer patients was selected by a theoretical sampling. The data were collected by an open question. All interviews were audio taped and transcribed verbatim. Constant comparison analysis was employed to analyze the data. As the results, eighty-five concepts and twelve categories were emerged, and "keeping well-being status" identified as a core category. Quality of life related categories derived from this study will academically contribute to the understanding and expansion of theoretical bases for quality of life of Korean cancer patients and to the contexts for the development of measurement of quality of life. Furthermore, they will function as the foundation of a intervention development for quality of life.

단일 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 소스가 다양한 분산된 무선 디바이스에서 재생될 때, 오디오와 비디오 컨텐츠는 멀티 채널 스테레오 사운드와 립싱크 (lip-sync)를 위한 동시적인 플레이가 요구된다. 특히 차량 내의 멀티미디어 시스템은 기존의 유선 환경에서 최근 무선 환경으로의 이전에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있는 상황이다. 이에 본 논문은 IEEE 802.11 WLANs [1] 환경에서 실시간으로 멀티미디어 트래픽을 전송하기위해 필요한 동기화된 서비스 제공을 목적으로 하는 동기화 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이를 위해 기존의 IEEE 1588 [2]을 개선한 새로운 알고리즘을 구현하고 무선 랜 (WLANs) 환경의 시뮬레이션 환경을 구축하여 그 성능을 평가, 분석한 후 실제 무선 디바이스 (링크시스 wrt-350n AP 네트워크 디바이스)에 이를 포팅 하여 디바이스 간의 동기화 정확도를 실험, 분석하였다.

광학헤드는 디지털 오디오 및 비디오 장치의 핵심부품으로서 일반 가전제품에서부터 컴퓨터 기억장치 및 게임기까지 광범위하게 응용되고 있으며, 광미디어의 수요가 확대됨에 따라 그 수요도 급속도로 증가되는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 광학헤드의 핵심 구성요소인 포커스 및 트랙킹 서보용 2축 구동부를 와이어 부동형 외팔보 형태로 설계하고, 시뮤레이션 및 시제작 특성 분석을 통하여 그 설계 타당성을 검증하였다. 또한, 시제작 특성 분석을 통하여, 설계상의 원인외에 2축 구동부의 성능에 악영향을 미치는 조립공정의 인자를 파악하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe the post-traumatic stress experiences of firefighters and paramedics. Methods: The participants were 20 fire fighters and paramedics who belong to the Busan Fire Department. Data were collected through in-depth, unstructured audio-taped interviews by the investigator over a six-month period. The participants were asked to describe their post-traumatic stress. The data were analyzed according to Giorgi's method for phenomenological analysis. Results: The interview data were organized by theme into 7 categories that emerged from the analysis. Participants faced various post-traumatic stresses working as fire fighters or paramedics. The categories were suffering from disastrous situations, feeling of fear and helplessness in the face of death, re-experiencing vividly the past traumatic situation, avoiding painful reminders of the trauma, emotional numbing as time passes, suffering from emotional arousal and increased anxiety, and struggling to cope with the post-traumatic stress. Conclusion: This study provides a better understanding of post-traumatic stress experiences from fire fighters and paramedics and the knowledge gained from this study will help in developing appropriate post-traumatic stress management programs.

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship of clothing involvement and clothing buying behavior of women. A questionnaire was developed to measure clothing involvement, clothing purchasing motives, clothing purchasing criteria, fashion information sources, store selection criteria, and demographic characteristics. The questionnaire was administered to 430 female adults in Taegu. The data were analyzed using percentage, frequency, factor analysis, and t-test. The results of the study were s follows: 1. Subjects were divided into low clothing involved and high clothing involved groups. 2. Three dimensions of clothing purchasing motives were derived by factor analysis such as Aesthetic dependant, Impulsive, and Practical motive. Clothing purchasing criteria were factor analysed as Aesthetic, Qualitative, External, and Economical criterion. Fashion information sources were factor analysed as Printed & audio-visual oriented media, Marketer intensive search, Store search, Observation & Interpersonal search, and Experience. Store selection criteria were factor analyzed as Merchandise & Store atmosphere, Store convenience, and Brand & fashion. 3. There were significant differences between high involved and low involved consumers in clothing purchasing behavior. The high involved consumers showed more importance than low involved consumers about purchasing criteria expecially in aesthetic dependant. The high involved consumers put more importance to aesthetic, qualitative, and external criterion as clothing purchasing criteria. The high involved information sources. The high involved consumers were more concerned about merchandise & store atmosphere, and brand & fashion than low involved consumers in store selection criteria.

데이터, 비디오, 오디오 등에 대한 디지털 컨버전스 추세와 함께, 최근 휴대용 멀티미디어 재생기(PMP)가 점차 대중화되고 있다. PMP는 DSP, 보다 큰 LCD 스크린, 하드디스크 등이 장착되는 이유로 다른 휴대형 장치들에 비해서 효과적인 전력관리에 대한 필요성이 강조되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 데이터수집 장치를 기반으로 한 하드웨어/소프트웨어기반 전력 측정 시스템 구축에 대해서 설명하고, PMP에서 발생하는 부팅, 동영상 재생, 다양한 비디오 코딩 방식 적용과 같은 다양한 사건 실행시의 전력소모 패턴을 측정하고 분석한다. 분석 결과는 저전력 PMP 장치를 설계하기 위한 유용한 정보를 제공한다.

The image and impression characteristics of the consumer electronic products have become an important factor in purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze and interpret the image and impression characteristics based on the consumer preference survey. The survey consisted of two parts. First part was to measure the predetermined 52 design variables that can represent the design variables of the products. In the second part, 60 subjects were requested to evaluate 36 audio/video electronic products on 25 different image attributes such as luxuriousness, attractiveness, and granularity. In this study, empirical data from the survey were analyzed through various multivariate analysis and ANOVA analysis. Additionally, this study suggested a statistical procedure that can be applied to select and/or screen critical design variables. It is expected that the results of this study can provide practical information to the designers of consumer electronic products.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe pregnant women's lived experiences of hospitalization due to preterm labor in Korea. Methods: This qualitative study adopted a phenomenological approach. Individual in-depth interviews were conducted with nine participants, over the age of 20 years, who had been hospitalized for more than 1 week after being diagnosed with preterm labor. All interviews were audio-taped and verbatim transcripts were made for analysis. The data were analyzed following Colaizzi's phenomenological method. Results: The participants' ages ranged from 26 to 36 years, and all were married women. They were hospitalized for 13.1 days on average. Five thematic clusters emerged from the analysis. 'Withstanding hospitalization for the fetus's well-being' describes women's feelings during preterm labor and their endurance during their prolonged hospitalization, rooted in their conviction that the fetus comes first. 'Endless frustration in the hospital' encompasses women's emotions while lying in bed and quietly thinking to themselves. 'Unmet physiological needs' describes participants' awareness of their inability to independently handle human physiological needs given the need for careful and limited movement. 'Gratitude for the support around oneself' reflects the support from family and medical staff. 'Shifting perceptions and accepting one's circumstances' describes accepting hospitalization and making efforts to spend their remaining time in the hospital in a meaningful way. Conclusion: The findings in this study provide a deeper understanding and insights into the experiences of Korean women with preterm labor during hospitalization, underscoring the need to develop interventions for these patients.

돼지는 꿀꿀거림, 기침, 비명과 같은 다양한 소리로 환경에 대한 반응과 건강 상태를 나타낸다. 돼지 음성의 중요성으로 최근 들어 돼지의 음성은 축산업 종사자에게 매우 중요한 데이터로 활발하게 연구되고 있다. 이를 위해 돼지의 음성 패턴을 분석하여 농장 소음 속에서 돼지의 음성을 구분하고 음성과 기침 소리를 구분하는 경량화 MobileNet 모델을 제안한다. 이 MobileNet은 돈사 내에서 다양한 배경 잡음, 기침 소리 등의 다양한 소리 속에서 돼지의 음성만을 정밀하게 구분하고 분석할 수 있었다. 테스트 결과, 이 모델은 98.2%의 높은 정확도를 보여주었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 연구에서는 돼지의 감정 분석, 스트레스 파악 등의 문제 해결을 기대한다.
