제 1, 2회 학생 과학 공동탐구 토론대회의 종합적 평가 (Summative Evaluation of 1993, 1994 Discussion Contest of Scientific Investigation)

  • The first and the second "Discussion Contest of Scientific Investigation" was evaluated in this study. This contest was a part of 'Korean Youth Science Festival' held in 1993 and 1994. The evaluation was based on the data collected from the middle school students of final teams, their teachers, a large number of middle school students and college students who were audience of the final competition. Questionnaires, interviews, reports of final teams, and video tape of final competition were used to collect data. The study focussed on three research questions. The first was about the preparation and the research process of students of final teams. The second was about the format and the proceeding of the Contest. The third was whether participating the Contest was useful experience for the students and the teachers of the final teams. The first area, the preparation and the research process of students, were investigated in three aspects. One was the level of cooperation, participation, support and the role of teachers. The second was the information search and experiment, and the third was the report writing. The students of the final teams from both years, had positive opinion about the cooperation, students' active involvement, and support from family and school. Students considered their teachers to be a guide or a counsellor, showing their level of active participation. On the other hand, the interview of 1993 participants showed that there were times that teachers took strong leading role. Therefore one can conclude that students took active roles most of the time while the room for improvement still exists. To search the information they need during the period of the preparation, student visited various places such as libraries, bookstores, universities, and research institutes. Their search was not limited to reading the books, although the books were primary source of information. Students also learned how to organize the information they found and considered leaning of organizing skill useful and fun. Variety of experiments was an important part of preparation and students had positive opinion about it. Understanding related theory was considered most difficult and important, while designing and building proper equipments was considered difficult but not important. This reflects the students' school experience where the equipments were all set in advance and students were asked to confirm the theories presented in the previous class hours. About the reports recording the research process, students recognize the importance and the necessity of the report but had difficulty in writing it. Their reports showed tendency to list everything they did without clear connection to the problem to be solved. Most of the reports did not record the references and some of them confused report writing with story telling. Therefore most of them need training in writing the reports. It is also desirable to describe the process of student learning when theory or mathematics that are beyond the level of middle school curriculum were used because it is part of their investigation. The second area of evaluation was about the format and the proceeding of the Contest, the problems given to students, and the process of student discussion. The format of the Contests, which consisted of four parts, presentation, refutation, debate and review, received good evaluation from students because it made students think more and gave more difficult time but was meaningful and helped to remember longer time according to students. On the other hand, students said the time given to each part of the contest was too short. The problems given to students were short and open ended to stimulate students' imagination and to offer various possible routes to the solution. This type of problem was very unfamiliar and gave a lot of difficulty to students. Student had positive opinion about the research process they experienced but did not recognize the fact that such a process was possible because of the oneness of the task. The level of the problems was rated as too difficult by teachers and college students but as appropriate by the middle school students in audience and participating students. This suggests that it is possible for student to convert the problems to be challengeable and intellectually satisfactory appropriate for their level of understanding even when the problems were difficult for middle school students. During the process of student discussion, a few problems were observed. Some problems were related to the technics of the discussion, such as inappropriate behavior for the role he/she was taking, mismatching answers to the questions. Some problems were related to thinking. For example, students thinking was off balanced toward deductive reasoning, and reasoning based on experimental data was weak. The last area of evaluation was the effect of the Contest. It was measured through the change of the attitude toward science and science classes, and willingness to attend the next Contest. According to the result of the questionnaire, no meaningful change in attitude was observed. However, through the interview several students were observed to have significant positive change in attitude while no student with negative change was observed. Most of the students participated in Contest said they would participate again or recommend their friend to participate. Most of the teachers agreed that the Contest should continue and they would recommend their colleagues or students to participate. As described above, the "Discussion Contest of Scientific Investigation", which was developed and tried as a new science contest, had positive response from participating students and teachers, and the audience. Two among the list of results especially demonstrated that the goal of the Contest, "active and cooperative science learning experience", was reached. One is the fact that students recognized the experience of cooperation, discussion, information search, variety of experiments to be fun and valuable. The other is the fact that the students recognized the format of the contest consisting of presentation, refutation, discussion and review, required more thinking and was challenging, but was more meaningful. Despite a few problems such as, unfamiliarity with the technics of discussion, weakness in inductive and/or experiment based reasoning, and difficulty in report writing, The Contest demonstrated the possibility of new science learning environment and science contest by offering the chance to challenge open tasks by utilizing student science knowledge and ability to inquire and to discuss rationally and critically with other students.

포럼 품질이 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대한 실증분석: 포럼 참가자 특성 및 기대감의 조절효과를 중심으로 (An Empirical Analysis on How Participants' Characteristics and Forum Quality Influence their Expectation and Satisfaction in Social Learning Forum)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze empirically analyze how the characteristics of participants in educational and social learning forums and the quality of events influence expectations and satisfaction of forums. The study also aims to provide strategic implications for forum organizers and give them suggestions on how to set up target audience, manage forum contents, speakers, and services, improve attendee satisfaction, and ultimately maximize overall outcomes. As exchanges among individuals, enterprises, and organizations, as well as countries are growing rapidly, the convention industry has become a key player in the market. Conventions have also become a venue for people to discuss a specific agenda or topic, exchange information and learn knowledge and insights. Especially, the forum - as part of the convention industry - plays a vital role providing educational and social learning opportunities as scholars and expertise come together to share their knowledge and experience through a variety of discussions. With its role, many of forums are taking place in recent years; however, there have been few empirical studies upon the forum itself. Also, there have been few attempts to research how the quality of forums affect participants' satisfaction along with their characteristics and how much of practical knowledge is provided throughout the events. This study is meaningful in that it is the first practical study that takes a deep understanding of the forum and sees how the quality of the forums influences participants' satisfaction and whether the characteristics of participants have a moderating effect in increasing the level of satisfaction. Forum organizers could also take a strategic approach as their major concerns are to increase the number of participants and raise degree of satisfaction by providing significant information. There are four key elements that determine success or failure of a social learning forum. The four elements are contents, speakers, services, and participants. Content plays an important role in providing rich information and knowledge for participants. Speakers are the main knowledge providers who contribute to the forum's social learning role. Also, the services provided by forum organizers such as simultaneous interpretation services, program brochures, lunch and refreshments, and the overall design of event hall can also influence the level of participants' satisfaction. Lastly, the participants and their characteristics are important since they are the ones who receive knowledge from the providers. The results of this study show that the quality of forum (content, speaker, and services) has a decisive effect on the participants' satisfaction and there are some differences in expectation among the participants in the forum. Also, some groups of participants were more likely to be stimulated by the quality of forum when determining their satisfaction. The study is modeled after MBN Y Forum 2016 and its participants' characteristics. The forum is one of the most representative social learning forums of South Korea and its audiences are mostly young people. It has analyzed how the participants' characteristics influence their satisfaction by grouping them into ${\Delta}participants$ who have invited for free and those who paid for the entrance fee, ${\Delta}first-time$ participants and returning participants, ${\Delta}voluntary$ and involuntary participants, ${\Delta}participants$ who registered through web and those who did through mobile, and ${\Delta}participants$ who registered during pre-sale opens and those who registered during general opens.

애니메이션의 일인칭 서술자 연구 : 회상으로서의 유년 체험 서술을 중심으로 (A Study on the First Person Narrator in Animation : Focusing on the narration of childhood experience as retrospection)

  • 본 논문은 초점화자와 인물 그리고 서술자 모두 '나'로 지시되는 일인칭 서술자 애니메이션의 서사적 기능과 의미 분석을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 성인이 되어 자신의 유년 시절을 회상하는 유년의 '나'와 성인이 된 지금의 '나'가 어떤 관계를 맺는지, 그리고 유년 인물의 체험과 감각이 서사를 읽는 관객에게 주는 미학적 효과는 무엇인지 살펴보았다. 성인 서술자의 회고적 서술상황은 '체험적 자아(유년 자아)와 서술적 자아(성인 자아)사이의 긴장감'에서 오는 서사적 효과를 갖는다. 이들 작품은 성인 서술자의 고백을 통한 유년 체험이 중심이지만, 성인 서술자의 시선은 언제나 '현재'로 향한다. 즉, 일인칭 서술자가 갖는 회상의 미학은 숨겨진 것, 망각된 것들의 가치들을 끊임없이 환기시키는 것과 관련되어 있다. 또한, 유년 인물 초점화자가 '경험의 주체'로 나서는 서사 기법은 합리적인 시스템에 길들여진 시선에서 벗어나, 대상 그 자체로 사유하게 하는 질적 변화를 갖는다. 성인이 되면서 상실된 미메시스적 능력이 유년 감각의 총체성과 만나 질적 변화를 일으키는 것이다. 따라서 애니메이션의 일인칭 서술상황에서 서술자가 갖는 의미는 작품의 미학적 완성도뿐만 아니라, 관객의 작품 수용에도 결정적인 영향을 주는 고도의 전략적인 서사 장치임을 알 수 있다.

수용자의 인지정교화 가능성 수준이 프레이밍 효과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (An Analysis of the Relationship between the Level of Elaboration Likelihood and the News Framing Effects)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 수용자의 인지정교화 가능성과 뉴스 프레임 효과의 관계를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서로 다른 프레임과 메시지 특성이 적용된 기사를 수용자에게 노출시키는 실험을 통해서 뉴스 프레임 효과가 수용자의 인지정교화 수준에 따라 어떻게 변화하는지를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과, 수용자의 이슈에 대한 관여도가 높을수록 뉴스 프레임에 대한 동조화 정도가 높은 반면, 수용자가 비평적으로 사고하는 성향이 강할수록 뉴스 프레임에 대한 동조화는 적거나 역방향으로 나타나고 있다. 따라서 수용자 요인 중에서 비평적 사고를 즐기는 성향은 높은 수준의 인지정교화를 결정짓는 요인이긴 하지만, 반드시 프레이밍 효과로까지 이어지는 요인은 아니었다. 관여도가 낮은 이슈일수록 수용자들은 주변경로로 정보를 처리하는 경우가 많은 것으로 확인되었다. 메시지 특성 변인으로 논증과 단서의 양이 많을수록 프레임에 대한 동조화 정도가 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 논증과 단서의 양이 적을수록 수용자들은 주변경로를 통해 정보를 처리하는 경우가 많았다. 관여도의 경우, 고관여 이슈에서는 단서보다 논증의 양에 따라서 프레이밍 효과가 결정되는 반면, 저관여 이슈에서는 단서의 양에 따라서 프레이밍의 효과의 차이가 나타나고 있다.

  • 많은 스타들이 팬과의 소통을 위해 인터넷 개인 방송을 통해 실시간으로 토크를 진행하는 등 다양한 내용을 방송하고 있다. 인터넷 방송을 통해 팬과의 소통 효과를 기대하는 스타 및 엔터테인먼트 매니지먼트 기업에게는 인터넷 개인 방송에 참여하는 시청자의 시청동기와 시청만족도를 파악하는 것이 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 이용과 충족 접근을 바탕으로 유명 연예인 인터넷 개인 방송에 대한 중국 시청자의 시청동기와 시청만족도를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 그 결과 유명 연예인 인터넷 개인 방송에 대한 중국시청자의 시청 동기로 '감정적 동기'와 '기능적 동기'가 발견되었다. 그리고 시청자의 '감정적 시청동기'가 커질수록 시청만족도는 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 볼 때 유명 연예인 인터넷 개인방송 시청자의 연령 및 직업과 같은 수용자 특성을 반영하여 프로그램을 세분화하는 전략이 필요할 것으로 보인다. 수용자를 세분화하여 맞춤형으로 연예인 인터넷 개인방송의 프로그램을 기획 제작하는 것이 시청자수를 확대하고 의도한 방송효과를 실현시킬 수 있는 방안이 될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

할리우드 영화의 장르별 수용 : 한국 영화시장에서의 문화적 할인현상을 중심으로1 (Examining Genre Tastes of Hollywood Movies in Korea)

  • 문화적 할인은 할리우드 영화가 해외 관객의 수용자의 문화적 취향에 따라서 수용이 다르게 나타남을 강조하고 있다. 이와 같은 이해를 바탕으로 이 연구는 한국 내에서 할리우드 영화의 수용이 장르별로 어떻게 다르게 나타나는 지를 분석하였다. 분석대상은 2008년부터 2010년까지 미국에서 1백만 달러 이상의 흥행실적을 거둔 할리우드 영화이며, 이들 영화 중 한국에서 개봉된 영화의 비율 및 흥행성과 등을 중심으로 장르별 수용이 어떻게 차별화되는 지를 고찰하였다. 분석결과를 보면, 할리우드 영화가 한국에서 개봉된 비율은 59.6%이며, 평균보다 낮은 비율로 개봉된 장르는 코미디(46.2%)와 다큐멘터리(20%)뿐이었다. 제작비와 장르의 특성을 고려하면, 할리우드 영화 중 제작비 투자가 많은 장르의 경우 한국 내 개봉비율 또한 높게 나타났다. 또한 미국에서의 흥행실적이 높을수록 한국에서도 흥행실적이 높게 나타나며, 제작비 투입이 높을수록 1개의 영화에 다양한 장르적 요소를 포함하여 제작하는 복합장르화 현상이 발견되었다. 이와 같이 제작비, 미국에서의 흥행실적, 복합장르화 등의 영향력을 통제할 때 할리우드 영화의 수입 후 수용자 수준에서는 문화적 할인이 흥행성에 미치는 효과가 통계적으로 유의미한 나타나지 않았다. 연구의 의의와 한계가 같이 논의 되었다.

Murray Schafer의 사운드스케이프 개념을 바탕으로 한 무용작품 의 창작과정 연구 (A Study on the Creation Process of Dance based on the Concept of Murray Schafer's Soundscape)

  • 본 연구는 머레이 쉐이퍼(Murray Schafer)의 사운드스케이프(Soundscape) 개념을 통해 소리의 구분, 지각, 요소의 이해를 바탕으로 일상생활 속의 소음과 비음악적인 소리를 활용한 무용작품 의 창작과정과 이에 대한 음악적인 효과 및 새로운 안무 유형의 가치를 탐구하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 두었다. 실기기반연구(Practice-based Research)의 방법론적 연구에 따라 실기, 이론, 평가의 단계를 몸적 자료(Somatic Data)로 축적하였으며, 『공간디자인과 조형연습』(2003)의 일부분을 기반으로 형상화 방법, 움직임 형식, 공간화 방식으로 제시하여 분석의 근거를 마련하였다. 그 결과 창작과정에서 사운드스케이프, 즉 일상생활 속의 소리에 대한 음악적 효과 및 새로운 움직임 창작방법을 발견해낼 수 있었으며, 소리 역시 작품의 전반적인 분위기, 움직임의 의미, 작품의 주제를 효과적으로 전달할 수 있는 가능성을 탐구하였다. 아울러 사운드 스케이프라는 개념을 바탕으로 연구되어 나타난 소리에 대한 잠재적 가능성은 무용작품의 또 다른 창작환경을 만들어갈 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

Research on the Movie Reviews Regarded as Unsuccessful in Box Office Outcomes in Korea: Based on Big Data Posted on Naver Movie Portal

  • Purpose - Based on literature studies of movie reviews and movie ratings, this study raised two research questions on the contents of online word of mouth and the number of movie screens as mediator variables. Research question 1 wanted to figure out which topics of word groups had a positive or negative impact on movie ratings. Research question 2 tried to identify the role of the number of movie screens between movie ratings and box office outcomes. Design/methodology/approach - Through R program, this study collected about 82,000 movie reviews and movie ratings posted on Naver's movie website to examine the role of online word of mouths and movie screen counts in 10 movies that were considered commercially unsuccessful with fewer than 2 million viewers despite securing about 1,000 movie screens. To confirm research question 1, topic modeling, a text mining technique, was conducted on movie reviews. In addition, this study linked the movie ratings posted on Naver with information of KOBIS by date, to identify the research question 2. Findings - Through topic modeling, 5 topics were identified. Topics found in this study were largely organized into two groups, the content of the movie (topic 1, 2, 3) and the evaluation of the movie (topics 4, 5). When analyzing the relationship between movie reviews and movie ratings with 5 mediators identified in topic modeling to probe research question 1, the topic word groups related to topic 2, 3 and 5 appeared having a negative effect on the netizen's movie ratings. In addition, by connecting two secondary data by date, analysis for research question 2 was implemented. The outcomes showed that the causal relationship between movie ratings and audience numbers was mediated by the number of movie screens. Research implications or Originality - The results suggested that the information presented in text format was harder to quantify than the information provided in scores, but if content information could be digitalized through text mining techniques, it could become variable and be analyzed to identify causality with other variables. The outcomes in research question 2 showed that movie ratings had a direct impact on the number of viewers, but also had indirect effects through changes in the number of movie screens. An interesting point is that the direct effect of movie ratings on the number of viewers is found in most American films released in Korea.

  • Innovation is considered as an implemented innovation in education - in the content, methods, techniques and forms of educational activity and personality education (methods, technologies), in the content and forms of organizing the management of the educational system, as well as in the organizational structure of educational institutions, in the means of training and education and in approaches to social services in education, distance and multimedia learning, which significantly increases the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the educational process. The classification of currently known pedagogical technologies that are most often used in practice is shown. The basis of the innovative activity of a modern teacher is the formation of an innovative program-methodical complex in the discipline. Along with programmatic and content provision of disciplines, the use of informational tools and their didactic properties comes first. It combines technical capabilities - computer and video technology with live communication between the lecturer and the audience. In pedagogical innovation, the principles reflecting specific laws and regularities of the implementation of innovative processes are singled out. All principles are elements of a complex system of organization and management of innovative activities in the field of education and training. They closely interact with each other, which enhances the effect of each of them due to the synergistic effect. To improve innovative activities in the training of students, today computer technologies are widely used in pedagogy as a science, as well as directly in the practice of the pedagogical process. They have gained the most popularity in such activities as distance learning, online learning, assistance in the education management system, development of programs and virtual textbooks in various subjects, searching for information on the network for the educational process, computer testing of students' knowledge, creation of electronic libraries, formation of a unified scientific electronic environment, publication of virtual magazines and newspapers on pedagogical topics, teleconferences, expansion of international cooperation in the field of Internet education. The article considers computer technologies as the main building material for the entire society. In the modern world, there is a need to prepare a person for life in a multimedia environment. This process should be started as early as possible, because the child's contact with the media is present almost from the moment of his birth.

무용공연 관람요인에 따른 관람가치와 관람만족 관계 (The Relationship Between Viewing Value and Viewing Satisfaction According to the Factors for Viewing Dance Performances)

  • 본 연구는 무용공연의 관람요인이 관람객의 재관람의도에 미치는 영향 관계를 규명하고, 이러한 영향관계에서 관람만족과 관람가치의 구조적 관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 이러한 구조적 관계를 통하여 무용공연 관람객이 관람하는 원인이 무엇이고, 재관람을 유도할 수 있는 전략은 무엇인지를 도출하여 무용공연 관람객이 기대하는 수준 높은 공연, 공간적 변화 및 브랜딩, 차별화 전략 등의 저변 확대 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 2019년 10월 1일부터 2019년 12월 31일까지 전통 한국창작무용 공연을 관람한 관람객을 대상으로 모집단을 추출하였고, 선정된 모집단이 응답한 300부의 설문지를 분석에 사용하여 자료를 처리하였다. 자료 처리를 위하여 SPSS Ver. 21.0과 AMOS Ver. 21.0의 프로그램을 이용하였다. 2단계 접근방법을 이용하여 구조적 관계를 분석하였고, Bootstrapping을 이용하여 효과에 대한 유의성을 검증하였다. 또한 3단계 회귀 분석 매개효과를 이용하여 완전매개효과와 부분매개효과를 제시하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 무용공연의 관람요인은 관람만족과 관람가치에 영향 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 무용공연의 관람만족은 재관람의도와 영향 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 관람가치와도 영향 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 무용공연의 관람가치는 재관람의도에도 영향 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 무용공연의 관람요인과 관람가치의 관계에서 관람만족이 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 관람만족과 재관람의도의 관계에서 관람가치가 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 무용공연의 관람요인은 재관람의도에 영향 관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만, 무용공연의 관람요인과 재관람의도의 관계에서 관람만족과 관람가치가 완전매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구를 통해 무용공연은 시공간의 제약이라는 태생적 한계를 극복하고, 신속하게 대응할 수 있는 중장기적인 마케팅 전략 수립의 기초자료를 제시하여, 무용공연의 대중화 실현을 위한 환경이 마련되길 기대한다.
