Identifying Relative Importance of Quality Attributes of Dining Service for Older Adults Using Conjoint Analysis

  • Identifying quality attributes with the greatest value to the residents is important if the Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) is to increase the frequency of residents' dining. However, it is not known which specific attribute is relatively more important than others to evaluate foodservice. The purpose of this study is to identify the relative importance of food and service quality attributes in the evaluation of foodservice in CCRe. This study surveyed the independent living residents of three CCRCs in the Midwestern states. Respondents placed great importance on taste and flavor of food which has the highest percentage of utility range ($28.28\%$) and the second greatest on appearance of the server ($23.46\%$) . The important attributes were ultimately used to predict the most preferred choice of food-service for residents. Knowledge of the importance of the attributes would enable the foodservice managers in CCRCs to manipulate those attributes to enhance the residents' perceptions of quality and identify strategies for continuous improvement.

백화점 독점 수입브랜드 자산 요인에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Asset Attributions of Exclusive Imported Brands at Department Stores)

  • This study aims to clarify the asset evaluation attributes of imported brands exclusively by department stores based on qualitative study. For the qualitative research, hands-on staff of the branch office who had at least 5 years experience in PB-related positions at one of the four domestic department stores(Lotte, Shinsegae, Hyundai, Galleria), and at least 20 years old adults who had purchased imported brand items exclusively by a certain department store(Shinsegae, Lotte) were included. The asset evaluation attributes of department store-exclusively imported brands were drawn up through the one-to-one in-depth interview method. As a result of qualitative study on the asset evaluation attributes of department store-exclusive importation brands, it turned out that there were 4 factors in view of business entity - stability, profitability, growth potential, and relationship, and that there were 6 factors in view of consumers - product quality, recognition, country of origin, image, preference, and reliability. In comparison with the existing preliminary study, it was notable that relationship in view of business entity, and country of origin in view of consumers were added to the asset elements.

모자 제품의 구매 행동과 평가 기준 (Purchasing Behavior and Evaluation Criteria on Hat Products)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate empirically the consumer behavior regarding the purchase of millinery items in relation to their evaluation criterion and demographic characteristics. The survey was carried out to 395 individuals in their 20s and over who were quota sampled according to age and gender. The collected data were statistically treated with the SPSS 12.0 program in terms of descriptive statistics, cross tabulation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, factor analysis, Cronbach's $\alpha$ coefficient and Duncan-test. The 20s and 50s over were more interested in hat products than other ages. Female consumers obtained the most information about hat products from store visits, TV and magazines. On the other hand, male consumers had it from the acquaintances and internet. Younger consumers more often utilized internet to have it. Their main purchase location was department stores. The younger purchased it more in traditional market, the older purchased it more in mega wholesale market or discount store. The consumers of hat products considered the intrinsic classification most when buying hats. The evaluation criteria employed by them were aesthetics, quality, and external attributes. Hat consumers were more concerned about aesthetics attributes than the other two criteria. Female consumers and consumers who are more interested in the hat and have a higher level of education and income considered aesthetics attributes most important.

수학 인지적 속성에 따른 TIMSS 2011 8학년 성취도 상위국 특성 비교 (The Analysis of Characteristic Achievement of TIMSS 2011 G8 High-Performing Countries According to the Mathematics Cognitive Attributes)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 학생들의 수학 인지적 성취 특성을 국제수준에서 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 TIMSS 2011 평가틀과 평가문항을 바탕으로 인지적 속성을 추출하고, TIMSS 2011 8학년(중2) 수학 성취도 자료를 이용하여 우리나라를 포함한 수학 성취도 상위 15개국의 인지적 성취 특성을 비교, 분석하였다. 분석결과 TIMSS 2011의 인지영역은 9가지 인지적 속성으로 재분류되었으며, 인지적 속성에 따라 국가별로 상대적으로 쉽거나 어렵게 생각하는 경향에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 우리나라 학생들은 다른 성취도 상위국에 비해 상대적으로 회상/인식하기, 계산하기, 분류/측정하기, 표현하기를 쉽게 생각하고, 해석하기, 실행하기, 일반화하기를 어려워하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 우리나라 학생들이 어려워하는 각각의 속성에 따라 교육적 처방을 마련해야할 것이다.

  • We have developed three evaluation checklists of educational softwares for users such as, learners, teachers and parents, not for the software develops or designers. This study has especially focused on CD-ROM titles and softwares on the internet. The followings were selected as the essential attributes that the educational softwares of high quality should possess : ease of use, technical support and interest of learning for learners, educational value and smartness for teachers, packaging integrity, investment value and childproof for parents. The evaluation checklists were developed on the basis of evaluation criteria which were concretion of the essential attributes. The validity of the evaluation checklists was supported by a theoretical study for the development of ckecklists and the actual development process. The interrater reliability and the retest reliability were confirmed by statistical methods. Thus, the developed checklists can be a useful tool to evaluate educational softwares. This study will contribute to improvement of the software quality and help users in selecting educational softwares.

조직 수준의 정보시스템 품질평가 모형과 절차 개발 (Development of Organization-level Evaluation Model and Process for Information Systems Quality)

  • This study suggests the organization-level standard(model and process) for quality evaluation of information systems(IS) in non-use organizations despite international standards(ISO/IEC 9126 and ISO/IEC 14598) and national standards(KS X 9126 and KS X 14598) related to quality evaluation of IS. The standard in this study is composed of quality evaluation processes, a quality model, and quality metrics. The weights of the attributes and the sub-attributes in the quality model were calculated by an analytic hierarchy process(AHP). The minimum level and the target level of each metrics were determined by brainstorming of the committee. Furthermore, the case study for the investigation of the applicability and the usability of the suggested organizational standard in the real IS development project was performed. For gaining significant benefits of the standard, both the diffusion and the experience accumulation by its continuous use are needed.

  • 본 연구에서는 관람 전 사용자 평가를 통해 박물관 모바일 애플리케이션의 정보서비스에 대한 만족도를 비교하고, 사용성과 기능적 특성간의 상관관계를 검증했다. 빌바오 구겐하임과 미국자연사박물관 애플리케이션의 경우, 정보서비스와 기능적 특성에 대한 만족도, 관람 동기와 관람시 애플리케이션 사용에 대해 반응이 모두 높게 나타났다. 이는 사용자의 관심과 욕구를 반영될 수 있도록 모바일 애플리케이션이 직관적으로 설계 및 디자인되고, 감성적 인터페이스를 지향할 때 사용성이 상승된다는 것을 의미한다. 또한 사용성과 기능적 특성과의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 비간섭적 특성과 개인화적 특성이 다른 기능적 특성에 비해 좀 더 유의미한 상관관계에 놓여 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 도출된 하나의 중요한 시사점은 모바일 해석 매체의 사용성은 엔터테인먼트적인 요소나 기술적 적용보다는 콘텐츠와 사용자 사이에서 발생하는 인터랙션과 사용자의 관심과 욕구가 반영될 수 있는 기능적 특성에 따라 좌우 된다는 것이다.

중요도-성취도 분석에 의한 백화점 의류점포속성 평가 (Evaluation of the Clothing Store Attributes in the Department Using Importance-Performance Analysis)

  • The purpose of this study was to take the gauge of the importance-performance of the clothing store attribute in the department store. The survey was administered to customers of department stores in Deajeon city and frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and importance-performance analysis were used to analyze the data of 37 clothing store attributes. The findings of this study were as bellows: 1. 8 factors were distracted from 37 clothing store attributes by factor analysis (Factor 1: goods, Factor 2; store's facility and environment, Factor 3; salesman and service, Factor 4; brand, Factor 5; price, Factor 6; store's atmosphere, Factor 7; convenience of the transportation and access, Factor 8; promotion and advertisement) 2. as results of importance-performance analysis, 10 attributes were shown in area I (high importance and high performance) which needed a strategy of Keep Up the Good Work, 6 attributes in area II (low importance but high performance) fitted a strategy of Possible Overkill, 12 attributes in area III (high importance but low performance) corresponded to a strategy of Concentrate Here, and finally a strategy of Low Priority was needed to 9 attributes in area IV (low importance and low performance).

문화콘텐츠 가치평가의 평가모형에 관한 연구 (A Study of Evaluation Model for Culture Contents' Value Evaluation)

  • Recognizing a limits on quantitative evaluation of cultural contents' and for its betterment, study aims developing a qualitative evaluation model. For this study, Reception Theory, Semiotics and Psychology were derived for epistemological dimension to contemplate culture contents' essential attribute. To be concrete, cultural contents was examined as experiential products, emotional products, rememberable products and texts. Also, codes of fun, emotion and culture were discussed as intrinsic attributes for cultural contents and how those attributes were expressed or composed in cultural contents was discussed as well. Evaluation items were extracted based on final discussion at the epistemic level, set up the final evaluation model by taking experts' advices on each items. With all those outcomes, qualitative evaluation model for cultural contents was developed. For the importance of each index in the model, priority was granted by weighting on each index. Lastly, evaluation scale was developed for each index. The culture contents' evaluation model developed in study is meaningful not only in drawing qualitative evaluation items of video(image) contents and developing the index and model for the first time, but also its possibility of wide use for other genres.

SPA 브랜드 소비자의 감성적 소비가치 성향과 마케팅 믹스 속성 평가가 충성도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of SPA Brand Consumers' Emotional Consumption Value Orientation and Assessment of Marketing Mix Attributes on brand loyalty)

  • Emotional consumption value orientation has played a significant role to have a direct effect on making purchase in our lives. And emotional value has been dealt within the SPA brand contexts recently. Therefore, the current study investigates how SPA brand consumers' emotional value consumption orientation has affected brand loyalty, with a focus on mediation effects of marketing mix attributes assessment. Results of this research are as follows. First, there was a significant difference between Zara and Uniqlo on the assessment of marketing mix attributes. Second, emotional consumption value orientation had significantly impact on brand loyalty for both Zara and Uniqlo. Third, multi-regression analysis was conducted to find out the mediation effect of marketing mix attributes assessment in the relationships between emotional consumption value orientation and brand loyalty. For Zara, hedonic promotional and pricing attributes of products and place show full mediation effect on brand loyalty. For Uniqlo, utilitarian, hedonic and pricing attributes have impact on brand loyalty. The current study strives to find out how emotional consumption value orientation attected the consumer evaluation process and purchase behavior in the contexts of SPA brand product purchase. Product assessments have stronger effect than place, and hedonic attributes have stronger effect on brand loyalty in comparison with utilitarian attributes. Also, hedonic attributes of product and place have stronger effect on brand loyalty in comparison with utilitarian attributes.
