  • The purpose of this paper is to carry out an empirical analysis of the link that exists between microfinance and poverty alleviation. The analysis is driven by literature searches on empirical works done by different researchers in different contexts. Qualitative research methodology was adopted, following a desktop approach. An empirical literature review took a centre stage in this investigation. An analysis of empirical works shows that microfinance enhances poverty alleviation despite the challenges such as the Indian Andhra Pradesh crisis. The paper is limited to a review of empirical sources of literature. A field survey, supported by an econometric analysis would have helped to generate robust results. This paper attempts to bring together the empirical works that were done in different contexts to shed light on the important relationship between microfinance and poverty. Many research works on microfinance depend upon personal anecdotes, thus this present paper attempts to compile the scattered empirical findings on microfinance and poverty alleviation.

  • The poblem of active oise control has been analysed using a adaptive signal processing technique. In this methods, the adaptive signal processor or model predicts the primary sound wave travelling along the acoustic plant and generates the secondary source 180° out of phase which attempts to attempts to attenuate the undesired noise by destructive interference. In the solutions presented here, acoustic propagation delay is considered as a part of the model which used the FIR filter. The effects of error path and auxiliary path transfer functioin are anayzed and a new on=-line technique for error path modeling, adaptive delayed inverse modeling is presented. In this study, using these new concepts, our system can more reduce the noise level in duct to 5dB-15dB than only using LMS algorithm system.

  • Attempts to relax cross-media ownership have been made by conservative Party and leading dailies. A concern with the cross-ownership of media is predominant in media and political spheres. This article is about the media market concentration created by cross-media ownership. This essay is a response to the demand of the ruling camp that attempts to concentrate on media market, and to increase their influence. I have outlined issues of cross ownership. The finding of this research supported the rationale of ban on cross ownership of newspaper and broadcasting outlet.

  • There are many attempts to make more comfortable amenity in city districts and streets to provide a soundscape design. And the sound which reflects the culture and peculiarity of characterized the street must be preserved. Thus these attempts are recognized as another noise control to give the suitable environmental sound, not to reduce noise level. This study aims to analyze the behavior of the pedestrian and sound environment of the street sound, by measuring the sound level for the Insa-Dong Traditional Culture street. As the results, it is advisable to use the natural water sound dominating the district and to provide the staying spot to watch the event to be held. The results of this study could be used as fundamental data to recover the image of Insa-Dong Traditional Culture street to consider design concept of soundscape.

  • CD-ROM drive is improved in rotation speed up to 10,000 rpm. But Vibration and Noise are also increased simultaneously more and more. So many attempts are tried to reduce the unexpected effects. Most attempts are not enough to cover the increasement of Noise and Vibration. Merely availed tries are accumulated in many part and it makes the structure complicated. The Axiomatic approach could arrange the order of design and estimate the optimum design in good oder. In Axiomatic Approach, the composition is divided by Customer Requirement, Functional Requirement, Design Parameter and Design Matrix in large portion. This method also could show more effective way to design before making a prototype.

  • This study is implemented to find out the risk factors of adolescent suicide due to depression experiences and the factors that have effect on adolescent suicide attempt. Also it tries to figure out that if hospital treatment is enforced after a suicide attempt and the importance of prevention and therapy for adolescent suicide attempt. To analyze, used SPSS 22.0 and raw data made by online survey for adolescent health status is used. The factors effect on suicide attempt of adolescents who have had depression experience and who have not appear differently and hospital treatment is not being done well after attempting suicide. In conclusion, this study tries to show the factors that affect suicide attempts in adolescents, and to propose basis for the measures that can reduce suicide attempts in adolescents.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the experience of smoking cessation in middle and high school students who smoked or were ex-smokers. Method: Data were collected through focus group interviews with 3 groups (15 students), and were analyzed according to the analytic method of Morgan (1998) and Krueger (1998). Results: Six categories were identified. They included reasons to quit smoking, efforts to maintain smoking cessation, lures to start smoking again, improved self-esteem after overcome temptations, frustration following repeated failures in attempts to quit smoking and suggestions to help maintain smoking cessation. Through these results, it was found that reasons for quitting smoking were different from those of adults, strategies to maintain smoking cessation were limited and repeated failure in attempts to quit smoking led students to give up attempting to quit smoking. Conclusion: A high percentage of adolescent smokers want to quit but are unsuccessful in doing so. Considering the results of our analysis, smoking cessation programs and strategies should be carefully developed to be more effective in help adolescents quit smoking and maintain smoking cessation.

  • This paper attempts to provide an account for the problems of intensional opacity of referring expressions and the presupposition inheritance in the belief contexts from the discourse perspective. I discuss Jaszczolt's discourse model based on DRT to account for the belief reports. Jaszczolt analyzes referring expressions in terms of the three readings(de re, de $dicto_1$ and de $dicto_2$) and attempts to represent the differences between them in the DRS's via different anchoring modes; external anchoring, formal anchoring and nonanchoring. I propose an extended model to account for the presupposition inheritance in the belief contexts and attempt to analyze the data in Korean based on this model. The differences in the PI and in the representations of DRS's which are induced by the different complement types, ${\ldots}ko(mitta)\;and\;{\ldots}kesul(mitta)$, are discussed.

  • This research attempts to consider disasters and calamities in the process of urban planning and road design. It presents a model that copes with disaster response. This model is an integrated system that performs the collective evaluation of roads, shelters, storage reservoirs and evacuation route systems. Consequently, this research attempts to discuss major issues to apply this system to cities.

  • This article proposes a spectrum sharing method which can avoid the mutual interference in both primary and secondary systems. The two systems make them a priority to use two single-dimension orthogonal signals, the real and imaginary pulse amplitude modulation signals, if the primary system is not in outage with this use. A secondary transmitter is selected to be the primary relay and the active secondary source to perform this. This allows a simultaneous spectrum access without any mutual interference. Otherwise, the primary system attempts to use a full two-dimensional signal, the quadrature amplitude modulation signal. If there is no outage with respect to this use, the secondary spectrum access is not allowed. When both of the previous attempts fail, the secondary system is allowed to freely use the spectrum two whole time slots. The analysis and simulation are provided to analyze the outage performance and they validate the considerable improvement of the proposed method as compared to the conventional one.
