넓은 범위의 힘/모멘트비를 갖는 3분력 힘/모멘트 센서 설계 (Design of 3-component Force/Moment Sensor with Force/Moment Ratio of Wide Range)

  • This paper describes the design of 3-component force/moment sensor with the force and moment ratio of wide range. It can measure the x-direction force Fx, y-direction force Fy and z-direction moment Mz simultaneously. In order to accurately measure forces and moment using 3-component force/moment sensor, it should get suitable force and moment ratio(the ratio of force Fx=200 N and moment Mz=20 Nm is ten to one), and small interference error. In this paper, in order to design the 3-component force/moment sensor with the force and moment ratio of wide range, the procedures are performed as follow : 1) the derivation of the equations to predict the bending strains on the surfaces of the plate-beams under the force or the moments, 2) the determination of the size of the sensing elements of the force/moment sensor by using the derived equations, 3) the Finite Element Method(FEM) analysis and the characteristic test for confirming the strains from the theory analysis, 4) the selection of the attachment locations of the strain gages of each sensor, 5) the analysis of the rated strain and the interference error at the attachment location of strain gages. It reveals that the rated strains calculated from the derived equations make a good agreement with the results from the Finite Element Method analysis and the characteristic test.

고장력 철근이 적용된 철근콘크리트 보-기둥 접합부 파괴모드에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Seismic Performance of Beam-column Connections with High Strength Reinforcements)

  • Behavior of RC(Reinforced-concrete) beam-column connections has been subjected to the earthquake loading has been determined by shear and attachment mechanism. However, since the shear and attachment are very fragile for cycle loadings. Through occurring plastic hinges at the beam, the column and the connection should remain elastic condition and the beam should dissipate the energy from the earthquake. This study was investigate on the seismic performance of 6 RC beam - column connections built with the high strength reinforcements (700MPa) based on design and detailing requirements in the ACI 318-05 Provision and KCI-07 appendix II. This is aimed to evaluate the effect of the high-strength reinforcements as used the beam-column connection members. The main comparisons were the seismic performance of the connections affect the seismic performance in terms of strength, stiffness and ductility, joint shear stress-strain. A total of 6 beam-column specimens were built with a 1/2 scale and subjected to the cyclic loadings. Main design considerations were the area of the longitudinal reinforcements of the beam and details of the beam-column joint designed based on the seismic code. Cyclic test results are given and recommendations for the usage of high strength reinforcements for the seismic design is provided.

  • In this task, the tool dynamometer design and manufacture, and the Ansys S/W structural analysis program for tool attachment that satisfies the cutting force measurement requirements of the tool dynamometer system are used to determine the cutting force generated by metal cutting using 3-axis static structural analysis and the LabVIEW system. The cutting power in a cutting process using a milling tool for processing metals provides useful information for understanding the processing, optimization, tool status monitoring, and tool design. Thus, various methods of measuring cutting power have been proposed. The device consists of a strain-gauge-based sensor fitted to a new design force sensing element, which is then placed in a force reduction. The force-sensing element is designed as a symmetrical cross beam with four arms of a rectangular parallel line. Furthermore, data duplication is eliminated by the appropriate setting the strain gauge attachment position and the construction of a suitable Wheatstone full-bridge circuit. This device is intended for use with rotating spindles such as milling tools. Verification and machining tests were performed to determine the static and dynamic characteristics of the tool dynamometer. The verification tests were performed by analyzing the difference between strain data measured by weight and that derived by theoretical calculations. Processing test was performed by attaching a tool dynamometer to the MCT to analyze data generated by the measuring equipment during machining. To maintain high productivity and precision, the system monitors and suppresses process disturbances such as chatter vibration, imbalances, overload, collision, forced vibration due to tool failure, and excessive tool wear; additionally, a tool dynamometer with a high signal-to-noise ratio is provided.

사이클링 스마트웨어 제작을 위한 빕 팬츠 디자인 및 패턴 개발 (Development of Bib Pants Design and Pattern for Cycling Smart Wear)

  • In this study, a cycling smart wear for measuring cycling posture and motion was developed using a three-dimensional motion analysis camera and an IMU inertial sensor. Results were compared according to parts to derive the optimal smart device attachment location, enabling correct posture measurement and cycle motion analysis to design a pattern. Conclusions were as follows: 1) 'S-T8' > 'S-T10' > 'S-L4' was the most significant area for each lumbar spine using a 3D motion analysis system with representative posture change (90°, 60°, 30°) to derive incisions and size specifications; 2) the part with the smallest relative angle change among significant section reference points during pattern design was applied as a reference point for attaching a cycling smart device to secure detachable safety of the device. Optimal locations for attaching the cycling device were the "S-L4" hip bone (Sacrum) and lumbar spine No. 4 (Lumbar 4th); 3) the most suitable sensor attachment location for monitoring knee induction-abduction was the anatomical location of the rectus femoris; 4) a cycling smart wear pattern was developed without incision in the part where the sensor and electrode passed. The wearing was confirmed with 3D CLO. This study aims to provide basic research on exercise analysis smart wear, to expand the smart cycling area that could only be realized with smart devices and smart watches attached to current cycles, and to provide an opportunity to commercialize it as cycling smart wear.

거창 모현정과 수포대의 장소착근(場所着根) 방식 (The Modes of Place Rootedness on Geochang Mohyeonjeong and Supodae)

  • 본 연구는 경남 거창군 가조면에 위치한 모현정과 수포대를 통해 장소애착과 장소착근의 문화현상이 어떠한 방법으로 구현되고 있는지를 실증적으로 확인하고자 하였다. 모현정과 수포대가 입지한 지명 '대학동(大學洞)'에서는 동방오현인 한훤당(寒暄堂) 김굉필(金宏弼)과 일두 정여창(鄭汝昌)의 도학(道學) 강론 터의 의미가 부여되어 있으며, 모현정을 품은 오도산(吾道山 1,134m) 또한 상기 선현이 베푸는 학문의 영향으로 산 이름조차 유교의 도(道)를 지칭한 '오도(吾道) 산(山)'으로 전환된 것에서 성리학적 발상이 깊이 내재되어 있음을 발견하게 된다. "현인을 사모하고 그리워"한다는 '모현(慕賢)'의 정명(亭名)에는 영남사림의 성리학적 조종(祖宗)이자 동방오현인 훤두 양선생(兩先生)과 선조 평촌(坪村) 최숙량(崔淑梁)을 숭모하고 추념하기 위한 장소애착의 정서가 수렴되어 있다. 더불어 오도재와 평촌을 추모하기 위한 기적비(紀蹟碑)와 한훤당을 상징하는 감나무의 식재 그리고 모현정 전면에 솟은 지동암은 실천을 통해 도학의 정신을 드러내고자 한 상기 3인의 일치된 의지를 상징하는 기념비적 표상으로, 후손 및 사림에 의한 장소애착의 반복적 표현이라는 점에 동의하게 된다. 다년간 강학(講學)하며 성리학을 향토 선비들에게 전하고, 자연을 노래한 명소 수포대 반석에 새긴 '훤두양선생장구지소'와 '평촌최공강학지소(坪村崔公講學地所)'라는 각자의 의미에서 집단 기억 속에 재생 전승되어 온 고유한 장소의미를 확인하게 된다. 이와 함께 모현정에 게판된 시문과 중수기 및 상량문의 장소언어 대부분이 모현정과 수포대에 대한 연원과 역사성을 환기시키는 내용으로 채워져 있음에서 '강학과 교유의 장'이자 장수지소(藏修之所)로서 각인된 공간 의미와 선현 숭모의 정신을 엿볼 수 있다. 이러한 장소전승은 장소에 대한 긍정적 감정 결속의 결과이며, 장소 정착과정을 통해 생긴 자연발생적 장소착근의 결과로 이루어진 산물이 모현정과 수포대라 할 수 있다. 이와 같은 결과를 종합할 때, 모현정과 수포대는 선현의 발자취를 추념하고 알리기 위한 장소애착의 공간이며, 모현정과 수포대 바위각자는 이곳에 누적된 장소의미를 함축적으로 보여주는 장소착근의 대표적 사례라 할만하다. 장소애착과 장소착근의 과정을 되짚어보는 것은 전통적 기념 공간 및 추모공원의 원형적 모습을 유추하는데 유효할 뿐만 아니라 현대적 의미의 장소 재현을 위해서도 매우 시사적이라 판단된다.

Design and Experimental Implementation of Easily Detachable Permanent Magnet Reluctance Wheel for Wall-Climbing Mobile Robot

  • In this paper, we propose a new design of the permanent magnet reluctance wheel which will make it possible to attach the robot to a vertical plane and move it. In the newly suggested design, a permanent magnet is utilized to enhance the adhesive force during attachment, and an electromagnet is produced to weaken the magnetic field of the permanent magnet and reduce the adhesive force for easier detachment of wheels from steel plates. To characterize the performance of this new wheel design, a 3-D finite element analysis is executed using a commercial FE program. The results show that the adhesive force is reduced effectively by the electromagnet which flows in the reverse direction of the magnetic loop of the permanent magnet when the current is supplied to the coil.

Optimization of the Spring Design Parameters of a Circuit Breaker to Satisfy the Specified Dynamic Characteristics

  • A spring-actuated linkage system is used to satisfy the desired opening and closing characteristics of the electric contacts of a vacuum circuit breaker. If the type of a circuit breaker and the structure of the linkage system are predetermined, then design parameters such as stiffness, free length and attachment points of the spring become the important issues. In this paper, based on the energy conservation, the total system energy is constant throughout the operating range of the mechanism; a systematic procedure to optimize the spring design parameters is developed and applied to a simplified mechanism of a circuit breaker. The developed procedure is converted to the environment of the multi-body dynamics program, ADAMS for an in-depth consideration of the complex dynamics of a circuit breaker mechanism.

If the type and structure of the linkage system required to the circuit breaker is predetermined, the stiffness, free length and attachment points of a spring become the important design parameters. In this paper, based on the energy conservation that the total system energy is constant throughout the operating range of the mechanism, a systematic procedure for optimizing the spring design parameters is developed and applied to the simplified mechanism of a circuit breaker. Then, in order to consider the complex dynamics of the circuit breaker mechanism rather well, the developed procedure is converted to the environment of a multi-body dynamics program ADAMS.

모바일미디어 이용자의 소유인식과 상호작용성 구성요인이 모바일광고 수용에 미치는 영향 (Effect of User Possession Attachment and Characteristics of Mobile Media on Acceptance of Mobile AD)

  • 본 연구는 모바일 미디어를 통하여 나타나는 확장된 개인의 자아 형성을 여러 관점에서 다양하게 논의하고자 한다. 구체적으로 모바일 미디어의 개인적 특성과 사회적 특성에 따라 모바일 광고 수용에 영향을 미치는 정도를 실증적으로 밝히고자 한다. 특히 주목할 점은 개인이 자신만을 위한 모바일 기기를 소유함으로서 소유인식이나 자아에 영향을 주는 개인의 사회적 차원에 주목하고자 한다. 연구결과 모바일 미디어 사용에서 개인적 이용특성과 사회적 이용 특성과정을 고려할 필요가 있음을 밝혔으며, 가설 검증 결과 모바일의 이용으로 발생하는 사회적 특성과 개인적 특성이 광고인식에 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회적 특성이 보다 개인적 특성이 상대적으로 영향력을 더 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 광고인식의 발생에 있어서 기능중심의 개인적 특징이 광고에 대한 지각이나 노출이라는 측면에서 영향력이 큰 반면 사회적 특징과 관계적 특징이 향 후 내면적 인식에 따른 상호작용성에 중요한 역할을 함을 시사하고 있다.

저소득 가정 영유아 건강 프로그램이 어머니의 양육지식, 행동, 자신감 및 가정환경에 미치는 효과 (Effects of an Infant/Toddler Health Program on Parenting Knowledge, Behavior, Confidence, and Home Environment in Low-income Mothers)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of a mother/infant-toddler health program developed to enhance parenting knowledge, behavior and confidence in low income mothers and home environment. Methods: A one-group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design was used. Sixty-nine dyads of mothers and infant-toddlers (aged 0-36 months) were provided with weekly intervention for seven session. Each session consisted of three parts; first, educating to increase integrated knowledge related to the development of the infant/toddler including nutrition, first aid and home environment; second, counseling to share parenting experience among the mothers and to increase their nurturing confidence; third, playing with the infant/toddler to facilitate attachment-based parenting behavior for the mothers. Results: Following the programs, there were significant increases in parenting knowledge on nutrition and first aid. A significant improvement was found in attachment-based parenting behavior, but not in home safety practice. Nurturing confidence was not significantly increased. The program led to more positive home environment for infant/toddler's health and development. Conclusion: The findings provide evidence for mother-infant/toddler health program to improve parenting knowledge, attachment-based parenting behavior and better home environment in low income mothers. Study of the long term effectiveness of this program is recommended for future research.
