Introduction: Human attachment is known to be closely associated with psychophysiological phenomenon. However, there have not been enough researches on the relationship of the attachment with sleep, especially with insomnia. The objective of the present study was to investigate the relationship between adult attachment styles and insomnia in community-dwelling population. Methods: One hundred seventy seven community-dwelling adults (74 males and 103 females;mean age $41.23{\pm}8.44$) participated in the current study. To assess the attachment styles (secure, dismissing, preoccupied and fearful), self-reporting Relationship Style Questionnaires (RSQ) were completed by the participants. Presence, type, frequency and duration of insomnia in the last month were also investigated. Results: Compared to subjects without insomnia, subjects with insomnia had higher fearful attachment scores (t=2.87, p=0.005). Higher fearful attachment score were found in all subtypes of insomnia (sleep-onset insomnia, t=2.33, p=0.021;maintenance insomnia, t=2.92, p=0.004;terminal insomnia, t=2.89, p=0.004). Subjects with frequent (${\ge}3$ per week) insomnia had higher fearful attachment scores than subjects with infrequent (${\le}2$ per week) insomnia (t=2.57, p=0.012). In addition, subjects with chronic insomnia (${\ge}6$ months) had higher preoccupied attachment scores relative to subjects with transient insomnia (<6 months), (t=2.57, p=0.012). Conclusion: In the current study, attachment styles were different depending on the characteristics of insomnia. The fearful attachment was associated with the presence of insomnia, while the preoccupied attachment was associated with the chronicity of insomnia. These findings suggest that there may be some relationship between the adult attachment styles and the clinical features of insomnia.
Due to long-term social distancing due to the spread of COVID-19, business trends of restaurant companies are being implemented in accordance with the changed environment such as packaging and subscription. However, even in this environment, upscale restaurants are generating high profits by trying to differentiate themselves from existing restaurants by providing high-quality services with the best facilities. Therefore, this study describes how customers' experience of upscale restaurant service influences behavioral loyalty. That is, the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of service experience on cognitive satisfaction and emotional attachment, and to examine the causal role of cognitive satisfaction and emotional attachment by confirming the relationship between these constructs and relationship commitment and behavioral loyalty. To verify this, data were collected through face-to-face interviews with 300 consumers who recently used a upscale restaurant. Of the collected data, 275 copies(91.6%) were used for the final analysis, and inaccurate or erroneous data among 25 response sheets were excluded. In this study, the validity and reliability of the data were checked and the research hypothesis was verified by using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 20 statistical package. Frequency analysis was performed to confirm the demographic characteristics of the respondent. Structural equation model analysis(SEM) was used to confirm the fit of the research model and to verify the research hypothesis. As a result of the research hypothesis analysis, it was found that service experience had a positive effect on cognitive satisfaction, and cognitive satisfaction had a positive effect on emotional attachment, relationship commitment, and behavioral loyalty. Also, it was found that emotional attachment had a positive effect on relationship commitment and behavioral loyalty, and relationship commitment had a positive effect on behavioral loyalty. However, service experience did not affect emotional attachment. With this study, marketers and managers of upscale restaurants such as hotel restaurants need to accurately select their target audience, understand their service needs, and then present the appropriate service to them. In addition, they should not only induce cognitive satisfaction by providing excellent service to their customers, but also identify moments of truth and present appropriate services so that satisfied customers can strengthen their emotional attachment. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen the relationship with their firms by forming friendly relationships with customers who have high emotional attachment, and also to induce relationship commitment so that such customers have a strong sense of belonging and attachment to their firms.
This study proposes a new framework for designing disassembly methods. In recent years, environmental problems have become global issues. Recycling of used products or resources is recognized as a matter of significance since it may help reduce the risk of exhausting natural resources. Considering possible exhaustion of limited natural resources in the near future, reuse of products would gain more environmental significance. As yet, it relies hugely on manual disassembly, which labor cost places burden on the total recycling cost. The purpose of this study is to propose a methodology designing for manual disassembly works, and a creation method of a jig. By focusing on parts' connection and attachment relationship, parts are categorized in 5 categories (parent part, joint key part, attaching key part, child part, and independent part) according to the features that parts possess, and 3 kinds of connection relationships (parent part-joint key part connection, parent part-independent part connection and child part-child part connection) are clarified. Connection relationship and attachment relationship charts have also been created, and utilizing them, disassembly orders are settled, and a disassembly jig is devised. The proposed methodology is also applied to a real product and its work time is improved 42% form 31 to 13 seconds.
The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of the fear of compassion and the difficulties of emotional regulation on the relationship between attachment trauma and interpersonal problems. The participants in this study were 296 Korean university students. The participants completed self-report questionnaires that assessed their attachment trauma, fear of compassion, emotional regulation difficulties, and interpersonal problems. Those with high attachment trauma had significantly more interpersonal problems, fear of compassion from others, fear of self-compassion, and emotional regulation difficulties than those with low attachment trauma. Further, fear of compassion and difficulties in emotional regulation were shown to fully mediate and fully dual-mediate the relationship between attachment trauma and interpersonal problems. These findings suggest that attachment trauma affects the degree to which university students experience interpersonal problems and that fear of compassion and emotional regulation difficulties may be the mechanism underlying that relationship. This paper discusses several limitations of this study and areas for future research.
The purpose of this study was to identify the mediating effect of job-seeking stress between parent attachment and internet addiction. A total of 202 college students participated in this study. The mediating effect was analyzed through SPSS Macro and bootstrapping analysis. As a result of analysis, first, parent attachment had a significant negative effect on the job-seeking stress and internet addiction. Second, job-seeking stress had significant mediating effect within the relationship of parent attachment and internet addiction. Third, job-seeking anxiety had significant mediating effect within the relationship of parent attachment and internet addiction. Therefore, if students perceive a sense of attachment from parents, decrease the chances of internet addiction. When college students job-seeking stress occurs, and if they don't feel attachment from their parents suggests that the higher the chances of internet addiction. In addition, this implication and suggestions for future research are provided.
The aim of this study is to explore the structural relationship between recognition to environmental factor and place attachment of the users of temple forest trail in Gyeongju National Park, and to suggest political implications on conservation management of National Park from the viewpoint of landscape attachment. Survey with a structured questionnaire was implemented to visitors to the Bulkuksa, a representative temple in Geyongju National Park. Structural equation model was developed from the analysis of collected data. Results showed that place dependence positively affected place attachment in significance, whereas place identity did not significantly affect place attachment. Place attachment was affected rather by place dependence(path coefficient=0.55). Place attachment positively affected the recognition of environmental factors in significance. Landscape use factors compared to facility use factors were affected rather by place attachment(path coefficient=1.01). This result verified the importance of landscape factors of National Park, and suggested a management plan focused on the landscape conservation of forest trail of traditional temple.
Purpose: This study was performed to investigate the quantities of three neo-maternal exposures; visiting frequency, auditory contact and physical contact, and to examine the relationship between the quantities of each exposure and maternal attachment, maternal self-esteem and postpartum depression in 40 mothers of NICU babies during the first week in the NICU. Method: Each neo-maternal exposure was counted at every mother's visit to the newborn and maternal attachment, maternal self-esteem and postpartum depression were measured using the maternal attachment inventory, the maternal self-report inventory and Edinburgh Postpartum Depression Scale (EPDS) on the first and seventh day in the NICU. Result: The Mean of each neo-maternal exposure was 8.77(2.81) for the visiting frequency, 5.82(3.66) for the auditory contact and 5.60(2.89) for the physical contact during 7 days in the NICU. No significant changes were found in the scores of maternal attachment, maternal self-esteem and postpartum depression between the first and the seventh day in the NICU. The quantities of neo-maternal exposures were positively related to the scores of maternal attachment and maternal self-esteem but not related to postpartum depression. Conclusion: The results of the study suggest the lack of early neo-maternal exposure in cases of NICU hospitalization negate its beneficial effects on maternal psychological well-being in increasing maternal attachment and self-esteem. More efforts are neededfor the neo-maternal interaction and the reevaluation of NICU visitation hours in order to promote maternal-infant interaction.
The present study examined the mediating effects of self-esteem on the relationships between adult attachment and smartphone addiction. Participants were recruited from universities in a number of cities in Korea and they were given the survey including instruments that measured adult attachment, self-esteem, and smartphone addiction. Total 230 participants' data were analyzed and the results indicated anxious attachment was significantly positively correlated with smartphone addiction but negatively associated with self-esteem. Avoidant attachment was only negatively associated with self-esteem. Furthermore, self-esteem partially mediated the relationship between anxious attachment and smartphone addiction. Current findings can contribute to the development of the effective prevention/intervention programs of smart phone addiction for a young adults.
Purpose: This study aims to empirically analyze fans' responses to the types of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities implemented by the citizens professional football club and seek strategic measures for the continuous growth of the club and the formation of long-term relationships with fans. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between regional attachment and expansion of fans according to the type of CSR activities of the club, and to examine influencing relationships among the types of CSR activities, regional attachment, and expansion of fans. Research design, data, and methodology: To achieve the purpose of the study, the survey was conducted on 150 home spectators of Seongnam Football Club, and the analysis of the data was conducted using SPSS Window Version 21.0. Correlation analysis, simple regression analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted to analyze the relationship between regional attachment and expansion of fans according to the types of CSR activities performed by the Seongnam Citizens Football Club. Results: As a result of the analysis, it was found that CSR activities had a statistically significant effect on regional attachment. In addition, CSR activities were found to have a statistically significant effect on expansion of fans. Finally, it was found that regional attachment had a statistically significant effect on the expansion of fans. Conclusions: Based on these results, CSR activities of the professional football club are considered an opportunity to build regional attachment. In addition, it is thought that the expansion of fans can be achieved through CSR activities.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among children's perceived parental attachment, parental happiness, and children's autonomy, and to find out in detail the influence of parental attachment and parental happiness on children's autonomy. Frequency analysis and descriptive statistical analysis were performed on data from the 12th year of the Korean Children's Panel (2019), and Pearson's moment correlation coefficient was calculated for correlation analysis between variables. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the influence of parental attachment and parental happiness on children's autonomy. The research results were as follows. First, parental attachment perceived by children, parental happiness, and children's autonomy were all positively correlated. Second, among the sub-variables of parental attachment, maternal trust, paternal trust, and maternal communication were found to have an influence, and only maternal happiness was found to have an effect on parental happiness. This means that parental attachment acts as a more important variable than parental happiness. Therefore, we need constant attention and effort to support children in a more intimate and stable relationship with their parents so that they can gain life satisfaction through active and proactive choices and decisions.
