높은 도착효율을 가지는 회전형 정전 도장기기의 개발 (Development of the Rotary Electrostatic Painting Equipment with High Transfer Efficiency)

  • A new electrostatic rotary atomizing painting equipment using air turbine was developed for high transfer efficiency. Based on the overall design requirements of painting equipment, basic design specifications of the equipment parts such as air turbine and atomizing disk ate defined from the present conceptual design model. Air turbine is designed with the section profile of NACA airfoil, and its internal flow field is analyzed by commercial CFD code. Atomizing disk is designed to achieve the ligament type spray of paint with the use of visualization technique. Various experiments and tests are conducted to investigate the spray and the transfer characteristics of newly-designed painting equipment, and the measurement results are compared with the those of conventional painting equipments. The comparison results show the present painting equipment is superior to the conventional ones in the aspects of transfer efficiency and coating surface characteristics.

회전원반분사법에 의한 CuA1Ni계 합금 분말제조 (Powder Production of CuAINi Base Alloy via Rotating Disk Atomization)

  • Atomizing mode and powder characteristics of CuA1Ni base shape memory alloy in rotating disk atomization were investigated in accordance with disk materials and additional elements. Produced powders were classified into two types of spherical and flake shape. In the case of CuAlNiBTi and CuAlNiZr alloy, high yield rate and fine powder were obtained. This tendency was same when we used oxide coated disks. We concluded that this results were steno from the wetting characteristics change between molten metal and disk surface. Especially, due to the reactive properties of Ti and Zr with ceramic disk, the change of atomizing appearance and powder characteristics were noticeable.

  • 회전형 도장기기의 핵심 부품인 공기 터빈 및 무화 디스크 설계를 위한 기본 설계개념 및 방법을 제시하였고, 이를 이용하여 도장기기를 설계, 제작하였다. 제작된 도장기기의 회전수 및 유량의 측정 결과는 전산유체역 학적 해와 잘 일치하였다. 또한 공기 터빈 및 디스크 설계 사양에 따라 도장기기의 회전수가 현저히 변화됨을 알 수 있었고, 공기 터빈의 유로 기울기 $20^{\circ}$, 노즐 수 2개일 때의 도장기기 성능이 가장 우수하였다.

  • Supersonic axisymmetric jets issuing from various kinds of nozzles with a throat diameter of a few millimeters were experimentally investigated. The exit Mach number and Reynolds number based on the throat diameter of nozzle were in the range of 1.0 ~ 5.9 and 8.4$\times$ $10^4$ ~ 2.9$\times$$10^6$, respectively. The nozzle pressure ratio was varied from 5 to 85. Present paper aims to offer fundamental information of the supersonic free-jets, with an emphasis to give data with which the shape of the free-jets can be depicted under a specified condition. Experimental data are summarized to enable an estimation of the shape of the supersonic free-jets. The result shows that the shape of free-jets is dependent on only the nozzle pressure ratio.

  • Gun-type nozzle에 있어서 입자(粒子)의 미립화(微粒化)를 개선(改善)코저 절선속도(切線速度)를 증가(增加)하는 방법(方法)의 일환(一環)으로 Screw 중자(中子)를 제작(製作) 장치(裝置)한 Nozzle로 실내(室內)에서 분무실험(噴霧實驗)한 결과(結果) 다음과 같은 결론(結論)을 얻었다. 분무입자(噴霧粒子)의 직경(直徑)이 클수록 분무도달거리(噴霧到達距離)는 컸으며 Screw중자(中子)를 장치(裝置)하였을 때가 장치(裝置)하지 않았을 때에 비(比)하여 분무입자(噴霧粒子)의 미립화(微粒化)는 현저히 양호(良好)하였고 분무도달거리(噴霧到達距離)는 분구(噴口)가 소구경시(小口徑時)에는 거의 차이(差異)가 없었으나 분구(噴口)가 증대(增大)함에 따라서 현저히 짧아졌다. 최고(最高) 도달거리(到達距離) 지점(地點)부터 1~2m의 분무도달거리(噴霧到達距離)에 있어서는 기류부유이동(氣流浮遊移動)의 현상(現象)으로 분무입자(噴霧粒子)가 작아졌다.
