  • The web uses an asynchronous web method to provide various information having different processing speeds together. The asynchronous method has the advantage of being able to respond to other events even before the task is completed, but a typical crawler has difficulty collecting information provided asynchronously by collecting point-of-visit information on a web page. In addition, asynchronous web pages often do not change their web address even if the page content is changed, making it difficult to crawl. In this paper, we propose a web crawling algorithm considering asynchronous page movement by analyzing links in the web. With the proposed algorithm, it was possible to collect dictionary information on TTA terms that provide information asynchronously.

  • In the agricultural field, interests in research using robots for fruit harvesting are continuously increasing. Dual arm manipulators are promising because of its abilities like task-distribution and role-sharing. To operate it efficiently, the task sequence must be planned adequately. In our previous study, a collision-free path planning method based on a genetic algorithm is proposed for dual arm manipulators doing tasks cooperatively. However, in order to simplify the complicated collision-check problem, the movement between tasks of two robots should be synchronized, and thus there is a problem that the robots must wait and resume their movement. In this paper, we propose a heuristic algorithm that can reduce the total time of the optimal solution obtained by using the previously proposed genetic algorithm. It iteratively desynchronizes the task sequence of two robots and reduces the waiting time. For evaluation, the proposed algorithm is applied to the same work as the previous study. As a result, we can obtain a faster solution having 22.57 s than that of the previous study having 24.081 s. It will be further studied to apply the proposed algorithm to the fruit harvesting.

  • Francis turbines are often operated over a wide load range due to high flexibility in electricity demand and penetration of other renewable energies. This has raised significant concerns about the existing designing criteria. Hydraulic turbines are not designed to withstand large dynamic pressure loadings on the stationary and rotating parts during such conditions. Previous investigations on transient operating conditions of turbine were mainly focused on the pressure fluctuations due to the rotor-stator interaction. This study characterizes the synchronous and asynchronous pressure and velocity fluctuations due to rotor-stator interaction and rotating vortex rope during load variation, i.e. best efficiency point to part load and vice versa. The measurements were performed on the Francis-99 test case. The repeatability of the measurements was estimated by providing similar movement to guide vanes twenty times for both load rejection and load acceptance operations. Synchronized two dimensional particle image velocimetry and pressure measurements were performed to investigate the dominant frequencies of fluctuations, vortex rope formation, and modes (rotating and plunging) of the rotating vortex rope. The time of appearance and disappearance of rotating and plunging modes of vortex rope was investigated simultaneously in the pressure and velocity data. The asynchronous mode was observed to dominate over the synchronous mode in both velocity and pressure measurements.

  • The main purpose of this study is to develop an algorithm to solve the scheduling problems of FMS using Petri-net is well suited to model the dynamics of FMS and Petri-net is an ideal tool to formulate scheduling problems with routing flexibility and shared resources. By using the marking of Petri-net, We can model features of discrete even system, such as concurrency, asynchronous, conflict and non-determinism. The proposed algorithm in this paper can handle back-tracking using the marking of Petri-net. The results of the experiment show that marking is one of the best ways that describe exactly movement of the discrete event system. To show the effectiveness of the algorithm suggested here, we compare it with L1 algorithm using the Petri-net through the test on randomly generated test problems.

  • Purpose: Purpose: The usability of a mathematical model modified for analysis of the static stability of an asymmetric tractor-harvester system was investigated. Method: The modified asynchronous mathematical model was validated through empirical experiments, and the effects of movements of the center of gravity (CG) coordinates on the stability against lateral overturning were analyzed through simulations. Results: Changes in the lateral overturning angle of the system were investigated when the coordinates of the CG of the system were moved within the variable range. The errors between simulation results and empirical experiments were compared, and the results were -4.7% at the left side overturning and -0.1% at the right side overturning. The asymmetric system was characterized in such a way that the right side overturning had an increase in overturning angle in the (+) variable range, while it had a decrease in overturning angle in the (-) variable range. In addition, the left side overturning showed an opposite result to that of the right side. At the declination angle (296<${\gamma}$<76), the right side overturning had an increase in the maximum overturning angle of 3.6%, in the minimum overturning angle of 20.3%, and in the mean overturning angle of 15.9%. Furthermore, at the declination angle (284<${\gamma}$<64), the left side overturning had a decrease in the maximum overturning angle of 29.2%, in the minimum overturning angle of 44%, and in a mean overturning angle of 39.7%. Conclusion: The modified mathematical model was useful for predicting the overturning angle of the asymmetric tractor-harvester system, and verified that a movement of the CG coordinates had a critical effect on its stability. In particular, the left side overturning was the most vulnerable to stability, regardless of the direction of declination angle.

  • This paper presents the use of the Petri Net Method for modeling railway tracks. The Petri Net is defined as having the characteristics of a parallel, asynchronous, distributed, inconclusive, statistical, etc. information handling system and is a graphical mathematical modeling tool to study the specifics of active movement. It's proven use can be seen at the Korean type Light Rail testing tracks where they modelled the Petri Net method using the train track encasing the segment, track, turnout, and platform as a singular factor and even though two trains either travelling in the same or opposite directions on a single test track equipped with a sidetrack can travel with the guarantee that the two will not collide.

  • The phase error generated in the transmission system affects the performance of digital transmission signal. The phase error are generated by random phase noise and tracking phase error due to denier phenomenon. In the mobile satellite communication system that generates the doppler frequency, which is a system with a movement, the proper system phase noise spectrum should be designed based on analyses for phase noise and static phase error effects. Based on the analyses of the doppler frequency and the phase error for bilateral satellite communication system providing an asynchronous service, the phase noise spectrums for the mobile satellite communication are designed in this paper. Also, the available transmission services under the less doppler effect are proposed and the proper signal source units for a required transmission system can be designed under the proposed system phase noise spectrum.

  • Energy efficiency in wireless sensor networks is a principal issue to prolong applications to track the movement of the large-scale phenomena. It is a selective wakeup approach that is an effective way to save energy in the networks. However, most previous studies with the selective wakeup scheme are concentrated on individual objects such as intruders and tanks, and thus cannot be applied for tracking continuous objects such as wild fire and poison gas. This is because the continuous object is pretty flexible and volatile due to its sensitiveness to surrounding circumferences so that movable area cannot be estimated by the just spatiotemporal mechanism. Therefore, we propose a cluster-based algorithm for applying the efficient and more accurate technique to the continuous object tracking in enough dense sensor networks. Proposed algorithm wakes up the sensors in unit cluster where target objects may be diffused or shrunken. Moreover, our scheme is asynchronous because it does not need to calculate the next area at the same time.

  • Cerebral palsy is one of the most serious forms of disorders of the psychophysical development of children, which manifests itself in disturbances of motor functions, which are often combined with speech disorders, other complications of the formation of higher mental functions, and often with a decrease in intelligence. The article will discuss the speech disorder in children with cerebral palsy. Emphasis is placed on some important aspects, which should bear in mind, investigating the problem of specifics of speech development of children with cerebral palsy. In particular at the heart of speech disorders in the cerebral palsy is not only damage to certain structures of the brain, but also the later formation or underdevelopment of those parts of the cerebral cortex, which are of major importance in linguistic and mental activity. This is an ontogenetically young region of the cerebral cortex, which is most rapidly developing after birth (premotor, frontal, temmono-temporal). It is important to take into account, that children with cerebral palsy have disturbances of phonemic perception. Often, children do not distinguish between hearing sounds, cannot repeat component rows, allocate sounds in words. At dysarthria, there are violations of pronunciation of vowel and consonant sounds, tempo of speech, modulation of voice, breathing, phonation, as well as asynchronous breathing, alignment and articulation. As a result, we identified the main features and specifics of the speech development of children with cerebral palsy and described the conditions necessary for the full development of language. Language disturbances in children's cerebral palsy depend on the localization and severity of brain damage. Great importance in the mechanism of speech disorders has a pathology that limits the ability of movement and knowledge of the world.
