조립블록 저장위치 할당문제에 대한 재고찰 (On the Assembly Block Storage Location Assignment Problem)

  • We revisit the assembly block storage location assignment problem (ABSLAP) at a shipyard, in order to compensate for the deficiency in performance verification of the heuristic ABSLAP algorithm developed by the previous study. In this paper, we formulate a mathematical programming model of the ABSLAP, refine elaborately the heuristic ABSLAP algorithm, and show the performance of the developed mathematical programming model and the revised heuristic ABSLAP algorithm. In addition, we explain simulation experiments conducted using the revised heuristic ABSLAP algorithm to investigate the influences of block stockyard layouts and production schedule instability on the block stockyard operations.

대중교통 통행배정모형의 통행비용함수 분석 (A Study on Travel Cost Function of Transit Assignment Model)

  • This paper suggests improvements in travel cost function of transit assignment model by analysing existing model. Two types of travel cost function are widely used for congested public networks. The one is used for strictly restricting public transport capacity. Another is non-decreasing function such as BPR function. In this paper, we analyse two types of travel cost function in case of intercity rail. The characteristics of intercity rail are different from those of public transit in urban area. Therefore travel cost function must be differently applied in each case.

명중률의 불확실성을 고려한 추계학적 무장-표적 할당 문제 (Stochastic Weapon Target Assignment Problem under Uncertainty in Targeting Accuracy)

  • We consider a model that minimizes the total cost incurred by assigning available weapons to existing targets in order to reduce enemy threats, which is called the weapon target assignment problem (WTAP). This study addresses the stochastic versions of WTAP, in which data, such as the probability of destroying a target, are given randomly (i.e., data are identified with certain probability distributions). For each type of random data or parameter, we provide a stochastic optimization model on the basis of the expected value or scenario enumeration. In particular, when the probabilities of destroying targets depending on weapons are stochastic, we present a stochastic programming formulation with a simple recourse. We show that the stochastic model can be transformed into a deterministic equivalent mixed integer programming model under a certain discrete probability distribution of randomness. We solve the stochastic model to obtain an optimal solution via the mixed integer programming model and compare this solution with that of the deterministic model.

통행시간변화를 고려하는 신뢰도통행배정모형 개발 (Development of the Reliability Traffic Assignment Model based on the Travel Time Variation)

  • 교통혼잡이 만연된 도로와 교통혼잡이 발생하지 않는 도로에서는 운전자의 통행행태가 서로 다르다. 교통혼잡이 만연된 도로의 운전자는 자신이 선택할 경로가 혼잡으로 인해 발생할 통행시간변화를 우선 고려하여 경로를 선택한다. 본 연구에서는 통행시간변화를 고려하는 운전자의 경로선택행위를 모사하기 위하여 통행시간신뢰도를 새롭게 정의하고 신뢰도 통행배정모형을 정립하였다. 통행시간신뢰도는 통행시간변화의 정도에 의해서 결정되는 함수이며, 통행시간변화는 도로용량과 교통량의 함수이다. 본 연구에서는 신뢰도 통행배정모형을 이용하여 통행시간신뢰도를 극대화하기 위해 경로를 선택하는 운전자의 통행행태를 모사하였고, 그 해가 Wardrop의 균형상태를 만족시킴을 증명하였다. 그리고 가상 가로망을 대상으로 기존의 통행시간 통행배정모형과 비교, 분석하였다.

Multi-level & Multi-bandwidth 시스템에서 위성중계기 입력반송파 전력의 최적 할당 기법 (A Method for Optimal Power Assignment of the Transponder Input Carriers in the Multi-level & Multi-bandwidth System)

  • This paper suggests a method for optimal power assignment of the satellite transponder input carriers in the Multi-level & Multi-bandwidth system. The interference and the noise effects analyzed for the optimal power assignment are intermodulation product caused by the nonlinear transponder characteristics, adjacent channel interference, co-channel interference, and thermal noise in the satellite link. The Fletcher- Powell algorithm is used to determine the optimal input carrier power. The performance criteria for optimal power assignment is classified into 4 categories according to the CNR of destination receiver earth station to meet the requirement for various satellite link environment. We have performed mathematical analysis of objective functions and their derivatives for use in the Fletcher-Powell algorithm, and presented various simulation results based on mathematical analysis. Since the satellite link, it is meaningful to model and analyze these effects in a unified manner and present the method for optimal power assignment of transponder input carriers.

A Genetic Algorithm Approach to the Frequency Assignment Problem on VHF Network of SPIDER System

  • A frequency assignment problem on time division duplex system is considered. Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) has been establishing an infrastructure of tactical communication (SPIDER) system for next generation and it will be a core network structure of system. VHF system is the backbone network of SPIDER, that performs transmission of data such as voice, text and images. So, it is a significant problem finding the frequency assignment with no interference under very restricted resource environment. With a given arbitrary configuration of communications network, we find a feasible solution that guarantees communication without interference between sites and relay stations. We formulate a frequency assignment problem as an Integer Programming model, which has NP-hard complexity. To find the assignment results within a reasonable time, we take a genetic algorithm approach which represents the solution structure with available frequency order, and develop a genetic operation strategies. Computational result shows that the network configuration of SPIDER can be solved efficiently within a very short time.

A Systolic Parallel Simulation System for Dynamic Traffic Assignment : SPSS-DTA

  • This paper presents a first year report of an ongoing multi-year project to develop a systolic parallel simulation system for dynamic traffic assignment. The fundamental approach to the simulation is systolic parallel processing based on autonomous agent modeling. Agents continuously act on their own initiatives and access to database to get the status of the simulation world. Various agents are defined in order to populate the simulation world. In particular existing modls and algorithm were incorporated in designing the behavior of relevant agents such as car-following model headway distribution Frank-Wolf algorithm and so on. Simulation is based on predetermined routes between centroids that are computed off-line by a conventional optimal path-finding algorithm. Iterating the cycles of optimization-then-simulation the proposed system will provide a realistic and valuable traffic assignment. Gangnum-Gu district in Seoul is selected for the target are for the modeling. It is expected that realtime traffic assignment services can be provided on the internet within 3 years.

  • We propose an optimization method to reduce the assembly time of chip mounters. Feeder arrangement and assembly sequence are determined considering the multiple feeder assignment. The problem is divided into two sub-problems: feeder arrangement problem and assembly sequence problem. We present mathematical model for each sub-problem. The clustering algorithm and assignment algorithm are applied to solve the feeder arrangement problem. The assignment algorithm and connection algorithm are applied to solve the assembly sequence problem. Simulation results are then presented to verity the usefulness of the proposed method.

  • 대중교통 통행배정 모형은 대중교통 이용자들의 형태를 예측하고 분석할 수 있는 모형으로 대중교통 관련 정책이나 대안들을 평가하기 위한 기초자료를 도출해 주는 중요한 역할을 담당한다. 기종의 대중교통 통행배정 모형은 대중교통 수단의 특성을 감안한 모형이라기보다는 개별차량의 통행배정 이론을 적용한 것들이 대부분이다. 또한 단일수단(버스나 지하철)을 기준으로 통행배정 모형을 구축하는 경우가 많았다. 그러므로 기존의 방법으로는 변화되는 대중교통체계 내에서 이용자들의 정확한 통행형태를 분석하는 것이 불가능하다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 기존 연구의 한계를 극복하고 보다 현실적인 대중교통 통행배정 모형을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 새로운 배정모형은 단일수단이 아니 복합수단을 기초로 통행자들의 개별적인 통행시간 및 환승에 대한 인식차이를 반영할 수 있는 확률적인 모형이다. 모형 개발을 위한 자료는 이용자들의 실제 통행실태 자료인 서울시 대중교통체계의 교통카드 자료를 활용하였다. 본 연구 모형을 향후 다양한 대중교통 정책 및 노선을 평가하는데 활용될 수 있으며 보다 효율적인 대중교통 활성화 방안을 수립하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

An Empirical Analysis of Sino-Russia Foreign Trade Turnover Time Series: Based on EMD-LSTM Model

  • The time series of foreign trade turnover is complex and variable and contains linear and nonlinear information. This paper proposes preprocessing the dataset by the EMD algorithm and combining the linear prediction advantage of the SARIMA model with the nonlinear prediction advantage of the EMD-LSTM model to construct the SARIMA-EMD-LSTM hybrid model by the weight assignment method. The forecast performance of the single models is compared with that of the hybrid models by using MAPE and RMSE metrics. Furthermore, it is confirmed that the weight assignment approach can benefit from the hybrid models. The results show that the SARIMA model can capture the fluctuation pattern of the time series, but it cannot effectively predict the sudden drop in foreign trade turnover caused by special reasons and has the lowest accuracy in long-term forecasting. The EMD-LSTM model successfully resolves the hysteresis phenomenon and has the highest forecast accuracy of all models, with a MAPE of 7.4304%. Therefore, it can be effectively used to forecast the Sino-Russia foreign trade turnover time series post-epidemic. Hybrid models cannot take advantage of SARIMA linear and LSTM nonlinear forecasting, so weight assignment is not the best method to construct hybrid models.
