A Study on the Bi-Aspect Test for the Two-Sample Problem

  • In this paper we review a bi-aspect nonparametric test for the two-sample problem under the location translation model and propose a new one to accommodate a more broad class of underlying distributions. Then we compare the performance of our proposed test with other existing ones by obtaining empirical powers through a simulation study. Then we discuss some interesting features related to the bi-aspect test with a comment on a possible expansion for the proposed test as concluding remarks.

  • 현재의 멀티데이터베이스 시스템에서 고려해야 할 중요한 문제중의 하나는 의미 이질성(semantic heterogeneity)을 식별하고 해결하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위하여, 다중 측면 의미 모델(Multi-Aspect Semantic Model:MASM)을 제시하고 이에 기반한 의미 통합 방법을 제시한다. MASM은 의미 특징(semantic feature), 스키마 측면(schematic aspect), 명칭(name), 기능적 측면(functional aspect), 문맥(context) 등의 여러 요소들을 고려한 모델이며, 모든 요소 데이터베이스간에 공유되어야 하는 표준화된 지식 없이 객체간의 의미 유사성을 판단한다. 정보 통합에 필요한 모든 지식은 각 요소 데이터베이스에서 다른 요소 데이터베이스에 독립적으로 구축되며, 이를 통하여 융통성과 확장성을 갖는 멀티데이터베이스 시스템을 구축하는 토대를 마련한다.

  • Model verification, validation and accreditation (VV&A) of system simulation are detailedly discussed in this paper. The necessity of VV&A is explained by analyzing the factors on which the model and the reality are discrepant. The W&A technology is expounded in detail not only in the conceptual aspect but also in the methodological aspect. Some principles, difficulties and problems that should be paid attention to are discussed concretely and reasonedly. The paper is expected to be instructional and helpful to the VV&A study.

  • Life cycle costing is one of the most effective cost approaches when we choose a solution from series of alternative so the least long-term cost ownership is achieved. Life cycle costing in railway industry has been focused on the prediction of investment for railway vehicles. But in today, the life cycle cost, LCC, prediction on the aspect of operation and maintenance cost through whole life cycle is highly necessary. In this paper, we present a strategy for the development of life cycle cost estimation software on the aspect of maintenance strategies of railway vehicle. For this purpose, we suggested a structure of LCC software based on the UNIFE LCC model. And we developed a pilot version of software to evaluate the LCC model that we suggested for railway vehicle. We performed LCC analysis on the brake module of metro vehicle in case study and concluded that the software and model developed in this research could enough to support engineers in choosing better cost effective solutions from many alternatives.

The Design of an Extended Complex Event Model based on Event Correlation using Aspect Oriented Programming

  • In recent through development of IOT owing to that mass stream data is being generated in variety of application complex event processing technology is being watched with keen interest as a technology to analyze this kind of real-time continuous data. However, the existing study related with complex event processing only comes to an end at simple event processing based on low-level event or comes to an end at service defect discovery with providing limited operator and so on. Accordingly, there would be limitation to provide useful analysis information. In this paper in consideration of complex event along with aspect-oriented programming an extended complex event model is provided, which is possible to provide more valuable and useful information. Specifically, we extend the model to support hierarchical event structures and let the model recognize point-cuts of aspect-oriented programming as events. We provide the event operators designed to specify the events on instances and handle temporal relations of the instances. It is presented that syntax and semantics of constructs in our event processing language including various and progressive event operators, complex event pattern, etc. In addition, an event context mechanism is proposed to analyze more delicate events. Finally, through application studies application possibility of this study would be shown and merits of this event model would be present through comparison with other event model.

컨테이너터미널의 온실가스 저감방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reduction of Greenhouse Gas in Container Terminal)

  • 항만에서 운용되는 선박, 트럭, 기차, 하역장비들이 배출하는 온실가스는 현장 근로자들뿐만 아니라 인근 지역민들의 건강 및 생활환경을 악화시키고 있다. 세계 주요항만 대기오염 문제 해결을 위해 다양한 노력을 하고 있다. 본 연구는 항만 중 온실가스 배출량 비중이 가장 높은 컨테이너터미널을 대상으로 온실가스 저감방안에 대한 연구를 하였다. 연구를 위해 먼저 저감대안들을 추출하였고 이에 대한 중요 우선순위를 결정하는 계층적 의사결정 모델 제시와 실증분석을 실시하였다. 컨테이너터미널 온실가스 저감대안을 선정 하는데 있어 5가지 요소 기준을 적용하였고, 실무자와 전문가의 의견을 수렴하여 대안들을 추출하였다. 또한 선정된 온실가스 저감방안에 대한 평가영역과 요소들을 평가하는데 있어 언어척도의 애매모호하고 불확실한 상황을 고려하여 퍼지모형과 계층적분석방법(Analytic Hierarchy Process)을 결합한 Fuzzy-AHP을 적용하였다. 연구결과 컨테이너터미널 온실가스 저감방안의 측정영역에 대한 중요도 평가는 장비영역이 가장 높았고, 다음으로 운영영역과 에너지영역 순으로 나타났다. 온실가스 저감대안들의 전체 우선순위를 보면 전기T/C 도입이 우선순위가 가장 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 다음으로 Y/T하이브리드 개조, AMP도입, MLS 도입 순으로 나타났다.

CFD 모형을 이용한 도시 도로 협곡에서의 흐름 체계 분류 (Classification of Flow Regimes in Urban Street Canyons Using a CFD Model)

  • Using a three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model with the $k-{\varepsilon}$ turbulence closure scheme based on the renormalization group theory, flow regimes in urban street canyons are classified according to the building and street aspect ratios. The transition between skimming flow (SF) and wake interference flow (WIF) is determined with the size of double-eddy circulation generated behind the upwind building. The transition between WIF and isolated roughness flow (IRF) is determined with the flow reattachment distance from the upwind building. The critical aspect ratios at which the flow transition occurs are found and compared with those in previous studies. The results show that the flow-regime classification method used in this study is quite reasonable and that the values of the critical aspect ratios are generally consistent with those in fluid experiments or large-eddy simulation. The regression equation describing a relation between the building and street aspect ratios at the flow-regime transition is presented.

불연속 복합체의 재료역학적 접근을 통한 응력해석 (Stress Analysis of a Discontinuous Composite Using Mechanics of Materials Approach)

  • In discontinuous composite mechanics, shear lag theory is one of the most popular model because of its simplicity and accuracy. However, it does not provide sufficiently accurate strengthening predictions in elastic regime then the fiber aspect ratio is small. This is due to its neglect of stress transfer across the fiber ends and the stress concentrations that exist in the matrix regions near the fiber ends. To overcome this shortcoming, a more simplified shear lag model introducing the stress concentration factor which is a function of several variables, such as the modulus ratio, the fiber volume fraction, the fiber aspect ratio, is proposed. It is found that the modulus ratio($E_f$/$E_m$) is the essential variable among them. Thus, the stress concentration factor is expressed as a function of modulus ratio in the derivation. It is found that the proposed model gives a good agreement with finite element results and has the capability to correctly predict the values of interfacial shear stresses and local stress variations in the small fiber aspect ratio regime.

공동주택 지속가능성 평가항목 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Extraction of Assessment Items of the Sustainability in the Multifamily Housing)

  • The environmental problems aren't only restricted in single area or country, but also related in all around the world. Various approaches have been tried to protect and utilize properly the environment. Especially, building area has been attempted to provide the model which could explain the degree of environmental influence and technology development criteria to lessen the environmental impact in building life cycle. The environmental impact in the building life cycle can be overally explained with sustainability. Sustainability can be utilized to establish the target level of building to environmental influence. This paper aimed at extracting items to evaluate the building sustainability, divided into social, economic and environmental aspects. First, 93-items is extracted from 3 areas through existing literature review. Second, the 93-items would be controlled and reviewed into 21 items, which are five social aspect items, two economic aspect items and twelve environmental items, because 93 items can not properly be applied and evaluated. And, it provided the model to combine the extracted items of each area. In social aspect, the outdoor noise is more affect than any other items. In environmental aspect, the item of surface-to-volume is more affect than any other items.

CNN 보조 손실을 이용한 차원 기반 감성 분석 (Target-Aspect-Sentiment Joint Detection with CNN Auxiliary Loss for Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis)

  • 텍스트를 바탕으로 한 차원 기반 감성 분석(Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis)은 다양한 산업에서 유용성을 주목을 받고 있다. 기존의 차원 기반 감성 분석에서는 타깃(Target) 혹은 차원(Aspect)만을 고려하여 감성을 분석하는 연구가 대다수였다. 그러나 동일한 타깃 혹은 차원이더라도 감성이 나뉘는 경우, 또는 타깃이 없지만 감성은 존재하는 경우 분석 결과가 정확하지 않다는 한계가 존재한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 방법으로 차원과 타깃을 모두 고려한 감성 분석(Target-Aspect-Sentiment Detection, 이하 TASD) 모델이 제안되었다. 그럼에도 불구하고, TASD 기존 모델의 경우 구(Phrase) 간의 관계인 지역적인 문맥을 잘 포착하지 못하고 초기 학습 속도가 느리다는 문제가 있었다. 본 연구는 TASD 분야 내 기존 모델의 한계를 보완하여 분석 성능을 높이고자 하였다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 기존 모델에 합성곱(Convolution Neural Network) 계층을 더하여 차원-감성 분류 시 보조 손실(Auxiliary loss)을 추가로 사용하였다. 즉, 학습 시에는 합성곱 계층을 통해 지역적인 문맥을 좀 더 잘 포착하도록 하였으며, 학습 후에는 기존 방식대로 차원-감성 분석을 하도록 모델을 설계하였다. 본 모델의 성능을 평가하기 위해 공개 데이터 집합인 SemEval-2015, SemEval-2016을 사용하였으며, 기존 모델 대비 F1 점수가 최대 55% 증가했다. 특히 기존 모델보다 배치(Batch), 에폭(Epoch)이 적을 때 효과적으로 학습한다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 제시된 모델로 더욱 더 세밀한 차원 기반 감성 분석이 가능하다는 점에서, 기업에서 상품 개발 및 마케팅 전략 수립 등에 다양하게 활용할 수 있으며 소비자의 효율적인 구매 의사결정을 도와줄 수 있을 것으로 보인다.
