A Case Study of Art Marketing in Fashion Brand

  • Purpose - This study examines the effects of art marketing management of the marketing mix in fashion, focusing on the cases of the leading global fashion brands in art marketing management. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - This study was implemented using the content analysis method. Criteria, including product differentiation, promotion strategies, store strategies, and social contributions, were based on previous research, brand promotional references, and critical reviews in newspapers or professional magazines for various cases of art marketing management by fashion brands. Results - To achieve product differentiation, art marketing management has borrowed images from artworks, and employed parodies and collaboration with artists; this has facilitated the pleasure derived from utilizing the artistic value of products. Promotion strategies were integrated with art performances, advertisements, and runway shows. Store strategies developed emotional feelings and a longing for brands among consumers. Reputational marketing of the social contributions made by corporations elevated the corporate brand image perceived by consumers. Conclusions - This study's findings revealed that consumers can derive emotional satisfaction through art marketing that seeks to profit effectively by stimulating consumers' emotions. From an economic perspective, a convergence of art and marketing plays an important role in profit-making and satisfying consumers' emotions.

Current Literature Analysis of Arts and Cultural Management

  • Purpose: Arts and cultural management are a field with unique meaning and significance. This study is uniquely based on the focus of arts and cultural management on social and cultural sustainability sets it apart from other related study fields. Through delving into arts and cultural management, one can quickly gain skills vis-à-vis creativity and innovation in traditional and emerging media platforms. Research design, data and methodology: The current researcher relied on the descriptive research design, arriving at and evaluating the findings. The descriptive research design was the most ideal because of the need to evaluate the various literature sources systematically and later describe them without undue influence. Results: This research's core finding of art and cultural management in the current literature may be split up four findings, such as (1) Art and Cultural Management is Fast Embracing Digital Innovations and Related Elements, (2) Data and Analytics in Art and Cultural Management, (3) Interdisciplinary Nature of Arts and Cultural Management Elements, and (4) Arts and Cultural Management Face Numerous Challenges that Define it and its Future. Conclusions: All in all, based on the literature findings, the present research concludes that It is incumbent upon the various stakeholders, such as the government, to prioritize the arts and cultural management field through adequate budgeting and allocation of money.

  • 최근 국내 문화예술기관에서 아카이브를 활용한 전시와 프로그램 기획이 많아지면서 아트아카이브라는 용어가 폭넓게 사용되고 있다. 트아카이브는 학문 연구의 기초 자원, 예술 문화의 정체성 확립과 같은 역할을 위해 그 필요성이 제기되었지만, 현재는 더 나아가 직접적인 활용 및 서비스의 대상으로 주목 받고 있다. 이에 기록학계에서도 아트아카이브의 가치와 정책, 관리방안 등에 대한 연구가 진행되었다. 그러나 아트아카이브를 다루는 기관에서 실제 적용 가능한 관리방법론에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 특히, 아트아카이브의 효율적인 활용을 위해서는 분류와 정리 그리고 기술 영역의 체계적인 관리가 선행되어야한다. 하지만 아트아카이브는 수집 유형, 관리 기관과 소장 자원의 특성 등에 따라 각각 다른 관리 방법이 존재한다. 그렇기 때문에 일관된 분류·기술 방법론을 적용하기 어렵다. 이에 본 연구에서는 서울시립 미술아카이브의 실제 사례를 기반으로 아트아카이브의 범주와 유형을 살펴보고, 분류체계의 구축과 기술 규칙을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the concept of the Business Art and the validity of the Business Art making process model, as well as to confirm the creative value of art in the business environment. The research data were collected using in-depth interviews and the collected data were analyzed by applying the grounded theory. As a result of the study, various experts in the fields of business and arts evaluated the concept of the Business Art and contents of the Business Art process model as generally valid, considering that they were actually applicable in light of their own experiences. This study establishes a new theory by verifying the transferability of academic research on the new concept of the Business Art, and presents a new viewpoint different from the existing one in the relationship between business and art. Also, the implication of this study lies in that it provided the basis for establishing the method and system that apply the concept of the Business Art and its process to business in the future.

A Study on the Art Management and Cultural Activities in China from the K-Wave Case

  • The purpose of this paper is to study the relationship between Art management and Cultural activities in China from the K-wave case. Research design, data, and methodology: This study used the method of the cases study survey, with the K-wave case in as the survey objects, 3 valid survey sample case were collected in this paper. Results: The two dimensions of art management and cultural activities differently influences from the K-wave, and the influence of availability on customer satisfaction is not significant. Conclusion: The results of this study will provide useful reference for the Art management and Cultural activities in China from the K-wave case. And improve the development of art management and cultural activities in China by improving the K-wave of service quality. Art management can shape urban commercial space in a beneficial way, create a good consumption atmosphere, and enhance the attractiveness and competitiveness of the city. The introduction of art elements into urban commercial space can create a strong cultural atmosphere, so that the city presents a smart look. Art management has a positive impact on K-Wave production and operation activities, which can promote the shaping of art commercial space, the promotion of urban cultural atmosphere.

미술 아카이브 전문인력 활성화 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Ways to Revitalize Art Archive Professionals)

  • 본 연구는 미술 아카이브의 체계적인 관리와 활용에 필요한 전문인력 구축에 관한 실무자 및 연구자 인식과 의견을 기반으로 전문인력 활성화 방안을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 미술 아카이브 및 정책 관련 실무자와 기록관리 연구자를 중심으로 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였고 질적연구방법론 중 하나인 근거이론방법론을 활용하여 분석을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 57개 개념과 27개 하위범주, 13개 상위범주가 도출되었다. 이를 통해 현장에서 지속적으로 제기되고 있는 미술 아카이브 전문인력에 대한 문제점을 종합적으로 검토할 수 있었으며 영역별 전문가들의 의견을 분석하여 실효성 있는 전문인력활성화 방안을 모색할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 미술 아카이브 전제조건인 전문인력의 중요성을 사회 전반에 확산시키고 미술관 내 미술 전문 아키비스트가 전문인력으로서 자리매김할 수 있는 계기를 마련하는 기초 연구로서 유의미한 시사점을 제공할 것이다.

NFT ART의 특성이 지각된 가치에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Investigating the Influence of NFT ART Characteristics on Consumer Perceived Value: Insights from Purchasing Experience)

  • Purpose: Non-Fungible Token (NFT) ART, based on NFT technology, represents a novel form of art that has recently garnered significant attention in the art market. NFT technology enables the assertion of ownership over digital data, introducing the concept of ownership into the digital realm. As digital data gains ownership, NFT ART is anticipated to be positively viewed as an investment and expected to become more active due to the characteristics of this new technology. Therefore, this study aims to verify the influence of NFT ART characteristics on perceived value. This study contributes to extracting the distinctive characteristics of NFT ART compared to other forms of art and to understanding the perceived value of NFT ART among consumers with purchasing experience. Methods: This study applied structural equation modeling to explore the relationships among the variables using SPSS 26.0 and R program version 4.2.3. A total of 320 questionnaires were retrieved, all of which were adopted as valid analytical samples without missing values. Results: The findings indicate that the decentralization, transparency, and scarcity of NFT ART positively influence the perceived usefulness and enjoyment among consumers, while security does not have a significant impact. This suggests that higher levels of decentralization, transparency, and scarcity in NFT ART enhance perceived usefulness and enjoyment for consumers, significantly influencing the perceived value. Furthermore, it was confirmed that these characteristics are considered important values and perceptions from the consumer's perspective. Conclusion: The research presents positive factors for the activating of purchases among consumers considering buying NFT ART. It emphasizes the necessity of benefits for all participants to activate the art market. Additionally, the perceived value provides crucial insights for inducing active purchasing behavior in the NFT ART market and serves as a foundational study for further research.

  • 클라우드 환경은 빅데이터의 이슈와 데이터 분석을 가능하게 하는 기술로서, 이를 위한 자원 관리 기법이 필요하다. 현재까지의 자원관리 기법은 한정된 계산 방법을 이용하여 자원의 편중의 문제점이 있으며, 이를 해결하기 위해서 자원관리는 자원이력 정보를 활용한 학습기반의 스케줄링이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 ART(Adaptive Resonance Theory)기반의 적응형 자원관리 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 클라우드환경에서 모니터링 및 자원이력을 이용하여 작업의 적합한 할당이 가능하다. 제안하는 방법은 무감독 학습방법을 사용하며, 적응형 자원 관리를 통하여 서비스의 안정성과 데이터 처리성능을 향상시키는 것을 목적으로 한다. 제안하는 방법은 체계적인 자원관리가 가능하고 가용자원을 효율적으로 활용하여 요구 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다는 장점이 있다.

The Significance of Oriental Art Therapy in Business Workers

  • Purpose - Several previous studies have been completed on oriental art therapy's impact on problem-solving and innovation in business workers. However, there is a definite research gap in how it reduces stress within the impacts oriental art therapy on business workers. Therefore, this research will be significant in finding out what oriental art therapy has reduced work-related stress and increased satisfaction among business workers. Research design, data, and methodology - For this research, the dependent variable was the significance of oriental art therapy, and the dependent variable was reducing work-related stress and increasing the satisfaction of business workers. The study's hypothesis was oriental art therapy reduces work-related stress and increases the satisfaction of business workers. A quantitative quasi-experimental pilot design was the most appropriate for this study. Result - This research figured out that the art therapy affect significantly reducing work-related stress among business workers, removing the level of anxiety, improving employee's feeling, and so leading to improvement in communication and collaboration each other in the organization. Conclusion - The results of the investigation imply that oriental art therapy can significantly improve the workers' satisfaction in a business. The research shows how successfully some of the interventions introduced in the medical supply company fully transformed the workers' lives.

New Museum for New Forms of Art - Focused on "Museum without Walls", and the relationship between art and architecture -

  • To design and construct a museum of art involves the interest of artists, architects, curatorship, management, and local government. More than this direct relationship, museum obliges the public a mission of delivering genuine public experience through art and architecture. However, most of Modern and contemporary architecture has not delivered genuine public experience of integrated art and architecture. Conceptual message of art and perceptual architectural exhibition space has not been integrated easily. Picture frame canvas initiated this schism and institutionalized museum management hampered the creativity of artists. This schism was overcome through artists' questioning of museum culture and creative works that embrace work and its environment. In contemporary culture, installation art and media art necessitates a new museum format which needs not only exhibition, but laboratory and interface space with viewers. This paper will regroup the existing museum according to its use and strategy, and reinterpret progressive museums that fosters young artists, and more than this, will introduce successfully established museums for new forms of art, which are equipped with versatile exhibition spaces, innovative interface between works and viewers, and own laboratory that can produce works of art. These examples will envision a creative method of art and architecture production that can achieve genuine public experience.
