The NDT(nondestructive test) using pulse echo method with piezoelectric transducers and the system for NDT including image processing were studoed. The system consisted of pulse generator and receiver, two step motors for X-Y scanner, PC-Scope for data aquisition and PC-Lab for trigger and motor driving. We tested and estimated at one point under the following conditions : 1) just water, 2) Aluminum without any crack and 3) Aluminum with hole. The estimated NDT result of whole area (point : $35{\times}20$) is compared with real samples.

For many years art libraries have been concerned about the problem resulting from the addition of exhibition catalogs to general art collection. Those who work or research in the art field agree that exhibition catalogs are great value, and in many cases, the essays and documentary material contained in these catalogs may be the only source of information on particular artists. This paper contains two purposes. One is to settle the exhibition catalog as a specific form of publication in the library. In theoretical aspect, this material is handled in definition, form, historical development and the position and specification. Another is to manage exhibition catalog in the library. In practical aspect, this material is handled in aquisition, classification, cataloging and use.

전문가 검색 엔진은 전문가 시스템과 같은 목적에서 특정 전문 분야에 대한 특수한 정보를 수집 검색하기 위한 검색 엔진을 지칭한다. 특정 전문 분야를 위한 검색 엔진은 제작하기 위해서는 해당 분야만으로 구성된 웹 문서가 필요하다. 본 논문에서 제안한 전문가 검색 엔진은, 특정 분양의 웹 문서만 수집하기 위해서 개념 지식을 사용하여 웹 문서의 특정 분야 귀속 여부를 판단하였다. 개념 지식을 사용하여 웹 문서의 특정 분야 귀속 여부를 판단하기 위해서는, 개념 지식이 특정 분양에 대해 충분히 수집이 되어야 하며, 다른 분야와 충돌하지 않아야 한다. 이러한 개념 지식을 구축하는 것은 사람의 손으로 하는 것은 매우 어려운 일이므로, 본 논문에서는 학습을 토하여 개념 지식을 확장하고, 이를 전문가가 개입하여 학습 과정을 확인하였다. 본 논문은 개념 지식의 학습과 효용성에 대한 실험 및 결과에 대한 논문이다.

This paper presents an ECG (electrocardiogram) telemetry system, in which patients can be monitored in nearly any environment by mobile communication. The ECG is transmitted to a monitor center via a built-in CDMA modem and forwarded to a cardiologist for diagnosis. Also this paper designed and implemented the receiving server which receives the ECG from the ECG aquisition module of patients by Internet. The server puts the ECG into a database. This telemetry system significantly increases the patient's safety and comfort.

This study describes an implementation of object tracking algorithm on FPGA. The global system detect the zone there is more motion in, attending to the generated optical flow, and centers its attention to it to improve the details In this case, To obtain image in Camera, Image aquisition board make use of SAA7113 Video Input processor and algorithm is applied to motion estimation and difference picture. Also, This work can be applied kalman filter to reliability of tracking.

본(本) 논문(論文)은 산업기술정보원(産業技術情報院)에서 자체 개발(開發)한 도서관리(圖書管理) 시스템인 KINITI-LIS의 구성(構成) 및 파일 구조(構造)에 관하여 기술하였다. 본(本) 시스템은 수서(收書), 목록(目錄), 검색(檢索), 대출(貸出), 연속간행물관리(連續刊行物管理) 등 5개 서브시스템으로 구성(構成)되었으며, 대부분의 파일들은 VSAM을 기본으로 구축(構築)하였다.

Selection of appropriate knowledge acquisition and representation techniques is regarded as a major task in the development of expert systems. This depends on the characteristics of problem domains. Expert system builders have often adopted a technique without a formal analysis of application domains. The purpose of this paper is to provide the best knowledge aquisition and representation technique for use in human resource management problem domains. In an attempt to meet this purpose, the conceptual contingency model that suggests the best technique according to managerial decision categories is used as a guidance. In order to determine the priority of managerial decision categories, the Analytic Hierarchy Process and an extended method are proposed.

The effect of ISO 9000 jcertification for quality management is investigated. 213 domestic manufacturing companies which had been certified more than one and half year ago were selected to send the questionnaires for a field survey. Among them 89 were returned. Crosby's Quality Management Maturity Grid' is utilized for analyzing the effect of ISO 9000 certification aquistion. Comparisons for the QM maturity level are made between before- and after-aquisition. It is shown that, on the average, the QM maturity level had been increased from awakening (stage 2) to the mid point of enlightenment(stage 3) and wisdom(stage 4).

A flow control system was designed and fabricated to control the flow rate of liquid through the pipe. This control system was composed of hardwares and software, hardwares as controller, gate valve, orifice meter and data aquisition board and software as National instruments Labview program. Control of flow rate was executed by adjusting the pneumatic valve located at the center of pipe line based on the control signal generated by LabView PID control algorithm, which converts analog signal measured by pressure difference of orifice to digital signal to adjust pneumatic valve. For the controller setup Ziegler-Nichols tuning technique was applied and control performances were investigated for not only the disturbance but also the set point changes. Developed system showed good control performances in flow control enough to use as teaching tool of feedback control theory and practice in university, and also as industrial application.

This paper examined dynamic characteristics of high speed trains using a time varying frequency transform. Fourier transform based methods are frequently used for the calculation of the dynamic characteristics of trains in the frequency domain, but they cannot represent the time-varying characteristics. Therefore it is necessary to examine their characteristics using a time-varying frequency transform. For the examination, the non-stationary vibration of wheelset, bogie, and carbody are measured using accelerometers and stored in a data aquisition system. They are processed with localization of the data by modulating with a window function, and Fourier transform is taken to each localized data, called the short-time Fourier transform. From the processed results, time varying auto-spectral density, cross-spectral density, frequency response, and coherence functions have been calculated. From the analysis, it is confirmed that the time varying frequency transform is a useful method for analyzing the dynamic characteristics of high speed trains.
