  • Because of the advancements of these modern tecniques and new materials being developed expressionally diverse methods of utilizing metal and glass are being discovered. modern architects in order to add an open-hearted and homogeneous concept into their endeavors to create a transparent space are inclining to the many expressive characteristics which glass and metal provide. Furthermore the products of these endeavors are bringing forth various key elements in respect to useage for today's interior spaces, Due to differing methods of setting up the interior sphere is fastly becoming more generous than viewpoints of the past. Through the use of organization moreover from the former geometric school of thought curvilinear and active organization/ expressive inclinations are becoming diversified. Thus in accordance with the diversifying methods of fixing glass for a sleek and reflective exterior and due to the influence of durability to these fixtures precision not just decoration is gradually becoming more in demand/ Hereupon this study enlightens from the standpoint of planninf for interior spaces through the utilization of glass and metal upon the key factors of expressive attributes and the possibilities which thusly arise. The purpose of this study is to apply these theories to an actual case model study and verify their validity.

Joint User Association and Resource Allocation of Device-to-Device Communication in Small Cell Networks

  • With the recent popularity of smart terminals, the demand for high-data-rate transmission is growing rapidly, which brings a new challenge for the traditional cellular networks. Both device-to-device (D2D) communication and small cells are effective to improve the transmission efficiency of local communication. In this paper, we apply D2D communication into a small cell network system (SNets) and study about the optimization problem of resource allocation for D2D communication. The optimization problem includes system scheduling and resource allocation, which is exponentially complex and the optimal solution is infeasible to achieve. Therefore, in this paper, the optimization problem is decomposed into several smaller problems and a hierarchical scheme is proposed to obtain the solution. The proposed hierarchical scheme consists of three steps: D2D communication groups formation, the estimation of sub-channels needed by each D2D communication group and specific resource allocation. From numerical simulation results, we find that the proposed resource allocation scheme is effective in improving the spectral efficiency and reducing the outage probability of D2D communication.

모바일 기반 스마트 조선소 생산 공정관리 지원 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Production Process Management Support System for Smart Shipyard Based on Mobile)

  • The shipbuilding industry is facing the various problems of less demand and oversupply owing to the global economic crisis and the increase in shipbuilding countries. Shipyards of the industry are making effort to strengthen their ability to handle the crisis via a smartwork technology for flexible working environment. In this study, we developed a smartwork system that manages the information in shipbuilding process with mobile devices such as smart phones and tablet PCs. To successfully apply the developed smartwork system to shipyards, we analyzed several best practices and management tasks of the shipbuilding processes. The developed system was designed by CBD approach that is a branch of service-oriented software engineering for reusability and flexibility on the system. As it is designed considering the flexible working environment, it supports to increase their productivity by reducing the time required to carry out tasks and by increasing the mobility required to manage work performance in field of shipyards.

  • 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서, 클라우드 서비스 사용자는 클라우드 자원 제공자로부터 가상화된 컴퓨팅 자원을 사용할 시간만큼 구매하여 할당받는다. 일반적으로 아마존, 고그리드 및 마이크로소프트와 같은 대형 클라우드 자원 제공자들은 자원 과금 정책을 온디맨드와 예약형 기반 가상 자원의 두 가지로 구분하여 제공한다. 예약형 기반 가상 자원은 상대적으로 장기간 할당을 가지므로 단위 시간당 자원 사용 비용이 온디맨드 가상 자원과 비교하여 더 저렴하다. 이러한 과금 정책 특성을 기반으로 클라우드 서비스 사용자의 서비스 요구 사항을 고려하여 적절한 자원 할당을 수행함으로써 클라우드 서비스 제공자는 자원 할당 비용을 효과적으로 절감할 수 있다. 이를 위해서, 기존의 가상 자원 할당 기법들은 서비스 사용자의 요구사항 특성을 미리 예측하여 최적의 자원을 할당하는 방법들을 제안하였다. 그러나 실세계에서는 다양한 클라우드 서비스 사용자가 존재하고 서비스 요구사항이 동적으로 변하기 때문에 정확한 예측을 하기 어려우며, 최적화된 할당을 위한 연산 시간이 추가 오버헤드가 되어 자원 관리 성능을 떨어뜨릴 수 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 적응적 자원 할당 기법을 제안하여 요구사항 예측 및 최적화 기법을 수행하지 않으면서도 서비스 요구사항에 효과적으로 대응하여 자원을 제공할 수 있도록 한다. 실험 결과를 통해 제안된 기법이 자원 사용 비용을 크게 절감하면서도 클라우드 서비스 사용자의 QoS를 만족함을 보인다.

  • Open Housing System ideas were developed in Korea in the 1980s to satisfy the demand for variety indwelling spaces. This domestic attempt to apply open building principles was highly restricted and was applied only in support of middle-large size apartments rather than small size apartments. One of the problems was the conventional design of building structures. It was difficult to effectively satisfy the various lifestyles and transformation of dwellings because existing apartments were designed using a concrete wall structure approach, in which room sizes and arrangements were fixed by the placement of structural concrete walls. This was the result not only of structural analysis (other structural designs were possible) but also the result of the idea that the standard plan was suitable for a stable society and was easier to implement, and that change in social standards and technical upgrading was not going to happen. This study presents an apartment concept in which open building design methods were applied to satisfy the problem of various lifestyles and household sizes and preferences for small apartments. This concept also helps to create a more effective and long lasting building which decreases construction waste, saves resources and protects the environment by enabling the building to accommodate combining, increasing / decreasing, changing location or changing usage of rooms.

  • The finance-investment industry is currently focusing on research related to artificial intelligence and big data, moving beyond conventional theories of financial engineering. However, the case of equity optimization portfolio by using an artificial intelligence, big data, and its performance is rarely realized in practice. Thus, the purpose of this study is to propose process improvements in equity selection, information analysis, and portfolio composition, and lastly an improvement in portfolio returns, with the case of an equity optimization model based on quantitative research by an artificial intelligence. This paper is an empirical study of the portfolio based on an artificial intelligence technology of "D" asset management, which is the largest domestic active-quant-fiduciary management in accordance with the purpose of this paper. This study will apply artificial intelligence to finance, analyzing financial and demand-supply information and automating factor-selection and weight of equity through machine learning based on the artificial neural network. Also, the learning the process for the composition of portfolio optimization and its performance by applying genetic algorithms to models will be documented. This study posits a model that the asset management industry can achieve, with continuous and stable excess performance, low costs and high efficiency in the process of investment.

  • The imbalance of energy demand and supply caused by rapid industrialization around the world and the associated environmental issues require and alternative energy source with possible renewable fuels. Political instability and depletion of cruel oils are other factors that cause fluctuation of oil price. Securing a new alternative energy source for the next century became an urgent issue that our nation is confronting with. As a matter of fact, the fuel cell technology can be widely used as next generation energy regardless of regions and climate. Specially, the ability of expansion and quick installation enable one to apply it for distributed power, where the technology is already gaining remarkable attentions for the application. Particularly, leading industrialized nations are focusing on the PEM fuel dell with anticipation that this technology will find their place of applications in the vehicles and homes. In this study, demonstrate the multi physics modeling of a proton exchange membrane(PEM) fuel cell with interdigitated flow field design. The model uses current balances, mass balance(Maxwell-Stefan diffusion for reactant, water and nitrogen gas) and momentum balance(gas flow) to simulate the PEM fuel cell behavior.

  • 본 연구는 부산 해안지역에서 친수공간벨트를 계획하기 위해 친수공간벨트 및 이에 관련된 친수공간클러스터의 개념을 제시하고 개별 친수공간들을 워터프런트 그린웨이를 통해 체계적으로 연결시켜 친수공간벨트를 계획하는 방안을 제시하며 부산 해운대구 해안지역을 대상으로 구체적인 적용사례를 제시한다.

  • 인공지능, 빅데이터, 사물인터넷 등 기술간 융합과 고도화가 지역주력산업에도 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. 모든 기술분야가 기술간-산업간 연결이 되어 융합된 기술로 활용되고 있다. 최근 기술동향을 파악하기 위해 특허정보를 이용한 키워드검색을 통해 기술동향 조사 및 분석으로 쉽게 파악이 가능하게 되었다. 본 연구는 방사선 기술발전에서 4차 산업혁명시대 융합기술을 적용한 특허동향을 파악하고 방사선 관련 산업기술경쟁력 강화 및 활용방안을 위한 특허동향 및 분석을 제시하여 수요기술 발굴과 미래 유망기술 예측에 활용하고자 한다.

Development of an uncertainty quantification approach with reduced computational cost for seismic fragility assessment of cable-stayed bridges

  • Uncertainty quantification is the most important challenge in seismic fragility assessment of structures. The precision increment of the quantification method leads to reliable results but at the same time increases the computational costs and the latter will be so undesirable in cases such as reliability-based design optimization which includes numerous probabilistic seismic analyses. Accordingly, the authors' effort has been put on the development and validation of an approach that has reduced computational cost in seismic fragility assessment. In this regard, it is necessary to apply the appropriate methods for consideration of two categories of uncertainties consisting of uncertainties related to the ground motions and structural characteristics, separately. Also, cable-stayed bridges have been specifically selected because as a result of their complexity and the according time-consuming seismic analyses, reducing the computations corresponding to their fragility analyses is worthy of studying. To achieve this, the fragility assessment of three case studies is performed based on existing and proposed approaches, and a comparative study on the efficiency in the estimation of seismic responses. For this purpose, statistical validation is conducted on the seismic demand and fragility resulting from the mentioned approaches, and through a comprehensive interpretation, sufficient arguments for the acceptable errors of the proposed approach are presented. Finally, this study concludes that the combination of the Capacity Spectrum Method (CSM) and Uniform Design Sampling (UDS) in advanced proposed forms can provide adequate accuracy in seismic fragility estimation at a significantly reduced computational cost.
