As the information technology advances and the number of internet users increase, the electronic commerce has been discussed actively in the academic and industrial circles. Though the reference model is important as a guide to the study on electronic commerce at this time, current studies on the reference model are inclined to emphasize on the specified area, not on overall area. In this respect, this paper aims to provide the synthetic reference model - named the ECGR model(Electronic Commerce Generic Reference model) - and its application plans. First, for these purposes, several frameworks and reference models of electronic commerce are compared and analyzed from the various viewpoints. Second, several factors for the development of the reference model are proposed. Finally, the ECGR model is developed and its application plans are suggested. The ECGR model provides a conceptual and analytical apparatus to interpret the profound understanding of electronic commerce and presents the fundamental framework related to the electronic commerce projects. According to the expansion of electronic commerce and the development of related information technology, the ECGR model must be modified.
As the era of ubiquitous has come, it is able to have more convenient and efficient operation system since many efforts have devoted to developing an appropriate operation system in the ubiquitous environment and applying RFID/USN technology to various parts in the industry. Also, the port logistics area has considered RFID/USN to develop more efficient port logistics environment and improve their efficiency. Therefore, this study investigates current trends of RFID technology and application cases in the port logistics area since RFID stands in the important position of changes of maritime port environment. This study tries to find possible areas for applying RFID technology and analyze expected effects when RFID is adopted those areas. Lastly, the priority level among the possible RFID application fields in the container terminal has been evaluated by experts' survey.

Because the meteorological observation towers are scattered over large area, the collected meteorological data are very sparse. Therefore, the need for data collection on the limited urban areas like a specific building or subway area brings about vest cost which is required to install the corresponding sensors on the areas. Recently, to overcome this problem, the sensor network technique comes to the fore. This paper studies an application to service the meteorological map using mobile phone sensors.

In this study, the characteristics and error ranges of the mechanical bonding strength were analyzed according to before and after thermal shock test for various chips of automotive application component using Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu solder. In the after thermal shock test, the mechanical bonding strengths tend to decrease, meanwhile decreasing rates of mechanical strengths were less then 12% at specimen's bonding area below 3.5$mm^2$, and were from 17 to 21% at specimen's bonding area above 12 $mm^2$. On the other hand, Specimen's mean deviation rates were about 5% at specimen's bonding area more than 12 $mm^2$. Inversely, at specimen's bonding area is less then 3.5 $mm^2$, mean deviation rates were increased to about 8%. It means that the smaller device size is, the larger mean deviation rate. In addition, error ranges and deviation rates of the mechanical bonding strengths may differ slightly depending on their bonding area. Furthermore, process conditions as well as method of mechanical reliability evaluation should be established to reduce the error ranges of bonding strength.
The exchange of information with legacy systems is a main issue in the era of SMARTGRID. Because WAMAC(Wide Area Monitoring and Control) system has monitoring function, as well as control function, it is very necessary for WAMAC to exchange data and information with SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) / EMS(Energy Management System). IEC 61970 CIM(Common Information Model) is an abstract model that represents all the major objects in an electric utility enterprise typically involved in utility operations. In this paper, a proposal that adopting CIM to WAMAC model be submitted so that the integration of various legacy system and application for itself be able to be flexible.
Increasement of power demand rapid industrial growth has led the expansion of power system, and it caused construction of large power transmission line(like 765kV T/L) and substation. If there are T/L faults (route contingency etc), it lead to the large scale black out in SEOUL AREA (the center of load). To minimize damage which caused by the large scale black out, KEPCO selects the method of load shadding. In this work, instead of general method of load shadding, We study the application of UVLS model to decrease the load shadding in SEOUL AREA. The study result of using the UVLS model showed that the amont of load shadding can be decreased about 400 MW compare to the existing load shadding system.

Virtual Acoustic Field Simulation System (VFASS) has been developed through soundscape technique research for making comfortable acoustic environment in urban public places. This system could suggest Introducing sounds which are suitable for certain area, Also this system gives certain area vitalities and amenity through with the correspondence to time, temperature, humidity, wind velocity and sunshine of the area. In this paper, Application possibility of VFASS is examined how can be adapted to D University square as a case study.

On the limited urban area, precise measurement of meteorological data is not easy for the cost problem. The facilities collecting the data require high installment costs. The mobile sources can be a solution in city region. For example, a public bus on which some meteorological sensors are installed can act as moving information gathering station. The information is gathered on a server and aggregated to generate useful information for smart phone application. To implement the services, several obstacles are exists. This paper studies on a design of this mobile meteorological information service system for urban area.
Because robot hardware architecture generally is consisted of a few sensors and motors connected to the central processing unit, this type of structure is led to time consuming and unreliable system. For analysis, one of the fundamental difficulties in real-time system is how to be bounded the time behavior of the system. When a distributed control network controls the robot, with a central computing hub that sets the goals for the robot, processes the sensor information and provides coordination targets for the joints. If the distributed system supposed to be connected to a control network, the joints have their own control processors that act in groups to maintain global stability, while also operating individually to provide local motor control. We try to analyze the architecture of network-based humanoid robot's leg part and deal with its application using the CAN(Controller Area Network) protocol.
This paper presents an approach for detecting and measuring human skin pigmentation. In the proposed scheme, we extract a skin area by a Gaussian skin color model that is estimated from the statistical analysis of training images and remove tiny noises through the morphology processing. A skin area is decomposed into two components of hemoglobin and melanin by an independent component analysis (ICA) algorithm. Then, we calculate the intensities of hemoglobin and melanin by using the location histogram and determine the existence of skin pigmentation according to the global and local distribution of two intensities. Furthermore, we measure the area and density of the detected skin pigmentation. Experimental results verified that our scheme can both detect the skin pigmentation and measure the quantity of that and also our scheme takes less time because of the location histogram.
