  • This paper compares and analyzes the capabilities and application characteristic between the shipborne AIS and ARPA Radar. AIS base station and VTS Radar, give a brief introduction of the AIS base station network's building and application in China, and give a discussion on the information fusion and technology integrated of ATS and ARPA Radar, AIS base station network and VTS Radar.

미계측 유역의 유출량 산정을 위한 합성단위도 개발 (Development of Synthetic Unit Hydrograph for Estimation of Runoff in Ungauged Watershed)

  • The synthetic unit hydrograph is developed and verified using Nash model and characteristic velocities considering geomorphological dispersion in this present study. Application watersheds are selected 5 subwatersheds of Bocheong basin. The mean and variance of hillslope and stream path length are estimated in each watershed with GIS. Characteristic velocities are calculated using estimated path lengths and moment characteristics of rainfall-runoff data. Characteristic velocities of random devised 7 ungauged watersheds are estimated through regional analysis of chracteristic velocities in guaged watershed. And Nash model parameters and IUH are derived using characteristic velocities and path length in the gauged and ungauged watershed. The result to compare of IUH about gauged watershed and random devised ungauged watershed in application watershed presents coherently hydrologic response characteristics that peak discharge is reduced and peak time is extended. In conclusion, Developed synthetic unit hydrograph in this study expects that it is useful method to estimate runoff discharge for managing of water pollution in ungauged watershed.

송전 선로의 사고 거리에 따른 특성 주파수 해석 (Analysis of Characteristic Frequency along Fault Distance on a Transmission Line)

  • Since the characteristic frequency is decreased in proportion to the fault distance, the characteristic frequency component may be insufficiently eliminated by a low-pass filter on a long transmission line. In order to set a standard for the cut-off frequency of the low-pass filter, this paper proposes a method for obtaining the characteristic frequencies due to line faults. The application results of the proposed method are presented for line to ground (LG) faults and line to line (LL) faults on a 345 kV 200 km overhead transmission line. The EMTP is used to generate fault signals under different fault locations and fault inception angles. By comparison between the characteristic frequencies obtained from the proposed method and the EMTP simulation, it is shown that the proposed method accurately obtains the characteristic frequency.

  • Recently the research about electron transport characteristic and energy distribute function in mixture gases within Helium, has been used and developed widely as industrial quality improvement of extinguish characteristic, electrical dielectric strength ability of application of each species high voltage apparatus, gas plasma etching progress of work to use manufacture of semiconductor, thin film molding by CVD, insulation film to use ultra LSI, etc. This paper analyze electron transport characteristic in the range E/N $1{\sim}60$[Td], pressure $0.1{\sim}6.0$[Torr] by MCS. It is necessary to seek electron drift velocity, diffusion coefficient, lonization coefficients, characteristic energy, mean energy and electron energy distribution function as electron transport characteristic.

  • This paper describes the improvement of frequency characteristic of crystal oscillator I.C using Ti-Salicide. The characteristics of transistor(drive current) using Ti-Salicide process are better than Poly-Si process, because the mobility. To know frequency characteristic of oscillator I.C, the simulation is performed using inverter buffer chain of Fan-out 10 TTL. Its result shows at once the generation of normal clock pulse in input signal and the improvement of rising and falling time.

  • In the generalized characteristic coordinate system (GCCS) proposed by Wu and Shi [1], the frame moves at a speed which is a linear combination of the convective speed and the sound speed, thus unifying the classical Eulerian approach, Lagrangian approach, and the unified coordinate system (UCS) of Hui and his co-workers [2]. Here some properties of Euler equations in the GCCS are studied and the advantages of GCCS in capturing expansion fans and shock waves are demonstrated by the results of numerical tests.

  • Characteristic boundary conditions are discussed in conjunction with a flux-difference splitting formulation as modified from Roe's linearization. Details of how one can implement the characteristic boundary conditions which are compatible with the discrete formulation at interior points are given for different types of boundaries including subsonic outflow and adiabatic wall. The latter conditions are demonstrated through computation of supersonic ogive-cylinder flow at high angle of attack and the computed wall pressure distribution is compared with experiment.

흙-수분 특성곡선 방정식을 이용한 체적함수비의 예측 (Prediction of the Volumetric Water Content Using the Soil-Water Characteristic Curve on an Unsaturated Soil)

  • The purpose of this paper was to confirm the application of the equation of the soil-water characteristic curve on an unsaturated soil. To this ends, a series of suction test was conducted on the selected 4 kinds of soil which is located in Korea, using the modified pressure extractor apparatus. And it was carried out to analyze the experimental parameters which can describe the soil-water characteristics, were determined by using the data obtained from the experiment. From the results, it was found that the matric suction was varied according to the grain size distribution, amount of fine grain particle and void ratio. Also it was found that the residual volumetric water content was decreased with the void ratio, but the index related air entry value, the soil parameter related water content and the parameter with residual water content were increased with the void ratio. And the application of equation of the soil-water characteristic curve was confirmed for the various conditions and the various state by the comparison between the volumetric water content measured by the experiment and the predicted values.

  • The aim of the work described in this paper was to confirm the application of the equation of the soil-water characteristic curves on an unsaturated soil. A Novel Battery State of Health Estimation Method Based on Outlier Detection Algorithm

  • A novel battery SOH estimation algorithm based on outlier detection has been presented. The Battery state of health (SOH) is one of the most important parameters that describes the usability state of the power battery system. Firstly, a battery system model with lifetime fading characteristic was established, and the battery characteristic parameters were acquired from the lifetime fading process. Then, the outlier detection method based on angular distribution was used to identify the outliers among the battery behaviors. Lastly, the functional relationship between battery SOH and the outlier distribution was obtained by polynomial fitting method. The experimental results show that the algorithm can identify the outliers accurately, and the absolute error between the SOH estimation value and true value is less than 3%.
