  • Purpose: Delivery food orders are on the rise due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Many customers are ordering food through delivery apps rather than visiting restaurants to eat out. Delivery application platforms are growing due to the development of O2O. Most of the people who provide gig worker for delivery applications are rider. Rider provides labor on their own terms and have more work flexibility and autonomy than ordinary workers. Trust can be transferred from a well-known entity to an unknown entity. From the customer's point of view of using the delivery application, trust can be seen through the third-party trust of the delivery application platform-rider-customer. Therefore, this study intends to investigate the effect on delivery application trust and rider trust through the well-known characteristics of delivery applications. Research design, data, and methodology: This study was conducted on Korean consumers over 20 years of age who have ordered food through a delivery application for the past month. After educating 5 investigators about the purpose of this study, 60 copies of the survey were conducted per person. During the investigation period, from September 2 to September 26, 2021, 322 copies were collected over 25 days. Among the collected questionnaires, 37 were excluded from insincere or partially unanswered, and 285 were used for analysis. In addition, the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 25.0. Result: As a result of the study, convenience, price, and variety of restaurants were found to have a significant positive (+) effect on app trust, but design did not have a significant effect on app trust. Also, it was found that convenience had a significant positive (+) effect on trust in rider, but design, price, and variety of restaurants did not have a significant effect. App trust was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on rider trust and intention to use, and it was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on rider trust and intention to use. Conclusions: First, this study established a structural framework between delivery application characteristics-delivery-app trust-rider trust-intention to use. Second, in this study, it was found that customer trust in well-known delivery applications was transferred to less-known rider trust. Third, the delivery application should increase the convenience of use. Fourth, delivery application should set the delivery fee appropriately. • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational performance with readiness to change and empower knowledge sharing quality as mediating variables. The survey was conducted by collecting the respondents' data by filling up forms which were designed using the google form application and collecting it using WhatsApp. This was performed on 400 respondents, encompassing employees from the National Agency of Drug and Food Control in Indonesia. The research model adopted was validated using Structural Equation Modeling technique with AMOS tool. The findings showed transformational leadership as a significant predictor of readiness to change and it proved relevant in empowering knowledge sharing quality, which in turn affects organizational performance. Furthermore, the effects of both two mediating variables was also examined, and only readiness to change significantly influenced the relationship between predictors of transformational leadership and organizational performance. The findings of this study showed the need for transformational leaders as the research focused on understanding the differences in employee character. This is required to encourage better performance by empowering quality knowledge dissemination mechanisms, with continuous in-house training activities. Therefore, the model adopted in this research and the hypotheses prove the direct effect of transformational leadership on organizational performance, achievable through the mediating role of readiness to change.

  • Recently, livestock breeding is more focused on the meat quality rather than meat quantity, mainly due to the improvement of consumers' income. Among the meat quality traits, meat color is one of very important traits because meat color is the first selection criterion from the consumers in the market. Most of the economically important traits have continuous variations and these are called quantitative traits. the genomic locations affecting these traits are called quantitative trait locus (QTL), which is mostly controlled by many genes having small effects. In this study, the recent QTL and candidate gene studies were reviewed in order to meet the consumers' demand for the future market. In the chicken QTL database, three traits are related with meat colors, namely breast color (Bco), meat color (Mco), drip loss (DL) and pH. The identified number of QTLs is 33 from 13 chromosomal regions. In these QTL regions, 14 candidate genes were identified; Eight for meat color (APP, BCMO1, COL1A2, FTO, KPNA2, PSMD12, G0S2, FTSJ3), two for drip loss (AGRP, FTO) and four for pH (GALNT1, PCDH19, DIAPH1, SPP2). These QTLs and candidate genes need to be confirmed and fine mapping is ultimately needed for identification of causative variations. The recently developed chicken resource population using Korean native chicken can be used for the improvement of meat quality traits, which increase the value that needed in the chicken industry.

  • As information and communications technology-based "smart hospitals" and "digital healthcare" have become a hot topic in the healthcare field, hospital mobile apps are gaining attention; but, the utilization rate is low due to lack of publicity, unstable systems, and late updates. In this situation, systematic research is needed to increase the utilization rate of hospital mobile apps, but related research has been rare. Therefore, this study integrates the information systems success model (ISSM) from the technical perspective and the expectation-confirmation model (ECM) from the cognitive perspective to demonstrate the influence mechanism on the continuous use intention of hospital mobile apps. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted among 181 Korean adults who have used hospital mobile apps. The results of the structual equation modeling showed that most of the quality factors have significant effects on expectation confirmation, perceived usefulness, and satisfaction. Additionally, expectation confirmation significantly affects perceived usefulness and satisfaction, and both perceived usefulness and satisfaction significantly affect the continuous use intention of hospital mobile apps. This study is of importance in that it integrates the ISSM and ECM and applies them to the context of using hospital mobile apps, which are underutilized in the healthcare field, and provides practical implications for increasing the utilization rate of hospital mobile apps and operating effective and efficient services through the findings.

  • The Testing Frontier Capability Assessment Model (TCAM) is based on ISO/IEC 9126, TMMi and TPI. Since ISO/IEC 9126, TMMi and TPI were made over 10 years ago, TCAM faces the problem that it can not assess and analyze the capability of small businesses that employ new software development methods or processes, for example Agile, TDD(Test Driven Development), App software, and Web Software. In this paper, a method to improve the problem is proposed. The paper is composed of the following sections: 1) ISO/IEC 9126, ISO/IEC 25010 and ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 part 2 review 2) TCAM review 3) software product quality perspective comparison, and analysis between ISO/IEC 9126, ISO/IEC 25010 and TCAM 4) comparison, and analysis between ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 part2 and TCAM and 5) proposal for the improvement of TCAM.

  • Museum management has been centered on curated exhibitions. Today, however, visitor-tailored exhibitions are all the rage, and various ICT-based services such as museum app's and exhibition explanation through QR code are being provided. To this trend, research on museum services using smartphones and SNS has been conducted. But there have been few studies of technical influence on the museum service satisfaction factors. This study, therefore, attempted to identify and classify the satisfaction factors of museum services with Kano model which explains service quality attributes. Samples from South Korea and Austria were analyzed There was a significant gap in quality factors according to cultural differences and a notable difference in perceived quality even for the factors in the same dimension. It implies that cultural differences need to be taken into account for the priority of museum services.

  • Pathfinding for pedestrians provided by various navigation programs is based on a shortest path search algorithm. There is no big difference in their guide results, which makes the path quality more important. Multiple criteria should be included in the search cost to calculate the path quality, which is called a multi-criteria pathfinding. In this paper we propose a user adaptive pathfinding algorithm in which the cost function for a multi-criteria pathfinding is defined as a weighted sum of multiple criteria and the weights are learned automatically by Perceptron learning. Weight learning is implemented in two ways: short-term weight learning that reflects weight changes in real time as the user moves and long-term weight learning that updates the weights by the average value of the entire path after completing the movement. We use the weight update method with momentum for long-term weight learning, so that learning speed is improved and the learned weight can be stabilized. The proposed method is implemented as an app and is applied to various movement situations. The results show that customized pathfinding based on user preference can be obtained.
