The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between anti-Korean media and behavior. This study analyzed anti-Korean books published in Japan from 2000 to 2016. This study also analyses a survey conducted by those who have read that publication. According to the result, over half of the anti-Korea books published after 2010 and related to politics, history, and society of Korea. According to a result of the survey, people mainly get anti-Korean information from the Internet. Anti-Korean books affect to the anti-Korean information behavior not directly. In conclusion, while anti-Korean books affect anti-Korean behavior, it depends on the type of media.

Objectives : This study aims to analyze the terms describing anti-aging effects in Dongeuibogam, and to propose the methodology for selecting medicinal herbs related to anti-aging effects. Methods : We considered aging or anti-aging theories by reviewing the major literature in korean medicine or traditional chinese medicine, and then we deduced the concepts describing anti-aging effects and the medicinal herbs for anti-aging effects. We investigated the medicinal herbs based on the terms describing anti-aging effects in Dongeuibogam and drew the methodology for selecting and classifying the medicinal herbs related to anti-aging. Results & Conclusions : The following conclusions could be drawn. 1. A set of causes and signs of aging in Dongeuibogam and a set of therapies for alleviating the aging signs in Chengumikbang, Yanglobongchinseo, and Nolohangeon was found. 2. Anti-aging effects should not be confused with disease treatments. Therefore, we defined the medical terms of anti-aging effects as "the terms expressing the effect of delaying or alleviating the subjective or objective signs of aging concretely". Based upon the terms of anti-aging effects, we defined the medicinal herbs for anti-aging effects as "the medicinal herbs whose effects are described in medical terms expressing the effects of delaying or alleviating the subjective or objective signs of aging concretely". 3. We considered Lycii Fructus, Asparagi Tuber in Dongeuibogam as examples of medicinal herbs whose effects are described in medical terms expressing anti-aging effects. It shows that we can select medicinal herbs for anti-aging effects by comparing the effects of 937 single therapies in Dongeuibogam to the terms describing anti-aging effects defined in this study. Futhermore, the results could be utilized as the basic materials of experimental study on anti-aging.

Objectives : This study was carried out to investigate the effects of Phellinus igniarius Quel extract on the Anti-inflammatory, Anti allergy, Anti-oxidant and Anti-wrinkle. Methods : To investigate in vitro anti-oxidant activity assay, ethanol extracts of medicinal plants tested by DPPH method. In the next experiment, to investigate anti-inflammatory test, the RAW 264.7 macrophage cells was cultured using DMEM including the 10% FBS. To study anti-allergic effect, we blended cultured Human Mast Cells(HMC-1), and then observe TNF-$\alpha$, IL-8 by ELISA Results : Phellinus igniarius Quel extract has the effects of anti-inflammation and anti-allergy, which may be due to its inhibitory potential on the macrophage activation. Furthermore, Phellinus igniarius Quel extract has the anti-wrinkle effects through the inhibitory potential on the collagnease, elastase and gelatinase activities. Conclusions : The above results suggest that Phellinus igniarius Quel extract could be applicable for improvement of several skin functions.

Objectives : To investigate the anti-aging effects of Joobang(酒方) on Dongeuibogam Methods : We analyzed the effect of 27 Joobang(酒方)s on Dongeuibogam and finally extracted 11 Joobang(酒方)s, which have anti-aging effects. Results & Conclusions : 1. We finally selected 12 terms of Joobang(酒方)'s anti-aging effect on Dongeuibogam. 2. We finally selected 11 Joobang(酒方)s as anti-aging candidates. 3. Twelve terms of Joobang(酒方)'s anti-aging effect and 11 candidates with anti-aging effects were classified into five categories. 4. We finally selected 17 medicinal herbs from the 11 candidates. 5. Eleven candidate anti-aging Joobang(酒方)s and 17 medicinal herbs proposed in this study have the potential to reduce the time required for experimental and clinical research for developing novel compounds with anti-aging effects.

Anti-circumvention rules were discussed profoundly during the Uruguay Round and the DDA negotiations, although WTO members failed to reached an agreement to introduce it to the WTO Anti-Dumping Agreement. However, as the cases of circumvention of anti-dumping duties increase, a number of countries have enacted anti-circumvention regulations as part of their anti-dumping laws. This study aims to analyze anti-circumvention rules from the perspective of WTO law. After overviewing the object and purpose of anti-dumping and anti-circumvention regulations, it examines anti-circumvention regulations of the US, the EU, and India. Next, the study explores the possible WTO-inconsistent aspects of those regulations. Then, it discusses whether it would be preferable for countries not equipped with anti-circumvention regulations, such as Korea, to have one. Thereafter, this study proposes Korean government to introduce anti-circumvention rules into its anti-dumping law.

The chemistry of secondary products from Acanthopanax species and their pharmacological activities were reviewed. A nitrogenous compound, a furan compound, a quinoid, benzoids, coumarins, phenylpropanoids, lignans, flavonoids, terpenoids, phytosterols, polyacetylenes, a pyrimidine, cyclitols, monosaccharides and an aliphatic alcohol have been isolated from Acanthopanax species and have been shown to have various levels of activities such as anti-bacterial, anti-cancer, anti-gout, anti-hepatitis, anti-hyperglycemic, anti-inflammatory, anti-leishmanicidic, anti-oxidant, anti-pyretic, anti-xanthine oxidase, choleretic, hemostatic, hypocholesterolemic, immunostimulatory and radioprotectant effects, etc.

The study was conducted to identify the anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer effects in sprouts of mouse-eyed bean (Rhynchosia nulubilis), ginseng (Panax ginseng), perilla (Perilla frutescens), broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica), and lettuce (Lactuca sativa) grown with organic germanium concentrate. Western blot analysis was performed to assess the anti-inflammatory activity of the extract. All extracts exhibited noticeable anti-oxidant activity, indicating a significant correlation between the germanium content and anti-oxidant activity (p<0.05). In particular, rat-eyed bean sprouts with the highest germanium content showed significant anti-inflammatory activity (p<0.05) by significantly inhibiting the expression of the inflammatory complexes, NLRP3, cytokines IL-1β and caspase-1. Ginseng and broccoli sprouts showed strong anti-cancer properties and had high anti-oxidant effects (p<0.001). Germanium-concentrated water allows the mass production of agricultural products containing high concentrations of organic germanium. Agricultural produce grown with germanium concentrate add organic germanium to various physiological active ingredients, increasing the anti-oxidant and anti-cancer effects. These results strongly suggest that agricultural products containing high germanium concentrations can be used as novel health supplements to improve health.

This study examined the Japanese and Chinese journalist's views on anti-Korean wave, who are the public and authoritative discourse producers in Japan and China, respectively. In so doing, the study aims to understand the ways in which the phenomena of anti-Korean wave take place and are diffused. According to the findings, anti-Korean wave in north-east Asia is affected by anti-Korea sentiments that have been induced from historical and political relations as well as cultural conflicts. In specific, the anti-Korea sentiments found in both Japan and China are geopolitical particularity and historical relations function to frame their cultural receptions of Korean pop culture. In other words, the phenomena of anti-Korean wave in both countries do not stem directly from local audiences' either discontents or apathy on Korean pop contents. However, while Japanese anti-Korean wave seems to be mere expressions of anti-Korea sentiments, Chinese sentiments of anti-Korean wave are triggered and transferred by, or articulated with their anti-Korea sentiments.

Objectives This study was designed to investigate whether the Cheongajihwang-Tang (CT) has an inhibitory effect association with oxidation or inflammation in RAW264.7 cells. Methods Cytotoxic activity of CT extract on RAW264.7 cells was evaluated by using 3-[4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2, 5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) solution. Nitric oxide production was measured using Griess reagent system. The total phenolic contents and 1,1-Diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity was measured to evaluate the anti-oxidative effects of CT. Dichlorofluorescin diacetate (DCFH-DA) has been used as a substrate for measuring intracellular oxidant production. Results Cheongajihwang-Tang does not impair the cell viability in tested concentration. CT showed anti-oxidative effects in vitro by decreasing electron donating ability, and also showed anti-inflammatory effects suppressing NO and ROS expression in LPS induced RAW264.7 activation. CT inhibited the generation of intracellular ROS production as dose dependant manner. Conclusions CT has anti-oxidative effects and anti-inflammatory activities. These results indicate that CT extract has an anti-inflammatory activities via anti-oxidative effects.

When preparing for a blood transfusion, the presence and types of unexpected antibodies should be identified through screening tests. Using the DiaMed-ID system, antibody identification among unexpected antibody screening tests performed at a university hospital in Daejeon area for two years from January 2016 to December 2017 were limited to 55 patients and were predominantly women. A total of 36 patients (65.5%) belonged to the Rh group, 7 (12.7%) patients to the Lewis group, 4 (7.3%) patients to the Kidd and Duffy groups, 3 patients (5.5%) to the MNS group, and 1 (1.8%) to the Rh+Kidd combined group. In the Rh group, 19 (34.5%) patients had Anti-E single antibody, 5 (9.1%) patients had Anti-D single antibody, 4 (7.3%) patients had Anti-E/-c, 4 (7.3%) patients had Anti-C/-e, and 1 (1.8%) patient had $Anti-E/-c/-Jk^b$. In the Lewis group, three (5.5%) patients had both $Anti-Le^a$ and $Anti-Le^b$. In the Kidd group, one (1.8%) patient had $Anti-Jk^a$ and three (5.5%) patients had $Anti-Jk^b$. In the Duffy and MNS groups, only single antibody was found: one (1.8%) patient with $Anti-Fy^a$, three (5.5%) patients with $Anti-Fy^b$, two (3.6%) patients with Anti-M, and one (1.8%) patient with Anti-S. This study reflects the recent frequencies and distributions of unexpected antibodies in Daejeon, which would be helpful for the efficient preparation for transfusions.
