Assessment of geological hazards in landslide risk using the analysis process method

  • Landslides are one of the natural disasters that cause a lot of financial and human losses every year It will be all over the world. China, especially. The Mainland China can be divided into 12 zones, including 4 high susceptibility zones, 7 medium susceptibility zones and 1 low susceptibility zone, according to landslide proneness. Climate and physiography are always at risk of landslides. The purpose of this research is to prepare a landslide hazard map using the Hierarchical Analysis Process method. In the GIS environment, it is in a part of China watershed. In order to prepare a landslide hazard map, first with Field studies, a distribution map of landslides in the area and then a map of factors affecting landslides were prepared. In the next stage, the factors are prioritized using expert opinion and hierarchical analysis process and nine factors including height, slope, slope direction, geological units, land use, distance from Waterway, distance from the road, distance from the fault and rainfall map were selected as effective factors. Then Landslide risk zoning in the region was done using the hierarchical analysis process model. The results showed that the three factors of geological units, distance from the road and slope are the most important have had an effect on the occurrence of landslides in the region, while the two factors of fault and rainfall have the least effect The landslide occurred in the region.

겨울철 도시부 노면결빙사고 발생에 미치는 요소에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Factors of Traffic Accidents Caused by Frozen Urban Road Surfaces in the Winter)

  • PURPOSES: According to accident statistics for road built in 2004, the ratio of accidents on frozen roads to normal roads is 0.9%, whereas the fatality ratio is 2.7%. The risk of accidents on frozen roads is very high. Measures taken every year to prevent traffic accidents of frozen roads in the winter season are still insufficient. Additionally, measures have been established mainly on rural roads. Therefore, for urban roads, analyses and measures to prevent accidents are lacking. In this study, data on accidents on frozen roads was used to search for the causes behind these accidents and measures to reduce accidents have been recommended. METHODS: In this study, collected data from the TAMS (Traffic Accident Management System), which were collected by the Seoul National Police Agency was used. The data were divided into vehicle, people, and condition of road. The analytical model used here was the Logistic Regression Model, which is frequently used for traffic safety and accident analysis. This study uses the odds ratio analysis to search for variables related to frozen road traffic accidents in each category. A total of 18 out of 47 variables were found to be the causes of accidents. RESULTS: From the results of the comparative analysis of 18 variables, the category of the condition of the road was found to be the most critical. Contrary to expectations, more accidents occurred in clear weather than in other conditions. Accidents on bridges occurred frequently, and its odds ratio was the highest compared with other road types. When BPT is operated, the probability of accidents on frozen roads is lower than in general conditions, and accidents occurred frequently on roads with less than four lanes. CONCLUSIONS : Based on the results of this study, suggestions for reducing the risk of future domestic road accidents in freezing conditions are indicated as follows. First, it is necessary to perform a technical review of the urban road traffic accidents caused by frozen roads. Second, it is necessary to establish criteria for the study of the road environment based on the major causes of road accidents on frozen roads. Third, improvements in urban road environmental factors should be made.

도로이동오염원의 활동도와 도로변 질소산화물 농도의 관계 (Relation with Activity of Road Mobile Source and Roadside Nitrogen Oxide Concentration)

  • Ozone has been a problem in big cities. That is secondary air pollutant produced by nitrogen oxide and VOCs in the atmosphere. In order to solve this, the first to be the analysis of the $NO_x$ and VOCs. The main source of nitrogen oxide is the road mobile. Industrial sources in Seoul are particularly low, and mobile traffics on roads are large, so 45% of total $NO_x$ are estimated that road mobile emissions in Seoul. Thus, it is necessary to clarify the relation with the activity of road mobile source and $NO_x$ concentration. In this study, we analyzed the 4 locations with roadside automatic monitoring systems in their center. The V.K.T. calculating areas are set in circles with 50 meter spacing, 50 meter to 500 meter from their center. We assumed the total V.K.T. in the set radius affect the $NO_x$ concentration in the center. We used the hourly $NO_x$ concentrations data for the 4 observation points in July for the interference of the other sources are minimized. We used the intersection traffic survey data of all direction for construction of the V.K.T. data, the mobile activities on the roads. ArcGIS application was used for calculating the length of roads in the set radius. The V.K.T. data are multiplied by segment traffic volume and length of roads. As a result, the $NO_x$ concentration can be expressed as linear function formula for V.K.T. with high predictive power. Moreover we separated background concentration and concentrations due to road mobile source. These results can be used for forecasting the effect of traffic demand management plan.

도로 네트워크와 통행량 기반의 공간 접근성 지수가 주택가격에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Spatial Accessibility Index, Based on Road Network and Actual Trips, on Housing Price)

  • This study aims to empirically identify the effect of spatial accessibility, based on travel, on housing prices in the Korean capital region. More specifically, it has two research purposes: First, investigating the effect of comprehensive spatial accessibility, based on road network and actual trips from origin to destination, on average apartment price (Korean Won per square meter) at the level of Eup, Myeon and Dong; Second, identifying better accessibility index between Hansen's and Kalogirou and Foley's ones. The former represents a road-based travel time decay function with destination trips, while the latter is a function with origin trips as well as destination ones. The study employs spatial economic models considering spatial auto-correlative relationship as an appropriate methodology with such control independent indicators as population density, road density, educational environment and distances from CBDs. Analysis results demonstrate that spatial accessibility, based on road network and actual trips from origin to destination, has a statistically significant impacts on housing price in the region. Our empirical evidence proves that the Hansen index is more appropriate than the other in estimating housing price impacts.

서울시 폭설위험도 평가방안 (Suggestion of Heavy Snow Risk Analysis in Seoul)

  • PURPOSES : This study is to suggest heavy snow risk analysis in Seoul. METHODS : Recently, the increase of extreme weather caused by global warming raises the occurrences of unpredictable natural disasters and the loss potential of human disasters by land use facilities accumulation. It is necessary to develop the risk analysis for the natural and human disasters. RESULTS : In this study, heavy snow risk analysis among natural disasters in Seoul was suggested. The spatial unit of risk analysis level was established for the lines and administrative districts. CONCLUSIONS : The risk analysis was performed using risk matrix of disaster occurrence score and disaster damage score. The components affecting the risk disaster analysis by types were analyzed and the application of heavy snow risk analysis was suggested.

표준 점수법을 응용한 주거환경 수준 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement of the Residence Environment Level by the Z-Score)

  • The residence environment is the basis and the receptacle of daily lives and activitives. It influences on the formation of mans personality as an artificial environment. This study aims to analyze the residence environment level of the some local cities by using the Z-score method and to propose a higher residence environment. The elements of measurement in this study are determined by the general methodology. The results are as followings: 1. The residence environment level of Yeosu and Mokpo is high, that of Andong and Kyeongsan is low in this study. The ratio of road paving is the most related element in the correlation analysis. 2. The ratio of sewage supply is low compared with the scale of the dwelling area. So the sanitation environment should be improved. 3. In this correlation analysis on the residence pattern, the ratio of a single detached house is more positive than that of a multi-family house. So the single detached house pattern will be desirable in the residence environment.

A Comparative analysis of the Pre- and Post-Construction Image Analysis of the Nakdong Estuary as Coastal Tourism Resource

  • The purpose of this study is the comparative analysis of Susan citizens' images of Eulsook-do as a coastal tourism destination before and after the construction of a road bridge across the Nakdong estuary in order to analyze local people's changes in leisure patterns. Analysis of the images of a pre-construction Eulsook-do that people aged both 40 and less and 50 and more had on five dimensions showed values higher than zero(0) that suggests neutral image, while their images of a post-construction Eulsook-do showed the shrinking size of pentagon on all five dimensions: ET(Entertainment), CA(Culture & Art), EE(Environment & Ecology), RC(Recreation) and LP(Leports) dimensions. Its pre- and post- construction image analysis conducted 20 years after it came to be built finds that the road bridge construction has led to the ecological, environmental disruption of the coast and the lower Nakdong river, having negative influence on the images of Eulsook-so.

  • 울산지역은 1962년 공업 특구로 지정된 후 지난 30년 동안 우리나라의 기간 산업인 석유화학, 제련, 자동차, 조선공업 등 대단히 크고 많은 생산시설이 입주하여 운영 중에 있다. 특히 1974년부터 가동된 온산 국가공업단지에 많은 비철금속관련 업체들이 들어서면서 해양, 토양 뿐 아니라 대기중의 중금속 오염도를 가속 시켜 왔다. 최근 환경부 대기중의 중금속 측정망 분석 결과에 따르면 울산은 국내 여러 공단 도시에 비해 중금속의 오염정도가 매우 심각한 것으로 나타나고 있다. 특히, 온산공단의 대기나 토양의 카드뮴의 오염은 국내 최고치를 나타내고 있다. 한국형 전술차량 크로스멤버 강도개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Cross Member Strength Improvement of Korean Light Tactical Vehicle)

  • 한국형 전술차량(KLTV)의 섀시는 장비 운용 특성상 경량화 설계기술을 적용한 프레임 온 바디 구조를 적용하고 있다. 군용차량은 민수차량 대비 가혹한 도로 환경에서 사용되고 있으며, 특히 경사가 가파른 산악지형에서 운용되는 경우가 많다. 이러한 장비 운용 특성으로 인해 일부 전방부대 차량에서 프레임을 구성하는 크로스멤버 용접부위에 균열이 확인되었다. 이에 본 논문에서는 균열이 발생된 부대를 포함한 다양한 운용 도로 환경 파악을 통해 노면 가혹도 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 일부 부대의 전술도로는 차량 개발 시 내구도 주행시험을 실시한 도로보다 약 1.6배 이상 훨씬 가혹한 조건임을 확인하였다. 또한 전술차량 프레임에 대한 설계 검토 및 고품 분석을 통해 용접부위 균열 발생 근본원인을 파악하고, 설계 및 공정개선 방안을 도출하였다. 제안된 개선안은 실차 적용을 통한 검증시험으로 효과성을 확인하였다. 아울러 내구도 주행시험에 대한 발전방향을 제시함으로써 향후 유사 차량 개발 시 참고자료로 활용할 수 있도록 하였다.

보행환경요인이 보행안전에 미치는 영향분석 (Effect of Walking-Environment Factor on Pedestrian Safety)

  • 보행은 인간의 기본적이면서 중요한 교통수단이다. 최근 들어 보행자 사고와 관련하여 보행안전이 중요시되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 보행환경요소가 보행안전에 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 선행연구에서 15개의 보행환경요소를 추출하여 설문조사를 실시하였고, 요인분석을 통해 4개의 요인을 추출하였다. 다중회귀분석 결과 F-value는 9.211, P-value는 0.000으로 귀무가설이 기각되어 보행환경요인은 보행안전에 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 영향력은 보도특성, 경관성, 상업성, 보행특성의 순으로, 특히 경관성과 보도특성은 유의미한 것으로 분석되었다.
