CFRD 차수벽지지죤 강성이 콘크리트차수벽 거동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Stiffness of Face Supporting Zone on Face Slab Behaviors of CFRD)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 원심모형실험으로 담수에 따른 CFRD 차수벽의 거동을 모사하는 방법 및 절차를 제시하고, 실험결과로 부터 콘크리트차수벽의 휨강성이 차수벽의 변위에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 원심모형실험으로 검증된 수치해석을 통하여 차수벽지지죤 강성이 차수벽콘크리트의 변위와 모멘트에 미치는 영향을 평가하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 실제 운영 중인 D댐에 대해 차수벽의 강성을 2가지로 변화시킨 원심모형실험을 수행하였고, 모형체의 축조재료에 대한 삼축압축실험을 수행하고 그 결과를 입력치로 한 수치해석을 통해 원심모형실험을 모사하였다. 모사된 수치해석 결과를 실험결과와 비교하여 수치모형의 적정성을 확인하고 확인된 수치모형에 대해 지지죤 강성을 변화시킨 수치해석을 수행하여 지지죤 강성변화에 따른 콘크리트 차수벽의 연직변위 및 모멘트 발생 양상을 분석하였다. 차수벽 두께를 2가지로 달리한 원심모형실험 결과, CFRD 차수벽 변위는 차수 목적의 콘크리트 두께 범위 내에서는 두께의 영향이 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다. 원심모형실험과 수치해석 결과로부터 담수 시 CFRD 차수벽의 변위 및 최대변위 발생위치는 콘크리트차수벽 휨강성에는 영향이 거의 없고, 차수벽지지죤의 강성이 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

비소세포성 폐암 환자의 방사선 치료 시 제한 호흡 주기의 유용성 평가 (Evaluation of the Usefulness of Restricted Respiratory Period at the Time of Radiotherapy for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Patient)

  • 목 적: 비소세포성 폐암 환자의 호흡 조절 방사선 치료 시 호흡에 의한 종양의 움직임을 최소화하는 것이 필수적이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 자유호흡 주기와 제한호흡 주기를 각각 적용한 치료 계획을 비교, 분석하여 제한 호흡 주기의 유용성을 평가하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법: 2011년 4월부터 12월까지 비소세포성 폐암 환자 9명(tumor n=10)을 대상으로 환자에게 평소의 호흡주기를 바탕으로 측정한 '자유호흡 주기'와 의도적으로 줄인 '제한호흡 주기'를 '신호모니터-호흡(guided-breathing)'법을 사용하여 각각 훈련을 실시한 후 RPM과 4차원 전산화 단층촬영 모의치료기를 이용해 치료계획용 4D CT를 실시하여 총 10개의 호흡 위상(respiration phase)별 CT 영상을 획득하였다. 각 호흡 주기의 CT 영상에 관측자 두 명이 각각 설정한 육안적 종양체적(Gross Tumor Volume, GTV)과 내부표적체적(Internal Target Volume, ITV)부피를 측정, 비교하였고 들숨(end-inspiration, EI)인 0%와 날숨(end-exhalation, EE)인 50% 위상에서의 center of mass (COM)를 측정하여 종양 움직임의 진폭을 측정했다. 또한 관측자 두명이 각각 두 호흡 주기를 적용한 치료계획을 수립하였고 정상 폐 평균선량(mean dose to normal lung, MDTNL)과 정상 폐 용적의 정상조직합병증확률(normal tissue complication probability, NTCP)을 비교, 분석하였으며 측정된 자료의 정량적 평가를 위해 통계 분석을 실시했다. 결 과: 관측자 두 명의 '제한호흡 주기'를 적용한 치료 계획을 분석한 결과 '자유호흡 주기'에 비해 종양의 3D 방향 움직임이 관측자 1의 경우 38.75%, 관측자 2의 경우 41.10%의 감소율을 보였고 GTV와 ITV의 부피를 측정, 비교한 결과 GTV의 부피는 관측자 1의 경우 $14.96{\pm}9.44%$, 관측자 2의 경우 $19.86{\pm}10.62%$, ITV의 부피는 관측자 1의 경우 $8.91{\pm}5.91%$, 관측자 2의 경우 $15.52{\pm}9.01%$의 감소율을 보였으며 MDTNL과 NTCP를 분석, 비교한 결과 MDTNL은 관측자 1의 경우 $3.98{\pm}5.62%$, 관측자 2의 경우 $7.62{\pm}10.29%$의 감소율을, NTCP의 경우 관측자 1의 결과 $21.70{\pm}28.27%$, 관측자 2의 결과 $37.83{\pm}49.93%$의 감소율을 나타냈다. 또한 두 관측자의 결과 값의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 '자유호흡 주기'에서는 관측자간의 유의한 차이를 보이는 데 비해 '제한호흡 주기'에서는 관측자간의 차이가 없는 감소율을 보였다. 결 론: '자유호흡 주기'에 비해 '제한호흡 주기'를 적용한 치료 계획에서 평가인자들의 상대적인 감소를 나타내어 비소세포성 폐암 환자의 호흡 조절 방사선 치료 시 '제한호흡 주기'의 유용성 및 타당성을 확인할 수 있었다.

북한 핵실험 모니터링 : 1, 2차 비교 (Monitoring North Korea Nuclear Tests: Comparison of 1st and 2nd Tests)

  • 북한지역에서 핵실험으로 추정되는 두 번의 발파가 관측되었다. 한국지질자원연구원 관측소와 한중 공동관측소는 북한과 주변국간의 경계에 고르게 분포하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 북한 핵실험 장소로부터 200 km에서 550 km 거리에 있는 광대역 지진 관측소의 자료를 사용하여 북한의 2차례 핵실험을 비교 분석하였다. 관측소별 1차 실험과 2차 실험의 초동 Pn 도착 시간차를 비교함으로서 상대적인 위치이동을 계산할 수 있다. Pn 속도를 8 km/s로 가정하고, 실험 장소와 관측소간의 기하학적인 관계를 이용하여 계산한 결과, 2차 장소는 1차 장소로부터 서북서 방향으로 2 km 거리에 위치하는 것으로 추정된다. P 파로부터 계산된 2차 실험의 실체파 규모는 평균적으로 4.5이나, 관측소별로는 최대 5.2에서 최소 4.1로 아주 큰 차이를 보인다. 이에 비해 Lg 파로부터 계산한 2차 실험의 규모는 평균적으로 4.6이며, 관측소별로 최대 4.7에서 최소 4.3사이로 P 파에 의한 규모에 비해 관측소간의 차이가 작다. 1, 2차 실험의 이동 윈도우 주파수 스펙트럼은 매우 비슷한 패턴을 보여 주며 두 실험의 초동 P 파의 모서리 주파수는 거의 차이가 없다. 따라서 2차 실험의 깊이가 1차 때와 비슷한 것으로 추정된다. 2차 실험의 폭발력은 관측소별 1차와 2차의 지반속도비로부터 계산한 결과 1차에 비하여 8배 큰 것으로 추정된다.

한국인 영어학습자의 명사구 발화에서 영어 능숙도에 따른 관사와 단음절 명사 모음 길이 비교 (Comparison of vowel lengths of articles and monosyllabic nouns in Korean EFL learners' noun phrase production in relation to their English proficiency)

  • 본 연구는 기능어인 관사 및 1음절 내용어 명사로 구성된 명사구 내 두 단어의 모음 길이 비율과 영어 능숙도 사이의 상관관계를 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 영어와 한국어 발음에 있어서 대표적 차이 중 하나는 발음상의 리듬이라는 특정적인 요소가 규칙적으로 나타나는지 여부이다. 특히 영어 발화시 내용어는 기능어 대비 상대적으로 더 두드러진(prominent) 소리를 가지게 되는데 이는 영어에서 내용어의 경우 강세를 갖게 되나 기능어의 경우 그 강세가 미비하거나 강세를 갖지 않기 때문이다. 따라서 영어의 내용어 단어 내 모음은 기능어 단어의 모음보다 길게 발음되며, 더 큰 소리로 발화되며, 더 높은 소리를 가지고 리듬을 만들어 내게 된다. 이를 근거로 본 연구에서는 내용어 내 강세를 갖는 모음과 기능어 내 강세를 갖지 않는 모음의 길이 차이에 초점을 두고 유창성이 평가된 L2 영어 음성 코퍼스(Rated K-SEC) 중 한국인 초등학생이 발화한 879(원어민 발화 20개 포함)개의 문장 내 명사구 음성 파일을 연구자료로 사용하였다. 이 879개의 문장은 영어 유창성 평가에 따라 4개의 등급으로 각각 재분류되었으며 이들 문장안에 들어 있는 명사구 내의 관사의 모음 길이와 명사의 모음 길이를 확인하고 그 비율을 측정하였다. 분석 결과 관사 모음 대비 명사 모음 길이 비율은 영어 능숙도와 양의 상관관계를 갖는 것을 확인하였다[Advanced(2.453)>Intermediate High(1.26)>Intermediate Low(1.034)>Novice(0.857)]. 또한 각 능숙도 그룹 간 내용어-기능어 간 모음 길이의 차이 및 그 비율의 차이가 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다(p< .001). 이는 한국인 화자의 경우 영어 유창성이 높아질수록 영어 단어 발화 시 명사구 내의 기능어인 관사 모음보다 내용어인 명사 모음을 통계적으로 유의하게 더 길게 발화한다는 것을 의미한다.

형태적 수렴 특성을 이용한 하구 분류 (Classification of Estuaries based on Morphological Convergence)

  • 하구의 분류는 크게 지형경관적 특성에 근거한 정성적인 분류와 수괴의 물리적 특성에 근거한 정량적 분류로 구분될 수 있으나, 전자는 하구의 특성을 정량화하기 어려우며 후자는 자료부족으로 인해 폭넓은 적용이 어렵다. 하구의 형태적 수렴 특성은 자료의 획득이 상대적으로 용이하면서도 하구의 조석전파 특성과 연관시킬 수 있어 하구분류 기준으로 사용하기 적합하다. 본 연구는 국내 19개 하구에 대해 하구의 형태적 수렴특성을 이용하여 하구별 특징을 파악하고 분류를 시도한 것이다. 하구의 수심과 너비자료를 이용하여 수심과 너비의 감소율(${\nu}$)과 무차원화된 하구의 길이($y_0$)를 구하고, 1차원 수심적분 운동방정식과 연속방정식으로부터 유도한 전이함수 ${\xi}({\nu},ky)$${\nu}$$y_0$을 대입하여 하구별 조위/조석 진폭비와 조위/조류 위상차를 도출하였다. 이 결과를 토대로 19개 하구의 특징을 파악하고 3개 그룹을 구분하였다. 국내 19개 하구는 크게 조위 변동이 조류 변동보다 우세한 제1그룹, 하구와 조류 변동이 조위 변동보다 우세한 제2그룹, 그리고 1그룹과 2그룹의 전이 형태를 갖는 제3그룹 하구로 분류된다. 민감도 분석 결과 하구분류 알고리듬은 하구 길이의 변화에 큰 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 하구 길이가 과대 혹은 과소 추정되었을 때 본래의 조위/조류 진폭비는 과소 혹은 과대 추정되며, 본래의 조위/조류 위상차는 과대 혹은 과소 추정된다. 그러므로 형태적 수렴 특성을 이용하여 하구분류를 하고자 할 때는 하구 길이의 적절한 산정이 무엇보다 중요하다. 하구분류 알고리듬은 수심의 변화를 무시하여도 동일한 분류 결과를 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 하구길이의 적절한 산정이 전제될 경우 하구분류 알고리듬이 자료의 제약 없이 대부분의 국내하구에 적용할 수 있음을 의미한다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm.
