AACH 를 이용한 고순도 알루미나 분말 제조 (Preparation of Ultra Fine Alumina Powder Via Ammonium Aluminium Carbonate Hydroxide)

  • The ultra fine gamma-alumina powder was prepared via ammonium aluminium carbonate hydroxide (AACH). The XRD, SEM, BET, thermal analysis were used to characterize the samples. The effects of various reaction parameters as concentration, of solution, anion on specific area, PH, aging time and thermal decomposition condition on the produced AACH and alumina were discussed.

  • 양쪽성 계면활성제인 dodecyldimethyl(3-sulfopropyl)ammonium hydroxide(LSB, $CH_3(CH_2)_{11}N^+(CH_3)_2(CH_2)_3SO{_3}^-$)와 LSB/Tween-20, LSB/Tween-40, LSB/Tween-80 및 LSB/DTAB, LSB/TTAB, LSB/CTAB 혼합계면활성제의 임계미셀농도(CMC)값을 284 K에서 312 K의 온도범위에서 UV/Vis 분광광도법으로 측정하였다. 열역학적 연구를 위해 온도의 변화가 미셀화에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 계산한 결과 측정범위 내에서 미셀화에 따른 깁스 자유에너지값은 측정범위 내에서 모두 음의 값을 나타내었다. 한편 엔탈피값은 Tween-20에서는 양의 값을 그리고 다른 계면활성제에서는 음의 값을 나타내었다. 엔트로피값은 측정한 온도범위 내에서 모두 양의 값을 나타내었다. 또한 모든 열역학 함수값들은 온도와 알킬-그룹의 길이에 따라 큰 변화를 보였다.

  • To advance luminance efficiency of Titania at visible range, N-doped $TiO_2$ was prepared by using ammonium hydroxide as a source of nitrogen. The photoactivities of the synthesized $TiO_2$ were evaluated on the basis of degradation of humic acid in aqueous solutions with different light sources, UV-C, UV-A and fluorescent lamp. As a result, at UV-C is high efficiency $UV_{254}$ decrease and TOC removal. In this study, the best synthetic conditions of N-doped $TiO_2$ were 5.0 M of ammonium hydroxide concentration and calcination temperature of $550^{\circ}C$. The degradation rate of humic acid as an evaluation of photoactivities of the catalysts were conducted with pH variation, decrease rate of molecular absorption, removal rate of total organic carbon and fluorescece evolution for humic acid solution. XRD and SEM were applied for analysis of surface analysis of the catalysts.

폐니켈-카드뮴 전지로부터 황산암모늄을 이용한 수산화니켈 제조 방안 연구 (A study on the Synthesis of Nickel Hydroxide by Ammonium Sulfate from Waste Nickel-Cadmium Batteries)

  • 폐니켈-카드뮴전지 내의 니켈과 카드뮴을 분리하기 위한 재활용 기술 중 황산암모늄($(NH_4)_2SO_4$)을 이용하여 니켈을 침전시킴으로써 분리하는 기술이 보고되고 있어, 실제 산업현장에서 사용 중인 침출액을 이용하여 pH, 온도, 황산암모늄의 투입량 등을 변수로 하여 최적의 니켈 회수 조건을 도출하였다. pH의 경우 중성, 염기성에 비해 산성의 침출액에 황산암모늄을 투입했을 때 안정적인 황산니켈암모늄($(NH_4)_2Ni(SO_4)_26H_2O$)이 형성되었으며, 침출액의 온도는 $60^{\circ}C$일 때 가장 높은 순도를 나타내었다. 황산암모늄의 투입량은 니켈 함량 대비 2배의 몰 비로 투입했을 때 높은 회수율과 가장 적은 불순물 함량을 나타내었다. 서로 다른 두 공정을 통한 수산화니켈 제조 결과, 황산니켈암모늄 이용 시 카드뮴이 1.4% 검출되었고 황화나트륨($Na_2S$)을 이용하여 카드뮴을 제거한 용액에서 수산화니켈 제조 시에는 침출액 내 포함되어 있던 철과 니켈이 동시에 석출되었다. 본 연구를 통해 황산암모늄을 이용한 니켈 회수가 유용한 재활용 기술이 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

압저항 효과를 이용한 실리콘 압력센서 제작공정의 최적화 (Optimization on the fabrication process of Si pressure sensors utilizing piezoresistive effect)

  • 본 논문에서는 압저항 효과를 이용한 Si 압력센서 제작을 최적화하였다. Si 압저항형 압력센서의 제작공정에 있어서 압저항과 알루미늄 회로 패턴 이후에 Si 이방성 식각을 통하여 수율이 개선되었다. 압저항의 위치와 공정 파라메터는 각각 ANSYS와 SUPREME 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 결정하였다. Boron-depth 프로파일 측정으로부터 p-형 Si 압저항의 두께를 측정한 결과 SUPREME 시뮬레이션으로부터 얻은 결과와 잘 부합하였다. 다이아프램을 위한 Si 이방성 식각 공정은 암모늄 첨가제 AP(Ammonium persulfate)를 TMAH(Tetra-methyl ammonium hydroxide) 용액에 첨가함으로써 최적화되었다.

Camelina oil transesterification using mixed catalyst of tetra methyl amonium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide on the tubular reactor

  • The analysis of reaction kinetics provided that the reaction order was the $1^{st}$ of triglyceride and the rate constant was 0.067 $min^{-1}$. The transesterification of camelina oil using 0.6 wt% mixed catalyst which consists of 40 v/v% of potassium hydroxide (1 wt%) and 60 v/v% of tetra methyl ammonium hydroxide (0.8 wt%), was carried out at $65^{\circ}C$ on the tubular reactor packed with static mixer. The conversion was shown to be 95.5% at the 6:1 molar ratio of methanol to oil, flow rate of feed of 3.0 mL/min and 24 of element of static mixer. The volume of washing water emitted by 0.6 wt% mixed catalyst was the half of the volume emitted by 1 wt% potassium hydroxide.

  • In classical titrimetric analyses, the major concern is the concentration of titrant, usually the aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide, that could be changed as time goes by and it is accompanied with the inaccuracy of the resulting data. And the statistical approach, the nonlinear regression analysis, which is a well-known statistical method, was introduced to determine the accurate concentration of the titrant and the exact value of parameters, $K_a$, r, $C_a$, $C_b$, for 0.01 M aqueous solutions of analytes, sodium pyruvate, sodium acetate, sodium bicarbonate, ammonium hydroxide, ammonium chloride and acetic acid at $25^{\circ}C$. We used Gauss-Newton method for the linearlization of the nonlinear titration system and the two-parameter fitting showed appreciable convergent data for the parameters of the analytes set with the various range of $K_a$ value.

  • The surface etching characteristics of single crystalline silicon wafer were investigated using potassium hydroxide (KOH) and tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAH). The saw damage layer was removed after 10min by KOH 45wt% solution at $80^{\circ}C$. The wafer etched at high temperature ($90^{\circ}C$) and in low concentration (4wt%) of TMAH solution showed an increased etch rate of silicon wafer and wavy patterns on the surface. Especially, pyramidal textures were formed in 4wt% TMAH solution without alcohol additives.

  • Effects of staining, buffer washing and denaturing agents on the transferrability of RNA fractionated on a methylmercury hydroxide-agarose gel to a nitrocellulose membrane were studied. Ethidium bromide staining and ammonium acetate buffer washing inhibited RNA transfer, while 3% HCHO and 0.5 M NaOH treatments stimulated transfer which was negated in the ammonium acetate buffer. Accordingly, maintenance of primary structure of RNA was proved to be essential for transferring RNA from the methylmercury hydroxideagarose gel to the nitrocellulose membrane.

  • The nickel0zinc allot depositions have been studjen in ammonium chloridw added chloride baths to fine out the effects of ultrasonic irradiation for the electrodeposition processes. The compositions of deposited alloys, the current efficiencies, corrosion resistance and brightness in various conditions of electrodeposition were investigated, in the range of ultrasonic irradiation of 50,500 and 1,000kc/s respectively. The results obtained are as follows; 1. the ratio of nikel to zinc in the deposit increased according 시 the ammonium chloride concentration in irradiated baths. 2. The current efficiencies became also higer in the irradiated bath. 3. Ammonium ions in solution seem to retard formation of zinc hydroxide. 4. The corrsion resistance and brightness of the deposits are dependent upon nickel content of deposits which ranges 10-18%(wt)nickel in the irradiated baths and 11-15%(wt)in ninirradisted baths. 5. The corrosion resistance and brightnes of the deposited are appreciably better in the irradiated baths than in non-irradiated bath with the mole ratio of 3.4(NH+4/Ni+++Zn++).
