AM-FM Decomposition and Estimation of Instantaneous Frequency and Instantaneous Amplitude of Speech Signals for Natural Human-robot Interaction (자연스런 인간-로봇 상호작용을 위한 음성 신호의 AM-FM 성분 분해 및 순간 주파수와 순간 진폭의 추정에 관한 연구)

  • A Vowel of speech signals are multicomponent signals composed of AM-FM components whose instantaneous frequency and instantaneous amplitude are time-varying. The changes of emotion states cause the variation of the instantaneous frequencies and the instantaneous amplitudes of AM-FM components. Therefore, it is important to estimate exactly the instantaneous frequencies and the instantaneous amplitudes of AM-FM components for the extraction of key information representing emotion states and changes in speech signals. In tills paper, firstly a method decomposing speech signals into AM - FM components is addressed. Secondly, the fundamental frequency of vowel sound is estimated by the simple method based on the spectrogram. The estimate of the fundamental frequency is used for decomposing speech signals into AM-FM components. Thirdly, an estimation method is suggested for separation of the instantaneous frequencies and the instantaneous amplitudes of the decomposed AM - FM components, based on Hilbert transform and the demodulation property of the extended Fourier transform. The estimates of the instantaneous frequencies and the instantaneous amplitudes can be used for modification of the spectral distribution and smooth connection of two words in the speech synthesis systems based on a corpus.

A Dynamic assignment model for Dynamic Traffic Management in AM Peak (오전 첨두시의 동적 교통관리를 위한 동적 통행배정모형에 관한 연구)

  • A dynamic transportation management should be applied specially in AM peak because AM peak is more critical than PM peak in traffic volume and demand. AM peak trip can be characterized by commuting and schooling. which have the high level of usage on public transportation, and constraint on arrival time. So transportation management applied in AM peak could deal with a mode choice and an arrival time constrain. Researchers were involved in the dynamic transportation assignment models for management of congested traffic network. But, there were no models which considered a mode choice and an arrival time constrain should be included in management of AM peak. So there are limits to use exist models to control and analyze AM peak traffic. In this study, it is proposed the combined dynamic transportation model, considering a mode choice and the start time selection with arrival time constrains, based on Ran and Boyce's model. The proposed model is verified the compatibility by applying to the newly designed time space expanded network. The result shows that proposed model consistent with dynamic user optimal travel pattern. From this we certificate the applicability of the proposed model to control and analyze AM peak traffic.

Survey of drug resistance in Edwardsiella tarda isolated from diseased eels(Anguilla japonica) (뱀장어 병어로부터 분리한 Edwardsiella tarda의 약제내성)

  • Ninety-six isolates of Edwardsiella tarda recovered from outbreaks of Edwardsiellosis in cultured eels(Anguilla japonica) in Kunsan, were examined for drug susceptibility, distribution and transferabilities of R plasmid. All of the E. tarda isolates examined were sensitive to gentamicin(GM), streptomycin(SM), norfloxacin(NF), and amikacin(AK). But most isolates were resistant to sulfadimethoxine(SD, 86 strains), ampicillin(AM, 84 strains), penicillin G(PM, 80 strains), nalidixic acid (NA, 67 strains), oxytetracycline(OT, 44 strains), and oxolinic acid(OA, 37 strains). Twenty different combinations of drug resistance patterns were observed : the frequently encountered pattern was SD-AM-PM-NA-OA(16 strains), SD-AM-PM-NA(14 strains), SD-AM-PM-NA-OT-OA(12 strains), SD-AM-PM-OT(10 strains), and SD-AM-PM-NA-OT(8 strains). Transferable R plasmids were found out to be carried in 78 out of 94 resistant strains, indicating that these isolates carry conjugally transferable R plasmids associated with single or multiple drugs. The frequently observed transferarble R plasmids were AM(8 strains), AM-PM-NA(8 strains), Am-SD(6 strains), PM(6 strains), and SD(6 strains) These results suggest that high dose of various antibacterials might have already been introduced to eel culture system leading to the acquirement of multi-drug resistance to wide range of antibacterials.

  • Yeon-Am's observation of natural objects will be able to contribute to the cultivation of the observation skills. In this study, I analysed Yeon-Am's observation skills in the book "Yorha Ilgi". Yeon-Am's observation skills are as follows. First, Yeon-Am observed a specific and detailed. Second, Yeon-Am was examined by utilizing the five senses and presented its risks and limitations. Third, Yeon-Am observed with the equality between man and nature and looked at the same level of human and nature. Fourth, Yeon-Am expressed those observed by utilizing the shaping techniques vividly. Fifth, Yeon-Am found a variety of features by a variety of perspectives. The orgin of Yeon-Am's writing is based on specific and detailed observations of the natural objects, joining nature, shaping techniques and diversity in perspective.

  • Microscopic observations of arbuscular mycorrhizae (AM) were done with the colonizations of AM and the determinations of chitin in the plant roots of Sorghum bicolor, Cassia mimosoides, Capsicum annuum and Allium fistulosum. The intercellular and intracellular hyphae, arbuscules and vesicles were microscopically observed, according to increases of colonization of AM in the roots of four plants.   • A framework-level IdAM integration approach requires a stable network infrastructure. Information framework's operation may be significantly restricted when the network is disconnected from the remote IdAM service. Moreover, military networks, especially tactical networks, are volatile, and network disconnection is also high. In this paper, we proposed an Edge-Sovereign Identity (ESI) that expanded the concept of SSI for use in the military field, designed the structure and function of the proposed concept, and demonstrated its usefulness and validity through examples and prototypes.

  • It is very important that we try to keep our traditional historical assets in the original form for a long time. Seoggur-Am has a very long and old history of about 1200 years. Yet, for the past several years there are many factors ruinning this historical treasure. Recently, specialist are new scientifically examining Seoggur-Am and evaluating its current condition, If you only judge these historical assets from the exterior structural environmental approach your scientific conclusion will not be complete. No one has studied Seoggur-Am from the viewpoint of indoor environmental climate. Therefore, I have surveyed and prepared a report of investigation as well as countermeasure so to understand the impact of indoor environmental climate on Seoggur-Am. The purpose of this paper is to first survey the existing research data based on exterior structural environment. Secondly, closely evaluate the new data of Seoggur-Am from the viewpoint of indoor environmental climate.

Preformulation Study of Aspalatone, a New Antithrombotic Agent (새로운 항혈전 약물인 아스팔라톤의 전처방화 연구)

  • Physicochemical properties of aspalatone (acetylsalicylic acid maltol ester, AM), which has been recently found to have an antithrombotic effect, were studied in terms of solubility, dissolution, partition coefficient (Pc) and stability. The solubility of AM at 37$^{\circ}C$ was about 1.2 mg/ml and the P$_{c}$ value for n-octanol/water and chloroform/water was 11.4 and 382.6, respectively. Dissolution rates of AM at pH 1.2 and 6.8 were more than 80% within 30 min. The degradation of AM followed apparent first-order kinetics, and was dependent on temperature, pH and ionic strength. From the pH-rate profile, the optimal pH was found to be at around 4.0. Half-lives at pH 1.2 and 6.8 were 33.5 and 44.4 hr, respectively. The degradation rate of AM at pH 1.2 was somewhat faster than that of aspirin, but at pH 7.0, the degradation rate of AM was slower than that of aspirin.n.

  • The Service area in AM Broadcast Changes according to its transmitting frequency. It is also reduced by increase of the citizen noise. As a result, the efficency of transmitting Antenna should be higer in a low noise region as long as AM Broadcast does not build up its transmitting power. The efficiency of transmitting Antenna can also function as a low resistance connection to earth. Most Vertical Antenna used in the AM standard Broadcast band in the Korea have extensive radial ground systems beneath them which serve as image plane.

  • Objectives & Methods : This study aimed to investigate the diagnostic value of the cervical lymph node in the application of large intestine tonification of Sa-Am acupuncture. Results & Conclusions : Cervical lymph node appeared in 76% of the cases for which large intestine tonifying Sa-am acupuncture was used in ${\ulcorner}$Sa-Am-Do-In-Chim-Gu-Yo-Kyul(舍岩道人鍼灸要訣)${\urcorner}$. We suggest that cervical lymph node can be used as an important diagnostic point for the application of large intestine tonification of Sa-Am acupuncture.
