Structural and Dielectric Properties of Pb(zr0.2Ti0.8)O3 Thick Films Fabricated using a Screen Printing Technologies

  • [ $Pb(Zr_{0.2}Ti_{0.8})O_3$ ] powders, prepared by the sol-gel method, were mixed with an organic vehicle and the PZT thick films were fabricated by the screen-printing techniques on Pt/alumina substrates. The structural and dielectric properties were examined as a function of sintering temperature. The particle size distribution of the powder is bimodal with the mean particle size of about $1.2\;{\mu}m$. The average grain size of the PZT thick films sintered above $1000^{\circ}C$ was about $3.1\;{\mu}m$ and the thickness of the specimens was approximately $41\;{\mu}m$. The relative dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the thick films sintered at $1050^{\circ}C$ were 337 and $1.24\%$, respectively.

  • In this paper, PZT(20/80) thick films were fabricated by the screen-printing method. And the PZT(80/20) coating solution was synthesized by the sol-gel method. PZT(20/80) thick films were screen-printed on the alumina substrates. PZT(80/20) thin film was spin-coated on the PZT(20/80) thick films to obtain densification. And the structural and electrical properties of PZT thick films were investigated with variation of sintering temperature. The PZT specimen sintered at $650^{\circ}C$ showed good relative dielectric constant of 219 and dielectric loss of 2.45%. Also the remanent polarization and the coercive field were $16.48{\mu}C/cm^2$ and 35.48kV/cm, respectively.

  • 기체 분리용 무기분리막은 고분자막과 비교하여 열 및 구조적 안정성이 우수하므로, 석탄가스화반응 혼합기체중의 기체분리 등 고온 또는 고압공정에 적합한 분리방법으로서 주목되고 있다. 기체의 분리를 위한 무기재료막은 크게 다공성막과 비다공성막으로 나눌 수 있으며, 이 중 비기공 성막의 경우 높은 선택도를 가지나 투과도가 낮아 경제성이 떨어지는 것으로 평가되고 있다. 한편, 기존의 다공성막의 경우 투과도는 높으나 기체의 분리가 혼합기체중 각 기체의 분자량의 차이에 의존하는 Knudsen 확산에 제한되는 낮은 선택도를 갖는 단점이 있다. 따라서 다공성막의 기공을 특정기체의 선택도가 우수한 촉매물질등으로 개선하여 비기공성막에 비해 우수한 투과도를 갖고, 기공성막에 비해 향상된 선택도를 보이는 복합막의 연구가 활발히 추진되고 이\ulcorner. 본 연구는 솔젤법에 의해 제조된 팔라듐 함침 알루미나 지지막의 기공을 침투$\cdot$증착(Soaking and Vapor-deposition)법에 의해 개선하여 기체의 투과도를 높게 유지하면서 수소의 선택성을 향상시키는 것을 목적으로 하였다.

  • Liquid-phase catalytic degradation of waste high-density polyethylene (HDPE) over ZSM-5 (powder type (PW)) and ZSM-5+binder (granule type (GR)) has been investigated with a stirred semi-batch operation at 400°C. Two ZSM-5 catalysts with a different crystal size were synthesized and also each ZSM-5 (25%) Catalyst was mixed with a same binder (kaolin: silica sol: alumina = 55%:10%:10%). The performance of prepared catalysts that has different physicochemical properties was discussed with the cumulative amount distribution, molecular weight distribution and also paraffin, olefin, naphthene and aromatic (PONA) distribution in liquid product. These liquid product quality and distributions were changed depending on the physicochemical properties of the catalyst. Moreover, the characteristic of ZSM-5 in the catalyst was strongly influenced on the activity and PONA distribution in liquid product.

  • (Ba,Sr,Ca)$TiO_3$ powders, which were prepared by sol-gel method using a solution of Ba-acetate, Sr-acetate and Ca-acetate and Ti iso-propoxide, were mixed with organic vehicle and the BSCT thick films were fabricated by the screen-printing techniques on high purity alumina substrates. The structural and dielectric properties were investigated for various $Dy_2O_3$ doping contents. As a result of thermal analysis, the exothermic peak was observed at around $670^{\circ}C$ due to the formation of the polycrystalline perovskite phase. All BSCT thick films, sintered at $1420^{\circ}C$ for 2h, showed the typical XRD patterns of perovskite polycrystalline structure and no pyrochlore phase was observed. The average grain size of the specimens decreased with.

분무건조법에 의한 높은 내마모성 아연계 탈황제를 제조하기 위한 슬러리의 pH와 점도에의 영향 (Effect of Slurry on the pH and Viscosity for the Preparation of High Attrition Resistance Zinc-based Desulfurization Sorbents by Spray Drying Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 분무건조법으로 유동층용 아연계 탈황제를 제조하는 과정에서, 슬러리의 pH와 점도가 성형된 탈황제의 내마모성에 미치는 영향이 조사되었다. 아연계 탈황제의 내마모성을 개선하기 위하여 무기성 결합제로 알루미나 졸이 사용되었으며 슬러리에 들어있는 무기 결합제의 효과적인 분산을 위하여 슬러리의 pH가 조절되었다. 슬러리의 pH가 높아 알칼리성인 경우 알루미나 졸이 겔 상태로 변하여 슬러리의 점도가 높아지며 성형된 탈황제의 내마모성이 저하 되었다. 본 연구의 실험결과, 슬러리의 pH가 6으로 조절되어 성형된 탈황제가 가장 좋은 내마모성을 나타내었다. 또한 슬러리의 점도에 따라 성형된 탈황제의 밀도와 표면적 그리고 기공도가 달라졌으며, 이로부터 탈황제의 마모 특성이 결정됨을 알 수 있었다. 성형된 탈황제의 내마모성은 밀도가 높고, 표면적과 기공도가 낮을수록 높아지는 것으로 나타났으며, 최적 점도범위는 약 400-550 cP 정도였다.

P123-Templated Co3O4/Al2O3 Mesoporous Mixed Oxides for Epoxidation of Styrene

  • $Co_3O_4$, $Al_2O_3$ and $Co_3O_4$/$Al_2O_3$ mesoporous powders were prepared by a sol-gel method with starting matierals of aluminum isopropoxide and cobalt (II) nitrate. A P123 template is employed as an active organic additive for improving the specific surface area of the mixed oxide by forming surfactant micelles. A transition metal cobalt oxide supported on alumina with and without P123 was tested to find the most active and selective conditions as a heterogeneous catalyst in the reaction of styrene epoxidation. A bBlock copolymer-P123 template was added to the staring materials to control physical and chemical properties. The properties of $Co_3O_4$/$Al_2O_3$ powder with and without P123 were characterized using an X-ray diffractometer (XRD), a Field-Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM), a Bruner-Emmertt-Teller (BET) surface analyzer, and $^{27}Al$ MAS NMR spectroscopy. Powders with and without P123 were compared in catalytic tests. The catalytic activity and selectivity were monitored by GC/MS, $^1H$, and $^{13}C$-NMR spectroscopy. The performance for the reaction of epoxidation of styrene was observed to be in the following order: [$Co_3O_4$/$Al_2O_3$ with P123-1173 K > $Co_3O_4$/$Al_2O_3$ with P123-973 K > $Co_3O_4$-973 K>$Co_3O_4$/$Al_2O_3$-973 K > $Co_3O_4$/$Al_2O_3$ with P123-1473 K > $Al_2O_3$-973 K]. The existence of ${\gamma}$-alumina and the nature of the surface morphology are related to catalytic activity.

표면 개질에 의한 상압에서의 B4C/Al복합체 제조 방법 (Pressureless Infiltration Processing of B4C/Al Composite by Surface Modification)

  • B$_4$C 분말 표면을 알루미나 전구체로 표면 개질하여 알루미늄의 wetting 각을 낮추어 알루미늄의 함침을 용이하게 함으로써 상압에서 B$_4$C/Al 복합체를 제조하고자하였다. 알루미나 전구체에 의한 표면개질은 제타전위의 변화로 확인하였으며, 표면개질된 B$_4$C 분말의 preform에 Al 6061 디스크를 올려놓고 흐르는 알곤 분위기에서 103$0^{\circ}C$/20분 열처리로 Al이 완전히 함침된 B$_4$C/Al 복합체를 제조하였다. 반면 표면 개질되지 않은 B$_4$C 분말은 125$0^{\circ}C$/30분에도 함침이 일어나지 않았다. 이 복합체의 XRD와 SEM 분석은 B$_4$C. Al 외에도 반응상 $Al_3$BC 상이 생성되었으며, 물성을 크게 저하시키는 A1$_4$C$_3$는 생기지 않았음을 보여 주었다.

Influence of Yb2O3 Doping Amount on Screen-printed Barium Strontium Calcium Titanate Thick Films

  • [ $(Ba_{0.9-x}Sr_xCa_{0.10})TiO_3$ ] (x=0.33, 0.36) powders were prepared by sol-gel method. $(Ba,Sr,Ca)TiO_3$(BSCT) thick films, undoped and doped with $MnCO_3$ and $Yb_2O_3(0.1{\sim}0.7mol%)$, were fabricated by the screen printing method on the alumina substrate. The coating and drying procedure was repeated 6-times. The Pt bottom electrode was screen printing method on the alumina substrate. These BSCT thick films were annealed at $1420^{\circ}C$ for 2 hr in atmosphere. The upper electrodes were fabricated by screen printing the Ag paste and then firing at $590^{\circ}C$ for 10 min. And then the structured and dielectric properties as a function of the doping amount of $Yb_2O_3$ were studied. As a result of the TG-DTA, exothermic peak was observed at around $670^{\circ}C$ due to the formation of the polycrystalline perovskite phase. All BSCT thick films showed XRD patterns of typical cubic peroveskite structure. The average thickness of BSCT thick films was about $70^{\mu}m$. The curie temperature and the dielectric constant decreased with increasing $Yb_2O_3$ doped content and the relative dielectric constant of the specimen, doped with 0.5 mol% $Yb_2O_3$ at BSCT(54/36/10), showed a best value of 5018 at curie temperature.
