The demand of elderly care facilities due to aging population has been increased and the trend of developed countries implies the necessity of innovate approach for elderly care in Korea. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the flexible elderly housing alternative which has been introduced showing adaptability and small scale. This elderly housing alternative was designed to fulfill the condition of residential facilities for various aging phases from the independent elderly to dependent elderly. The workshop method was used for pre-evaluation of the flexible elderly housing alternative from the viewpoint of administrators, care givers and the elderly. The pre-evaluation is to estimate the facility before finalizing the design so that it facilitates more effective and suitable plan by reducing the trial and error beforehand, unlike the post-evaluation. Major responses of plans were positive and the needs for improvement about some concerns were revealed. Thus, relevant aspects of architectural drawings were amended according to workshop participants' needs and features that require to be reflected during further planning procedures were also improved. The result of this research will develop the flexible elderly housing alternative and contribute to foster environment for the elderly as well.

본 연구는 안양천 유역의 물순환 건전화를 위한 최종 대안을 제시하기 위해 비용효과분석을 수행하였다. 이중 편익산정은 진술선호기법 중 하나인 실험선택법(Choice Experiments, CE)과 대안의 평가지수(Alternative Evaluation Index, AEI)를 결합하여 수행하였다. 실험선택법은 지역별로 다양한 속성을 보이는 안양천 유역을 잠재적 위험도와 지리적 특성을 바탕으로 6개 지역으로 나누어 설문과 분석을 수행하였다. NB > 0 이상인 대안들은 공학적, 경제적으로 매우 우수한 대안이므로 실행을 적극 검토할 필요가 있다.

Pesticides have provided significant benefits including plant disease control and increased crop yields since people developed and utilized them. However, pesticide use is associated with many adverse effects, which necessitate precise toxicological tests and risk assessment. Most of these methods are based on animal studies, but considerations of animal welfare and ethics require the development of alternative methods for the evaluation of pesticide toxicity. Although the usage of laboratory animals is inevitable in scientific evaluation and alternative approaches have limitations in the whole coverage, continuous effort is necessary to minimize animal use and to develop reliable alternative tests for pesticide evaluation. This review discusses alternative approaches for pesticide toxicity tests and hazard evaluation that have been used in peer-reviewed reports and could be applied in future studies based on the critical animal research principles of reduction, replacement, and refinement.

본 연구에서는 고층건물 구조시스템의 다양한 대안으로부터 이들의 성능을 합리적으로 평가하는 방안을 제안하였다. 대안평가는 업무절차에 따라 예비평가, 본평가, 실시평가로 나누어 수행된다. 대안평가를 위한 평가범주는 구조성능, 경제성, 공기의 세 가지로 구성되고, 각 평가범주는 이들을 평가하기 위한 세부 평가항목으로 구성된다. 예비평가에서는 경험지식에 의한 정성적인 평가를 수행하며, 본평가와 실시평가에서는 수치적인 결과를 바탕으로 주로 정량적인 평가를 수행한다. 평가결과의 종합화는 평가항목들간의 관계가 선형적이라는 가정하에 가중평균법을 적용하였다. 제안된 대안평가 방안은 실무예제에 대한 시뮬레이션을 통하여 그 적용성을 검토하였다.

The goal of this article is to ascertain the factors that govern consumers' choosing to outbound travel product. The authors assess the consumers' travel product choosing processes with information search(internal knowledge, external information knowledge). alternative evaluation(perceived image, emotional experience, price acceptability, appeal, trust), and alternative choice(purchasing intention). Using data on Thailand travel product, the authors find considerable results and conclude by discussing prescriptive recommendations for the travel industry.

전통적인 형성 평가 방법을 이용하여 웹 기반 학습 프로그램을 평가하는 것은 시간과 비용적인 면에서 비효율적일 뿐만 아니라 웹에서 활용 가능한 자료 수집 방법들도 이용하고 있지 못하다는 문제가 제기되고 있다. 웹 기반 학습 프로그램에 적용 가능한 형성 평가 방법을 개발하기 위해서는 웹 기반 학습 프로그램 개발 모형에 기초하여 각 세부 단계별로 형성 평가 방법을 달리 적용해야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 분석, 설계, 개발, 평가의 각 단계마다 참여 대상, 자료 수집 도구, 수집 내용별로 형성평가 방법을 달리하여 분류하였다. 이 형성 평가 방법을 통해 프로그램의 효과성을 높이고 질을 개선할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

본 연구는 유역통합관리를 위한 대안들의 우선순위를 다양한 요소를 객관적으로 고려하여 산정하기 위해 대안평가지수(alternative evaluation index, AEI)를 개발하였고 이를 적용하였다. 이를 위해 물순환 건전화를 위한 다양한 대안들에 대한 연속유출 모의모형의 효과분석 결과, 다기준 의사결정 기법과 지속가능성 평가모형인 DPSIR(Drivers-Pressure-State-Impact-Response)을 이용하여 대안의 평가지수 및 순위를 산정하였다.

The report of the Korean Board of Audit and Inspection(BAI) on May 2007 indicates the problems of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis and evaluation in the Design-Build(Turn-Key) and alternative bidding system. The point which the report indicates is that the cost estimation system for LCC analysis has nothing in common each other and there's no consistency among the repair cycle and ratio per facilities parts. For solving these problems, BAI demands the establishment of the guidelines for LCC analysis and evaluation from the competent authority Korean Ministry of Construction And Transportation(MOCT). The objective of this study is to develop the improvement directions for LCC analysis and evaluation which are suitable to the public construction projects especially for the Design-Build and alternative bidding system in Korea. For this study, the LCC related raws and regulations, LCC analysis guidelines of public cooperations, actual condition of LCC analysis and evaluation which include, the elements of LCC, the estimation rules of the initial cost and the maintenance cost, the analysis standards of time value of money, etc. are investigated to provide the improvement directions for LCC analysis and evaluation.

This study focuses on design of supplementary evaluation indicator system geared towards comprehensive rearrangement projects in seats of township and town offices. In the first phase, it tries to reveal major problems and issues related to evaluation of the existing small town promotion projects. In terms of analytical tools, this study depends on the Delphi and AHP techniques. In specific, after three rounds of the Delphi methods, it extracts a series of alternative evaluation indicators derived from the AHP methods. It covers 5 major evaluation criteria, under which 18 independent items are hierarchically interconnected. It expects that these alternative evaluation indicators would contribute to selecting appropriate small town promotion projects. Next, applying these evaluation indicators, we examine couples of comprehensive rearrangement projects in seats of township and town offices. From the comparative contexts, we believe that the proposed alternative evaluation criteria would improve the general satisfaction level of key stakeholders in deciding the priority order of the small town promotion projects.

For any particular development project or environmental regulations, decision-making criteria is required and conflicts among criteria should be resolved. It is necessary to investigate criteria that government agencies employ in making decisions that influence the environment. The evaluation of alternative development proposals and regulatory measures involves much more than environmental issues. Economic, technical, and social factors should be considered along with environmental impacts when making evaluations. Evaluation should be based on values of all individuals who may be affected by public or private decisions. There are many evaluation methods for determining how individuals and groups value alternative public actions. Numerous weighting-scaling methodologies can be used in such evaluations. These methodologies represent adaptations of multiple-criteria or multiple-attribute decision-making techniques. Environmental risk assessment which accounts for uncertainties in choosing among alternative policies and projects is increasingly used.
