  • By adding Gyro sensor to support the steering wheel angle sensor, an improved functional DR solution is proposed in this paper The proposed angle data algorism is developed based on the steering wheel with Gyro sensor for DR. The Gyro sensor support the error of steering wheel sensor to improve the angle data for the DR algorism.

  • DTNs (Delay Tolerant Networks) refer to the networks that can support data transmission in the extreme networking situations such as continuous delay and no connectivity between ends. DTMNs (Delay Tolerant Networks) are a specific range of DTNs, and its chief considerations in the process of message delivery in the routing protocol are the transmission delay, improvement of reliability, and reduction of network loading. This article proposes a new LCN (Largest Common Neighbor) routing algorism to improve Spray and Wait routing protocol that prevents the generation of unnecessary packets in a network by letting mobile nodes limit the number of copies of their messages to all nodes to L. Since higher L is distributed to nodes with directivity to the destination node and the maximum number of common neighbor nodes among the mobile nodes based on the directivity information of each node and the maximum number of common neighbor nodes, more efficient node transmission can be realized. In order to verify this proposed algorism, DTN simulator was designed by using ONE simulator. According to the result of this simulation, the suggested algorism can reduce average delay and unnecessary message generation.

로봇의 시각시스템을 위한 물체의 거리 및 크기측정 알고리즘 개발 (Development of a Robot's Visual System for Measuring Distance and Width of Object Algorism)

  • This paper looks at the development of the visual system of robots, and the development of image processing algorism to measure the size of an object and the distance from robot to an object for the visual system. Robots usually get the visual systems with a camera for measuring the size of an object and the distance to an object. The visual systems are accurately impossible the size and distance in case of that the locations of the systems is changed and the objects are not on the ground. Thus, in this paper, we developed robot's visual system to measure the size of an object and the distance to an object using two cameras and two-degree robot mechanism. And, we developed the image processing algorism to measure the size of an object and the distance from robot to an object for the visual system, and finally, carried out the characteristics test of the developed visual system. As a result, it is thought that the developed system could accurately measure the size of an object and the distance to an object.

쾌적수면을 위한 에어컨 알고리즘에 관한 실증연구 (Empirical Study of Air Conditioner Control Algorism for Comfort Sleeping)

  • The study was to evaluate the air-conditioning of sleep algorithm. The algorithm was developed through the analysis of brain waves and MST, the experiments using air conditioner was performed in a apartment bedroom. Five female subjects were participated for the experiment. Eight hours of data collection a day was performed under different algorithm, case A, case B and case C. Physiological signals, EEG, ECG, EOG, and EMG, were obtained using polygraph and converted into digital signal. Then, subjects were asked to answer the questionnaire about their thermal sensation after experiment in bedroom. Sleep stages were classified, then TST, Sleep latency and Sleep efficiency were calculated for the three different air conditioner algorithm. As results, TST, Sleep efficiency, questionnaire showed the higher values for Case B algorism than that for other algorism. On the other hand, SWS latency was lower than for other conditions. Therefore, it was concluded that Case B of the algorithm was the best for comfortable and deep sleep.

3축 가속도 센서를 이용한 위치 검출 알고리즘 (Position Detection Algorithms Using 3-Axial Accelerometer Sensor)

  • In this paper, we consist of three dimensional acceleration sensor as a small-sized sensor module to acquire base technologies that need to estimate exhibition audience' moving distance. and that we developed algorism and device that can calculate acceleration in gravity direction with attaching it to people's body part without regard to three dimensional direction. By making use of the sensor module, we have to process the data that let it quantitatively process possible to measure people's walk and movement by computer system. We normalized sensor output data in the process of change from sensor module to acquisition of data, rectangular coordinates and single scalar acceleration value in gravity direction. Printed out sensor data attaching sensor module to people's body part is used for motion pattern detection after normalization, Motion sensor devised mode change algorism because it print data of other pattern according to attached position of body. For algorism design, we collected data occurring during walking about subject and we also defined occurring problem domain after analyzing the data. We settle defined problem domain and that we simulated the walking number measuring instrument with highly efficient in restricted environment.

  • 캐스케이드 실험장치에 한 개의 익형을 설치하여 캐스케이드 실험이 가능한 장치벽면의 설계를 수행하였다. 장치의 폭은 피치의 160% 넓이이다. 이 경우에 실험장치 내에 다수개의 블레이드를 설치하는 경우에 비하여 소형의 장치라도 실험의 정확성이 향상되는 장점이 있지만, 피치방향으로 주기조건을 맞추기가 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 주기조건이 얻어지도록 벽면의 형상설계를 내부유동장의 결과를 바탕으로 기울기기반과 유전자알고리즘의 방식을 사용하여 벽면을 설계하였다. 이를 위하여 목적함수는 캐스케이드 익형의 표면에서 얻어진 마하수를 적용하였으며, 실험장치의 형상 조정이 가능한 14개의 설계변수를 적용하였다. 유전자알고리즘에 의한 최적화 설계방식이 향상된 결과를 보여주었다.

Implementation of a MAC protocol in ATM-PON

  • MAC (Medium Access Control) protocol is necessary for a OLT (Optical Line Termination) to allocate bandwidth to ONUs (Optical Network Units) dynamically in ATM PON (Passive Optical Network) operated in a kind of optical subscriber network having tree topology. The OLT collect information about ONUs and provide all permission with each ONU effectively by means of MAC protocol. Major functions of MAC protocol are composed of the algorism for distributing permission demanded by a ONU dynamically and allocation all permission used in APON properly. Sometimes MAC get to be a element of limiting the whole operation speed and occupy a most frequent operation part of the TC (Transmission Convergence) function module so it have to be designed to guarantee the best quality for each traffic. This paper introduce the way of implementation of a algorism which satisfy all of the upper renditions. This MAC algorism allocate bandwidth according to a number of working ONU and the information of the queue length dynamically and distribute permission for same interval to minimize delay variation of each ONU cell. MAC scheduler for the dynamic bandwidth allocation which is introduced in this paper has look-up table structure that makes programming possible. This structure is very suitable for implementation and operated in high speed because it require very simple and small chip size.

디지털 카메라의 렌즈 왜곡 보정에 사용된 보간 패턴 추출을 통한 카메라 식별 방법 (Digital Camera Identification Based on Interpolation Pattern Used Lens Distortion Correction)

  • 촬영된 카메라의 기초 정보를 담고 있는 EXIF 파일을 편집 프로그램들을 통해 삭제 또는 변형하게 되어 우리 주변에서 출처를 알 수 없는 이미지들이 상당수 존재하게 되었다. 이와 같은 문제점은 디지털 이미지의 출처를 왜곡하여 공공기관에서 사건의 분석 및 감정에 혼선을 줄 수 있다. 특히 증거의 출처를 명시하는 법정 기관에 출처가 삭제, 변형된 EXIF 파일을 가진 디지털 사진은 객관적 증거의 역할을 할 수 없다. 본 논문은 이와 같은 문제를 해결하기 위한 연구로써 촬영에 사용된 카메라의 신원을 추적하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문은 디지털카메라 이미지 프로세싱에서 사용하는 렌즈 왜곡 보정 알고리즘을 주목하였다. 렌즈 왜곡 보정은 맵핑 알고리즘을 이용하며 이 때 위신호 인공물(Aliasing artifact)와 복원 인공물(Reconstruction artifact)의 발생을 제거하기 위한 보간 알고리즘을 사용한다. 여기서 보간은 맵핑의 패턴과 유사한 형태로 나타나며 이 보간의 흔적을 찾는 것이 연구의 핵심이다. 본 논문에서는 맵핑에 사용된 보간 패턴을 검출하기 위해 미니멈 필터(Minimum Filter)를 이용한 검출 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 보간이 발생한 영역과 그렇지 않은 영역을 분류하여 두 영역에 동일한 미니멈 필터를 적용한다. 이를 DFT를 통해 각 영역간의 주파수 특성이 어떻게 나타나는지 확인하였다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 두 영역간의 차분값을 활용하여 최종 검출 맵으로 구현하였다.

  • When operating Express and Standard trains, which run with two different scheduled time, in a single line with limited number of side tracks for overtaking standard trains, it is required to have various modeling methodologies and simulations in order to calculate an optimum headway to maximize the capacity of the line with the best scheduled time. Especially it is inevitable that following trains have to slow down or stop in the middle of their operations due to the preceding trains, in case it is inappropriate controlled about either in which station an overtaking should be taken or how long it should be. This study is to analyze TPS data which have been produced with a simulation program which the team has invented to optimize Express and Standard mixed traffic plan and to introduce an algorism which shows detected conflict data, calculates appropriate dwell time after getting overtaken and helps to decide stations for overtaking.

  • This thesis paper is on the management of Energy Storage System for the catenary source stabilization of KTX's high-speed train section. It is the algorism that is to utilize on the voltage drop at the end and peak power suppression of the substation by supplying from the end, compensating consuming energy when the KTX retrogresses, by installing Energy Storage System at the end of the substation where is the section post. The algorism which this thesis is to utilize is verified through the catenary voltage modeling and simulation of the power conversion system, and the system validity of the Korail's Yongjeong section post which is currently in management is in the application review phase.
