Skid Launching System을 위한 Floating Dock Controller의 개발 (A Development of Floating Dock Controller for Skid Launching System)

  • 1년 전까지만 해도 조선시황은 한없는 호항을 누릴 것으로 보였다. 그러나 2008년 후반에 찾아든 글로벌 경제의 불황은 바로 해운시장을 뒤흔들었고 그 여파는 바로 조선 사장에도 한없는 추락을 가져오고 있다. 저자들은 이러한 사태를 예견하여 이미 드라이 도크의 건조에 신중을 기할 것을 주장한 바 있다. 여기에 비하여 Floating Dock는 건조 비용도 덜 들고, 건조 기간도 짧고, 이동성마저 갖추고 있기 때문에 훨씬 더 유연한 도크 건설 방법이 될 수 있다. 그러나 Floating Dock는 대형의 블록을 탑재할 때 갑작스런 중량의 이동으로 인한 중심의 큰 변화로 안정성이 크게 위협 받게 된다. 따라서 안전하게 블록을 탑재하기 위하여서는 아주 고도의 정밀한 발라스트 작업이 수행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 육상에서 만들어진 거대 블록을 플로팅도크에 밀어 넣는 Skid Launching System을 위한 플로팅도크 제어 시스템을 완성하여 안정적인 SLS를 구현하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 저자들은 우선 가상의 진수 절차를 만들어 모의 조정하는 시뮬레이터를 개발(Kim et al. 2008)한 바 있다. 본 논문에서는 이시뮬레이션을 바탕으로 실시간 모니터링하면서 실시간 제어하는 시스템을 만들고 실제 진수에 적용하고자 한다.

마찰교반용접한 5456-H116 알루미늄 합금 용접부 표면의 기계적 및 전기화학적 특성 (Mechanical and Electrochemical Characteristics of Welding Parts Surface for Friction Stir Welded 5456-H116 Al Alloy)

  • Small FRP(fiber-reinforced polymer) fishing ships have numerous problems with the point of the environmental and recycling perspectives. In light of these aspects, aluminum can be used as a material for ship building. It is environmental friendly, easy to recycle, and provides a high added value to fishing boats. In this paper, we report on mechanical and electrochemical characteristics of welding parts for friction stir welded 5456-H116 Al alloy. In friction stir welded at various traveling speeds under the rotation speed of 500 RPM, the best characteristics presented in traveling speed of 15mm/min. The anodic polarizations of base metal and welding metal were observed tendency which current density from the open circuit potential suddenly increase. The cathodic polarization presented concentrated polarization caused by the dissolved oxygen reduction reaction and activation polarization caused by hydrogen generation. From result of Tafel analysis, the corrosion potential of 5456 alloy(Base metal) was lower than that of friction stir welded part, as were its corrosion current densities.

  • Friction stir welding(FSW) was developed as a new solid state welding technique by The Welding Institute (TWI). On the basis of FSW, a new processing technique, friction stir processing (FSP), has recently been developed. FSP has been applied to cast aluminum alloy to modify the microstructure to enhance mechanical characteristic. FSP is a new solid state processing technique for microstructural modification in metallic materials. FSP has been applied to aluminum alloy to modify the microstructure to enhance mechanical characteristic. In this study, we investigated optimum condition friction stir processing with the evaluation of mechanical characteristic for 5456-H116 Al alloy. The mechanical characteristics of base metal similar with in 15 mm/min, 250 RPM with full screw probe. This condition is concluded that optimum friction stir processing condition. The result of this investigation will be able to application for repair of welding part for aluminum ship.

  • Since its invention at TWI in 1991, Friction Stir Welding (FSW) has become a major joining process in the aerospace, railway and ship building industries especially in the fabrication of aluminium alloys. In an attempt to optimize the friction stir welding process of Al alloys for extrusion Aluminium carbody of HEMU-400X (Extrusion Aluminum 6xxx series), effects of joining parameters such as tool rotating speed, plunging depth and dwelling time on the weld joints properties were evaluated. Experimental tests were carried out for butt joined Al plates. A wide range of joining conditions could be applied to join Al alloys for Extrusion Aluminum 6xxx series without defects in the weld zone except for certain welding conditions with an insufficient heat input. The microstructures of welds have dynamic-recrystallized grain similar to stir zone in FSW weld. For sound joints without defects, at the rotation speed of 700 rpm with different welding speeds, the tensile strengths of the Stir Zone(SZ) were almost the same, 80% of those of the base metal. Al 6061-T6 합금의 해수 내 캐비테이션 진폭에 따른 캐비테이션-침식 조건하에서 전기화학적 특성 (Electrochemical Characteristics with Cavitation Amplitude Under Cavitation Erosion of 6061-T6 in Seawater)

  • Generally, Al alloys of 5000 and 6000 series show excellent weldability, workability, and specific strength, and are widely used in ship building. A combined experiment via cavitation erosion and corrosion damage involving 6061-T6 Al alloy was performed using potentiodynamic polarization under cavitation erosion (hybrid experiments) with amplitude (cavitation strength). The corrosion current density was approximately 52-fold higher at 30 μm than under static conditions, suggesting that the amplitude greatly affected the damage. The degree of damage increased with increasing cavitation amplitude. After the hybrid experiment, the corrosion rate was compared according to the weight loss and damage depth, and the relationship between the two values was expressed as alpha value. The alpha (α) values at amplitudes of 5 μm, 10 μm and 30 μm were 5.11, 12.81 and 8.74, respectively, suggesting that the α value at 10 μm was greater than at 5 μm, and indicating local corrosion damage. However, the α value at 30 μm was smaller than that of 10 μm, which is attributed to higher damage via uniform corrosion than damage induced by local corrosion.

선박안정수의 해양외래침입생물체 처리 기술 (Technical Treatment on Foreign Invasive Marine Species of Living-things in ship′s Ballast-water)

  • 국제환경기구(GEF)의 해양환경 위해 지정 대상의 하나인 선박안정수 처리기술로써, 선박 안정수에 포함되어 타 지역으로부터 이동되는 유해성외래침입생물 처리방안을 제안하였다 alpha-AL$_2$O$_3$ 유전장벽층 전극에 의한 강 전리방전 기술을 적용하여 주위 산소와 물분자로부터 고농도 수산자유기(OH : hydroxyl radical) 및 활성입자( OH, $O_2$+, O (1D), HO$_2$)를 전리, 발생시켜서 이들을 해수에 신속히 용해 확산시켜 비교적 낮은 ∼20mg/L 정도의 수산기농도 하에서 유해성외래침입생물을 소멸 처리하는 환경 친화적 녹색 청정 처리기술이다. 제안된 기술은 대상물의 처리 후 부수적으로 발생할 수 있는 처리잔류물이 전혀 발생하지 않으며, 인공적 화학성분의 약제를 사용하지 않는 저렴한 처리방법으로 대ㆍ소형 원양선박의 안정수에 포함되어 있는 유해성외래침입생물의 타 지역 해양확산을 방지하고 안전하게 처리할 수 있는 자연치유적 신기술이다.

Investigation of Live Load Deflection Limit for Steel Cable Stayed and Suspension Bridges

  • Long span bridges such as steel cable stayed and suspension bridges are usually more flexible than short to medium span bridges and expected to have large deformations. Deflections due to live load for long span bridges are important since it controls the overall heights of the bridge for securing the clearance under the bridge and serviceability for securing the comfort of passengers or pedestrians. In case of sea-crossing bridges, the clearance of bridges is determined considering the height of the ship master from the surface of the water, the trim of the ship, the psychological free space, the tide height, and live load deflection. In the design of bridges, live load deflection is limited to a certain value to minimize the vibrations. However, there are not much studies that consider the live load deflection and its effects for long span bridges. The purpose of this study is to investigate the suitability of live load deflection limit and its actual effects on serviceability of bridges for steel cable-stayed and suspension bridges. Analytical study is performed to calculate the natural frequencies and deflections by design live load. Results are compared with various design limits and related studies by Barker et al. (2011) and Saadeghvaziri et al. (2012). Two long span bridges are selected for the case study, Yi Sun-Sin grand bridge (suspension bridge, main span length = 1545 m) and Young-Hung grand bridge (cable stayed bridge, main span length = 240 m). Long-term measured deflection data by GNSS system are collected from Yi Sun-Sin grand bridge and compared with the theoretical values. Probability of exceedance against various deflection limits are calculated from probability distribution of 10-min maximum deflection. The results of the study on the limitation of live load deflection are expected to be useful reference for the design, the proper planning and deflection review of the long span bridges around the world.

굿 속의 탈놀이:<영산 할아?.할?굿>과 <탈굿> (The Mask-Dance Performances in the Shaman Rituals: and )

  • The Korean Mask-Dance Theatre has been developed closely related to Korean Shaman rituals. As many scholars noticed, the performers of the Mask-Dance Theatre were closely related to the Shaman family. In addition, there are mask-dance performances in actual shaman rituals. and are the representative performances among them. This essay intends to compare these two mask-dance performances in the shaman rituals to the similar performance of Old Grandpa and Grandma episode in the regional Mask-Dance Theatre. This study would bring us further in proving the close relation between the shaman ritual and the Mask-Dance Theatre. is one episode, Keori, in the shaman ritual of 'Baeyeonsin-kut' and 'Taedong-kut' in the mid-west seashore area. 'Taedong-kut' is the village shaman ritual for fertility and prosperity, while 'Baeyeonsin-kut' is a private shaman ritual for a large catch of the ship. is held in the later part of the whole shaman ritual since the later part tend to be more for entertainment than actual ritual. The story of is very similar that of in Pongsan Mask-Dance Theatre of the mid-west region. In addition, some of their dialogues are very similar. Only the later part is different. These similarities indicate that the Mask-Dance Theatre, which came into being in later period than the shaman ritual, has likely taken the story motif of the shaman ritual. is also a performance in the shaman ritual of east coasts. is more elaborate and recreational than of the west coasts. is also performed near the end of the ritual, and sometimes it is not performed at all. This indicates that has little ritual meaning left. When we compare it with the regional Mask-Dance Theatres such as Keosung Okwangdae, Tongyong Okwangdae, and Suyong Yaryu, the structure and the story lines are also very similar. It is a question why only the motif of the Grandpa and Grandma isfound both in the shaman ritual and the Mask-Dance Theatre. Many other motifs of other episodes in the Mask-Dance Theatre are not found in the shaman rituals. It seems that the Grandpa and Grandma motif is related to the ur-belief in fertility. In other words, this motif seems to be originated from the old belief in the fertility couple of Chonha Taechanggun and Jiha Yeochanggun. The shaman ritual for fertility first picked up this motif, and then the mask-dance theatre also adapted this motif for its recreational purpose. When we compare with , still has more aspects of fertility ritual, while lost its ritualistic meaning and its main purpose is to develop dramatic needs. and are invaluable existent performances to prove theatre's origin in ritual. The existence of mask-dance performances in the shaman rituals shows us the transit performance between theatre and ritual.

FRP 어선 2종 스테인리스강 축의 음극방식을 위한 실용설계 및 적용방안 연구 (A Study on the Practical Cathodic Protection Design for the FRP Fishing Boat and It’s Application Scheme)

  • Stainless steel has been stably used closed by passivity oxidation films(Cr₂O₃) is made by neutral atmospheric environment. However, passivity oxidaton films of the surface of stainless steel occasionally comes to be destroyed in seawater which is influenced by an environment having galogen ion like Cl‾, then, localization corrosion comes to occur Stainless steel 304 for shaft system material of the small-size FRP fishing boat on seawater environments made an experiment on simulation of sacrifical anode(Al, Zn). Through these experiment and study, following results have been obtained ; According to the field inspection and corrosion simulation, the corrosion on the 2nd class stainless steel shaft(STS304) in FRP fishing boat has been verified to occur by crevice corrosion and galvanic corrosion etc., According to the comparison and analysis of Stainless steel 304 was severely corroded, but, protected shaft specimen was not totallay corroded. This result is assumed to be made by the facts that anodic reaction, Fe → fe²++ 2e¯, has been restricted by the cathodic protection current of sacrificial anode material.

받음각을 갖는 평판의 유체 충격 시뮬레이션 (Numerical Simulation for Fluid Impact Loads by Flat Plate with Incident Angles)

  • The free-surface motions interacting with structures are investigated numerically using the Moving Particle Semi-implicit (MPS) method proposed by Koshizuka et al. (1996) for solving incompressible flow. In the method, Lagrangian moving particles are used instead of Eulerian approach using grid system. Therefore the terms of time derivatives in Navier-Stokes equation can be directly calculated without any numerical diffusion or instabilities due to the fully Lagrangian treatment of fluid particles and topological failure never occur. The MPS method is applied to the numerical study on the fluid impact loads for wet-drop tests in a LNG tank, and the results are compared with experimental ones.
