A Study to Enhance Competitive Advantage on Sea & Air Intermodal Transport System of Incheon (인천지역 해공복합운송시스템(Sea & Air)의 경쟁우위 확보방안)

  • Demand for Sea & Air intermodal transport has increased between north-China costal cities and Incheon since China's international airline network was not established completely. It will be big opportunity for Incheon to be logistics hub of Sea & Air intermodal transport in the north-east Asia, musing large sea-air cargoes to be transferred at the port of Incheon. Therefore, this study aims to propose competitive strategy on Sea & Air intermodal transport system of Incheon. In this analysis results, this paper shows that sea & air cargoes rather from china to U.S. than from China to Europe is very significant, considering geographically for Incheon and is also devote to not only providing high quality services but also activating RFS(Road Feeder Service) system, enlarging toward Shanghai, Weihai, and Yantai.

A Study on the Structural Impact of Job Stress on the Organizational Commitment and Customer Oriented Boundary Spanning Behavior of Hospital Employees (병원종사자의 직무스트레스가 조직몰입과 고객지향영역초월행동에 미치는 구조적 영향관계 분석)

  • This study examines the impact of job stress on customer-oriented boundary-spanning behavior with the mediating effects of organizational commitment. The survey data was collected from 147 employees working at a hospital and analyzed statistically by using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. The result of this study are as follows. Hypothesis 1, Job stress has a negative influence on organizational commitment. Hypothesis 2, Organizational commitment has a positive influence on customer-oriented boundary-spanning behavior. Hypothesis 3, Job stress has a negatively significant impact on customer-oriented boundary-spanning behavior. Accordingly, Organizational commitment has the role of partially mediating the effect between job stress and customer-oriented boundary-spanning behavior. This means that employees working at the point of meeting customers must reduce their job stress in order to improve the service quality of a hospital and creating solutions to reduce job stress of hospital employees can increase customer-oriented boundary-spanning behavior.

A Study on Intention to Use of Smart Tourism Contents through Extended Technology Acceptance Model: Case of Visitors to the National Museum of Korea (확장된 기술수용모델을 적용한 스마트관광 콘텐츠 사용의도에 관한 연구: 국립중앙박물관 방문객을 중심으로)

  • The primary purpose of the study is to investigate museum visitors' intention to use of smart tourism contents by applying the extended technology acceptance model. The study conducted an online survey of a convenience sampling of individuals who visited the National Museum of Korea, and it conducted confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modelling to test hypotheses of the study. The results showed that information quality of immersive digital gallery in the National Museum of Korea had a significant regression weight on both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use had a significant regression weight on perceived usefulness. Moreover, both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness had a significant regression weight on intention to use. The findings indicate that it is necessary to develop smart tourism contents with easily accessible and usable digital applications for promoting smart tourism in the museum.

  • Since the 1990s, the brand has established itself as an important factor to consumers. Consumers is affected by not only the product's physical properties and functions but also the sensitivity associated with the consumption or the product itself. Thus, Many studies has been very active because of the increased interest to the brand that is recognized as one of the intangible assets that create value for the company. The purpose of this paper is to provide the result of methodical analysis about the relationship among leading variables that affect on brand loyalty. Concretely, by methodically defining the relationship among perceived brand quality, customer satisfaction and brand trust, that is leading variable which affect on brand loyalty, focused on frequently used oil companies, this paper would suggest scientific and practical implications through draw a conclusion that this relationship contributes on brand loyalty. The results of empirical test are as follows. Customer perceived brand quality based on fuel quality, positively influence on customer satisfaction and brand trust. Then, customer satisfaction and brand trust positively influence on brand loyalty. According to the results of this study in the oil market, customer cannot distinguish fuel product quality itself among oil companies. Therefore it is strongly suggested that oil companies build and maintain brand loyalty on the basis of perceived brand quality, customer satisfaction and brand trust.

  • This study examined the impact on work life on health recognition and health behavior practices. The data was collected from 314 flight attendants from June to July 2014 in A airline. Questionnaires were used to measure the levels of health recognition, health behavior practice, Stress index, external image, and the impact on the work life. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, T-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, structural equating model using the SPSS AMOS 18.0 program. The research showed that health care influences the external image and work life, and the health behavior practice influences the stress management. A survey of the various influencing factors of work life will be needed in terms of human resource management to provide quality service to customers, and health care programs for flight attendants in workplace will be needed.

Developing Measurement of Problem-Based Learning Effectiveness: Applying Rasch Analysis (문제중심학습 (Problem-Based Learning) 효과 측정 도구 개발: Rasch 분석을 중심으로)

  • Problem-Based Learning is the most commonly used teaching method in the field of education as the demand for talented people with creative problem-solving abilities has increased in recent society. In this study, we developed a tool that can simply and regularly measure the learning effects of applying Problem-Based Learning on the classroom. Twenty-two preliminary items for the development were constructed by gathering expert opinions about items collected in existing research of Problem-Based Learning effects measurement. Using this preliminary items, data were collected from 124 students who took the subject-based study. And the validity and reliability were verified through Rash analysis. 11 of 124 students and 1 of 22 items were found to nonconforming and excluded. In addition, the optimal scale for the configuration of this tool was found to be a four-point scale, and the reliability of separation on the subject and the item was found to be excellent. We hope that the assessment tools of Problem-Based Learning effectiveness developed in this study will be actively used to measure learning effectiveness and manage the quality of education.
