  • Epidemiological studies of arsenic have shown that chronic exposure to arsenic can result in an increased incidence of cancer of the lung, skin, bladder and liver. It is impossible that the toxicity study of arsenic in the human, we become to measure in vitro cytotoxicity of inorganic and organic arsenic in the human normal liver cells including Chang Liver and WRL.   • 본 논문에서는 부하 변동에 따른 출력전압의 미세조정이 가능하며 정현적인 자속분포를 통한 출력전압 파형의 왜곡을 개선할 수 있는 하이브리드형 회전자를 갖는 새로운 동기발전기를 개발하였다. 개발된 동기발전기는 회전계자형으로서 영구자석과 계자권선을 함께 채용한 형태의 하이브리드형 회전자 구조를 가지고 있으며 전자기해석 툴을 이용한 시뮬레이션과 실험결과를 비교 분석하였다.

  • Three dimensional CFD investigations are carried out to understand the complex flow field in a gas turbine combustor with multi-element fuel injectors. The gas turbine considered here is the GE7FA model which has aye fuel injectors in each combustor can and utilizes lean-premixed combustion to meet nitric oxide emission requirements. Detailed three-dimensional flow characteristics and fuel-air mixture formation process inside the fuel nozzle and gas turbine combustor including five swirl nozzle tips are analyzed using commercial FLUENT code.

  • 기존의 전동차 주행 상태 및 고장 상태에 대한 정보는 전동차가 기지 입고시 검수요원이 직접 IC 카드를 가지고 차량으로 가서 다운받아 분석을 하는 방식이다. 이러한 방식은 많은 시간 소요로 인해 검수 인력이 비효율적으로 운영될 수 있으며 검수원의 체계적인 정보 분석이 어렵게 된다. 또한 한정된 메모리 용량으로 인한 정보유실이 발생할 수 있다. 전동차가 기지 입고시 수작업으로 했던 전동차 운행 데이터를 자동으로 무선을 통해 검수사무실로 보낼 수 있도록 함으로써 검수요원의 운행 정보 분석이 빠른 시간에 이루어지도록 하고자 하며, 대용량의 메모리로 이용하여 필요한 정보를 장기간 보관하여 기존 시스템의 단점을 보완하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 무선 전송을 위한 열차의 주행상태 및 고장상태의 정보를 저장하는 VME System과 연결된 개발 보드와 무선 전송된 데이터를 수신하는 서버장치 그리고 데이터 전송 위한 프로그램으로 구성되어 있는 열차 종합정보 전달 시스템을 구현하고자 한다.

Numerical Modeling of Turbulent Swirling Premixed Lifted Flames (선회유동을 가지는 난류 예혼합 부상화염장의 해석)

  • This study has numerically modelled the combustion processes of the turbulent swirling premixed lifted flames in the low-swirl burner (LSB). In these turbulent swirling premixed flames, the four tangentially-injected air jets induce the turbulent swirling flow which plays the crucial role to stabilize the turbulent lifted flame. In the present approach, the turbulence-chemistry interaction is represented by the level-set based flamelet model. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional computations are made for the various swirl numbers and nozzle length. In terms of the centerline velocity profiles and flame liftoff heights, numerical results are compared with experimental data The three-dimensional approach yields the much better conformity with agreements with measurements without any analytic assumptions on the inlet swirl profiles, compared to the two-dimensional approach. Numerical clearly results indicate that the present level-set based flamelet approach has realistically simulated the structure and stabilization mechanism of the turbulent swirling stoichiometric and lean-premixed lifted flames in the low-swirl burner.

  • Virus disease occurred up to 62% in average in the greenhouse production of table tomato Seokwang in Suwon, Korea. From symptomatic transition of the labeled tomatoes, two different symptoms, mosaic and bud necrosis, were developed independently. Cucumber mosaic virus necrosis strain (CMV-N) was isolated from table tomato showing bud necrosis symptoms. The isolate caused the bud necrosis on four tomato cultivars and locally infected Chenopodium spp. and Vicia faba by mechanical inculation. The 5th RNA segment, satellite RNA, was identified from CMV-N-infected plants by dsRNA analysis. Crystals of virus particles were observed in cytosols and vacuoles. The virus particles of CMV-N presented abundantly in xylem vessel.

  • 경합 상황, 교착 상태 등과 같은 동시 프로그램의 오류는 기존의 순차 프로그램에 적용되는 테스팅 방법으로는 탐지 및 재현이 힘들다. 하이젠버그라 불리는 이러한 오류는 프로그램의 안정성 및 신뢰성을 떨어뜨리는 원인이 될 수 있으므로 반드시 탐지하고 재현해야 한다. 본 논문은 SAT-solver와 경합 상태 탐지를 위한 Happens-before 알고리즘을 사용하여 ANSI-C 프로그램 내 존재하는 이러한 오류를 탐지하고 재현할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다.

  • Conventional implant protocols required a load-free healing period of three to six months between placement and functional loading of the implants. Many efforts have been made to minimize the duration of treatment time. Several literatures have documented immediate function with provisional or definitive prosthesis within a week of the placement in response to these demands. In addition, immediate implant placement has advantages such as shortened treatment time and preservation of soft tissue architectures. This article presents immediate implant placement into fresh extraction sockets followed by functional immediate loading with provisional prosthesis on canine and premolars for a patient having canine protected occlusion.

  • New light-emitting polyimides were synthesized from the conventional polycondensation of 5,5'-bis(4-aminophenyl)-2,2'bifuryl (PFDA) with fluorinated and non-fluorinated aromatic dianhydrides, providing a good quality of thin films: 6F-PFDA PI and ODPA-PFDA PI. Their UV-visible absorbance and photoluminescent characteristics were investigated. The polymers emit blue and blue-greenish light in a quantum yield of 7.3-14.9%, depending on the polymer backbone.
