Purpose: This study aims to explore the critical factors in the quality control activities of agricultural products in e-commerce companies and analyze how these factors affect customers' perceived value and repurchase intention. Finally, it further reveals the mediating role of perceived value between the factors of quality control activities of agricultural products and customer repurchase intention. Research design, data and methodology: This study identified six independent factors within agricultural product quality control activities: freshness, assurance, diversity, grading, packaging, and timeliness. Subsequently, the impact of these factors on customer repurchase intention was analyzed. Additionally, perceived value was considered as an intermediary variable between the independent and dependent variables. Data was gathered from 269 Chinese consumers who had experience purchasing on agricultural product e-commerce websites. Results: The study results indicate that the relevant factors within agricultural product quality control activities strongly influence customer repurchase intention, with perceived value mediating this relationship. Conclusions: The significance of this study lies in its exploration of the relevant factors within agricultural product e-commerce's product quality control activities. It identifies their impact on customer repurchase intention and confirms the mediating role of perceived value. The results of this research offer valuable insights and practical guidance for academics in related research fields and practitioners in the agricultural product e-commerce industry.
The purpose of this study is to identify the determinants of local farmers' participation and acceptance level in traditional agricultural technology conservation activities, using on the traditional agricultural water utilization system in Uiseong designated as Korea's important agricultural heritage system No. 10. The Heckman sample selection model was used to solve the selection bias. The results show that as the interest in the conservation of the agricultural ecological and environment is high, as the traditional agricultural system in Uiseong is used, as the cultivation area of paddy field increased, and as the age 50s or older, the willingness to participate in conservation activities increased. The results also indicate that as the experience of participating in the conservation of the agricultural ecological and environment and the hours of education are increased, the knowledge of the traditional agricultural system in Uiseong is low, and as the cultivation area of paddy field decreased, the acceptance time for conservation activities increased. The results of this study may contribute to government's policy for traditional agricultural technology conservation.

In this study, 139 Korean landrace sorghum germplasms collected in 10 different Korean regions were analyzed for tannin, total phenolic contents(TPC), and antioxidant activities using three assays including ABTS, DPPH, and FRAP. The Korean landrace sorghums showed significant variations of metabolite contents and antioxidant activities by collection regions. Gyeonggi sorghum had the highest tannin and TPC contents with 273.73%, 7.395mgGAE/g, respectively. Therefore, three assays of antioxidant activities of Gyeonggi sorghum, which is highly related to tannin and TPC, were also significantly higher than others. However, Gyeongnam sorghums showed the lowest tannin and TPC with 148.34% and 3.482mgGAE/g, thus, three antioxidnat activities showed the lowest levels. Three accessions(IT322580, IT340261 and IT329053) had the highest tannin levels over 400%, but, two accessions (IT322613, IT270366) showed less than 1% of tannin content. Four accessions (IT270349, IT286448, IT331878, and IT251882) showed the highest level of TPC over 9mgGAE/g. In this study, antioxidant activities with three assays were strongly related to tannins and TPC, and TPC showed higher significance than tannin with all three antioxidant activities. The germplasms with the highest overall antioxidant activity were IT270349, IT340261, and IT286448, which had the highest levels of tannin and TPC. The principal component analysis presented that 2 sub-populations were divided. Gyeonggi and Gangwon Yeongseo sorghums, which had high metabolite contents and antioxidant activity levels, were mainly included in group 1. Gyeongnam and Jeonnam sorghums, which had low metabolite and antioxidant activity levels, were mainly included in group 2. This results could contribute to discover breeding metarials for the development of functional sorghum varieties.

In a previous work, we performed de novo RNA sequencing of Allomyrina dichotoma using next generation sequencing and identified several antimicrobial peptide candidates based on transcriptome analysis. Among them, a cationic antimicrobial peptide, allomyrinasin, was selected bioinformatically based on its physicochemical properties. Here, we assessed the antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activities of allomyrinasin against microorganisms and mouse macrophage Raw264.7 cells. Allomyrinasin showed antimicrobial activities against various microbes and decreased the nitric oxide production of the lipopolysaccharide-induced Raw264.7 cells. Furthermore, quantitative RT-PCR and ELISA revealed that allomyrinasin reduced cytokine expression levels in the Raw264.7 cells. We also identified inducible nitric oxide synthase, cyclooxygenase-2 expression, and $PGE_2$ production through western blot analysis and ELISA. We confirmed that allomyrinasin bound to bacterial cell membranes via a specific interaction with lipopolysaccharides. Taken together, these data indicate that allomyrinasin has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activities as exemplified in lipopolysaccharide-induced Raw264.7 cells. We have provided a potentially useful antimicrobial peptide candidate that has both antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activities.

Environment friendly agricultural material products (EFAMs) in current market were evaluated for their insecticidal or acaricidal activities. EFAMs were evaluated against Tetranychus urticae, Plutella xylostella, Myzus persicae and Nilaparvata lugens in spray method. Several EFAMs indicated high control value in spray method. Hatchability of T. urticae was relatively high after EFAM treatment. some materials show high insecticidal activities against P. xylostella larvae but not against eggs. Few mete rials showed more than 80% insecticidal activities against M. persicae and N. lugen. The control value of more than half the materials for pest control was lower than 60%. EFAMs containing S. flavescens, neem oil and Rape showed higher control value.

This study was carried out to investigate the antioxidative enzymes and isozymes between chilling-tolerant and -susceptible varieties at the booting stage under cold water stress $(13^{\circ}C)$ in japonica rice. Total SOD, CAT, POX, and GR activities on the basis of protein were found to be important factors to defend cold water stress. Especially, SOD and CAT activities showed distinctive differences between chilling-tolerant and -susceptible varieties. Chilling-tolerant varieties were higher than chilling-susceptible varieties for SOD and CAT activities. One of eight isozyme bands for SOD was a inducible isoform. Three isozymes for CAT and one isozyme for POX were closely correlated with defense to cold water stress. Total GR activities except Stejaree 45 on the basis fresh weight and POX were increased by cold water stress, but there was no difference between chilling-tolerant and -susceptible varieties.

In the aftermath of the global pandemic that started in 2019, there have been many changes in the import/export and supply/demand process of agricultural products in each country. Amid these changes, the necessity and importance of each country's food self-sufficiency rate is increasing. There are several conditions that must accompany efficient agricultural activities, but among them, temperature is by far one of the most important conditions. For this reason, the need for high-accuracy climate data for stable agricultural activities is increasing, and various studies on climate prediction are being conducted in Korea, but data that can visually confirm climate prediction data for farmers are insufficient. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an artificial intelligence-based temperature prediction algorithm that can predict future temperature information by collecting and analyzing temperature data of farms in Gyeonggi-do in Korea for the last 10 years. If this algorithm is used, it is expected that it can be used as an auxiliary data for agricultural activities.
Soil enzyme and microbial activities are affected by fertilizer and compost applications and can be used as sensitive indicators of ecological stability. Microbial population and soil enzymes viz., dehydrogenase, urease, acid phosphatase and aryl-sulphatase were determined in the long-term fertilizer and compost applied paddy soil. Soil samples were collected from the four treatments (control, compost, NPK and compost+NPK). Long-term NPK+compost application significantly increased activities of urease, dehydrogenase and acid phosphatase than all other treatments. The compost application enhanced activities of urease, dehydrogenase and acid phosphatase than the NPK application. However, arylsulfatase activity was not significantly different between compost and fertilizer application. The highest microbial population was recorded in the NPK+compost treatment. The compost application also resulted in higher microbial population than the NPK application. The above results indicate that ecological stability could be maintained by application of compost alone or with NPK.
