맥류품종 및 재배기술의 1962년 이후 변천 (Changes in Variety and Cultural Practices of Wheat and Barley Since 1962 in Korea)

  • Average yield of wheat and barley cultivars has been increased 3 percent every year by varietal improvement. The major characteristic changes of those improved cultivars were the early maturing and lodging resistance using dwarf genes, 70-90cm of culm length appearances, under the heavy fertilizer application. Looking back the cultural practices of wheat and barley for the last 20 years, the introduction of early maturing and lodging resistance cultivars around 1970 brought the changes of seeding rate from 65kg to 130- 200kg per hector and the tillering increased by heavy fertilizer. The utilization of livestock and man power for preparation of seedbed were gradually disappeared by increasing agricultural mechanization. The narrow-spaced seeding $(40cm {\times} l8cm)$ and drill seeding $(20cm {\times} 5cm)$ in upland, broadcasting or drilling on high ridge $(120cm {\times} 90cm)$ with the power-toller and whole area broadcasting in paddy field were improved as the main cultural method. The use of agricultural machineries reduced the labour consumption of 940 man hours to 180 man hours per hector from seeding to harvest.

농업계 대학생의 환경농업인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Agricultural Student's Perception of Sustainable Agriculture)

  • The objectives of this study were to categorize agriculture, to analyze perception of sustainable agriculture and to suggest the directions for improving farming practices in Korea. This study was conducted by review of literature and mail survey. The data was collected from 225 purposively sampled agricultural students by questionnaire. Major findings of the study were as follows; 1) According to the respondents, sustainable agriculture may bring positive effects on the betterment of land conservation, water management and animal protection. 2) The respondents expected that the sustainable agricultural practices may diminish the use of agricultural chemicals and increase safe agricultural products. 3) Sustainable agriculture needs more labor power, however, the number of small and middle-size farms in Korea would not be increased. 4) Even though the price of sustainable agriculture products increases, the respondents expected that rural economic condition would not be much improved because of sustainable agriculture. 5) Agricultural students responded that number of farmers in sustainable agriculture would be increased in the future.

  • In order primarily to establish the working stages in the reclamation works and to- analyze the working characteristics of man-power, the investigations for construction_ works were conducted on Echeon Largescale Reclamation Project Area. The results are summarized as follows; 1. The working chart on reclamation by man-power is Fig.IV-1. 2. The. ratio of actual working time to total varied with the total times, being 1.0 for less than 4 hours but about 0.9-0.83 for more than 5 hours. 3. Felling operations can be classified into three stages as truck-cutting, branch- cutting, and binding-up, of which results are in Table IV-2. The larger the diameter of stands, the more times for both the cutting operations are, but the moving time is constant to be about 15 sec. 4. Stumping and clearing works have the results prepared in Table IV-3. Between the stumping time and the diameter of stands d, there show highly significant positive correlations, expressed as t=2.212d -4.792. The more the ratio of small diameters to total, the more hastily the total hourly working results of each person are increased. 5. Working results for constructing drainage facilities and ridges are in Table IV-5. The labours for placing patches of grass are required more than twice or three times as much as those are showed in the established standards, and such the different results imply more investigation to be necessary. 6. Table IV-6 sholvs the results for plowing andh arrowing, that are less amount thant the standards. Therefore, more inverestigation should be prepared.

환경시료 중 농산물에서 화학적 처리 방법에 의한 방사능 분석 (Radiation Analysis by Chemical Treatment of Agricultural Products in Environmental Samples)

  • 원전 주변의 농경지에서 생산되는 농산물은 방사능 오염으로 인해 체내 방사능 오염을 유발할 가능성을 가질 수 있다. 이에 원전 주변에서 채취된 농산물을 건조 처리하여 섭취에 의한 내부피폭선량 평가를 위해 $^{90}Sr$의 방사능 농도의 한계치를 알아보고자 하였다. 감마동위원소 분석결과 모든 시료에서 인공핵종은 검출되지 않았으며, 쌀에서 < 0.0166~0.0336 Bq/kg-fresh, 배추에서 <0.00586~0.0421 Bq/kg-fresh, 열무에서 <0.0135 ~0.106 Bq/kg-fresh, 배에서 0.0114 ~ 0.0901 Bq/kg-fresh 로서 평상변동범위 수준이었다. 일반인에 대한 연간 선량한도인 1.0 mSv 대비 쌀, 배추, 열무의 $^{90}Sr$에 대해 각각 0.0177%, 0.0222%, 0.0376%, 0.00243%가 나왔으며, 이 값은 일반인에 대한 법적 기준치 $1mSv/yr{\cdot}man$ 비해 0.1 % 미만의 값이 나타났다. 따라서 식생활에서 음식 섭취량 또는 연령을 고려하여 어린이, 어른이 섭취하는 식품에 대한 폭넓은 평가가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

  • A tractor attached TMR(model 430) mixer has been developed in a previous study. However, the mixer was found to be improved through field applications in its capacity, manufacturing cost, ergonomic design and power-train requirement. The TMR mixer was modified into a model TMR500, approved by Institute of Agricultural Mechanization, as follows : 1. Roughage cutting system was seperated from the mixer, resulting in the 33% reduction of manufacturing cost. 2. Enlarged hopper capacity enabled to feed 60 heads at a batch. 3. Hydraulically controlled gate system saved ergonomic man power. 4. Power transmission system was changed from a chain-sprocket system(27:1) to the gear-train reduction system(38.6:1) to satisfy the recommended use of 540rpm PTO input.

농촌쓰레기 관리실태와 해결 방안 연구 (A Study on the Rural Waste Problem and Resolution)

  • Waste policy instruments such as garbage bag-fee system and recycling policy initiated in 1995 have contributed to the reduction of solid waste generation. Rural areas now produce less amount of solid wastes in terms of per capital than urban areas and as compare to a decade ago. However, most policy efforts since the early 1990s related to waste issue have been concentrated in urban areas. Waste problems in rural areas are not the amount itself, but the specific characteristics which are unique in rural regions. Large portion of solid wastes and farming wastes are being illegally treated and/or burned out. Surveys show that the main reasons for the illegal treatment of rural wastes are th lack of systematic policy tools targeting on them, insufficient financial capacity and man power of local governments, rural people's cognition problem about wastes, among others. This study reviews current features of the treatment of rural solid wastes and provides policy suggestions for the resolution of the problem.

  • The concrete pipe used to distribute irrigation water to the right place now available is commonly made up of cement , sand, earth, pebble, etc. These materials with right ratio and right amount of water were mixed and squeezed through the pipe-making machine called vertical squeezed pipe-making machine, and then a cement prefabricated pipe is produced . This kinds of pipe has been expanding by leaps and bounds. Being little cement contents and low cost, the length of pipe is 1.0m or so with weight of 50kg, which is easy to be made and to be transported. The demolish pressure of it is 0.2 MPa or so, which meets the needs of agriculture irrigation . The buried pipe irrigation system, has been popularized in Jining Municipal , Shandong Province. By the year of 1995 , the irrigation area under pipe conveyancesystem usign this type of pipe has reached 74000 hectares. By calculation, about 27.7million ㎥ water, 2.88 million kWh power , 0.167 million man power and 1528 hectares cu tivated land will be saved one year, adding value of agriculture output increased by 10 million kg. The total economic benefits amount to 0.92 million US$ a year. The paper presents the pipe making course and its application on a large scale area.

딸기 시설재배지에서 점박이응애의 발생과 분포 (Occurrence and distribution of Tetranychus urticae Koch (Acarina: Tetranychidae) in strawberry greenhouse)

  • Mean densities of two-spotted spider mite (TSM), Tetranichus urticae Koch adults from January to April in 2014 to investigate the occurrence and dispersion pattern of T. urticae on purpose of developing a monitoring method in the strawberry PVC house. Difference of density of T. urticae adult on middle and both side of leaf wasn't significantly. Density of T. urticae in investigation at different furrows and investigating points was the highest at the right and left sides of a furrow in strawberry PVC house. In results of comparing the dispersion incides of Taylor's power law (TPL) with Iwao's patchiness regression (IPR), TPL described better mean-relationship for the dispersion indieces compared to IPR. Slopes and intercepts of TPL from leaf samples did not differ among surveyed regions. Also, Distribution of T. urticae in a strawberry PVC house was the gravitation of the distribution because b and ${\beta}$ values of TPL and IPR was bigger than 1.

온실내 무인작업기를 위한 경로 자동변환 시스템 개발 (An Automatic Transfer System of the Path for an Unmanned Machine in the Greenhouse)

  • 현재 온실에서 농작업을 작업기는 사람이 운전하고 있다. 온실 안은 무척이나 무덥고 열악한 작업조건이다. 그렇기 때문에 앞으로 무더운 온실내의 작업기 개발은 사람이 직접 운전하지 않고, 자동화에 의한 무인화 될 것으로 전망된다. 온실에서 자동화 및 무인화의 작업을 돕기 위하여 온실내의 경로(길)에 따라 자동적으로 이동할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하게 되었다. 이 시스템은 작업기의 자동화와 무인화를 위한 것이며, 이를 위하여 온실의 천장에 가이드를 연결한 후 이를 따라 시스템이 자동으로 이동할 수 있는 경로 자동변환 시스템이다. 이 시스템은 연마봉으로 만들어진 경로를 따라 선회 및 직선운동이 가능하며, 이 시스템은 경로 변경을 위한 리미트 스위치와 소프트웨어로 구성되어 있다. 이 시스템의 작동여부를 실험하기 위하여 시테핑모터를 가진 마이크로 마우스를 이용하였다. 견고한 실험실의 평면 위에서의 작동실험은 시스템 작동이 100% 성공률을 나타내었지만 모래위나 다른 조건에서는 성공률이 80% 이하로 낮게 나타났다. 실제 온실에서도 충분한 강도를 가진 연마봉을 이용하여 처짐에 대한 부분을 고려하여 사용한다면 경로를 따라 주행하는 이 시스템은 잘 작동할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
