경북지방(慶北地方)의 강수(降水) 및 무강수(無降水) 현상(現象) 조사(調査) 분석(分析) (A Studay on the Rainfall and Drought Days in Kyupgpook Area)

  • In order to determine the design precipitation, the most probable daily precipitation and annual precipitation at every spot are calculated and iso - precipitation line are drawn. Probability of precipitation and drought phenomena of each gage station are analyzied by the method of frequency analysis from the statistical conceptions. The results summarized in this study are as the follows. 1. Annual mean precipitation in kyungpook area are 1044 mm, about 115 mm less than annual mean precipitation of Korea amounts to l1S9mm, and found to regionally unequal. 2. Monthly mean rainfall of July is 242.2mm, 23.2%, August 174.2mm, 16.7%, June 115mm, 11% and September 114.2mm, 10.9% and Rainfall depth of July-August are more than 40% of annual precipition. This shows notable summer rainy weather by typoon and low pressure storm and seasonal unbalance of water supply. 3. The relation among the maximum precipi.tation per day, per two continuous days and per three contnous days are caculated and the latter is found 31.0% increased rate of the first and the last 48.2% increased rate of first. 4. Probability precipitation in Kyungpook area are shown as 9.0%(5 year), 13.3%(10 year), 17.7%(20 year), 23.1%(50 year), 27.0%(100 year) and 31.1%(200 year) increased rate of each recurrence year compared with observed average annual precipitation. 5. From annual precipitation and maximum daily rainfall data probability of precipitation and precipitation isohyetal line are derived which shown as Table 11 and Fig. 8. 6. Drought days are divided 6 class and analysed results are shown on table 12. Average occurrence time of 10-14 continuous drought days are 2.3 time per year, 15-19 days are 0.9 time per year, 20-24 days are one per six years, 30-34 days are once per nine years and over than 35days are once per 25 years.

  • The direction of scientific researches on tree improvement and forest management in several universities and research institutes in Japan can be summarized as follows: They put a great emphasis on sugi, Cryptomeria japonica and cypress, Chamaecyparus oblusa which are two major conifer species largerly planted in the Japanese forestry. In the research of sugi, a great concern has been made in evaluating inheritance of forest tree, quantitative characters and genetic parameter of growth, and in breeding for resistance to diseases and insects and to all the natural calamities. Interaction between environmental conditions and genetic nature of tree can be concerned factors in relation with forest damage, together with silvicultural conditions and pest infestation. Selfing hybrids of $F_1$ made from crossing twisted-leaf sugi, defomity leaf type and midori sugi, normal leaf type segregated the normal needle, twisted needle, green leaf and albino leaf type. It seemed that separation of many defomity individuals can be governed by two dominant complementary genes and from the near loci of which it was detected lethal genes. 52% of Japanese forestry is occupied by the small forest landowners like Korean forestry. This made difficulty for forest improvement such as progressive afforestation and for capital accumulation form forestry. The Forest Corporation was established at first in 1959 to aming at productive forestry structure and forest management, and afforestation. For these purpose, 35 Forest Corporations are at moment operating throughout Japan. However, investment in forestry business becomes less attractive since the wage in forest production duction increased in higher trend. than timber price. Therefore, an artifical afforestation becomes yearly decreased. At present. the self-sufficient rate of timber production in Japan is about 35%, and so a great effort is being made to increase self-sufficient rate of timber production.

사력댐 누수경로 파악을 위한 수리지질과 지구물리 방법의 적용 (Application of hydrogeological and geophysical methods to delineate leakage pathways in an earth fill dam)

  • 한반도 남서쪽에 위치한 산동저수지에 대하여 저수지 누수문제 파악을 위해 다양한 수리지질학적 방법과 지구물리 방법이 적용되었다. 이 연구에서 적용한 방법은 추적자 시험, 배수에 따른 시추공 수위 변화 및 누수량 변화 측정, 쌍극자배열 전기비저항탐사, 온도 검층 및 자연전위법 등이다. 수리지질학적 방법 적용 결과 누수형태는 댐체 측벽부를 통한 누수로 밝혀졌으며, 지구물리 방법 적용 결과 이러한 누수구간 및 누수로가 확인되었다. 또한 연구결과로서 지구물리방법 중 전기비저항탐사는 누수구간 규명에 효과적이며, 유동전위를 대상으로 한 자연전위법은 누수 지점 및 누수 유로 확인에 매우 높은 적용성을 확인하였다. 특히 자연번위법 적용 결과 누수가 합쳐져 유출되는 지점 근처에서 측정된 자연전위가 상대적으로 강한 음의 값을 나타냄에 따라 누수량의 증가와 자연전위값의 변화는 상관성이 큰 것으로 나타났다.

인공강우 모사를 통한 석회/유기퇴비 혼합물의 경사지 토양유실 억제효과 (Reducing Soil Loss of Sloped Land using Lime-Organic Compost mixtures under Rainfall Simulation)

  • In a previous study, the feasibility of four materials (bentonite, steelmaking slag, lime and organic compost) to induce soil aggregate formation was assessed and the mixtures of organic compost and lime were chosen as most effective amendments in terms of cost benefit. This work is a subsequent study to evaluate the effectiveness of those amendments in reducing soil loss in $15^{\circ}$ sloped agricultural area by using rainfall simulation test. Three different soils were treated with two conditions of organic compost/lime mixtures (2% + 2%, 3% + 1%, w/w). In the amended soils, soil fertility was increased due to the increase of CEC, T-N, and T-P. During the rainfall simulation, suspended solid in run-off water from amended soil were reduced by 43% ~ 78%. When the content of organic compost was higher than that of lime, reduction of soil loss was also increased by 67% ~ 78%. Sediment discharge was also decreased by 72% ~ 96% in the amended soil. Similar to the suspended solid analysis, higher organic compost content led to more reduction of soil discharging, which implies organic compost is more effective than lime in reducing soil loss. The overall result suggests that the mixtures of organic compost and lime could be used as amendment materials to reduce soil loss in sloped farmland.

수리시설개보수사업 선정을 위한 의사결정지원모델 (Decision Support Model for Selection Water Resources Facility Improvement Projects)

  • 농업용 저수지의 80 % 이상이 50년 이상 된 노후 시설물로 안전성 및 기능 저하가 발생하고 있다. 이로 인해 저수지의 붕괴 등 안전사고가 발생하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 따라서 저수지의 붕괴 등의 안전사고를 미연에 방지하고자 정밀안전진단을 실시하고 우선순위에 따라 수리시설개보수사업을 시행하고 있다. 하지만 사업 우선순위 선정의 대부분은 시설물 관리자의 주관적인 판단을 통해 이루어지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 정밀안전진단 결과 및 기존의 수리시설 개보수사업의 의사결정 사례를 D/B화하여 80개의 가설을 설정하고 상관분석 및 유의성검정을 통해 45개의 변수를 선정하였다. 선정된 변수들을 로지스틱회귀분석을 이용하여 의사결정지원모델을 제시하였다. 의사결정지원모델의 변수는 총 21개가 채택되었으며 모델의 분류 정확도는 86.8 %로 나타났다. 본 연구는 수리시설개보수사업 선정을 위한 의사결정의 정량적인 지표를 제시 한 부분에 중요한 의의를 가진다.

UAV Utilization for Efficient Estimation of Earthwork Volume Based on DEM

  • In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, smart construction, in which new technologies such as UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) are fused, is attracting attention in the construction field. However, the method of estimating earthwork volume using DEM generated by UAV survey according to practical regulations such as construction design guidelines or standard product counting is not officially recognized and needs to be improved. In this study, different types of UAV were measured and DEM was obtained using this data. The DEM (Digital Elevation Model) thus obtained was analyzed for changes in the amount of earthworks according to the size of the GSD (Ground Sample Distance). In addition, the amount of earthwork by DEM and the amount of earthwork by existing design drawings were compared and analyzed. As a result of the study, it was suggested that images with a GSD of 5cm or less are effective to generate a high-quality DEM. Next, as a result of comparing the earthwork volume calculation method using DEM and the earthwork volume based on the existing 2D design drawings, a difference of about 1% was shown. In addition, when the design earthwork amount calculated by the double-section averaging method was compared with the designed earthwork amount using DEM data by UAV survey, a difference of about 1% was found. Therefore, it is suggested that the method of calculating the amount of earthworks using UAV is an efficient method that can replace the existing method.

흰점박이꽃무지(Protaetia brevitarsis) 추출물의 항혈전 효능 (Antithrombotic Efficacy of Protaetia brevitarsis Extract)

  • We aimed to evaluate antithrombotic efficacy of Protaetia brevitarsis extract during 21 days. Rats (SPF rat, weight 240~260 g) were divided into 16 groups (5 rats per group), they were: control group and Protaetia brevitarsis extract groups with dose of 0.1, 0.5, 1, 2.5, 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 200, 250, 500, 750, 1,000 mg/kg kg of body weight. Thromboplastin time (PT) and activated partial thromboplastin time (aPPT) as antithrombotic efficacy were tested in this animal experiment (at 7, 14 and 21 days). Overall, the admistration dose of Protaetia brevitarsis extract over 50 mg/kg at 7, 14 and 21 days for PT and over 25 mg/kg at 7, 14 and 21 days for aPPT tented to be longer than that of other groups. In addition, the optimal admistration doses of Protaetia brevitarsis extract to improves antithrombotic efficacy were 75, 100, 200 and 250 mg/kg at 7, 14 and 21 days for PT (p<0.05) and 50 and 100 mg/kg at 7 days, 75 mg/kg at 14 days, or 50, 100, 200 and 250 mg/kg at 21 days for aPPT (p<0.05). It can be concluded that Protaetia brevitarsis extract at optimal levels have antithrombotic efficacy.

오가나무 잎, 줄기의 항산화 및 항당뇨 효능 분석 (Antioxidant and antidiabetic effects of leaves and stems of Acanthopanax sieboldianum (Makino) Koidz)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the potential of Acanthopanax sieboldianum (Makino) Koidz (ACS) as a potent antioxidant and antidiabetic agent. The antioxidative and alpha-glucosidase inhibitory activities were examined using the methanol extracts and solvent fractions from ACS-leaf and ACS-stem. Antioxidative activities were measured by in vitro methods such as DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activity and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity. When the chloroform and ethyl acetate fractions of ACS-leaf and ethyl acetate fractions of ACS-stem were compared with the control, the SOD-like activity was impaired even at the low treatment concentrations. In addition, the ethyl acetate fractions of ACS-leaf and ACS-stem showed alpha-glucosidase inhibition activities at low treatment concentrations. Analysis of the major components in the fractions of ACS-leaf and ACS-stem was also performed using HPLC. Finally, astragalin, isoqurecetin, chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid contents were measured. Based on this work, we propose that ACS-leaf and ACS-stem have great potential as natural antioxidant and antidiabetic materials related to health benefits.

목부착형 센서를 이용한 기계학습 기반 소 심부체온 예측방안 (Estimation of Body Core Temperature of Cow using Neck Sensor based on Machine Learning)

  • 체온은 가축의 건강상태와 직접적으로 연관되어있어서 건강에 문제가 발생하였을 때 체온이 즉각 변화한다. 따라서 정확한 체온 측정은 스마트 축사 관리에서 중요하다. 하지만 현재 가축의 체온을 측정하기 위해서 주로 사용되는 표피 부착형 센서의 경우 외기 및 센서의 부착상태에 따라 측정되는 체온 값이 크게 변화하고, 측정되는 체온이 가축의 실제 심부체온과 다른 경우가 많다. 본 연구에서는 목 부착형 센서를 이용하여 소의 심부체온을 예측하는 방안을 개발하였다. 특히 심부체온을 정확하게 예측하는 회귀방안과 특정온도 이상으로 체온이 올라가는 것을 감지하는 분류방안을 다양한 기계학습방안을 이용하여 개발하였다. 이를 통해 높은 정확도로 소의 심부체온 이상여부를 예측할 수 있음을 보였다. 제안 방안을 통해서 소의 건강상태를 정확하게 파악하고 축사관리의 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있다.

Genetic diversity analysis of fourteen geese breeds based on microsatellite genotyping technique

  • Objective: This study aimed to measure genetic diversity and to determine the relationships among fourteen goose breeds. Methods: Microsatellite markers were isolated from the genomic DNA of geese based on previous literature. The DNA segments, including short tandem repeats, were tested for their diversity among fourteen populations of geese. The diversity was tested on both breeds and loci level and by mean of unweighted pair group method with arithmetic mean and structure program, phylogenetic tree and population structure were tested. Results: A total of 108 distinct alleles (1%) were observed across the fourteen breeds, with 36 out of the 108 alleles (33.2%) being unique to only one breed. Genetic parameters were measured per the 14 breeds and the 9 loci. Medium to high heterozygosity was reported with high effective numbers of alleles (Ne). Polymorphic information contents (PIC) of the screened loci was found to be highly polymorphic for eleven breeds; while 3 breeds were reported moderately polymorphic. Breeding coefficient ($F_{IS}$) ranged from -0.033 to 0.358, and the pair wise genetic differentiation ($F_{ST}$) ranged from 0.01 to 0.36 across the fourteen breeds; for the 9 loci observed and expected heterozygosity, and Ne were same as the breeds parameters, PIC of the screened loci reported 6 loci highly polymorphic and 3 loci to be medium polymorphic, and $F_{IS}$ ranged from -0.113 to 0.368. In addition, genetic distance estimate revealed a close genetic distance between Canada goose and Hortobagy goose breeds by 0.04, and the highest distance was between Taihu goose and Graylag goose (anser anser) breed by 0.54. Conclusion: Cluster analyses were made, and they revealed that goose breeds had hybridized frequently, resulting in a loss of genetic distinctiveness for some breeds.
