The purpose of this study was to investigate the way of housing DB construction about the elderly people. Documentary research and content analysis methods were used in this study. The major results of this study are as follows. The number of elderly household is increasing very rapidly. Especially they consist of single or coupled family. They want to live in detached house and aging in place. But social welfare system is not enough to satisfy their needs. So, it is need that systematic social support or welfare system to reflect their needs. For example, related works of housing welfare for them are prepared that their data base system as socio-demographic characteristics and living conditions.

As rapid aging and high economic level, people are interested in their wellness. And it needs to examine the condition of their health constantly. Proposed device can measure bio-signal by connecting several measurement modules such as spirometric module, blood glucose measurement module, uro-flow measurement module and temperature measurement module. These modules can be chosen as occasion demands. In addition, developed user program enables patients to monitor bio-signal at their own place via the personal computer.

Although the population of the elderly has grown rapidly, their residential environment is not supported appropriately. The elderly are hard to adapt a new environment, so the concept of 'aging in place' is on the rise. For these reasons, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Ministry of Construction and Transportation, and Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy suggested each a design guideline for the elderly housing. In this study, we made a comparative analysis on these guidelines. Each guideline has something common but has some differences. So they needs of their integration after this.

The effects of urea addition and reaction conditions were examined in the prepareation of zirconia coated SiC whiskers through surface precipitation taking place during high-temperature aging of Zr(SO4)2 solutions containing the whiskers. More dense zirconia-hydrate was precipitated on the surfaces of the whiskers in the presence of urea. The ratio of the concentration of Zr(SO4)2 to the amount of added whiskers was the most important factor to confine the precipitation of zirconia-hydrate only at the surfaces of the whiskers The from of the coating layers was unchanged after heat-treatment leading to the dehydration and crystallization of the layers.

Purpose: The Purpose of the study is to investigate the need for the preparation of old age of Korean dental technicians. Methods: A total of 778 dental technicians were selected by proportional stratified by region compared to extraction sampling from a list of Korea dental technician Association in 2012. The final sample size was 386. Questionnaires consisted of 9 general characteristics, recognition of old age 4, and preparation of old age 9 on a Liken 5 scale. Cronbach's alpha was 0.784 in the study. All statistical analyzed were performed using SPSS 14.0(Statistical Packages for Social Science Ver. 14.0. Chicago, IL, USA). Results: Factors affecting the aging preparation is gender, age, clinical career, work place(p<0.001). Conclusion: This study suggested that preparation for old age of Korean dental technicians was very important and the preparation must be connected with the social welfare policy.

Health care services in a residential area would accelerate the aging in place. In addition, these changes would play a key role in terms of reducing healthcare costs and leading a healthy lifestyle. The purpose of this study draws the design methodology of community facilities and each dwelling with healthcare services in apartment complex, which the elderly people will enjoy a better health status. This paper presents the result focused on the welfare building in Gayang 7th apartment complex. The intention to receive healthcare services was investigated by occupants. Moreover, design requirements were drawn through in-depth interviews and the state observation to use the service. In the complex, stronger intention to serve the u-Healthcare services was shown to the pre elderly group than the elderly. Both of them had a problem to use and keep the health equipment due to the fact there is not enough space in the unit. Reporting the observation results, the upright-posture furniture attaching the healthcare equipment and the equipment storage should be prepared in the unit. In the public space, the program for these healthcare services can be divided into three parts, i.e. the health status measurement, the healthcare, and the service connected to the surrounding facilities. The health status measurement can be the basic to the health services and its function should be gradually extended. In the complex, the hybrid type with various functions could be applied owing to a new building for welfare; moreover, semi-independent user should be able to receive the home healthcare service.

A method is presented for the analysis of curved segmentally erected prestressed concrete box girder bridges including time-dependent effects due to load history, temperature history, creep, shrinkage, aging of concrete and relaxation of prestressing steel. The segments can be either precast or cast-in-place. Thin-walled beam theory and finite element method are combined to develop a curved nonprismatic thin-walled box beam element. The element consists of three nodes and each node has eight displacement degrees of freedom, including transverse distortion and longitudinal warping of the cross section.

Recently, Korean society is increaseing "1 person family" phenomenon, which is influenced by changing of young peoples' value, aging society and social economic problems. Increase of single households is a result of complex economic, cultural and social factors. It is because as the individual's financial independence increases due to elevated income and education level, the age of marriage is going up and the individualism, which values the individual's value rather than custom, is spreading. Therefore, this new phenomenon will be impact to between social, economic value structure and living space. An increase with small furnitures are also increasing of R&D and marketing plans for 1 person family. Currently, 1 person family is bigger than last decade and that is requiring more suitable and multi-functional furniture for them. However, in Korea furniture companies are more optimization to traditional family size. Thus, this research explore about developing cheap price sofa bed, which is using at narrow area and small place.

The conventional markets is badly damaged by a big fire because of no proper fire fighting management system. The cause of electricity fire is the aging and contact badness of electric equipment. The supervisory detecting system is needed to develop because the electric equipment is located to non visible and non exposing place. In this paper, we investigated the receiving and distributing board, the panel board and the fire prevention system of 17 domestic conventional markets. As a result of survey, capacity of distributing boards is mainly 600A and materials of distributing boards are synthetic resins 49%, metal 44%. ELB is mainly used as branch circuit breaker.

Recently, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has emphasized the necessity to build community care, and the interest of health care- long-term care-social welfare system continues. In order to examine the future vision of long-term care for elderly people, which can be a core system in establishing community models for elderly people in the future, we will implement aging in place as a national policy project. It is meaningful to analyze in depth the case of Japan's policy implementation through the amendment process of long-term care insurance system. The purpose of this study is to examine the concept definition, operating system, and major promotion process of the Integrated Care System in Japan and to suggest policy implications for the future Korea long-term care insurance system. As a result of reviewing the operation status and revision process of the long-term care insurance system for establishing the Integrated care system in Japan, it is necessary to clarify the basic principles and construction of community care system, diversification of residence type and upgrading work, establishment of linkage network of health care-long term care-social welfare, expansion of support for family and self-mind.
