  • The focus of this paper is en symbolic interaction of housing and self identity. In terms of housing \ulcorner self interactions, this paper aims at defining how human self is influenced by housing and is reflected on housing.This paper discusses meanings and symbols of housing, it also clarifies the development of industry and technology have effect on housing - self indentify and enrich reification, pseudoindividuality, alienation.This paper concludes that human beings are creative agent and accordingly suggests revitalizing housing environmental representations .

A Ubiquitous Vision System based on the Identified Contract Net Protocol (Identified Contract Net 프로토콜 기반의 유비쿼터스 시각시스템)

  • In this paper, a new protocol-based approach was proposed for development of a ubiquitous vision system. It is possible to apply the approach by regarding the ubiquitous vision system as a multiagent system. Thus, each vision sensor can be regarded as an agent (vision agent). Each vision agent independently performs exact segmentation for a target by color and motion information, visual tracking for multiple targets in real-time, and location estimation by a simple perspective transform. Matching problem for the identity of a target during handover between vision agents is solved by the Identified Contract Net (ICN) protocol implemented for the protocol-based approach. The protocol-based approach by the ICN protocol is independent of the number of vision agents and moreover the approach doesn't need calibration and overlapped region between vision agents. Therefore, the ICN protocol raises speed, scalability, and modularity of the system. The protocol-based approach was successfully applied for our ubiquitous vision system and operated well through several experiments.

  • Mobile IP was proposed to overcome identity problem of original IP address system caused by mobility of wireless mobile host. To complete its network handoff procedure, it must receive a mobile advertisement broadcasted by mobile agent. Generally, in a mobile IP system, mean time delay, 500ms, in a network handoff procedure is a critical problem of wireless service such as Voip, multimedia streaming. A caching agent caches a latest mobile advertisement, and replays it by receiving solicitation message from a mobile node finishing link layer detection. But, during the procedure of mobile registration, many packets from service provider to the mobile host would be lost and handoff time delay would be increased. In this thesis, we propose an unproved caching agent technique which can forward data packets while handoff procedure, and CoA pool for fast mobile IP registration.

  • Various techniques have been proposed for detection and tracking of targets in order to develop a real-world computer vision system, e.g., visual surveillance systems, intelligent transport systems (ITSs), and so forth. Especially, the idea of distributed vision system is required to realize these techniques in a wide-spread area. In this paper, we develop a ubiquitous vision system for location-awareness of multiple targets. Here, each vision sensor that the system is composed of can perform exact segmentation for a target by color and motion information, and visual tracking for multiple targets in real-time. We construct the ubiquitous vision system as the multiagent system by regarding each vision sensor as the agent (the vision agent). Therefore, we solve matching problem for the identity of a target as handover by protocol-based approach. We propose the identified contract net (ICN) protocol for the approach. The ICN protocol not only is independent of the number of vision agents but also doesn't need calibration between vision agents. Therefore, the ICN protocol raises speed, scalability, and modularity of the system. We adapt the ICN protocol in our ubiquitous vision system that we construct in order to make an experiment. Our ubiquitous vision system shows us reliable results and the ICN protocol is successfully operated through several experiments.

  • With mobile-epoch and emerging of Fin-tech, Bio-recognition technology utilizing bio-information in secure method has spread. Specially, In order to change convenient payment services and transportation cards, the combination of biometrics and mobile services are being expanded. The basic concept of authentication such as access control, IA&A, OpenID, OAuth 1.0a, SSO, and Biometrics techniques are investigated, and the protocol stack for security API platform, FIDO, SCIM, OAuth 2.0, JSON Identity Suite, Keystone of OpenStack, Cloud-based SSO, and AIM Agent are described detailed in aspect of application of AIM. The authentication technology in domestic and foreign will accelerate technology development and research of standardization centered in the federated FIDO Universal Authentication Framework(UAF) and Universal 2 Factor Framework(U2F). To accommodate the changing needs of the social computing paradigm recently in this paper, the trends of various authentication technology, and design and function of AIM framework was defined.

  • Recently, Fusobacterium nucleatum subsp. polymorphum was reclassified as Fusobacterium polymorphum based on the average nucleotide identity and genome-to-genome distance analyses. F. polymorphum is a Gram-negative, anaerobic, and filament-shaped bacterium. F. polymorphum is a part of normal flora of oral cavity and causative agent of periodontal diseases. F. polymorphum KCOM 1001 (= ChDC F119) was isolated from a human subgingival plaque of gingivitis lesion. Here, we present the complete genome sequence of F. polymorphum KCOM 1001.

  • This article discusses David Henry Hwang's M. Butterfly as a suggestive text for examining Western masculinity in crisis in the post-imperialist age, in which territorial imperialism is no longer valid. Previous scholarship on M. Butterfly has centered around the interlocking dynamics of imperialism, racism and sexism. Such critical attentions focus on how Hwang deconstructs racialized significations of the East and the West. In these discussions, the issue of gender is often addressed merely as a trope to represent the power relations between the East and the West. As such, gender as well as sexuality is highlighted as the very source of subversion of the power relations. My discussion departs from a critique of the gendered trope of the East and the West, highlighting a postmodern agent, the allegedly feminized character Song Lining: a Chinese actor who passes for a woman for political purposes in postcolonial China. Remaining an "inappropriate/d other" in the gendered imperialist discourse, Song becomes an emergent subject, who is capable of playing gender ambiguity for reclaiming a devalued identity, that of homosexual Asian man. Discussing how the central character Rene Gallimard's masculine identity is constructed in a cross-cultural space and how it evolves, I also argue that Gallimard's melancholic death signifies a historical unsustainability of imperialist masculinity in the postmodern/postcolonial age since World War II.

  • The disease syndrome characterized by the acute vomiting and diarrhea with high mortality had been greatly epidemic in Korea since June, 1931 and it was followed serologically and electron microscopically for the clarification of the agent. The agent present in feces of dogs associated with this syndrome had characteristic feature in agglutinating pig red blood cells that was specifically inhibited by anti-CPV reference dog serum. This also showed the serological identity with the reference CPV antigen in immuno-diffusion. Electron micrograph of the material revealed parvovirus particles with size of 20nm and icosahedral structure. These results clearly indicated that CPV was the primary cause of canine epidemic prevailing in 1981 in Korea.

  • According to the development of mobile communications, many people have been offered high qualify of the application services using portable terminals. But those works nay have many vulnerabilities and have the limit of excutaions. Because the application services are provided in mobile network and the performance of portable terminals is lower than that of base stations. To improve these problems, in this paper, we propose one-time proxy signature scheme that can reduce the computational ctsost on a user and prevent a proxy agent's dishonesty. The proposed scheme is based on the KBLK scheme [2] which applied the fail-stop signature scheme [1]. It is constructed that a proxy signer can sign only one message with a proxy key and we add anonimity to it for the user's identity protection in mobile communication like a M-commerce.

  • Evidence is presented for the isolation and characterization of Anaplasma avis in both indigenous (Korean) and exotic goats imported from Australia. These studies were carried out in response to epidemic scenario whereby farmers reported noticing what was described as a mysterious disease characterized by anemia, anorexia, general malaise and a significant morbidity and mortality rate in both types of goat breeds. The syndrome consistent with caprine anaplasmosis was associated with an intraerythrocytic agent occuring in single initial bodies characteristically surrounded by a single-layered membrane whereas the marginal body was typically surrounded by a double-layered membrane. The identity of the etiologic agent was confirmed as Anaplasma avis by light and ultrastructural microscopy.
