산사태에 관한 STEAM 프로그램이 고등학생들의 정의적 영역에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of STEAM Program Using Landslide on High School Students' Affective Domain)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 STEAM 프로그램이 고등학생의 정의적 영역에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 '산사태와 우리생활'을 주제로 한 STEAM 프로그램을 개발하여 고등학교 과학 동아리 학생 16명에게 7주 동안 적용하였다. 정의적 영역에 관한 과학적 태도 검사를 사전과 사후에 실시하였으며, 프로그램 적용이 끝난 후 STEAM 프로그램에 관한 설문조사 및 심층인터뷰를 실시하였다. 과학적 태도의 관점에서 STEAM 프로그램은 즐거움, 가치, 자신감, 그리고 일반적인 과학적 태도에서 긍정적 효과를 가져 온다는 것이 나타났다. 프로그램 평가 설문지 결과를 살펴보면 정의적 영역에 도움이 되었다고 응답한 학생이 가장 많았으며 인지적 영역에서도 긍정적 변화가 있음이 확인되었다.

경증 및 중증 외상성 뇌손상 환자의 성격평가 질문지 프로파일 (Personality Assessment Inventory Profiles of Patients with Mild and Severe Traumatic Brain Injury)

  • Objectives:This study was designed to investigate the characteristics of personality changes and emotional distress using the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) in patients with traumatic brain injury(TBI), divided into mild (MTBI) and severe (STBI) groups according to the severity of injury. Methods:The subjects were consisted of 25 patients with MTBI, 25 patients with STBI, and 25 normal controls. They were interviewed with the PAI. The data were analyzed by ${\chi}^2$ test, analysis of variance and Tukey test. Results:The results were the followings. First, Negative Impression in validity scales was elevated above cutoff point(T score 70) in both MTBI and STBI groups. Second, the clinical scales of which scores elevated above the cutoff point were Somatic Complaints, Anxiety, Anxiety-Related Disorders, Depression, and Schizophrenia in the MTBI, and Somatic Complaints and Depression in the STBI. Third, the clinical subscales above the cutoff point were Conversion, Somatization, Health Concerns, Affective Anxiety, Physiological Anxiety, Traumatic Stress, Cognitive Depression, Affective Depression, Physiological Depression, Thought Disorder, and Affective Instability in the MTBI, and Health Concerns, Cognitive Depression, Affective Depression, and Physiological Depression in the STBI. Fourth, Suicide Ideation in treatment scales was the only scale above the cutoff point in the MTBI and the others of the treatment and interpersonal scales in the MTBI and all of these scales of the STBI were not elevated above the cutoff point. Fifth, the scales of which scores showed significant difference between the MTBI and the STBI were Somatic Complaints, Anxiety, Depression, and Suicide Ideation, the subscales were Conversion, Somatization, Health Concerns, Affective Anxiety, Physiological Anxiety, Physiological Depression, and Psychotic Experiences. Conclusion:These results suggest that the patients with MTBI had more somatic and anxiety symptoms, depressed mood, and suicidal ideation than the patients with STBI. These characteristics are generally consistent with clinical observation and findings from previous studies of the patients with TBI, and the PAI seems to be a beneficial adjunctive assessment tool for the evaluation of patients with traumatic brain injury.

수학적 의사소통 기반의 수학교실문화 형성 수업이 초등학생의 인지적·정의적 영역에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Teaching Mathematics Focused on Establishing Mathematical Communication-Based Classroom Culture on Elementary Students' Cognitive and Affective Domain)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 수학교실문화 형성 수업이 초등학생의 인지적 정의적 영역에 미치는 영향을 확인하고 그 과정을 분석하는 것이다. 연구를 위해 서울시내 한 초등학교 3학년 2개 학급을 선정한 후 수학교실문화 형성을 위한 규범 협의 및 수학적 의사소통을 기반으로 한 20차시의 수업을 진행하고 경청 자기 평가지를 작성하였다. 인지적 영역의 검사를 위해 수학 성취도 평가를 실시하였고 정의적 영역의 검사를 위해 수학적 성향 검사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 수학교실문화 형성 수업이 학생의 인지적 정의적 영역 발달에 긍정적인 효과를 준다는 것을 확인하였다. 특히, 수학교실문화 형성 과정에서 학생들은 수학 교과의 정의적 측면에서의 변화가 드러났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 학교 현장에서 수학교실문화의 중요성에 대한 교사의 인식 변화의 필요성과 학생을 둘러싼 다양한 환경이 연계된 수학교실문화의 형성을 제안하였다.

정동의 기록화 '4.16 기억저장소'를 중심으로 (Affects in and of Archives : Focused on 4.16 Memory Storage)

  • 본 연구는 기록의 '정동적 가치'에 대한 탐색을 목적으로 한다. 전통적으로 기록은 증거 가치, 정보 가치, 그리고 실물 가치를 지니는 것으로 평가되어왔다. 하지만, 1990년대 이후 시작된 서구 인문사회학 전반에서의 '정동적 전환(affective turn)'은 기록이 가지는 권위 밖 이질적인 것으로 간주되던 '정동 가치'에 대한 논의를 촉구했다. 불행히도 서구에서 기록의 정동적 가치에 대한 논의를 본격화했던 반면 국내 기록학계 내 기록에 대한 정동적 논의는 거의 부재한 실정이다. 본 연구는 기록의 정동적 가치를 본격적으로 탐색하기 위해 먼저 정동의 이론적 논의를 살핀다. 이어서 정동의 기록화를 보여줄 국내 사례를 구체적으로 다루고 있다. 재난 시대의 고통과 슬픔, 애도를 기록하는 대표적인 정동의 저장소로서 4.16 기억저장소의 기록관리 사례를 살펴본다. 이 연구는 사회적 정동의 예상치 못한 파급 효과를 드러냄과 동시에 극적계기를 제공한 세월호 참사, 그리고 이의 기록활동으로서 '4.16 기억저장소'를 동시대 트라우마적 사건의 생존자들과 유가족의 고통과 슬픔을 기록한 정동 기록의 대표 사례로 보고 집중적으로 관찰한다. 본 연구는 '4.16 기억저장소'의 사례를 통해 기존의 기록관리 관행과는 다른 정동 기록화의 차별성이 수집에서부터 평가 및 서비스에 이르기까지 어떻게 구현되는지를 구체적으로 드러내 보인다.

TIMSS 결과에 기초한 과학의 정의적 성취 특성 및 과학 교사의 인식 분석 (An Analysis of the Properties of Affective Achievement in Science Based on TIMSS and Science Teachers' Perception)

  • 본 연구에서는 TIMSS 2007 결과 과학 영역의 학업 성취는 높지만 정의적 성취가 서로 다른 국가들을 선정하여 정의적 특성과 관련된 학생 설문 문항을 분석하였다. 또한 우리나라 과학 교사 대상 온라인 설문조사를 통해 과학 교수 학습의 특성과 정의적 성취에 대한 인식을 알아보았다. 학생 설문 분석 결과, 과학에 대한 자신감, 즐거움, 가치 인식 수준이 높은 학생의 비율은 홍콩, 싱가포르, 잉글랜드는 높고 우리나라, 대만, 일본은 그 비율이 낮게 나타났다. 실제 과학 수업의 교수 학습 특성을 보면 우리나라는 실험과 연구 활동이나 실생활 맥락에서의 과학 수업이 잘 이루어지지 않고 있었다. 과학 교사 대상 설문 결과에서 과학에 대한 자신감이 낮은 이유로 과학 내용이 어렵고 흥미롭지 않은 점과 과학 학습을 위한 절대적 시간의 부족을, 과학에 대한 흥미가 낮은 이유로 과학 내용이 어렵고 미래 자신의 진학이나 진로와 관련이 없다고 생각하는 점을 제시하였다. 또한 과학 교과의 가치 인식이 낮은 이유로 진로를 위해 과학을 잘 할 필요가 없어서나 과학이 일상생활에 도움이 되지 않는다고 여기는 점을 제시하였다.

An Exploratory Study on the Relationship between Country Image and the Evaluation of Fashion Products Influenced by the Ethnic Dress of Asians

  • Our study was designed to provide some insights on positive country image and the mechanisms of influence that Asian fashion industries can draw upon for future benefit. We focused on a country image and fashion products with Asian ethnic influence. Asian traditional costume elements reflected in contemporary fashion products may be important representative tools for national cultural identity. This study qualitatively investigated how and to what extent country image and additional information influence the evaluation of fashion products influenced by Chinese, Japanese, and Korean traditional dress. We conducted four focus-group interviews (FGI) with 30 students from a fashion program at a university in the United States. We analyzed the evaluation of fashion products influenced by Chinese, Japanese, and Korean traditional dress, and their associations with country image. Our qualitative analysis offered more developed empirical evidence for the various paths through which country image affects the evaluation of fashion products influenced by the ethnic dress of Asians. The results of our study showed that the more direct the source of prior knowledge, the larger the influence on product evaluation. This study showed that certain cues in the evaluation of fashion products with Asian ethnic influence induce changes in the affective state (that stem from the psychological and social nature of fashion products) and illustrate the necessity of considering the affective processes involved in the appropriate use of the country image. In the fashion industry, extrinsic properties such as the country image significantly influence the attitude and purchasing decisions of consumers. The significance of this study lies in its verification of the relationship between the country image and additional information. Modular and situational-contextual influences are also revealed as important factors that deserve more attention, as well as considerations regarding the dimensions of the country image described in attitude theory.

과학일지 쓰기가 초등학생의 과학 학업성취도와 정의적 영역에 미치는 영향 (The Effect on Academic Achievement and Science-Related Affective Domain of Elementary Students through Science Journal Writing)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the effect on academic achievement and science-related affective domain of elementary students though science journal writing about the units of Science textbook of the first semester of the sixth grade. The results indicate that science-journal writing has influenced the students positively in the academic achievement of a lower group's academic achievements, in science related attitudes, 'voluntariness' and 'cooperation', in science learning motives, 'self-satisfaction for science', 'superficial strategies for science', and 'expectation for science', in fear level for science subjects, its lower fear class, 'experiment performance'. A middle group was revealed to have more positive improvement in 'cooperation' and 'perseverance', both of which were lower categories of science related attitudes, and as subgrade of science learning motives, 'self-efficiency for science' and 'expectation for science' stood out. For fear level for science subjects, the lower group gained distinctive results from 'science evaluation'.

강건 설계기법을 이용한 자동차 게이지 클러스터의 디자인 요소와 고객 감성에 관한 연구 (Effects of Design Factors of the Instrument Cluster Panel on Consumers' Affection Applying Robust Design)

  • It is known from consumer surveys that the interior design of cars greatly influences on consumers' affection. Most notably, the instrument panel which occupies the driver's attention while driving would be one of the main components that affect consumer's affection, but the designer does not often put due importance to this design component. The purpose of this study is to define consumers' affection on the instrument cluster panel in terms of its design factors: color of panel lighting and layout of meters as independent factors. Semantic differentials or affective adjectives that are related to the instrument panel were first derived from surveys, existing studies and the available literature. Then, representative affective factors were drawn using factor analysis and multi-dimensional scaling (MDS). Evaluation of the instrument panel was performed and analyzed by Taguchi's robust design to provide more robust results under various noise factors which are color and material of car interior. Experiment revealed that consumers had five affective factors on the instrument panel and luxurious, charming, and visible affections are grouped into a factor and unique and dynamic affections in another factor. Evaluation of the instrument panel by Taguchi's robust design found that the white color of panel lighting and the panel with four meters was the most preferred design in terms of both the affection of luxury and uniqueness.

감성조명 환경 설계를 위한 감성평가 연구 : LED조명을 적용한 사무 공간을 중심으로 (Affective Evaluation for Human-centered Lighting Environment Design : Focused on Office Spaces using LED lighting)

  • LED lightings combined with IT technology can provide variable illumination environments that can be controlled by users according to their emotional need and preferences. This is one of the most beneficial functions compared with conventional lightings offering only fixed color and brightness. There is however lack of analysis data for creating practical lighting solutions satisfying user preferences in a wide range of applications from residential to commercial places. To materialize the technical advantages of user-controllable LED lightings, more observation data are required in various situations. Therefore, dissimilar emotional needs are determined in the present study for compartmental office spaces (staff lounge room, meeting room and desk job place) through subjective experiments by 45 observers. The optimum lighting conditions (CCT and illuminance) are finally obtained using Response Surface Method and relevant prediction functions are also deduced. The final outcome can be applied for making user-preferred office illumination products.

환자-의사 의사소통 수업의 한의학전문대학원 학생에 대한 효과 (An Impact of Patient-physician Communication Curriculum on Students of Korean Medical School)

  • Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the impact of patient-physician communication curriculum on students of Korean medical school in terms of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor level of communication skills. Methods: A communication curriculum was developed considering COVID-19 pandemic situation. Lectures, peer role-play, open interview with standardized patient (SP), discussion and feedback were conducted by online, and face-to-face 1:1 SP-interview was performed. Scores of written test, peer role-play of medical communication, SP-interview, self-evaluation on one's interview with real patients in clinical clerkship, and questionnaire of importance were collected and analyzed. Results: Converted to 100 point scale, the mean score of written test (cognitive level) was 91.2 while that of importance questionnaire (affective level) was 77.5. The mean scores of psychomotor level were 72.5, 77.5, and 62.5 for peer role-play, SP-interview, and real patient interview in clerkship, respectively. Conclusions: Students' performance is lower in higher level of competence. Curriculums should provide more opportunities of practices to students, and include evaluation focusing on performance skills.
