MMORPG online game business has emerged as the most lucrative entertainment industry, with over 10 million gamers in South Korea. It appears that in this extremely attractive and growing services segment, academics, as well as practitioners, would benefit from investigating the relationships among the players' attachment or affection, game contents-related and social interaction-related construct. We assume that game contents-related construct consists of storytelling, game-play method, contents-diversity and the sense of identification, and that social interaction-related construct includes information-sharing, gamers' empowerment and the word-of-mouth. Based on data collected from online questionnaire survey, the validity of the research model has been tested. The results show that contents-related construct influences the players' attachment, and that social interaction-related construct has no direct impact on the attachment. But social interaction-related construct has been shown to influence contents-related construct, implying the indirect impact on the players' attachment.
This paper is about to implement a system for ground water safety evaluation. Since ground water quality is affected from the contamination source of surface water, one can estimate the magnitude of affection and the source themselves. This paper suggests a method to evaluate the spatial relationship of ground water and its contamination sources, using“contain”and“distance”operators in GIS. The research area is the Kunsan City in Chonbuk province, and are 75th wells those are located between the 4th alluvium land types. The results of measured chemical factors and results of related evaluation of these wells are stored and represented in ZEUS 2000 GIS DBMS, and an interface for searching and studying, is implemented by using ZEUS/SQLX, ZEUS/COM, and Visual Basic 6.0 programming languages. After this research, the spatial relationship between hydro-geological geo-objects and ground water is verified and a efficient evaluation system using GIS is suggested. It is the topic of further study that tries to calibrate the suggested evaluation model by applying it to wider area.
The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate critical success factors for effective implementation of web-based distance learning system. First of all, four critical success factors are theoretically derived from reviewing previous research. They are: (1) learner-related factor including the variables such as teaming ability, learning attitude, and attending motivation, (2) environmental factor including the variables of physical and mental support for learners, (3) instructional design factor represented by one variable, the degree of appropriateness of learning contents, and (4) the factor concerning the level of self-directed learning readiness embracing the variables such as curiosity for learning, openness towards challenge of learning and affection for learning. Subsequently, the relationships between these four critical success factors and the degree of learning satisfaction are empirically investigated. The data for empirical analysis of the research are collected from 1,020 respondents who have already passed the web-based distance learning courses which have been implemented in Information and Communication Officials Training Institute. Out of 1,020 responded questionnaires, 875 data were available for statistical analyses. The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, the most important factor for successful implementation of the web-based distance learning system is shown to be the instructional design factor, and in the next place, the self-directed learning readiness factor, the environmental factor and the learner-related one in sequence. Secondly, additional analysis of the variables included in the instructional design factor shows that availability of practical information and knowledge is the most influencing variable, and next, interesting composition of contents, reasonable learning amount, optimal level of instruction, and understandable explanation are significantly important in the descending order. Lastly, among learning motivators, strong intention of acquiring business knowledges and skills is found to be the most important satisfier in the web-based distance learning. The theoretical contribution of this study is to derive a comprehensive model of critical success factors for implementing the web-based distance learning system. And, the practical implication of this study is to propose efficient and effective guidelines for developing and operating the web-based distance learning system in the various kinds of organizations.
Given the extensive role of IS in everyday life and the increasing presence of women in IS users, understanding gender differences in individual technology continuance usage decisions is an important issue. Nevertheless, much of the large body of research on gender differences has just examined mean differences between women and men in terms of abilities, usage habit, and traits. Even though lots of psychology studies have shown that women, more than men, were influenced by affective factors, gender-affection-continuance use linkage has not been examined in the context of on-line shopping services. Therefore, the primary purpose of this paper is to seek to examine gender differences in terms of influence of affective factor in the context of IS continuance use. Meanwhile, IS continuance has been an important subject of study in the IT research area. To date, to explain why and how users are motivated to continue to use on-line shopping services, lots of theory-based research such as expectation-confirmation model (ECM) has been proposed. In particular, various affective factors have been proposed to explain continuance use of on-line shopping services recently. Affective factors have been regarded as essential factors for increasing relational strength and satisfaction. Several affective factors have been studied by prior IS adoption and continuance studies. Among them are enjoyment and anxiety. In IS continuance research, positive affect has been commonly and narrowly conceptualized and measured as the enjoyment which a person derives from using computers. Hence, in this study, we introduced intimacy factor, which was conceptually related to the quality of interactions and relationships in previous research. It also has been regarded as essential factors for strengthening human relationships. As a result, we have observed gender effect while examining intimacy-continuance bond. As expected based on the previous literatures, women seem to be more sensitive in affective factors. The contribution point here is that we find evidence in the context of on-line shopping services.

A empirical study investigating firms' attitudes and behaviors regarding of RFID technology within supply chain is very limited. Thus, this study examines the determinants influencing firms' adoption and performance of RFID within the supply chain. Particularly, this study focus on the impacts of the companies' relationship characteristics, including strategic fit, interdependence, compatibility, and long-term orientation affection RFID adoption and performance within the supply chain. Furthermore, the study includes environment uncertainty as a moderating effect between relationship characteristics and RFID adoption. The proposed research model was tested using structural equation modeling from 227 employees. Results of this study support the proposed hypotheses. The implication of this study suggest a new theoretical framework explaining RFID adoption and performance with the supply chain.
The purpose of this study is to examine and better understand student's perception of territory in the deterritorialized world. Students' sketch maps were analyzed to investigate the way of which they recognized the form of national territory, border, geographic location, and neighboring countries. In addition, students' values, attitudes, and affection for their homeland and other countries were observed through the awareness of North Korea, DMZ, and Dok-do island. Scrutinizing students' sketch maps and follow-up interviews provided much more in-depth context for understanding students' narratives about territorial identity than did the analysis of structured surveys since they can freely draw and sketch their cognition. A qualitative data analysis builded a code list with 67 codes generated from 626 quotations. These data were exported to CSV format to elicit and evaluate differential variances of territorial identity along with student's Social Studies score and Grade Point Average for inferential statistics and quantitative data analysis using SPSS. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, some suggestions to build a model of territorial education and to develop teaching and learning materials in the domain of geography education were provided.

A parametric study has been conducted to evaluate the effects of finite element modeling methods on the internal loads, sizing and the weight of the multi-spar aircraft wing structures. The wing is idealized into total 18finite element models and subjected to 4typical external load conditions. An automatic sizing algorithm based on MSC/NASTRAN and MSC/PATRAN is developed. The results show that the critical part affection the internal loads and weight of the structure is wing skin. Effect of modeling of the spar and rib on the structural behavior is not manifest. On the contrast to the general expectation, the models using the bending-resistant elements show the heavier weight than ones by the elements without bending stiffness. From this results, designers of multi-spar wing are recommended to construct the finite element model considering the bending stiffness, or to check the characteristics of the structure before modeling.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of brand identity of coffee specialty stores on customer 's brand trust of customers, brand attachment, revisit intention, and word of mouth intention. A survey was conducted and 342 copies were used in the analysis of the structural equation model. As a result of the study, the brand identity was proved to have a positive effect on brand trust. In addition, brand trust has a positive effect on brand attachment, indicating that it affects affection on the brand depending on the degree of trust on the brand. Brand attachment had a positive influence on revisit intention and positive influence on word of mouth intention. Therefore, the proper construction of brand identity is linked to the acquisition of fixed customers by linking with the intention of repurchase, and it affects the profit generation of brand, so the brand manager can confirm that proper establishment of brand identity and marketing strategy should be set up.
Childcare related studies have focused on the characteristics of care work, policy aspects, user family satisfaction, and job satisfaction of childcare helpers. But there have been few studies on family system characteristics that support childcare givers. Thus, this study conducted on the topic, "How to characterize the family resilience of long-term childcare givers?" The subjects belong to a healthy family support center in U. City, who belong to a group with an income in the top 20 % of about 20 persons working for more than 3 years. In an interview, qualitative questions were used Walsh's family resilience. The results are as follows. First, they had economic hardship, but their family would stand together and build up a family's power based on the couple's faith. They had a family role model based on their parents' family that included inherited maternity qualities from their mother. Second, the flexibility of the family organization changed to autonomous or co-role type and the connectivity. Especially, they appear as a family's leader. Third, their family communication was active, shared-care, responsible and passionate with family affection and understanding. The conclusions results are as follows. Participants were high school graduates as well as had work experience. They were characterized by positive family energy, a family belief system, family-based resources, flexibility, connectivity, open family communication and expression skills. Therefore, it can be suggested that it is necessary to check the family's resilience during an interview for the reliable, long-term supply of human resources for childcare activities.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze factors affecting school life adjustment of athletes in middle and high school. Methods: The data in this study came from the survey which conducted to 500 students of physical education high school athletes and elite athletes in general school from the beginning of December 2009 to the end of January 2010 in Seoul and Kyunggi. Finally 436 cases was used. The dependant variable in this study was school life adjustment. And the independent variables were socio-demographic factors, stress and depression factors, social support factors. The analysis methods were T-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, stepwise multiple regression analysis by using SPSS Ver. 12.0. Results: First, there was a statistically significant result between school life adaptation and sex, family circumstances, life satisfaction variables Second, there was a negative correlation between social support and stress, depression. Third, there was a negative correlation between school life adjustment and some stress factors, all depression factors. Also relationship between school life adjustment and social support showed a positive correlation. Fourth, Taking a look at the impact on school life adjustment, family factors and practical environmental factors in the stress factors and the feeling of worthlessness in the depression factors appeared to influence negatively. Also teachers' support in the social support factors showed positive effects. Explanatory power of the final regression model was 25.6%. Conclusions: The first step in order to improve the school life adjustment of athletes in middle and high school is the teachers' support. Athletes in middle and high school can have capability, responsibility, initiatives through teachers' attention and affection. The effective prevention education and health education programs on stress and depression should be introduced and carried out in the health education programs actively for student athletes to be free from stress, depression.
